Bill to Ban Teaching of Critical Race Theory

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A growing group of Ohio’s Republican lawmakers say they’re troubled by a new way some schools are teaching history and they want to put a stop to it.

It’s called critical race theory or CRT for short. It’s an academic concept based on the idea that racism is more than individual bias. It’s a systemic problem that’s embedded into our legal system, our algorithms and our laws.

Supporters say CRT teaches how racism shaped public policy and life in America. Opponents, like the sponsors of House Bill 322, call it a dangerous and divisive theory.

“It is designed to look at everything from a ‘race first’ lens, which is the very definition of racism,” Rep. Don Jones, R-Freeport, said in a statement announcing the bill. “CRT claiming to fight racism is laughable. Students should not be asked to ‘examine their whiteness’ or ‘check their privilege. This anti-American doctrine has no place in Ohio’s schools.”

California Churches Win $2M in Legal Fees in COVID Closure Lawsuits

The state of California has reached settlements in two cases that challenged restrictions on religious gatherings during the coronavirus pandemic and will pay over $2 million in legal fees to two churches, according to a report.

The Golden State has also agreed that any restrictions it orders for church gatherings won’t be greater than those it imposes on retail businesses, Fox News reported.

San Diego area South Bay United Pentecostal Church and Kern County Catholic priest the Rev. Trevor Burfitt separately sued Gov. Gavin Newson for barring indoor religious gatherings while stores and public transit were able to operate at limited capacity, the outlet reported.

South Bay United’s case moved all the way up to the US Supreme Court, where it won in February with the court finding that the state violated the First Amendment, according to the report.

Ex-San Francisco Official Arrested for Allegedly Trying to Rob Man of Potato Chips With Knife

The disgraced former director of San Francisco’s Public Works Department was arrested for allegedly trying to rob a man of potato chips with a kitchen knife, police sources said Thursday.

Mohammed Nuru, 58, allegedly whipped out the weapon and demanded the unnamed worker’s bag of snacks at a food bank at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday — prompting the victim to flee and call 911, a city police source told the The Post.

Nuru has claimed that he “meant it as a joke,” the police source said.

Former CDC Director Received Death Threats From Fellow Scientists Over Lab Leak Theory

Dr. Robert Redfield was the CDC director during the Trump administration. Someone in that position was demonstrably qualified to opine to media outlets like CNN about where the COVID pandemic started from.

But today we’re learning that even the scientific community was contentious over who said what about the matter. Especially about publicly entertaining the “lab leak” theory as being a feasible option.

In an in-depth expose published by Vanity Fair, the outlet collects and lays out the most comprehensive version of events (thus far) about the origins of the COVID pandemic.

The summation of it involves elements of the various theories that have been floating around on social media. However, the persistent theme throughout the article is that the scientific community self-censored for the sake of social insulation.

Georgia Board of Education Debates Limits on Critical Race Theory, Passes Resolution

ATLANTA — Georgia’s Board of Education adopted a resolution that would limit discussions of race in the classroom.

Thursday afternoon, state education officials plan to host a special session to consider a resolution proposed by Gov. Brian Kemp on limiting how critical race theory is taught in schools.

The resolution states in part that the board believes “no state education agency, school district, or school shall teach, or instruct” concepts regarding race in the classroom that make “an individual feel discomfort, guilt, anguish, or any other form of psychological distress on account of his or her race or sex.”

The resolution comes just a few weeks after Gov. Brian Kemp sent the board a letter saying calling critical race theory should not be taught in Georgia schools. Board Chairman Scott Sweeney says while this resolution doesn’t directly target critical race theory it does set a foundation statement that there will be no divisiveness in the classroom.

Landlords Hosed After Appeals Court Tosses Bid to Resume Evictions

Landlords across the country, the least-pitied group of Americans, were handed a loss on Wednesday after a federal appeals court in Washington DC denied a request to resume evictions amid a contentious dispute over a Centers for Disease Control (CDC) moratorium during the pandemic.

To recap, last month US District Judge Dabney Friedrich struck down the CDC moratorium on evictions, finding that the agency had overstepped its authority — yet agreeing to block her own ruling from taking immediate affect in order for the Biden administration to launch an appeal, according to The Hill.

In response, the plaintiffs — which includes the Alabama Association of Realtors and several co-plaintiffs — asked the DC Circuit Court of Appeals to lift Freidrich’s stay, which was denied on Wednesday in an unsigned order. The court added that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) had “made a strong showing that it is likely to succeed” in its appeal.

