14-Year-Old Girl Dies Days After Back of the Yards Shooting

A 14-year-old girl who was shot Wednesday by gang members after being chased in Back of the Yards has died.

Savanah Quintero was pronounced dead at 12:57 p.m. at Comer Children’s Hospital, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

The shooting happened around 6 p.m. in the 1700 block of West 48th Street, Chicago police said.

The teen and her boyfriend had just bought snacks from a store when they were confronted by three young gunmen, according to police and Ald. Ray Lopez (15th).

They asked if she was in a gang, and after she said she wasn’t, the attackers chased her and opened fire, officials said. She was taken to Comer in critical condition at the time.

No arrests have been reported.

Amazon Driver Attacks 67-Year-Old Woman During Delivery Dispute

A 21-year-old Amazon driver has been arrested after savagely attacking a 67-year-old customer Thursday following a dispute over a delivery in Castro Valley, Calif.

The driver, Itzel Ramirez, engaged in a heated verbal exchange with the unnamed victim before unleashing a horrific onslaught of punches to the back of the head and the face of the much older woman.

The vicious encounter was caught on video from multiple angles.

Ramirez reportedly verbally berated the victim about her “white privilege” before the attack, according to KTVU FOX2. Police say that the victim may have called the suspect a “b—h” before the exchange turned to fisticuffs.

Breaking: Trump Says the ‘Survival of America’ Depends on Electing Republicans During 2022 Midterms

Former President Donald Trump portrayed the upcoming midterm elections as the battle for America’s survival at the GOP convention Saturday in North Carolina.

“As we gather tonight, our country is being destroyed before our very own eyes,”“ Trump began the speech. “Crime is exploding. Police departments are being ripped apart and defunded,” added Trump from the podium before the applauding crowd.

Trump was the keynote speaker over the weekend at the 2021 North Carolina Republican Party convention held in the city of Greenville. The appearance marked the 45th president’s second public speech since leaving office in January and following the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in February.

ESPN Fires Kelly Stewart Over Anti-Lockdown and Decade-Old Tweets

ESPN fired a female gambling analyst just a month after hiring her over past tweets from almost a decade ago. The network fired her despite having deleted the tweets, posted in 2012.

Gambling analyst Kelly Stewart was hired by ESPN a month ago. She was fired this week after “objectionable” tweets from 2012 were brought to the network’s attention. In the tweets, she used the term “fags” while responding to trolls attacking her.

Reports also indicate that ESPN had flagged some tweets she made last year objecting to COVID-19 lockdowns.

Facebook Suppresses Fauci Emails With “Fact Checks”

While Facebook has been forced to reverse a major component of its Covid-related censorship — that pertaining to the possible origin of coronavirus — it continues to enforce other rules around what can and cannot be said about the pandemic.

On both Facebook and Instagram, the giant remains committed to playing the judge, jury, and executioner of content it doesn’t approve of that concerns vaccines, and now reports say that mentioning or posting screenshots of Dr. Anthony Fauci’s emails has also been declared off limits.

GoFundMe Tells Matt Walsh ‘Family’ of AOC’s Abuela Won’t Accept Money After He Raised $100,000 to Repair Home

Conservative commentator Matt Walsh revealed on Saturday that the “family” of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s grandmother will not be accepting the money he raised to repair her home after the New York Democrat blamed former President Donald Trump for blocking aid that was supposed to be sent to Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria.

Walsh took to Twitter and shared an email he received from the GoFundMe Trust & Safety Team, who informed him that they had been in communications with the “beneficiary’s family,” who made it clear that “they will not be accepting the funds raised.”

“When a beneficiary doesn’t want to accept the funds that have been raised on their behalf, it is standard practice to turn off donations, then refund all donors,” GoFundMe told Walsh.

Jake Tapper: Why Reinstate Trump’s Facebook? “His Lies Are Getting Worse”

In an interview with Facebook’s vice president of global affairs and communication Nick Clegg, CNN’s “The Lead” host Jake Tapper asked why Facebook plans to allow former President Trump back on the platform.

Facebook recently announced Trump would be banned for two years, following a recommendation by its Oversight Board that the indefinite ban was unfair.

“So, Facebook is acknowledging that Trump used its platform for harm. He incited the deadly insurrection. Trump continues to spread lies that prompt death threats. Why give him your platform at all?” Tapper asked Clegg.

