CA News Crew Held Up at Gunpoint — During Interview With Anti-Violence Official

A Bay Area television news crew was held up at gunpoint while interviewing Oakland’s director of violence prevention — just hours after the city’s police chief warned of surging crime.

Two armed robbers tried to snatch a camera from the NBC Bay Area journalists as they filmed outside City Hall on Monday at around 3 p.m., the Oakland Police Department said in a statement.

A scuffle ensued and a private security guard — who was contracted by the news agency — pulled out a gun and told the suspects to scram.

The would-be robbers fled without the camera and no one was hurt, police said.

The brazen stick-up attempt took place during an interview with Guillermo Cespedes, head of the city’s Department of Violence Prevention, according to cops.

Critical Race Theory Dominates Oldham County School Board Meeting as Discord Continues

BUCKNER, Ky. — A week after protesters derailed a school board meeting in Kentucky’s largest district, discord around “critical race theory” dominated another school board meeting Monday.

Most of the 25 people who spoke during the public comment portion of an Oldham County school board meeting Monday evening opposed the majority-white, affluent district’s diversity efforts, falsely believing them to be “critical race theory.”

“What is equity?” one woman asked. “It is to take something where someone earned it and go on and give it to someone else.”

She, along a handful of other parents, said she will keep her son home and teach him herself.

Dozens Show Up to Last Bozeman School Board Meeting Rallying Against Critical Race Theory

BOZEMAN — It was the last school board meeting of the academic year in Bozeman — and it surely went out with a bang, going on for hours. The meeting was the first in-person in almost a year, and administrators heard from dozens of people who showed up to express their concern, mainly to talk about the district’s equity policy and critical race theory (CRT).

Twenty-three states have have either banned or proposed bans that teach the CRT curriculum, which claims racism and division are not just based on personal prejudices, but are ingrained in America’s social, legal, and political institutions

During Monday’s meeting in Bozeman, one person exclaimed during the public comment period: “This country isn’t even a racist country. We elected Obama for two terms. So anybody who has the thought that this is a racist country, that we have to get it right is a completely left associate, Marxist… I can’t even have words.”

Motorcyclist Killed in Fort Worth Road Rage Shooting Stopped Traffic, Pointed Gun at SUV Driver, Police Say

The driver of the SUV told police he shot the motorcyclist after the motorcyclist aimed a gun at the SUV driver, officials said.

Fort Worth police said Tuesday that the motorcyclist involved in a road rage incident on Interstate 35 last Friday died in the hospital after being shot by the driver of an SUV in a confrontation. Police said the confrontation happened after a near collision on the freeway.

The motorcyclist was driving in between lanes of traffic on the center white line of the highway, police said, when the SUV driver tried to change lanes without seeing the motorcyclist. The motorcyclist then parked in the road stopping traffic, got off his bike and walked toward the SUV driver with his gun drawn, officials said.

The driver of the SUV told police he shot the motorcyclist after the motorcyclist kept his weapon aimed at the vehicle even after the SUV driver told him that he had kids in the car. Instead, the motorcyclist walked toward the SUV with his gun pointed at the driver.

The SUV driver then got his own gun and shot the motorcyclist multiple times, telling officers he feared for his safety and that of his passengers, police said…

New Yorkers Who Posted Molotov Cocktail Recipe on Social Media During Protests Pleads Guilty to Civil Disorder

U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr. announced today that Ryan Howe a/k/a Rylea Autumn, 27, of Rochester, NY, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Charles J. Siragusa to civil disorder. The charge carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Brett A. Harvey, who is handling the case, stated that in September 2020, there were violent protests and riots in Rochester over the deaths of George Floyd and Daniel Prude. In addition, on September 23, 2020, the Kentucky Attorney General announced that a grand jury had declined to indict police officers in relation to the death of Breonna Taylor. In the wake of the Kentucky Attorney General’s announcement, several members of the public — including people and groups in Rochester — expressed their disagreement with the decision not to charge the officers and declared their intention to protest in the evening on September 24, 2020. Through social media, several of these individuals expressed, in sum and substance, a desire to burn down the City of Rochester. A group of approximately 250 people protested in the streets of Rochester in the evening on September 24, 2020. Rochester Police Department officers were present at the protest for the purposes of, among other things, ensuring the safety of protesters and the public, and protecting property from damage.