New York City Paid 114,000 Highly-Compensated Public Employees Earning $100,000+

Authored by Adam Andrzejewski via RealClear Policy (emphasis ours)

New York City had more than 114,000 municipal workers earning $100,000 or more in 2019. That is up sharply from 76,166 employees with pay exceeding $100,000 in 2016.

Data comes a year before the pandemic hit and is the latest year available.

These were not just high-level employees like agency commissioners or deputy mayors. NYC employees included thermostat repairmen making up to $198,630; regular laborers hauling away $213,169; electricians taking home $253,132; and plumbers pocketing up to $286,245.

The cost of benefits would be additional and is not included in these figures.

These large paychecks are only sustainable because Congress bailed out New York City for $4.3 billion in the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. The federal bailout more than covered the overstated deficits of the city.

Seattle Public Schools Lies to WA Dept. Of Labor and Industries About Working Conditions at K-8 Terrorized by Homeless Encampment

Following almost a year of dangerous incidents involving a homeless encampment on the campus of Broadview Thompson K-8 public school in Seattle widely covered by local and national media, Seattle Public Schools sent a letter Tuesday claiming that “We are not aware of any credible reports indicating weapons, drugs, or fighting.” This after neighbors spotted alleged sex workers frequenting the encampment over the weekend and two days before police were called to the location for a fight between residents allegedly over a firearm.

Documents obtained by The Post Millennial show that in response to a letter raising concerns of “possible hazards at Broadview-Thomson,” by the Washington Department of Labor and Industries, Benjamin Coulter Assistant Manager of Safety and Security at Seattle Public Schools responded to the inquiry with a letter which said, “We are not aware of any credible reports indicating weapons, drugs, or fighting present on Broadview-Thomson school grounds or in any workspace of the school staff. The Senate Parliamentarian Just Ripped the Heart Out of the Democrats’ Agenda

With Democrats’ slim majority in both houses in Congress and two of their own moderate members unwilling to sign off on the party’s ambitious progressive agenda, there’s yet another Democrat who may have just killed any chance of railroading legislation through Congress without casting a single vote; Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough.

And as Red State reports, she may have just “ripped the heart out of the Democrat agenda (emphasis ours).

While the Democrats have high, if not delusional hopes of fundamentally changing every aspect of American life, from federal voting dictates to essentially outlawing sub-contracting, the actual rules of the Senate have stood in their way. The filibuster, which Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema (among others who are laying low) have pledged to not touch, means that Chuck Schumer and his merry band can’t force through things on a simple 50-50 vote.

The Democrats were given a shot of life a few months ago, though, in the form of a parliamentarian ruling that Schumer claimed greenlit most of his agenda. I expressed skepticism at the time in an article discussing the infrastructure package.

YouTube Censors Brett Weinstein Ivermectin Clip

Big Tech’s social media platforms, as well as a plethora of corporate media, must still be nursing what is highly likely to feel like some very unpleasant “fresh and raw” egg on their face — after they were “forced” to take an abrupt U-turn in the wake of months of draconian censoring of any mention, and even the very possibility that coronavirus might have been human-engineered — instead of occurring naturally, randomly among China’s wildlife — as the previously approved narrative went.

What “forced” them to do it — (in reality, in a true democracy, nothing should ever be able to force a media outlet to do anything) — was the imperative of always aligning their editorial/moderation/censorship policies with a “preferred” narrative.

A French Teenager Has Attended the First Day of a Trial Against 13 People Accused of Sending Abusive Messages After She Posted Videos Criticising Islam.

Mila was 16 when her first Instagram clip went viral.

She has since received 100,000 hate messages, her lawyer says, and lives under 24-hour police protection.

Ten men and three women aged between 18 and 30 are standing trial. Eight are accused of making death threats.

Mila, who has now turned 18, is identified only by her first name in France.

Her story has revived debate about freedom of speech, as well as protection for schoolchildren from online bullying.

A schoolteacher was murdered last October close to his school near Paris, days after showing caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad to a class discussing freedom of expression.

Ahead of the trial the teenager posted a message asking for support: “Together let’s refuse to live in fear.”

Speaking at the court on Thursday, her lawyer Richard Malka said Mila’s life had been “stolen”, even though she had not “broken any law” in criticising Islam, according to French channel BMFTV.

“I can’t get over the fact that she lives as a recluse. Imagine her life, she can no longer walk peacefully, she can no longer do internships, all doors are closed to her,” he added.

Mr Malka had previously told France Info radio that all of the defendants had clean criminal records: “What is chilling and frightening about this case is that they are not delinquents or fanatics.”

