FBI’s Botched Response to Nassar Sex Abuse Allegations Allowed Crimes to Continue: Inspector General

The Department of Justice’s Office of the Inspector General today released a report that says the FBI failed to act quickly enough against Larry Nassar, and this mismanagement allowed sexual abuse to continue for months after an agency office was first notified.

As spotlighted by the Associated Press, the Justice Department’s watchdog report on the FBI’s investigation into USA Gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar uncovered several “missteps.”

On page 3 of the report it says: “For many of the approximately 70 or more athletes, the abuse by Nassar began before the FBI first became aware of allegations against Nassar and continued into 2016. For others, the alleged abuse began after USA Gymnastics reported the Nassar allegations to the Indianapolis Field Office in July 2015.”

NC Could Limit Affirmative Action as GOP Lawmakers Push Back Against Critical Race Theory

RALEIGH, N.C. — A new bill rolled out Wednesday by the leader of the state Senate would prohibit North Carolina public schools from promoting the idea that one race or gender is inherently superior to another and that someone is inherently racist or sexist because of their race or gender.

Although it’s not taught in K-12 schools, Senate President Pro Tem Phil Berger said he believes students are being indoctrinated with the basic ideology of critical race theory, an academic concept that looks at inequities in current American culture through the lens of the nation’s history of racism, including slavery and Jim Crow.

Berger, R-Rockingham, said he’s not trying to outlaw the teaching of American history, including the chapters that deal with racism. Instead, he said, he’s trying to protect the ideals of classical liberalism from an ideology that seeks to overturn them.

Schumer Rolls Out Pot Legalization Bill Despite Biden Opposition

WASHINGTON — Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer on Wednesday released a “discussion draft” of legislation that would make marijuana federally legal — despite President Biden’s continued opposition to pot legalization.

Schumer (D-NY) wrote in a tweet that it’s a “legislative proposal to end the federal prohibition on marijuana and repair damage done by the War on Drugs — especially in communities of color.”

As France Issues Vaccine Passports, Questions Linger About Canada’s Approach

Questions have arisen over Trudeau’s approach to vaccine passes in Canada as France takes a hardline approach.

French President Emmanuel Macron announced this week that people will have to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test to enter establishments like bars, restaurants and movie theatres, as well as all french health care workers needing to be vaccinated by September 15th. In Canada, Justin Trudeau has left the decision of domestic vaccine passports up to the provinces but that leaves lingering questions about how, when, and why they will be implemented.

“In terms of domestic reflections (of vaccine passports) that’s something the provinces themselves will establish as what is right for them,” Justin Trudeau said about vaccine passports. Quebec and Manitoba are moving forward will a plan to implement while Alberta is strongly against the idea. Other provinces like Ontario and British Columbia seem caught in the middle of what to do.

In Quebec, vaccine passports will start to be issued in the coming months but the government says they will only be used as an alternative to lockdowns in the event of another outbreak. In that case, access to businesses deemed non-essential will be restricted to those who can provide proof of vaccination.

French Citizens Riot in Response to Plan to Mandate Vaccine Passports

French citizens rioted in response to plans by President Macron to mandate vaccine passports to enter venues like shopping malls, restaurants bars, hospitals, bars, cafe’s and access public transport.

As we highlighted yesterday, people will have to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test to enter any of these sites from August onwards.

Given that they would have to cover the bill for every single PCR test, the restrictions would make the vaccine de facto mandatory for anyone who wants to live a normal life.

People in Paris responded on Bastille Day with an unruly protest that led to French police using tear gas to disperse the demonstrators.

Rising Cases of Church Vandalism in Hungary

Almost two thousand cases of damage and destruction have been recorded by the Hungarian Catholic Church in recent years, of which about thirty are of burglary and occasional vandalism, the press service of the Hungarian Catholic Episcopal Conference informed daily Magyar Nemzet. The press service added that the amount of insurance paid for damages has not generally exceeded HUF 300,000 (€840) so far.

The Church said the Hungarian Catholic Episcopal Conference does not keep statistics on churches open 24 hours a day or on police proceedings. Thus, it is not known how many Catholic churches in Hungary are open around the clock, a policy sometimes exploited by criminals.

Not all of the 2,000 damages and crimes are made public, but the press still reports on the most outrageous ones. For example, on June 30, a middle-aged man vandalized a Catholic church in Bosnyak Square in Budapest. The perpetrator broke into the church on a bright day at around 1 p.m., then destroyed and desecrated statues, flags, candles, flower holders and altar tables. Damage was estimated at HUF 1 million.

Spain’s Top Court Rules Pandemic Lockdown Unconstitutional

BARCELONA, Spain (AP) — Spain’s Constitutional Court ruled Wednesday that a strict stay-at-home lockdown order the Spanish government issued under a state of emergency during the first wave of COVID-19 last year was unconstitutional.

