A Terrifying Omen for America Under Biden Gets Even Worse

On Friday, the U.S. Department of Commerce again confirmed the ominous warning sign of inflation as the U.S. economy adjusts to global economic trends, the winding down of the COVID-19 pandemic, and President Joe Biden’s profligate government spending. While many economists and policymakers claim that the recent uptick in inflation is temporary, a recent Deutsche Bank report warned of a repeat of the 1970s.

A Stanford University professor is planning a “broad, visible and loud network” to mobilize against campus conservatives.

David Palumbo-Liu, the Stanford University professor who co-founded the “Campus Anti-facist Network” in 2017, hinted in an opinion piece this month that campus leftists would organize against conservatives at the prestigious California school.

Writing in The Stanford Daily, Palumbo-Liu lamented previous failed campaigns to pressure Stanford’s administration into censoring conservatives, including the formation of a faculty committee “to look into the relationship between Stanford and the Hoover Institution.”

Maher: ‘Outrageous’ Facebook, Google Suppressed Lab Leak Theory, ‘You Were Wrong Google and Facebook’

On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher blasted Google and Facebook for suppressing the theory that COVID-19 came from a lab, and criticized Google for admitting it tries to steer users to the CDC and World Health Organization by stating, “The W.H.O. has been very corrupt about a lot of s***, and the CDC’s been wrong about a lot of s***.”

Maher stated, “I find this outrageous. Facebook banned any post for four months about COVID coming from a lab. Of course now even the Biden administration is looking into this. Google, a Wall Street Journal reporter asked the head of Google’s health division — noticed that they don’t do auto-fill searches for coronavirus lab leak the way they do it for any other question and the guy said, well we want to make sure that the search isn’t ‘leading people down pathways that we would find to be not authoritative information.’ Well, you were wrong Google and Facebook. We don’t know. The reason why we want you is because we’re checking on this s***. He said, we want to ensure the first thing users see is information from the CDC, the W.H.O, that’s who I’m checking on. The W.H.O. has been very corrupt about a lot of s***, and the CDC’s been wrong about a lot of s***. This is outrageous that I can’t look this information up.”

Newt Gingrich: Critical Race Theory Spreading — But Parents Pushing Back and Here’s How Conservatives Can Help

Critical race theory (CRT) is now center stage in the culture war between left and right, emerging in recent months as one of the nation’s most contentious issues.

On the surface, it may seem progressives are winning as CRT infects schools across America, but the fight against this racist indoctrination is really a winning issue for conservatives.

According to CRT, racism is a social construction that pervades every aspect of American life, benefiting all White people (regardless of their socio-economic standing) at the expense of non-White people. Advocates of CRT believe the solution is to undo many of the cornerstones of American society. The theory is a form of cultural Marxism based on race rather than class.

Trudeau Government Sues House Speaker to Keep Virology Lab Docs Secret From the Public

The Trudeau government is in the midst of another potential scandal as it fights tooth and nail to protect classified documents on the firing of two scientists in Canada’s highest-security laboratory.

Dr. Xiangguo Qiu and her husband, Keding Cheng, had their security clearance revoked in July 2019 from the National Microbiology Laboratory in Winnipeg. The pair was escorted from the lab alongside a group of students from China.

In January 2021, it was made public that the pair had been fired after CSIS intervention on the grounds of shipping samples of the Ebola and Henipah viruses and sharing other information with the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China.

Having asked the Federal Court to intervene in an unprecedented move, Speaker Anthony Rota, a Liberal MP, openly challenged the federal government’s court application and the usurping of the House of Commons’ ability to demand the procurement of any documents they request.

‘In a Split-Second There Were 50 or 60 of US on the Ground’: British Rider Chris Froome Reveals Agony as Police Hunt for Female Tour De France Spectator Who Faces Up to a Year in Prison After Causing a Massive Crash With Her Placard

French police are hunting a female spectator who is on the run and faces up to a year in prison after causing the injuries of 21 riders in one of the worst-ever crashes in the history of the Tour de France, as British cyclist Chris Froome reveals the agony of the moment.

British cyclist Chris Froome went down during the incident yesterday, injuring his left side and chest although fortunately not breaking any bones.

Speaking from a hospital bed yesterday evening, Froome said: ‘In a split-second there were 50 or 60 of us all on the ground.

‘I guess that’s bike racing.’