He said many had expressed surprise that they could be prosecuted “for a single tweet”, even if they had used a fake name online or a VPN (virtual private network) to mask their internet address.

In October, a 23-year-old was sentenced to three years over online death threats against Mila…

“The fight against political Islam is an important task. Such a thing should also be available in Germany,” the member of the Bundestag told Junge Freiheit.

Hungary Arrests Islamist Terror Suspect Targeting Euro 2020: Media

Hungarian counterterror police say they’ve arrested an Islamist terror suspect who plotted to attack mass events, including the Euro 2020 football tournament venue in Budapest, local media reports.

The 21-year-old man was “a completely average young Hungarian” who identified as an Islamist, Janos Hajdu, head of the counterterror police tells reporters.

The man, a university student in Budapest, communicated on websites containing “explicit jihadist propaganda” linked to the Islamic State about how to carry out attacks, says Hajdu.

“He committed to making a pipe-bomb and using it at a mass event, in Budapest or elsewhere in Hungary… in the near future,” says Hajdu.

The man had also discussed driving a car into a large group of people, says Hajdu, without elaborating.

[COMMENTS: Hungarian state media reports that, according to the prosecutor, the 21-year-old planned to carry out terror attacks which “aimed at intimidating the population of Europe”. The suspect also wanted to “die as a martyr at the end of a devastating terrorist attack”. So Koran 8:60 and 9:111 may come into play here.

He is a university student and the son of a renowned lawyer; and he is not a ‘migrant’ but a Toronto-born ethnic Hungarian convert to Islam who has lived in Hungary. Therefore the usual leftist excuses about Jihad-terror allegedly caused by poverty or the lack of education or integration are refuted here by reality.

The fact however, that the Hungarian media calls the Jihadist an ‘Islamist’ is disturbing and signals the stealthy advance of civilizational Jihad in the country.]

Hungarian Islamist Wanted to Become a Suicide Bomber

[Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)]

A 21-year-old Hungarian student who claims to be an Islamist was preparing a series of terrorist attacks in Hungary. He wanted to blow up a big event and also planned to drive a vehicle into the crowd. He already had ideas about the location of the attacks. The suspect lived in Kecskemét, grew up in a “normal” family but converted to Islam. He swore allegiance to the Islamic State and wanted to die a martyr at the end of a devastating terrorist attack. He was captured by the TEK, M1 News reported.

The Counter-Terrorism Centre (TEK) deployed armoured vehicles and drones on Tuesday in Kecskemét to capture a Hungarian man who claimed to be an Islamist and was planning to carry out an explosion.

The TEK decided to launch the operation after the man announced he was planning to carry out terrorist attacks in Hungary on an Islamic State-linked website. The whole area was closed off for the duration of the operation, even residents were not allowed to enter. The SWAT team was also prepared to defuse a possible booby trap, so they took a bomb-detecting robot with them.

TEK reconnaissance teams had been monitoring the 21-year-old university student’s online activities for weeks. He was an active participant in several Islamist forums on the Internet. On these forums, in addition to jihadist propaganda, they exchanged views on how to prepare for terrorist attacks and the tools, methods and materials needed to carry them out.

“The young man undertook to make an assembled pipe bomb and to use it on Hungarian territory in a mass event that could be linked either to Budapest or to another part of Hungary,” said János Hajdu, TEK Director General.

The man also made preparations to carry out his plan: he ordered devices suitable for making pipe bombs on the Internet. He also planned to drive a vehicle into the crowd.

“There are also several instances, in the talks, of ramming, i.e. running into a crowd with a car, and he is adamant that he wants to commit another one, he does not draw a parallel between the two events, so he is not talking about this or that, but about both, he wants to commit both,” added János Hajdu.

The planned terrorist attacks had no predetermined date, but the TEK said the man planned to carry them out in the coming weeks.

After his arrest, the man was interrogated at the Metropolitan Investigating Prosecutor’s Office and taken into custody. He is suspected of planning to carry out terrorist acts in Hungary which, according to the prosecutor’s statement, could intimidate the population of Europe.

“The Metropolitan Investigating Prosecutor’s Office interrogated the man as a suspect on suspicion of multiple counts of manslaughter and the preparation of a terrorist act with the misuse of explosives, and at the same time proposed the arrest of the man,” said Bettina Bagoly, spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Prosecutor’s Office.