While upholding most terms of the state of emergency, the court said provisions ordering the population off the streets except for shorts shopping trips, unavoidable work commutes and other essential business violated Spain’s Constitution.

The court issued a brief statement that described the ruling as a split decision. State broadcaster TVE said six magistrates were in favor and five against. The full decision is expected to be released in the coming days.

According to TVE, the court majority ruled that the limitations on movement violated citizens’ basic rights and the state of emergency was a constitutionally insufficient mechanism to do that. The six magistrates said a state of exception, which does allow the government to suspend basic rights, would have been necessary.

The Economist Publishes Bizarre Story Bemoaning Lack of ‘Diversity’ In Italian Squad

The article goes on to suggest that the team’s victory over England in the final of the Euros was a “victory…for the Italian right,” presumably because England’s first team included several black players while Italy’s starting 11 didn’t contain any.

Western Europe’s True Conservatives Applaud Hungary’s Child Protection Law

The dividing line between conservatives and progressives in Western Europe was once again highlighted by the European Parliament’s vote against Hungary’s child protection law on Thursday, July 8.

Members of the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR), as well as Identity & Democracy (I&D) groups, both from Western Europe and former Eastern Bloc countries, voted overwhelmingly against the resolution calling for sanctions against Hungary. The progressive-liberal and Eurofederalist center, the left and the red-green extreme left voted overwhelmingly in favor of financial sanctions against Hungary in the name of LGBT rights.

In the center-right European People’s Party (EPP), on the other hand, a few MEPs, mainly from former Eastern Bloc countries, voted against, while a majority of French, Spanish and Italian MEPs chose to abstain. However, those center-right MPs seem to avoid speaking out too much on the subject.

South Africa Riots: Looting and Shooting in Durban

Protests which began after former South African President Jacob Zuma handed himself into police to serve a 15-month sentence have descended into days of violence and looting. The BBC has spoken to a few of the people caught in the middle.

“We are on fire,” Ian — not his real name — tells the BBC from riot-hit Durban in South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal province.

In the last three days, he reckons he has managed an hour or two of sleep at a time. He and his team — who work for a private security company — are surviving on energy drinks as they wait and watch.

They have given up trying to stop the looting which has destroyed so many buildings since protests calling for South Africa’s former President Jacob Zuma to be freed from jail began last week. Ian has heard reports of three security guards being killed since the weekend.

Now, they are just protecting the neighbourhoods where they live.

“We’ve gone to a place where we are going to watch them stealing, we are not interfering with them — don’t harm us…

It made successive sorties picking up the group and transferring them to the safety of the shore.

The Number of Migrants Who Drowned on Their Way to Europe Has Doubled This Year

The number of migrants who died at sea trying to get to Europe has more than doubled this year. The International Organization for Migration (IOM) stated this in its report on Tuesday. According to IOM statistics, at least 1,146 migrants heading to European countries died at sea between January and June this year.

In 2020, these dangerous crossings claimed the lives of 513 people over the same period. In 2019, it was the lives of 674 people. Overall, the number of migrants heading to Europe by sea has increased by 56 percent this year.

Most migrants — 741, to be precise — died trying to cross the central Mediterranean from Libya to Italy. Another 250 people did not survive while using the route between the West African countries and the Spanish Canary Islands, and 149 people died trying to cross the Western Mediterranean to reach Spain. At least six people drowned on their way to Greece. However, according to IOM, there might be more victims given that many shipwrecks go unnoticed.

“Sensitivity Readers” to Proofread Books So They Don’t Offend Cancel Mobs

New, widespread phenomena inevitably create new economies, and new job titles; the strong push to align content, including books, with what can be summed up as “woke values” is no different.

The Spectator writes about a new brand of copy editors — “sensitivity readers.” The term is appropriately Orwellian in itself, given what these people get hired by publishers to do: make sure that stories that don’t represent a writer’s “lived experience” are “corrected” to better reflect that.

And the “sensitivity authority” who decides what is authentic is the freelancer given the job. It sounds fairly arbitrary, like many other things happening in society these days that flirt with some form of censorship or suppression of content.

Discord Acquires AI Censorship Company

Discord is abandoning its current model of moderation that relies on human employees as well as community volunteers such as moderators and administrators, and is adding algorithmic solutions, i.e., “AI” into the mix.

This transpires from an announcement that the online chat platform — that originally served the gaming community but has since sought to expand to other groups — is acquiring Sentropy.

Sentropy only appeared on the scene selling “AI-powered” tools to combat what is seen as abuse and harassment online last summer. The timing was obviously right as the push to label online content and censor it became paramount in some circles, leading to an industry springing up around it — from fact-checkers to “AI censors” of dubious technical merit.