He added: ‘I’m hoping I can still start tomorrow but at the moment I can’t put any pressure on my left leg and it’s not looking great.’

The determined cyclist managed to get back on his bike today to complete stage two of the Tour de France, pushing through the intensity despite spending several hours in hospital the night before.

Prosecutors in Brittany have launched a criminal inquiry after the unidentified female smiled to a TV camera while waving a cardboard sign with a message written in a mix of French and German to her grandparents during the first stage of the 108th Tour de France on Saturday.

The woman had her back to the peloton with the sign sticking out into the road at handlebar height — causing German Tony Martin and around 50 other riders to crash. The incident caused 21 injuries, and even forced Jasha Suetterlin of Team DSM to abandon the race.

I’ve Cracked Zodiac Killer Code, A French Engineer Claims

Merkel: EU Must Seek ‘Direct Contact’ With Putin

27-member bloc as “a united front against the provocations”

(ANSA-AFP) — BERLIN, JUN 24 — The European Union should seek direct talks with President Vladimir Putin even as it stands together against “provocations” from Russia, said Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel on Thursday. “In my opinion, we as the European Union must also seek direct contact with Russia and the Russian president,” she told parliament. “It is not enough for the American president to talk to the Russian president,” she said, stressing that the European Union too “must also create different formats for talks”. Putin and US President Joe Biden held face-to-face talks last week, in a meeting that both said could lead to a more predictable, albeit still tense, relationship. Merkel said recent events had shown that it was not enough “if we react to the multitude of Russian provocations in an uncoordinated manner”. Rather, the 27-member bloc should put up “a united front against the provocations”. Moscow is at loggerheads with a number of Western capitals after a Russian troop build-up on Ukraine’s borders and a series of espionage scandals that have resulted in diplomatic expulsions.

Show Must Go on, Say Dancing Protesters Urging Britain to Fully Reopen

LONDON (Reuters) — Hundreds of people danced and blew whistles in time to dance music on the streets of central London on Sunday, part of a protest against coronavirus restrictions that have pummelled the entertainment industry, particularly nightclubs.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson hopes to remove the remaining restrictions on July 19 after being forced to postpone a reopening this month. But Save Our Scene, a campaign group for the music and hospitality sectors that organised the protest, says lockdown curbs should end immediately.

To thumping beats played by DJs on mobile sound systems, people marched and danced through central London to parliament, paying little heed to the social-distancing guidelines aimed at curbing an increase in infections, driven by the more contagious Delta variant of the virus.

UK Actor Laurence Fox Holds Free Speech Rally, Doesn’t Dare Name the Foes of Free Speech

Laurence Fox is an actor who ran for the role of London mayor. He’s defending the freedom of speech and he is protesting the masks. He loves multiculturalism, and won’t address the problems with multiculturalism. People are saying he let Sadiq Khan win the mayoral race because Fox got around 10,000 votes, and if he hadn’t run for mayor then Khan might have lost, since he won by a tiny margin.

Fox hosted a free speech rally in Batley on June 24. The by-elections in that area are coming up, and Fox, together with George Galloway, wanted to force or shame any of the candidates from the main political parties to raise their voices in support of the schoolteacher from that area who is still in hiding together with his wife and four children after showing an image of Muhammad in class. The charges being levelled at the candidates is that they are cowards who are bowing down to the will of the Muslim mindset and its demands.

Meanwhile, students at universities have complained they have been forced to pay for tuition which has been largely delivered online and campus accommodation where they are not allowed to mix.

Vatican Launches Approval That Might Lead to EU ‘Founder’ Schuman Becoming a Saint

Pope Francis has approved a decree recognizing the “heroic virtues” of French politician Robert Schuman, known as an ‘architect’ of the EU. The official decision is one of the first steps to Schuman potentially becoming a saint.

Having served as France’s finance, foreign and prime minister after World War II, the statesman became best known for proposing economic unity among European nations in the so-called “Schuman Plan” of 1950, which eventually evolved into what is known today as the European Union. In the late 1950s, he served as the first president of what is now the European Parliament.

The Pope’s decree on Saturday declares the “heroic virtues“ of the politician, who can now be considered and called “venerable“ by the faithful of the Roman Catholic Church.

‘Mama: Send Some Money’ A Family’s Journey From Cologne to the Islamic State

Their sons moved from Cologne to the war in Syria. They kept slaves and rose up the ranks of Islamic State leadership. Their parents would send them care packages with popcorn and Kalashnikov magazines.