Left-Wing Catholic Paper Accuses U.S. Bishops of Worshiping at ‘MAGA Church’

The far-left National Catholic Reporter, in a bizarre op-ed this week, accused the U.S. Bishops of worshiping former President Donald Trump rather than Jesus Christ.

The newspaper’s editorial board declares that “Catholicism already is perceived by many — including many of our young people — as an extension of that portion of the Republican Party that believes the ‘Big Lie,’“ adding that it “promotes conspiracy theories about vaccinations and is willing to abandon all other principles to overturn a nearly 50-year-old court case.”

North Carolina Police Department Limits Response to 911 Calls Due to ‘Staffing Crisis’

The Asheville Police Department in North Carolina announced Wednesday that, going forward, the force will limit the amount and types of 911 calls that officers will be able to respond to because of the department’s “staffing crisis.”

“The Asheville Police Department (APD) has lost 84 officers since January 1, 2020. As a result of the staffing crisis, several changes in officer response will go into effect immediately in order to improve response times for emergency calls made to 9-1-1,” the department wrote on Facebook.

Perhaps most alarmingly, the Asheville police will no longer be responding to “theft under 1,000 where there is no suspect information” or “theft from a vehicle where there is no suspect information.” Also eyebrow-raising is that the police will no longer deal with “simple assaults that are reported after they have occurred.”

Now One of the Original Lab Leak Deniers Calls for a ‘Thorough Investigation’ Into COVID’s Origin as He Admits ‘A Lot of Disturbing Information’ Has Surfaced Since He Signed Lancet Letter Denouncing Theory

One of the 27 Covid lab leak deniers who signed a letter denouncing the theory that the virus escaped from a lab in Wuhan has now called for a ‘thorough investigation’ into Covid’s origins, MailOnline can reveal.

Dr Peter Palese, a microbiologist at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, signed the letter in the Lancet in February last year claiming the virus could only have been natural in origin and to suggest otherwise would create ‘fear, rumors, and prejudice’.

The ‘bullying’ letter, orchestrated by Dr Peter Daszak, the head of a non-profit that funnelled U.S. taxpayer dollars to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, was criticized by experts for ostracizing anyone offering different opinions on the virus’ origins, dismissing them as conspiracy theorists.

Protest Erupts Again Over Man Killed by Minnesota Deputies

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Protesters faced off with officers in Minneapolis early Saturday over the shooting death of a man by members of a U.S. Marshals task force.

Photos from the scene following a vigil for Winston Boogie Smith Jr., 32, showed dumpster fires in the street and a line of officers standing guard. It was the second night of protests in response to the fatal shooting Thursday in Minneapolis’ Uptown neighborhood.

Authorities said Friday that Smith was wanted on a weapons violation and fired a gun before two deputies shot him while he was inside a parked vehicle. Members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force were trying to arrest him on a warrant for allegedly being a felon in possession of a gun.

Family and friends described Smith as a father of three who was often harassed by police. They are demanding transparency in the investigation and have asked that anyone who might have video footage to come forward.

Police said some people vandalized buildings and stole from businesses after the shooting Thursday. Nine people were arrested on possible charges including suspicion of riot, assault, arson and damage to property.

Researchers Want Americans to Eat 90% Less Beef, Conform With Paris Agreement

As President Biden seeks to reduce American carbon emissions, a University of Michigan study suggests drastically reducing meat consumption.

The study — published by University of Michigan researchers Martin Heller, Gregory Keoleian, and Diego Rose — lists ways in which the United States could conform with the Paris Agreement’s emissions targets.

In particular, the study notes that “replacing 50% of all animal-based foods with plant-based alternatives” in combination with “replacing 90% of beef” would cut American carbon dioxide emissions annually by 2,408 million metric tons.

MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) — A Chisago County family is grieving Saturday, after losing their daughter to yet more gun violence in Minneapolis overnight.

“20 years old, she’s dead. Senseless, didn’t even get to live life,” father Travis added.

The family says overnight the 19 year old went with her cousins to watch street racing in Minneapolis but never came home.

“She was shot three times, one in each arm and one in her chest,” Rachel said.