Lufthansa Will No Longer Address Customers as Ladies and Gentlemen

Lufthansa Airlines will abandon the traditional address of “ladies and gentlemen”. On board the company’s planes, passengers will no longer encounter the polite wording “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard the Lufthansa Boeing / Airbus on the route…” The company’s management explains the decision is an effort to be gender-sensitive when addressing its clients.

A Lufthansa spokesman claims that there are more than enough opportunities to address clients sensitively and politely on board, and he also mentioned many options. Passengers can look forward to “Dear guests”, for example, or “Good morning, afternoon, evening”, or “Welcome on board the plane”.

“The chief of the flight crew will decide for the flight which address will be most appropriate at that time,” said a company spokesman.

Polish Top Administrative Court Rejects Birth Certificate With Two Women Entered as the Parents

Two women wanted to be the foreign birth certificate of their child, in which they were both entered as the parents, to also be valid in Poland. The Supreme Administrative Court ruled that such a case would be incompatible with Polish law and repealed the earlier ruling of the Voivodship Administrative Court.

The women wanted to register the British birth certificate of their child in Poland.

The director of the Civil Registry Office refused to transcribe the document, however, due to the parents being stated as two people of the same gender. His decision was later upheld by the Voivodship governor but the Voivodship Administrative Court overrode his decision.

Through a cassation appeal, the case reached the Supreme Administrative Court, which decided last week that two women being the parents of a child was illegal in Poland.

    • I don’t know how important it is with respect to anything else but this should be required listening in schools. I think it is the last recording in Jonestown before they drank the kool-aid. For those who are unfamiliar, I am referring to the mass suicide in Guyana back in the 70’s. You don’t hear about it or kool-aid much anymore. Some of the interesting things are the complaints about the white people who ran away, asking Russia to take them (not sure they ever really asked), and their socialist/communist beliefs. I hear Biden in his voice in how he communicates. An example of the power you give up when part of the group. BLM, vaccines, your post, the way the media operates, VivaFrei/Robert Barnes interview Alex Jones yesterday made my stumbling across the recording coincidental.

    • CONSPIRACY WARNING ON MY POST in response to the above video.
Well just something to ponder. There is a tick called the lone start tick. If you get bitten either something it inject or a disease it transmits to you can result in you becoming allergic to red meat and you can go into anaphylaxis. It would be possible that the mRNA vaccine could make you allergic to something you don’t normally ingest. Since Mr. Bill Gates is the largest farmland owner in the US, some new already approved but unreleased crop variant, could be deployed that the population is largely allergic to. It may even look like people died from a variant of covid. I don’t think the mRNA prevents COVID, I think it conditions you.

    • Colonel Kaddafi said they will create a “pandemic”, and “make money off of the cure, which they already have”, then he died 🙂

I believe that the only problem big pharma have is that the Covid virus is not as deadly as they would want it to be, but the script had been written, and there is not much room to deviate from the plan.

      • Surprised they didn’t just allow Ebola to run rampant here in the West instead. They tried under the muslim imposter-in-chief but it wasn’t able to take root here in America. Probably just a little too effective and virulent for the elites; their personal safety couldn’t be guaranteed since there wasn’t yet a vaccine for it.

        • That has been my number 1 issue with Obama. I recall someone here vomited in the street in Texas that had come to the US with it. I don’t know if dogs can get it but that is something a dog could investigate and then who knows where it could go from there. Just reckless.

  1. Lootings in South Africa:
    (IRONY ON)
    Its all whiteys fault!
More money for Critical Race Theory!
    (IRONY OFF)

and meanwhile Zuma sings his favourite song: One settler – one bullet!

  2. Anyone know why sites like Breitbart and CitizenFreePress are pushing Ann Coulter? When I ask them in their threads, I get censored.

    • I stopped going to Breitbart long ago, because they started censoring comments something awful. They won’t respond.

Got blocked on the Pundit, because I was critical of their click bait nonsense. Neither are worth it.

  3. Should the Canadian strip club policy make its way to the States, I might have to reconsider my anti jab stance. Hmm….

  4. Thanks Baron for the South African coverage. Believe me , this is the true start of The Hunger Games. People from Cape Town are driving up to Durban and Northern Natal province to deliver baby food , medicines and rations to their fellow relatives. The oil refinery has closed so no fuel for the eastern half of the country and no farmers will deliver food to the cities, too dangerous as well as hijacking and murder rampant . I just saw the huge tank trucks like gasoline delivery trucks, letting all their milk flow out because they cannot deliver it . Massive food shortages now with more than 200 huge shopping malls plundered and burned to the ground . That does not include chain and private stores and supermarkets and fashion stores in the central business districts and elsewhere in the cities and towns. In Cape Town the bread prices have shot through the roof and petrol is being rationed. In the eastern half there are mile long queues outside the few shops that can still supply and they are putting very low limits on what and how much you can buy so that each can get a little. Its truly sad . And all because of the ruling ANC party having serious divisions among themselves and fracturing while at the same time the millions of hungry people took advantage and went on the rampage without thinking of the outcome for the future. Now they have to pay with massive starvation. Even rich people and politicians participated in the plunder . We have them on camera . Unfortunately we dont expect any arrests because the justice system has been state captured and compromised.