By Özlem Gezer, Sarah Klosterkamp und Timofey Neshitov

Excerpts from the final chat between the son and his father in the spring of 2021:

Son: Why did you make a new statement? You just want to suck up to the infidels.

Father: With children like you, who needs enemies?

Son: God shall never give you another child. You’ve embarrassed us so much.

Father: I have lost everything because of you. Do what you want, you no-good.

Son: Just you wait. I love my mother. She was always a mother. You were never there. You never cared about us. The infidels should throw you into prison, too. There are pictures of you with a weapon in your hand and an IS flag.

Father: So what?

The father is sitting at a white lacquer table and scrolling through the screenshots of the last conversation he had with his son. He says he hasn’t heard from him in weeks and that he has since deleted his number, which had been saved in his contacts for several years as “my Ismail.”

It’s an evening in April and he seems exhausted, his voice subdued. He has invited us into his living room in a Cologne suburb to talk about his sons’ ingratitude and about their mother’s mistakes. But not about his own.

Ahmet S. is 53 years old. He wants to talk about his two sons, Ismail and Emre, who became high-ranking officers of Islamic State in Syria. And about his ex-wife Perihan S., who stole from her German neighbors to support her sons’ rise…

Syria: Fr. Ibrahim on the Drama of Aleppo’s Christians

The priest tells of the difficulties of a city facing many emergencies: food, education and health for Covid. Prices are constantly rising, sanctions are inhumane and the population is starving. The goal of opening a hot canteen for the poorest. To young people: in a critical phase, getting married is “a heroic act of faith”.

Aleppo (AsiaNews) — An eductional emergency, a the food crisis, the Covid-19 pandemic, a housing problem, especially for young married couples, there are many obstacles to Syria’s possible recovery from a bloody and protracted war. Fr. Ibrahim Alsabagh, 50-year-old Franciscan, guardian and priest of the Latin parish of Aleppo, has written “Letter to friends” in which he recounts the dramatic situation facingthe population of what was once the country’s economic and commercial capital . In the letter sent to AsiaNews, the parish priest points the finger at the sanctions he defines as “inhuman” and “used unfairly” with the sole result of “making everyone suffer, especially the weakest”.

The sanctions, explains the priest, “affect the correct functioning of hospitals and medical equipment, paralyzing” health care. Added to this is the “lack of electricity” which today leads to “not being able to turn on an air conditioner or a fan”, just as in winter “it is not possible to turn on the heating”. “The reality — he continues — is slowly worsening and becoming more and more oppressive, making living conditions very difficult”.

Prices, continues Fr. Ibrahim, “they are constantly rising and the population is starving”. An example is the price of fruit and vegetables, with seasonal products “inaccessible” for the poorest. “Imagine — he writes — that half of an employee’s monthly salary is not enough to buy pasta and vegetables”. In response, the Church “has returned to promoting the distribution of food parcels or to pay small amounts of money to contribute to the purchase of groceries”. And the next goal is to “open a hot canteen” for the homeless or the elderly most in need.

As in the rest of the country, in Aleppo the situation remains critical more for hunger and lack of work than for Covid-19. As denounced by personalities of the Syrian Church, including the apostolic vicar of Aleppo and the Maronite archbishop of Damascus, the Caesar Act, which affects the population along with inflation, has also worsened the ordinary punitive measures. A situation that gives even more value to the soli.darity of Pope Francis, with his appeals for peace.

In a period of global emergency triggered by the coronavirus, Aleppo and Syria “have received a limited number of vaccines”, accuses the priest, and the sick “prefer to die at home, without saying they are infected, also because they have no money to pay for the care”. “Unfortunately — he continues — we have new infected, and therefore new deaths, very few immunized people”.

The pandemic emergency is also linked to the closure of schools “for two years now” and to an “increasingly serious” educational emergency. Also skyrocketing “rental prices” for houses and apartments, “and Christian families, especially new ones with children, live in rented houses and have a very limited number of resources”.