NSA Denies Tucker Carlson’s Claims it is Spying on Him

The National Security Agency released a statement Tuesday evening refuting rumors that it was directed by the Biden administration to spy on Tucker Carlson.

Tucker previously said during his “Tucker Carlson Tonight” show on Fox News yesterday that he was certain the Biden administration’s Department of Defense was using the NSA to spy on him and other people working at Fox News.

The NSA fired back and noted that Tucker’s assertions that people at the NSA were monitoring his private conversations in an attempt to get “Tucker Carlson Tonight” taken off the air were false. As Tucker pointed out during his show Monday, it is extremely illegal for the NSA to spy on American citizens — and as the NSA noted in its statement, it is predominantly focused on foreign intelligence issues, not what a domestic TV show host is doing.

Project Veritas Exposes ‘Illegal Electioneering’ In NYC Mayoral Race — County Interpreter Fired Within Hours

Project Veritas has discovered electioneering—attempts to sway the decision of voters on Election Day within 100 feet of polling stations—caught on camera during the Democratic primary for New York City’s mayoral race.

New York state election law 17-130(4), “Misdemeanor in relation to elections,” prohibits “[e]lectioneer[ing] on Election Day or on days of registration within one hundred feet, as defined herein, from a polling place.”

New York state election law 17-126(1) and (2), “Misconduct of election officers,” prohibits an “election officer” from revealing “to another person the name of any candidate for whom a voter has voted” or even communicating “his opinion, belief or impression as to how or for whom a voter has voted.”

An investigation by Project Veritas shows two polling station workers appearing to break New York state law on June 22, the official primary date for the city’s Democrats in the mayoral race, by offering opinions and personal views regarding specific candidates who were on the ballot for mayor.

American Professors, NGOs Participate in Muslim Brotherhood-Affiliated Conference

Israel continues to draw the ire of hateful detractors who wish to see what they perceive as the “apartheid Jewish Zionist colonial state” replaced in full by a state called Palestine.

The Center for Islam & Global Affairs (CIGA) in Turkey hosted its second international conference on Palestine from June 18-23, sponsored in part by the Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Turkish umbrella group the Global Coalition for Quds and Palestine. The program was replete with Palestinian propaganda, revisionist history, and blatant anti-Semitism and anti-Israel vitriol.

Iran: As an Anti-Christian Crackdown Intensifies, Three Men Put on Trial for Anti-State Propaganda

Three converts, originally from Fardis, are accused of educating “in a deviant way” about Islam. Their relatives live under threat. The visa of a nun working at a leprosy hospital caring for Christians and Muslims for 26 years has not been renewed. Bishop Mathieu is still waiting to take possession of the diocese.

Tehran (AsiaNews) — As Iran’s ultra-right-wing new president Ebrahim Raisi is set to make his first moves, the fate of religious freedom, especially with respect to Iran’s Christian community, is increasingly a source of concern.

According to some sources, the Islamic Republic is cracking down on Christians, as evinced by the indictment last May of three converts from Fardis, Alborz province, under Article 500 of the Iranian Penal Code.

The three are the first people to go on trial since the amendment to the law introduced last February, reports International Christian Concern, a Christian and minority rights advocacy group.

According to available information, local authorities accuse Amin Khaki, Milad Goodarzi and Alireza Nourmohammadi of “engaging in propaganda that educates in a deviant way contrary to the holy religion of Islam.”

Witnesses say that last November police raided and searched the homes of the three men and seized various religious (Christian) material.

In early 2021, the authorities questioned some family members, but the affair seemed to end there, without further development, except the three men were forced to sign a pledge not to meet in person or online.

However, the three men were recently charged and put on trial a few days ago. Meanwhile, their families continue to face threats and restrictions.

Catholics too have been subjected to repressive restrictions. Earlier this month, the authorities refused to renew the visa of Sister Giuseppina Berti, a 75-year-old nun who spent the last 26 years of her life working in an Iranian leprosy hospital treating patients…

Hong Kong Security Chiefs Get a Promotion

John Lee is now Hong Kong’s number two. Police Chief Chris Tang replaces him as secretary of security. For Carrie Lam, they played a key role in the difficult past two years. Pro-democracy activists see the promotion as the start of a “police state.” Lee and Tang had Apple Daily, the independent newspaper that closed yesterday, in their sights.

