Biden Takes Heat for Using Word ‘Latinx’ In Explaining Why the Population is Slow to Get Vaccinated

President Biden is facing a firestorm of criticism that he is “racist as it gets,” after he claimed Thursday that “Latinx” people are less likely to get COVID-19 shots because “they’re worried that they’ll be vaccinated and deported.”

The 78-year-old commander-in-chief made the eyebrow-raising claim in North Carolina after he’d already confused the Tuskegee Airmen — the heroic African American pilots of World War II — with the victims of the infamous decades-long Tuskegee syphilis study.

In Affluent Williamson County, An Uproar Over Critical Race Theory

Amid uproar over Williamson County Schools’ curriculum, Senate Majority Leader Jack Johnson is questioning the district’s Wit & Wisdom reading program and whether it teaches critical race theory.

Johnson, a Franklin Republican whose children attend system schools, said this week he reviewed a large part of the Wit & Wisdom curriculum and found items that are “very problematic and certainly not age appropriate, if appropriate at all.”

Great Minds’ Wit & Wisdom, which received failing grades from initial reviewers of the state textbook commission but finally passed muster with the Education Department with waivers approved by curriculum Commissioner Penny Schwinn, is under attack from a parent group called Moms for Liberty

“I think there certainly are elements of the Wit & Wisdom curriculum that could be construed as being aligned with critical race theory,” Johnson told Tennessee Lookout.

Report Finds UFOs May be Security Risk, Have No ‘Single Explanation’

Is the truth out there? Maybe.

A long-awaited US government report on UFO sightings released Friday was largely inconclusive, describing the more than 140 strange objects seen by military personnel across the nation as a threat to flight safety and possibly national security, but adding that there was no “single explanation” for their appearance.

The nine-page public report from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) said the lack of “high-quality reporting … hampers our ability to draw firm conclusions about the nature or intent” of the unidentified objects, but concluded they were likely physical in nature since they were picked up on radar and other sensors.

Trump Blasts Biden DOJ Amid Lawsuit Against Georgia Voter Integrity Law

Former President Donald Trump released a statement lambasting the politicization of the Department of Justice, following the announcement of a lawsuit against the state of Georgia over a recently passed election reform bill.

“The right of all eligible citizens to vote is the central pillar of our democracy, the right from which all other rights ultimately flow,” Attorney General Merrick Garland said in a statement announcing the decision.

“This lawsuit is the first step of many we are taking to ensure that all eligible voters can cast a vote; that all lawful votes are counted; and that every voter has access to accurate information.”

In his statement, Trump slammed the Justice Department for filing the suit and urged Peach State residents to sue their representatives.

“Biden’s Department of Justice just announced that they are suing the Great State of Georgia over its Election Integrity Act,” his statement began. “Actually, it should be the other way around! The PEOPLE of Georgia should SUE the State, and their elected officials, for running a CORRUPT AND RIGGED 2020 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION — and for trying to suppress the VOTE of the AMERICAN PEOPLE in Georgia.”

CIA Tip-Off Led to Arrest of Hungarian Would be Islamist Terrorist

The young man who was arrested by Hungary’s Counter-Terrorism Center on June 1 on suspicion of planning attacks during the Euro 2020 football tournament in Budapest was apprehended thanks to tips from the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Hungarian tabloid Blikk reports.

The authorities have charged him with preparing to drive a truck into the crowd at the European Football Championship — held partly in Budapest — and he also wanted to detonate pipe bombs filled with nails.

According to Blikk, the young man, who was raised in a wealthy family, was unmasked during a CIA operation. One of the agency’s intelligence agents infiltrated a dark web group, and his work was so successful that the CIA managed to liquidate an entire Islamist cell. The revelation of the suspected Hungarian terrorist plot was an ancillary benefit to the main goals of the CIA’s operation.

PM Orban: New Hungarian Law Protects Children and Parents

The new Hungarian regulation is about how the child becomes acquainted with the otherwise difficult and complicated issue of sexuality, and the law helps the parent make that decision for their own family. That is why it is a child and parental protection law, Prime Minister Viktor Orban emphasized in Brussels on Thursday, ahead of a two-day meeting of EU leaders.