For the future, the priority of pastoral action is aimed at young people and married couples in a historical phase in which “getting married is a heroic act of faith”. “Since these young people are our future — concludes the priest — they have become our priority: they are among those most in need of material and spiritual assistance, so that they can feel loved, supported, safe and for this reason they are not alone” . From Gethsemane to St. Anthony of Padua, patron saint of the province of the Middle East, passing through St. Francis, from their example we find the strength to continue the mission

India: Mass Conversion Racket: Umar Gautam Reveals How They Targeted Non-Muslim Girls From Rural Areas as it is Easier to Lure, Brainwash Them

Earlier this week, the Uttar Pradesh ATS busted a massive ISI-funded conversion racket after it arrested Maulana Mohammed Umar Gautam and his accomplice Mufti Qazi Jehangir from Delhi for allegedly forcing over 1,000 people to adopt Islam. The duo, who ran an organisation named Islamic Dawah Centre (IDC), along with their other associates, were charged for mass conversion of people into Islam through inducements such as marriage, job and money and mental pressure.

The two accused, who are in seven-day custody remand from Wednesday (June 23), are being interrogated by the ATS regarding their conversion programmes and their links with Pakistan’s ISI, among other things.

Now, according to a report by Hindi daily Amar Ujala, the ATS has confirmed that during their interrogation the duo has disclosed yet another modus operandi of their mass conversion racket. They have revealed that they targeted girls in the rural areas as they were easier to prey on.

The False Claim That ‘Muslims Are Being Lynched in India’ And the Facts They Keep From You

We received an interesting reply to one of our articles yesterday. When we reported about the Muslim preacher Mohammad Umar Gautam, who has been arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terror Squad for running a religious conversion outlet, one Twitter user claimed, “They are already lynching Muslims on streets with impunity, don’t make their situation worse.”

We found it incongruous that in a country where a Muslim preacher, supported by politicians and industrialists, openly holds congregations to convert non-Muslims to Islam, Muslims are being lynched on the streets, and that, too, with impunity. But we believe in giving a fair chance to all claims and so did some research, and this is what we found.

‘In China, The State Uses it for Intelligence Purposes’: TikTok Whistleblowers Raise Concerns Over Chinese Government Access to US User Data

Former employees that worked for TikTok, the app widely popular with American teens and young adults, expressed concerns to CNBC over the Chinese parent company ByteDance, and how they gather and handle American users’ data.

Over concerns about national security risks associated with the app and its parent company, former President Donald Trump moved to either ban the app, or force the company to merge with a US based one.

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo warned that the app may be “feeding data directly to the Chinese Communist Party,” although the app has denied these claims, telling CNBCthat “we have never provided user data to the Chinese government, nor would we do so if asked.”

President Joe Biden revoked Trump’s ban on the app in June, but issued criteria for the government to evaluate the risk of apps connected to foreign adversaries.

“Beat, Raped, And Left for Dead”: The Persecution of Christians, May 2021

The following are among the abuses inflicted on Christians by Muslims throughout the month of May 2021:

The Slaughter of Christians

Uganda: On May 3, hours after Pastor Thomas Chikooma engaged in a public debate about Islam and Christianity, Muslims severed his tongue and beheadedhim. The well-known pastor, father of 11, had planted 50 churches in eastern Uganda. During the open-air event, to which Muslims had invited him, he used the Bible and Koran to make his points. He won over several people — including six Muslims, who went on to convert to Christianity — prompting angry Muslims in the crowd to cry “Allahu Akbar,” prompted the pastor and his young son to rush away from the event.

eBay Bans Dr. Seuss, Allows Hezbollah

Words and images that offend someone are just like violence. At least that’s the modern safetyism argument. But the symbols of an Islamic terrorist organization are the symbol of someone else’s freedom fighter.

eBay is very careful to keep the marketplace safe from things that might offend crybullies.

Online marketplace eBay Inc. said it is working to prevent the resale of six Dr. Seuss books that were pulled earlier this week by the company in charge of the late author’s works because they contain offensive imagery.

There’s no room for And To Think I Saw It On Mulberry Street on eBay. Hezbollah though is another matter, as Aussie Dave at Isreallycool notes.

In January of this year, reader Craig noticed that an eBay seller named rentonstore was selling Hizbullah items — things like patches, flags and hats, which glorify the antisemitic Islamic terrorist group.

The liar cheat and thief with the repulsive posh accent. The funny looking sabre rattler snaking around Russian waters. A bit scary really considering?

  2. Re Nathan Allen
I have a sneaky suspicion that he was “encouraged” by a three letter agency.

Such an incident so short after the sentencement of Chauvin.

That reminds me of a german saying (translated into english): Keep the iron hot.