    • Is there anywhere in Africa that can competently manage its own affairs? Just took longer for tribal dysfunction to finally take down South Africa since apartheid was keeping the country functional until they were forced by the West to abandon it.

Just goes to show that without serious restrictions or standards to determine just who will be allowed to vote, a country is doomed to be destroyed by the hordes of those who have no business voting.

      • Looks exactly like areas here in the US doesn’t it? The same rhetoric that was used in SA during apartheid against the whites is now being used in our western nations. Gee, who couldn’t see that coming. Anywhere the bloody orcs rule, it is a 3rd world cesspit.

        • I have an anecdote illustrating the black mindset. In a pricy private game reserve in SA some 15 years ago. Breakfast time, six guests around the table, three waitering, well not really, they were all supervising each other, being in a superior position( as the white guide said). They stood by the buffet chatting along with no regard of their customers. And this was a 400$ pop a night all in. They only moved when I made an effort to help myself to coffee. No sense of committement or quality of service.
A foreign school in Capetown had to employ a native(?) principal. This guy was completely incompetent and knew it( refer to Gadaliah Brauns book) . He watered the flowers on the window sill and went back home. After all, he was a boss, so why work?

          • I have been to SA numerous times and since the blacks have taken over, it has turned into a 3rd world cesspool.

          • That’s the African illegal or otherwise in Western Europe. With so much media telling these savages that they are the majority – they act accordingly. Ignore whites in stores or give rude service. The indigenous in Europe are being self-disappeared and “their lands will be ours”. Ah the coming decades. People should be sick and tired soon. Before the Blackman decides to go on a plunder spree. SA may be a clue.

  5. My friends in Joberg report the bleck areas are burning, one mall in Joberg was almost looted before a commando(Civilian reaction force) unit stepped in and did what they do best and no police to be found and the whites have dug up their trusty R-4’s/5’s that they accidentally lost and are shooting anything zulu that comes near their areas, quite a few farms have been burned and the whites killed in the eastern regions. There are also well protected white areas that were hit and a few homes burnt by molotov cocktails and lots of bodies, far more that is being reported.

  6. All the orcs drowning while attempting to cross by water from Orcistan to Europe should be a feel-good story. Think of all the lives that were saved by these future rapists, drug dealers, and allah-motivated murderers being claimed by Poseidon before they could invade the Dar-al-Harb.

    • Everytime I hear or read about the death of orcs I shout Hallelujah, thank God. The only good muslim is a dead muslim in my opinion.

    • It is too bad we don’t have some fast attack boats to put an end to this invasion. There are plenty of rough hard men that would volunteer.

      • They don’t need to target the boats carrying the orcs; just the ones that are “rescuing” them. Fewer of those and harder to replace.

Although fast attack boats aren’t really needed for that task either. A small limpet mine stuck to the hull by a guy with a scuba tank and a wetsuit while it is in harbor somewhere then remotely detonated once it’s in deep enough water to make salvage impractical would do the trick quite nicely.

        • I prefer to wait until those NGO boats are nice and filled with 3rd worlders before acting, two birds one stone if you know what I mean?

  7. Nobody cry for White people butchered to dead in SA by Black..Who remember Black Commie slogan-ideology ” one bullet-one white man “..?
Let them kill each other..We in Poland doesn’t care much about them ..
Our attention right now is focused on German-Dutch alliance with Soviet=Biden Commies and Russian Commies….

    • Pssst, the bloody Germans ain’t going to invade Poland again, the Polish army is far larger, training continues and highly motivated versus the Germans who have 2 aircraft that can fly, no rifles(sold off to the 3rd world) tanks that sit in large parks with no one to drive them and a navy that can’t put a sub or surface craft to sea.

      • They learned..What they need is to create German Political Party in Poland ( aka Tusk an PO) and corrupt or blackmail few politicians..
exactly what happening in Poland right now….
But we Poles learn that as well ..
Contempt and hate of Germans in Poland historically high..
We are also aware Berlin is just 60 km from our borders..Good enough for heavy artillery and short range missiles..
You can fool stupid American Politicians but not as a Poles..
We know what you up to..German Empire aka IV Reich you dream last 1000 years..will never happen !!

        • Too bad the Poles didn’t go with the Kaiser before WW1, instead you got Hitler and the loss of my family lands and estates in Prussia.