Hong Kong (AsiaNews) — China’s central government has promoted the Hong Kong officials responsible for implementing its national security law.

Secretary for Security John Lee was appointed Chief Secretary, the de facto second most powerful post in Hong Kong’s administration after Chief Executive Carrie Lam.

Lee replaces Matthew Cheung and leaves his post to Chris Tang, the police chief. Raymond Siu will take Tang’s place as the territory’s top cop.

According to state news agency Xinhua, the Chinese State Council gave the green light to the reshuffle on Wednesday, after receiving a request from Lam.

The latter stressed that the three promotions are due to the key role played by the three senior officials in dealing with the “unprecedented hardship” of the past two years…

Greg Abbott Executes a Hilarious But Completely Necessary Troll Using Biden’s ‘Stimulus’ Money

Is it possible for something to be a masterful troll but also be completely necessary at the same time? Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has given us an answer to that question.

With the Biden administration abdicating its duty to enforce border laws, causing a massive surge in illegal immigration, Texas is taking matters into its own hands. But it’s where Abbott is getting the funding that is going to turn heads.

More Than 1 Million Migrants Arrested at the US-Mexico Border Since October

More than 1 million migrants have been arrested after illegally crossing the US-Mexico border since last October, according to two US Department of Homeland Security officials, surpassing the 2019 border crisis tally with three months still left in the fiscal year.

The Biden administration has been bracing for a high number of arrests along the US southern border since early this year. In March, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas estimated that the US was “on pace to encounter more individuals on the southwest border than we have in the last 20 years.”

Supreme Court Denies Bond Hearings for Illegal Immigrants Who Return After Being Deported

The Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that illegal immigrants who reentered the U.S. without authorization after already having been deported are not entitled to bond hearings.

A 6-3 decision split between the court’s conservative and liberal justices held that a federal statute requiring detention for non-residents who have already received an administratively final removal order applied, even though the illegal immigrants were seeking withholding hearings to keep them from being sent back to their countries of origin. The court ruled that because they were now facing removal based on the reinstatement of the previous final order, they were not entitled to a hearing to argue for release.

“I am challenging now Priti Patel, come and visit Dover, come and visit Dungeness, come and speak to these people who have to deal with this every single day,” Mr Farage said on Monday afternoon.

DuckDuckGo is Now the Second Most Popular Search Engine in the West

DuckDuckGo is one of the privacy-focused alternatives to Google’s massive ad business operation taking place under the guise of a search engine.

Regardless, Google Search has for years if not decades been the most widely used search tool, at least in the western world. Installed and integrated into every Android device and made default even in Google’s rival browsers, the search market is an effective monopoly that’s a very hard nut to crack.

However, DuckDuckGo is now reporting that it has seen significant growth, both in terms of numbers and market status, having had over 50 million app downloads over the last 12 months — which is said to be more than in all previous years put together.

French Parliament Finally Passes Bill Allowing IVF to Lesbian Couples and Single Women

Lesbian couples and single women in France are set to celebrate a milestone on Tuesday when parliament finally passes a bill giving them access to fertility treatment for the first time.

Under current French law, only heterosexual couples have the right to access medically assisted procreation methods such as in vitro fertilisation (IVF). Lesbian couples and single women who want children have to travel abroad for IVF using donor sperm.

That is set to change under the new legislation introduced by President Emmanuel Macron’s government.

Gender-Neutral Option Added to Wisconsin Birth Certificates

Parents will have new, gender-neutral options for identifying themselves on a child’s birth certificate in Wisconsin starting July 1, Governor Tony Evers and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services announced Monday.

Starting July 1, birth forms will also begin using “parent giving birth” as opposed to the term mother. This is a move backed by the Biden administration, who also prefers the term “birthing person” to mother.

Skiff is a Privacy-Friendly Alternative to Google Docs

There’s certainly a market for it, and it won’t stop growing any time soon — for a privacy-first alternative to Google Docs, that is, one that promises features like expiring links, secure workspaces, and password protection.