The shooting happened on the 2200 block of North Second Street, according to Minneapolis Police. The Jensens say drivers were doing burnouts and donuts in the area when two people got into an argument, and shots were fired…

Alberta NDP Opposition Pitches Plan to Legalize Illegal Tent City in Edmonton

As homeless encampments are set up in the middle of Edmonton’s historic Old Strathcona area, the provincial NDP opposition is proposing legalizing California-style tent cities.

“We’re not making any demands or anything. We just want to draw attention to the issue of youth homelessness before winter hits. We need to get rooms for these guys,” said Cameron Noyes, an activist working with the city’s homeless population, according to an article by CTV News Edmonton.

“We are getting a lot of people up on Whyte Avenue from the tent city down there,” Noyes said.

The provincial NDP opposition is examining possible solutions, which one of the options being analyzed is to legalize the homeless encampments by “establishing safe, legal campsites on public lands.”

Belgium: Protesters Get Six Months in Prison for ‘Stop Islamization’ Banner

Sharia states are the same all over the world: they discriminate fiercely against women, they deny non-Muslims numerous rights, they’re human rights basket cases with draconian punishments for homosexuality, adultery, theft, and more, and they’re vociferously anti-Semitic. But if you oppose all that in the West, you’re the problem.

Yet despite the problem of Islamization, Angela Merkel’s party has advised other EU countries that are facing an unsustainable problem with illegal Muslim migrants to build more migrant centers to house illegal economic Muslim migrants. Western countries need stringent border controls. Open-door immigration serves as an open door invitation to jihadists.

Unlike the other incidents, a number of tourists were out on the streets in Playa de Palma.

In Plaça Drassana, near La Llotja and the port, some 150 people had to be moved on. There were similar numbers on the Carrer Sant Magi in Santa Catalina, in the vicinity of the Feixina Park and on the Son Castelló industrial estate.

A joint operation with the National Police, deployment of officers lasted until 6am. The local police also checked some fifty establishments in Arenal, Santa Catalina and elsewhere.

The EU Refuses to Give Up on Internet Content Filters

Content filtering has long been a “must-have” in autocratic regimes around the world — but when this type of “solution” to whatever problem crops up in those entities considered to be democracies guided by the rule of law, it is sure to cause protestations and controversies.

That is what happened several years ago when the European Union (EU) first introduced the idea of adopting a new copyright directive and its Article 17 (originally Article 13), and contention around this topic refuses to die down — as the bloc refuses to prioritize interests of individuals and independents over a handful of powerful companies and organizations.

UK Colleges Violate Free Speech by Using Software to Report “Micro Aggressions”

Top UK universities have been accused of free speech violations for using software allowing students to anonymously report “micro aggressions” and other behavior from both staff and students. Critics perceive the tool as a “threat to traditions of free speech and fearless discussion of ideas.”

Cambridge University dons blasted the school for launching a website allowing students to anonymously report what they call micro aggressions. The criticism led to the university taking down the website.

It turns out Cambridge is not the only university to have launched such a controversial system. The tool, called Report + Support, was developed by a firm called Culture Shift, founded in 2018 by Carl Sadd, Gemma McCall, and Stuart Bradley. The firm was founded to make software to help combat bullying at Manchester University.

Islamic Republic: Welcome to Iran’s Fake Democratic Elections

The unelected Guardian Council has a history of arbitrarily disqualifying reform-minded candidates, women and those who are perceived as disloyal to the principles of the state and the Islamic revolution, from running for office.

Out of 592 individuals who registered to run as candidates in the Iranian regime’s 13th presidential election, the unelected Guardian Council only approved seven individuals to run for the presidency.

Of course, for the ayatollah, the elections are “flawless” because his regime gets to pick who runs.

Instead of condemning the mullahs for this charade of fake elections, the Biden administration — after feathering the nests of American enemies such as Russia and China — continues to try to make a deal that will not be kept, shower Iran’s regime with masses of money it demands from America’s hard-working taxpayers, and lift sanctions to further empower yet another corrupt and predatory regime.

India: Muslim Cleric Booked for Raping Minor Girl in a Mosque, But What’s New?

On Monday, May 31, Delhi Police arrested a 48-year-old Muslim cleric on charges of raping a minor girl inside a mosque in northeast Delhi. It is alleged that the 12-year-old had gone inside the mosque on Sunday night to fetch water; upon her return, she told her parents what she had endured in the mosque. The girl’s parents filed a complaint with the Delhi Police on Sunday night. The police began a search and arrested the accused, who was from Gaziabad’s Loni, on Monday. The cleric, who is married and has four children, has been “booked under section 376 [rape] of the Indian Penal Code and relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act,” said the police.