Orban was speaking as he arrived to the summit and met his Visegrad Four counterparts, Slovak Prime Minister Eduard Henger, Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis and Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

Answering a question from journalists, Orban said, “It is an honor for Hungary if any prime minister or a president of the European Council is interested in a Hungarian law.”

“I would love to tell them that there is no question of any law that would apply to homosexuality. This law is not about this, this law is about the upbringing of children, the upbringing of any sexual content,” he said, adding that “it’s always better to read something first and only then react to it; that’s the right order.”

Romania Gives Donald Tusk Highest Civilian Award

Romanian President Klaus Iohannis awarded European People’s Party President Donald Tusk the highest civilian honor, the Grand Cross of the Order of the Star of Romania.

While Hungary, with the EU summit at full steam in Brussels, had not yet reacted to the news, the award can be construed as an insult directed at Hungary, given that the very same Iohannis stripped a prominent ethnic Hungarian clergyman and politician of the Star of Romania for alleged “anti-Romanian” activities.

Another New Scientific Study Concludes COVID Originated in November 2019, Before Wet Market Cases and Exact Same Day Lab Workers Got Sick

Scientists at the University of Kent in the UK have published new research that concludes it is most likely the virus that causes Covid-19 was circulating in Wuhan in November 2019, or even weeks earlier in October, before any cases linked to the Huanan wet market were reported in December 2019.

The research, which used methods from conservation science, according to reports, finds that the most probable date of the emergence of the virus was November 17, 2019.

The paper notes that SARS-CoV-2 could have first appeared from early October and concludes that it had already circled the globe by January 2020.

Rights Group Covering Xinjiang Internment Camps Moves to Odysee After YouTube Censorship

After facing months of censorship at the hands of tech giant YouTube, Atajurt Kazakh Human Rights, a channel that shares testimonies from people who say their families are imprisoned in Xinjiang’s internment camps, has embraced Odysee — a decentralized video sharing platform that’s built on the LBRY blockchain

The channel has published close to 11,000 videos on YouTube and racked up over 120 million total views on the platform. Many of its videos feature the testimony of people talking about relatives who have disappeared in China’s Xinjiang region — an area where human rights groups estimate up to one million people may have been detained in camps.

Scientists Say Newly Discovered ‘Dragon Man’ Species is Likely Our Closest Ancestor

Meet “Dragon Man,” a member of a newly discovered species of human who could be our closest ancestor.

Scientists announced Friday that a mammoth fossilized skull — discovered at the bottom of a well in northeastern China in 2018 — could be more closely related to modern humans than Neanderthals, Agence France-Presse reported.

The so-called Harbin skull was reportedly first discovered in the 1930s in the Chinese city of the same name in Heilongjiang province — but was then hidden for about 85 years to protect it from the Japanese army.

It was later dug up and handed over in 2018 to Ji Qiang, a professor at Hebei GEO University.

On Friday, scientists made the thrilling announcement in a new study that the well-preserved cranium belonged to a previously unknown species of ancient human who lived in East Asia at least 146,000 years ago.

Video: Scalise Charges Democrats ‘Trying to Cover Up for China’ on COVID Origin

Minority Whip Steve Scalise has slammed Democrats in the House for failing to hold hearings relating to the origins of the pandemic, noting that without subpoenas it is near impossible to get health officials to turn up to any Republican led hearing.

“[N]ot a single hearing by Speaker Pelosi in the House on this. It’s like they’re trying to cover up for China instead of getting basic answers that we all ought to want to find the truth about,” Scalise charged during an appearance on Fox News.

He continued, “We should be trying to get the answers to this. We are trying to get those answers. And if they don’t allow hearings, it’s hard to get those answers. Because those officials don’t come in.”

Talk about rubbing it in.

The very scientists who were manipulating coronaviruses to make them more deadly to humans are set to be rewarded.

Illegal Migration Into Europe is Surging Again

Illegal migration into Europe has massively increased following a relative slowdown in 2020, according to reports.

Migration pressure is up substantially in virtually every region of the European frontier, according to the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, also known as Frontex.