The court ordered the arrest of the man on Wednesday afternoon. The investigating prosecutor’s office is continuing to investigate the case in cooperation with the Counter-Terrorism Centre. They are also looking for answers to the question whether the man involved others in his plans or received help from someone else to carry out the planned terrorist acts.

Hungary and Poland in the Crosshairs as Jourova Threatens Rule-of-Law Financial Sanctions Later This Year

Talking to journalists in Luxembourg, Vice President of the European Commission for Values and Transparency Vera Jourova has signaled that a decision regarding an official guidance for the interpretation of law-and-order proceedings is expected by the end of summer or the beginning of autumn.

As Remix News reported earlier, according to a compromise agreement between the European Commission and the Hungarian government, the distribution of European development funds cannot be tied to political criteria. However, according to signals coming from Jourova and other European Commission representatives, the Commission is intent on circumventing this principle in order to use EU finances to put political pressure on defiant member states.

Hungarian Police Foil Terrorist Attack by Young Hungarian Islamist

The intervention unit of Hungary’s Counter Terrorism Center (TEK) took a 21-year-old Hungarian convert to Islam in custody on Tuesday after he planned to bomb Puskas Stadium, the venue of the June Football European Championship, daily Magyar Nemzet writes.

According to a statement issued by the Budapest Prosecutors’ Office, which arrested the man on Wednesday and charged him with preparations for terrorist attacks, the young man — a resident in the central Hungarian town of Kecskemét — planned to use pipe bombs at the Puskas stadium and also wanted to ram a vehicle into the holiday crowd at Lake Balaton.

The video triggered massive outrage on social media, with users tagging the Chief Ministers and administrative higher-ups and calling upon them to take exemplary actions against the perpetrators. Condemning the attack, the Indian Medical Association wrote to Home Minister Amit Shah and demanded immediate strict action on the culprits.

Malaysia: Woman Criticizes Islam on Video, Police Move in

A glimpse into the future of the West. This is where the Left’s “hate speech” rhetoric is tending. We are very close to this now, far closer than most people realize. Supporters of the President are defamed and smeared now, but for years, critics of jihad terror and Sharia oppression of women and others have been routinely excoriated, vilified, demonized, deplatformed, and shunned by all decent people. What is the next step? This. Remember: Biden has pledged to combat “hate speech,” which is any speech that those in power dislike, and a member of his transition team wants to outlaw desecration of the Qur’an. As the movement for criminalization grows, so will violence directed at transgressors. We are far closer to this than most people think.

Chinese Press: Country Must Prepare for Nuclear War With the US

US President Joe Biden’s order to the US intelligence agencies to redouble their efforts to investigate the origin of the coronavirus in Wuhan appears to have angered Xi Jinping’s government, resulting in the Beijing press writing that “China must prepare for a nuclear war with the United States”.

China’s Global Times columnist Hu Xijing wrote that China is currently “strategically restrained and would have indicated that the country should increase its nuclear capabilities to withstand the United States” in a possible conflict. He wrote:

“We have many urgent tasks, but one of the most important is to continue to rapidly grow the number of nuclear warheads and strategic missiles, such as the long-range Dongfeng 41.

We must be prepared for a high-intensity confrontation between the United States and China, at which point the large number of DF-41, JL-2 and JL-3 missiles will be the backbone of our strategy.

Our nuclear missiles should be so large that the American elite trembles at the thought of a military confrontation with China.”

Former MI6 Head Warns China Will Have Had Lab Leak Evidence “Destroyed or Made to Disappear”

The former head of British intelligence agency MI6, who previously said he believes the coronavirus outbreak originated from a lab leak in Wuhan, has warned that it may be too late now to hold the communist state accountable because it will have probably destroyed all the evidence.

Speaking on a London Telegraph podcast, Sir Richard Dearlove lamented that the paper trail of ‘gain of function’ research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology will likely be gone now.

“We don’t know that’s what’s happened, but a lot of data has probably been destroyed or made to disappear so it’s going to be difficult to prove definitely the case for a gain-of-function chimera being the cause of the pandemic,” Dearlove noted.

Retired Senior Military Officer Says Biden Administration Replacing White Americans With Migrants

A retired senior military officer who sits on the advisory board of the United States Military Academy at West Point has accused the Biden administration of intentionally flooding the country with migrants to increase the political power of the Democratic Party.

While speaking on a New York radio program weeks ago, Colonel Douglas Macgregor suggested that the current left-wing administration is bringing in millions of migrants in order to tip the country’s demographic balance to help the Democratic Party consolidate power.