As heinous as the crime is, one would expect that woke-liberal-feminist activists, especially those hailing from Bollywood (the Indian film industry), would flood their Instagram and Twitter handles with outraged condemnations of the act. Yet not one of these flag-bearers of morality and icons of outrage could summon up enough courage to do so.

India: Muslim Group Goes to Supreme Court Over Citizenship Amendment Act Offering Refuge to Persecuted Non-Muslims

“The Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) has moved the Supreme Court challenging the Centre’s notification inviting non-Muslims belonging to Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan and residing in 13 districts in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Haryana and Punjab to apply for Indian citizenship.” The invitation to these countries’ non-Muslims constituted the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). The CAA fast-tracked Indian citizenship for Christian, Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, and Parsi immigrants from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh who arrived in India before 2015.

The CAA lead to unrest from Muslims when it was passed in December 2019. Mass protests led to violence across India, and Al-Qaeda called for Muslims in India to wage jihad from within. A relentless propaganda barrage against India came from Pakistan, Kuwait and across the Muslim world. Muslims also appealed to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, with complaints against India over “Islamophobia.” This reaction, in fact, proved exactly why infidels need rescuing from the wrath of Islamic supremacists and jihadists everywhere.

China’s WeChat Announces a Bunch of New Content Restrictions

Chinese tech giant Tencent has announced a long list of banned activities on WeChat’s live streaming feature, including nose picking and spanking. Chinese regulators have increased attention on live streaming services, which have become popular since the start of the pandemic.

Tencent owns WeChat, a messaging app used by more than 1 billion people. WeChat is more like a basic need in China as it is not merely a messaging app; it can be used for virtually everything, including booking flights and making payments. Tencent launched the live streaming feature in WeChat last year.

Now, in a move that appears to be an attempt to comply with Beijing’s censorship rules, Tencent announced a long list of “violations” that are no longer going to be allowed on WeChat live streams.

Around 10 members of the Tiananmen Mothers victims’ group laid offerings for their loved ones at Beijing’s Wan’an Cemetery, closely watched by around 30 plainclothes police.

In the brief ceremony that took less than an hour, police kept their distance, and didn’t interrupt proceedings, mourners told RFA.

Tiananmen Mothers members Zhang Xianling, Huang Xuefen, You Weijie and Huang Jinping were among the mourners, and were escorted through the north gate of the cemetery by plainclothes police, Zhang told RFA after the ceremony.

Australian Islamist Extremist Group Fans the Antisemitic Flames

Hizb ut-Tahrir (HT, Arabic for “the party for liberation”) is a pan-Islamic fundamentalist movement calling for the re-establishment of a global Muslim Caliphate based on Islamic religious law (Sharia) while rejecting the integration of Muslims into non-Muslim societies.

The leaders of the Australian branch of HT (HT Aus) have a long and well-documented history of support for terrorism as well as antisemitism and incitement against Jews, including Holocaust denial.

During the recent conflict in Gaza, HT Aus organised a protest titled “Dua (prayer) for Al-Aqsa” in Sydney on May 11 and a social media video discussion on May 20. In them, they engaged in blatant antisemitism — accusing Jews of being “evil and treacherous” and spreading “filth” and characterising them as money-grubbing, pleasure-loving thieves — and demanded that all Jews in “Palestine” leave or be killed.

Nigeria Bans Twitter After the Platform Censored Its President

Twitter users in Nigeria have been struggling to access the social network on mobile networks. The African country’s government recently announced an indefinite suspension of Twitter operations.

On Friday, the Nigerian government announced the indefinite suspension of Twitter because of “the persistent use of the platform for activities capable of undermining Nigeria’s corporate existence.”

As of Saturday morning, the BBC claims that its reporters in Lagos, the largest city, and Abuja, the country’s capital, were unable to access Twitter on the country’s largest mobile network carriers, MTN and Airtel. However, the social network was accessible on some Wi-Fi network providers, although that is not a common way to access the internet in Nigeria.

The Twitter ban came a few days after Twitter suspended President Muhammud Buhari over a tweet that referenced the 1967-70 civil war in the nation’s southeastern region, threatening to treat “those misbehaving today” in “the language they will understand.” Twitter removed the tweet and suspended Buhari’s account for 12 hours, because the tweet violated its policy on “abusive behavior.”