“The number of illegal border crossings at Europe’s external borders in the first five months of 2021 reached over 47,100, 47% more than the total from a year ago when irregular migration dropped due to travel limitations linked to the outbreak of COVID,” the agency reported this week, citing “preliminary calculations.”

Italy: Ten Sentenced to Up to 11 Yrs Over Migrant NGO Scam

Woman ‘managed system’ to make profit out of emergency

(ANSA) — Milan, June 23 — A Milan court on Wednesday sentenced Daniela Giaconi to 11 years in jail for “de facto” managing an alleged “system” based on four NGOs that forged documents to manage the reception of hundreds of migrants, who were given very little because the defendant’s only interest was to “make a profit” out of the migrant emergency.

Giaconi was arrested on July 2, 2019.

The court also sentenced nine others to terms of up to eight years and six months in prison in the same case.

Nearly nine million euros were seized by authorities.

The charges pressed after an investigation led by prosecutor Gianluca Prisco were criminal association, fraud against the State, and money laundering.

Twice as Many Illegal Migrants Along ‘Balkan Route’ This Year

Vecernji List newspaper reported on Thursday that the number of people illegally crossing the external borders of the European Union in the first five months of this year reached 47,100, an increase of nearly 50% compared with the same period last year.

On the so-called Balkan route, 14,734 illegal attempts to cross the border were reported this year, or 104% more than at the same time last year. The Western Balkan countries reported 2,900 such attempts in May, which is twice as many as in May 2020.

Croatia lies on the Balkan route, and the majority of migrants come from Syria and Afghanistan, using it as a transit country on their way to other destinations in the EU. Even most asylum seekers, who arrive in Croatia from refugee camps in Greece and Italy under an EU relocation programme, eventually leave the country. Figures show 67 or 26.4% out of 250 migrants having stayed in Croatia.

Slovenia is reported to have returned 9,871 illegal migrants to Croatia last year and 607 in the first four months of this year. In the first quarter of 2021, 3,267 migrants illegally crossed the Croatian border, which is the same as in 2020, while compared with May 2019 their number increased by 17%. Most illegal migrants come from Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is finding it increasingly difficult to cope with the burden of migration, Vecernji List reported.

VP Harris Met by Protesters in El Paso: ‘Kamala, You Came a Little Too Late’

Vice President Kamala Harris was met by protesters in El Paso, Texas, upon arriving for her first trip to the southern border since President Biden tapped her to address the “root causes” of the ongoing crisis.

Upon her arrival, however, the vice president was not met with open arms.

Instead, the vice president was met with protesters waving flags and holding signs supporting former President Trump as well as blasting “Que Mala” — a Spanish phrase meaning “how mean” — for making a “wrong turn” and informing the vice president that El Paso “isn’t Europe.”

Other signs asked Harris how many “little girls need to be raped” before the administration declares the border crisis a “crisis” and if the vice president could “hear their screams.” Another sign said the “spirit of America starts at the border.”

“Kamala, you came a little too late. We have had this crisis for years,” Republican congressional candidate Irene Armendariz-Jackson said in an El American video report. “We need solutions, we don’t need you parading around the border patrol station or acting like you care.”

She was arrested and charged under the Section 27 of the Communications Act 2003, which prohibits the posting of grossly offensive content.

During a recent interview with Smosh co-founder and YouTuber Anthony Padilla, YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki revealed how large corporations use their power and influence to shape the platform rules that impact smaller creators.

Wojcicki was asked by Padilla why YouTube allows “edgier or even straight-up lewd content” to stay monetized and top YouTube’s trending tab if it’s in the form of a music video while “demonetizing and blacklisting the same type of content otherwise.”

  1. “The last three Jewish families in Yemen were deported by the Iranian-backed Houthi rebels, leaving only four elderly Jews in the country, the London-based Saudi daily Asharq Al-Awsat reported over the weekend.” Could this set a precedent? Maybe we could use it to deport Muslims from all western countries.

    • Deport?? That would break the banks of Europe if they were to try, this will have to be done the good ole fashioned way, the point of a gun or bayonet. When they turn our major cities into war zones, nobody is going to give them any quarter nor mercy, the smart ones will flee back to where they crawled out of, the rest will perish.
