Jew-Hatred on the Streets of the Netherlands

In the following video four Dutch politicians discuss recent street demonstrations in Amsterdam that supported the Palestinians and Hamas in their conflict with Israel. As might be expected, overt Jew-hatred was a feature of those demonstrations.

The four politicians interviewed are (in order): Tunahan Kuzu of the Islamic-Turkish party Denk, Geert Wilders of the Party for Freedom (PVV), Jasper van Dijk of the Socialist Party (SP), and Derk Jan Eppink of JA21*.

Video transcript:

00:00   Mr. Kuzu, are you shocked at everything that was shouted on the street in Amsterdam last Sunday?
00:05   Look, I have heard that there were often calls that Palestine must be free,
00:10   and I am a huge advocate of that. I have also received
00:14   via a number of media organizations that some improper things were uttered,
00:18   uh, that I wouldn’t say, and that I distance myself from and reject.
00:24   From Khaybar to calling for what I know are terms that make us think of
00:28   the most frightening pogroms against Jews in the past.
00:31   Well, I have looked at that with concern, because not everything being shouted was OK.
00:38   The battle cries to kill the Jewish race are, you know…
00:41   How does that end up here?
00:44   You are better informed than I am, because last Saturday
00:49   I was also at a demonstration. I have since heard via Twitter, via social media,
00:54   that there were also a number of chants that I would absolutely not support,
00:58   but what I mostly heard during the demonstrations was that there must be peace,
01:02   that there must be resistance against apartheid,
01:06   that there must be resistance against the occupation, and in this sense, I am against hateful,
01:11   anti-Semitic chants that you will not catch me in,
01:16   but when people go around the bend, I think that is absolutely [unintelligible].
01:21   People who come here, they must realize that they must obey the law,
01:26   And anti-Semitism is forbidden. Thus, if you do not comply,
01:30   then you must be held accountable. That this is so striking, I find unacceptable.
01:36   Yet, Socialist Party members were there, for example?
01:39   Yes, surely not as a national party. Look, each person
01:42   is free to go there, as far as we are concerned, and has the right to demonstrate,
01:46   but we as SP, as a party, did not call for and have nothing to do with the demonstrations.
01:50   Amsterdam, Oslo, Stockholm, Brussels, Rome, Paris,
01:55   London, Berlin,
01:58   in all of Europe, we saw what has all come out of the recesses and corners
02:03   from all neighborhoods and all the cities, and
02:07   some people came with Palestinian, Turkish, and all kinds of flags,
02:11   hate against Israel and anti-Semitism
02:15   and against the Jewish people, supposedly standing up for the Palestinians.
02:22   Aside from the fact that everyone has the right to demonstrate, for sure, when it comes to
02:26   something as violent as the war that is now taking place between Israel and Palestine…
02:31   Between Israel and Hamas. —whereby Israel clearly is the dominant party —
02:36   look at the number of dead victims on both sides.
02:40   When Ben Gurion became the prime minister, the first thing he did was to ensure
02:44   a good defense and create the IDF.
02:48   Yes, good. So everyone has the right to demonstrate, anti-Semitism is reprehensible.
02:53   …Be awake and protect our civilization and stand up for our freedom.
02:57   We lost that. That is what this is. It is a much bigger problem
03:01   than the Palestinian-Israel conflict. It is
03:05   a conflict of civilizations, the result of mass immigration.
03:08   Against whoever is against our freedom, and we are losing.

  1. Gert is absolutely right, this barbaric demonstrations are unacceptable, this is via mass destruction illegal Islamic invasion to Europe, in millions of military age savages, terrorists by Merkel&CO mostly , it is disaster what this old ugly rug (Merkel&CO) did to this beautiful continent..

  2. If the Jews of Europe do not flee at this time, the way will be shut shortly for the muslims will take out their agression on them first. The writing is on the wall my Jewish friends.