Austria: Waving a Qur’an, Muslim Migrant Drags Police Officer 50 Meters With His Car, ‘Motive Unclear’

The motive couldn’t be clearer. Vehicular attacks are a common jihad tactic. But as we know, the political and media elites are impervious to the evidence before their eyes.

  1. Re: “eat 90% less beef” – Disregarding the “carbon footprint” angle, I have given up nearly all red meat and dairy in recent years and I feel much healthier for it. In fact, it’s gotten to the point where if I eat any beef or cheese with a meal, I’ll feel it well into the next day. Bloating & gas, inflammation in my fingers and elbows, and a general heaviness throughout the body. We are mammals, and it doesn’t appear to be healthy for us to eat the flesh and dairy of other mammals. Although it does appear that gelatin is the one exception to that. Like I said, I don’t care about “carbon footprint” nonsense, but minimizing the red meat consumption has been good for me and might be good for others.

Re: the Amazon driver attack – Every day, anti-white attacks are reported on various news sites. The minorities are getting worse, and there doesn’t appear to be any change coming to stop their destructive behavior. As long as our society is preoccupied with racist in-fighting, we can’t focus on more pertinent issues like national security or the failing economy. I think the US is circling the drain. Keep your guns handy, because when the fed finally pukes and can’t conceal their failures any further, the inbred ghetto apes will go fully wild and attack literally everything around them. If you believe the nervous prattling of economists, some of them think the collapse could come this year or right after US midterm elections next year.

    • And there are gazillions of people who feel better on a paleolithic diet and feel worse on a heavy grain diet. Back when I was seriously ill, I tried all sorts of diets. The low fat low meat no dairy diet got me to a place where I looked horrrible and thought I was dying. When I switched back to normal, I recovered.

I think I felt best on a diet that excluded all grains (I think they call it keto these days) and lost weight naturally. But I ended up missing bread, the crunchiness of it.

In the end, I decided that I would eat the foods I love. But in terms of evolution, and in terms of carbon, low grain low soy high meat, veggies and fruits seems best. That’s what we evolved to eat. I wish all the fanatics about carbon would actually pay attention to keeping carbon (and nitrogen and water) in the ground where it belongs (and which plowing loosens into the atmosphere). No such luck.

Plus, everybody is a bit different, and paying attention to the food of one’s ancestors also makes sense. People who turn fanatics and try to enforce one diet on all are totalitarians.

  2. The justified although quite belated shooting death of one Mr Winston Boogie Smith Jr. should be a rallying cry for the expansion of Planned Parenthood. If the clinics were as ubiquitous as liquor stores and crackhouses amongst the inner city ghettos then there would have been no reason for cops to have ever been looking for Mr Winston Boogie Smith Jr. in the first place, as he would likely now be the star of fetal tissue research instead of the muse for dumpster fires, shoe store lootings, and wretched faux-saint murals. That this feral reprobate sired three (known) spawn is also an indictment of the failure of Planned Parenthood in its purpose, and such failings will one day result in yet more hollow-points being spent ending criminal rampages of fully grown thugs and yet more dumpsters and their contents sacrificed needlessly to the flames.

      • I just get tired of those who blindly proclaim all abortion is evil and morally wrong. I am by no means pro-abortion but I think on the average it has probably done more good by removing criminals from society before they are born as well as helping to thin the ranks of future leftists and low-info voters. After all, Margaret Sanger was primarily concerned from keeping the minorities and irresponsible from breeding indiscriminately, and never intended that abortion would be something widespread amongst the white middle and upper classes. Most PP clinics are not located in white upper crust suburbia anyway, which should inform one as to who is doing the majority of the aborting in the first place. And I daresay the ghettos would disappear within a generation if PP were to offer free big screen TVs, Nikes, and beer to those who voluntarily chose to become sterilized.

        • I changed my mind about abortion, there is something to be said about culling the 3rd world invaders in our midst. You are completely correct.

  3. Quote: Demonstrators engaged in mostly peaceful protests that involved setting fire to dumpsters and looting businesses.

Isnt that an oxymoron: peaceful protests vs staring fires and looting.
    Sorry, forgot the MOSTLY.
    My mistake.