Skiff — founded in March 2020 — is reported to be one such alternative, touting end-to-end encryption as its selling point, just as more and more people are beginning to question the wisdom of allowing an ad business-driven and prone to political pressure behemoth like Google control every aspect of their online lives — from browsing, search, the most most popular video platform (YouTube), the most popular mobile OS (Android), all the way to the most widely used real-time collaboration platform (Google Docs).

UN Racism Report: States Should ‘Deliver Redress’ Including Reparations, Says Human Rights Chief

The U.N. human rights chief, in a landmark report launched after the killing of George Floyd in the United States, is urging countries worldwide to do more to help end discrimination, violence and systemic racism against people of African descent and “make amends” to them — including through reparations.

The report from Michelle Bachelet, the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights, offers a sweeping look at the roots of centuries of mistreatment faced by Africans and people of African descent, notably from the transatlantic slave trade. It seeks a “transformative” approach to address its continued impact today.

World Economic Forum Makes Censorship Pledge to “Tackle Harmful Content and Conduct Online”

The World Economic Forum, an international group that works to “shape global, regional and industry agendas,” has formed a new “Global Coalition for Digital Safety” that’s made up of Big Tech executives and government officials and intends to come up with new “innovations” to police “harmful content and conduct online.”

The scope of so-called “harmful” content that will be targeted by this Global Coalition for Digital Safety is far-reaching and encompasses both legal content (such as “health misinformation” and “anti-vaccine content”) and illegal content (such as child exploitation and abuse and violent extremism).

    • Yes but we know all this. We have known everything from the beginning. There is nothing left to know. Time for non Muslim nations governments to do what needs to be done to crush these suicide bonkers before we get it.

      • Arm up and start getting busy, quit looking to the right and left of you for someone to take a stand, it begins with you.

  1. Just when you thought the US Congress couldn’t go any lower or get any more loathsome, they acceded to this atrocity.

67 traitorous Repubicans voted with their Demo-Commie colleagues to desecrate our Capitol and remove all the statues of anyone who was a member of the Confederacy.

How stupid and mean spirited can you get? At this point, nobody knows.

The purge by the Bidenista Junta is relentless and never ending.

After seeing President Trump’s rally last Saturday it is clear that he is the President in Exile and the drooling idiot who sits eating ice cream in the White House is nothing but a hologram placeholder for the Marxists who are running things.

Our Republic cannot survive 2-4 years of this horror. There will be nothing left.

    • Our republic was dead a generation ago. My opinion was that it was put on this path more than a century ago during the Wilson administration, when the amendments for the income tax and direct election of senators were put in place. Also, he presided over the passage of the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote; this granting of franchise certainly hastened the downfall of our republic.

That it has managed to last so long past those mortal blows was certainly due to the much higher level of intelligence and morality of those earlier generations, and the strength of the constraints the Founders had put in place to bind the government to try and prevent what it has turned into today.

The best thing to do is hasten the end of this abomination and allow the purging of those who do not want or cannot accept the changes necessary to build a new republic. And mark my words, it will take a sea of blood and the lives of 𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 before the work to start the building of a new republic can even begin.

    • The current form of government is finished yes, you will now see a strongman take power at some point. Democracy as we know it is dead and you ain’t voting your way out of it.

  3. Australia has subsidised IVF for single women and lesbians for years. Men can’t find a woman to marry anymore.

Female suffrage. As a woman I should agree with this and did until I realised that most women “think” with their emotions and are mathematically illiterate in general. This makes them demand we bring everyone from third world countries to enjoy first world conditions without the intelligence to realise it just turns first world countries into third world countries and they are too busy struggling for their own survival to help anyone. This is what we are now seeing in the US. Flooding the US with people from the third world has meant Americans are now barricaded in their own homes and struggling to make ends meet so they can no longer help anyone.
Also, the US ,which helped the UK and Australia during WW2 is a different country to the one we see today full of third world immigrants focussed on self gratification. There is no way they will sacrifice anything to help the UK or Australia, those people are now in nursing homes and unable to fight another world war. Same here in Australia. The mass migration from the third world has brought people who have no feelings of brotherhood with the US or UK. They are from completely alien cultures ,languages and backgrounds and yes ,a different race. Has to be said. What feelings of brotherhood does a Chinese Australia have for a Latin American US? None