“The idea is that they have to bring in as many non-Europeans as possible in order to outnumber the numbers of Americans of European ancestry who live in the United States. That’s what it’s all about. And I don’t think there’s any point in questioning it. That is the policy. It is a deliberate policy to enact demographic change,” Macgregor said when asked about the situation at the US-Mexico border.

European Parliament Could Adopt Radical Pro-Abortion Resolution in June

The European Parliament may adopt a radical pro-abortion resolution this month that would even force doctors opposed to abortion to perform the procedure against their religious or moral conscience, news and opinion portal Mandiner writes.

The draft decision, which was tabled on May 25 and will be put to a vote in the first third of June, was submitted by Predrag Fred Matic from Croatia. The aim of the document is to recognize the “right to abortion” throughout Europe, and to classify the refusal of doctors on grounds of conscience as a “refusal of healthcare”. That would mean that even if a doctor has a different view on the matter backed by deep convictions, he or she should perform the abortion. Any refusal from the doctor, based on the general logic of the legislation, would presumably lead to sanctions.

  1. Nuclear war and annihilation is preferable to globalist Communist takeover

    Guy Leven-Torres

    4th June 2020AD

I hope that a nuclear holocaust comes soon. I see the daily influx of the worst elements of the primitive Third World savagery, daily assailing our shores and the sight of these sordid creatures is dispiriting but more so is the total lack of will by a cowed European population, too cowed and fearful to challenge and overthrow our oppressors.

The migrants are thieves and cockroaches seeking to harvest what does not belong to them. Like the human locusts they are, they swarm across Europe looking for easy pickings. These Third world vermin and carrion have ruined their own backyards and now want a piece of the action, they envy in the First World. The apes are out of Africa and want to join the rest of the locusts and cockroaches in their frenzied feed.

The Johnson Government will sooner rather than later declare all private property illegal, as they have done ever where Communists have marched through our hollowed out institutions. Let’s go one step further and open all our borders and let the swarms in.

At some point we pick a fight with Russia and China and goad them into a full nuclear attack that will wipe our countries clean of the remainder of us and the disgusting verminous infestation we allowed to invade. This would be a fitting lesson to those remaining in a post nuclear world, starving to death in nuclear winter. This is where we now are at.

When such a scenario becomes attractive in preference to our current bureaucratic “lockdown” and all that means, such an end would be preferable and a lesson to the stupid oxygen thieves and “Do gooders”” that caused the end of the finest civilisation in history.. We had it all and we blew it!

And yes I am a RACIST and proud to be so!

    • Bishop, ideas always great and to the point.

It seems the only goal of democracies is to promote islam and make muslims our masters . . . and us dhimmis. It’s happening every day every hour through democracy . . . installing muslims and muslimas in high-ranking positions without qualifications . . . except their beard and niqab

Vermin and cockroaches have infested and decimated nations from Morocco to East Timor. Now we are helping them to invade the 7 continents and space too.

Her majesty’s queen-dom is disappearing fast. City after city (Birmingham, Luton, Leeds, Liverpool, …etc) are now Pakistan’s beachheads. Muslim ummah are aware of that. The oblivious infidels are in deep coma. Her majesty cannot stop this evil. The democracy started it and cannot stop it.

In their frustration they want eagerly (the west, Europe ) to create a fight with Russia. The west find it more convenient and easy to attack Russia than confronting the real aggression coming from muslims they brought here.

The west is worried about Hong Kong, human right in Myanmar, Belarus, China. Freedom of the press in Venezuela. But they don’t care about jihadis slaughtering innocents in Sweden, Nigeria, Indonesia, Pakistan, France, Pulse Club, Orlando, Manchester.

Her majesty should call the prime minister to allow zero invaders and deport the existing ones, or she should go on hunger strike and replace all traitors with patriots.

Do you remember officers in WWII would roam the back lines and look for deserters to be shot in the spot. They were traitors.
Their deserting did not cause 7 cities and 70% of beautiful (now ugly London) to be part of Pakistan.

You cannot survive without a country. A nation cannot exist without values and principles. Without strict, clear values a nation becomes hell.

Pursuing pleasure all the time is destructive. Life needs us to be serious, responsible, to be able to survive. I know that but I don’t know why.

I also know that to live is for some martyrdom. You cannot become an engineer if you don’t martyr the first 26 years of your life. The narrow path widens later.

Who would believe this horned hypocrisy.

      • People like you look to other people to save you, I have some really bad news friend, nobody is coming to save you because you won’t get up off your backsides, arm up and start doing things that need to be done, form your own :committee to start block by block and city by city. Once they finally fear you, they will respect you.
