“Free Speech” Lawyer Argues “Lying” Should be an Impeachable Offense

As the threats to free speech wage on, a law professor has suggested that lying by the President should be made an impeachable offense. However, the truth can be subjective, especially on controversial topics such as COVID-19, which has scientific arguments so contradicting.

According to Catherine Ross, a law professor at George Washington University, former President Donald Trump “has highlighted for us why lies in the public arena are so dangerous and also why the president’s lies are so much more dangerous and significant.”

Alleged Times Square Shooter Nabbed in Florida After 4-Day Manhunt: Officials

Each of the victims — a 4-year-old girl from Brooklyn, a 43-year-old woman from New Jersey, and a 23-year-old woman visiting the city for Mother’s Day — suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds

The man suspected of opening fire in Times Square Saturday night, wounding three bystanders, including a 4-year-old girl, has been apprehended in Jacksonville, Florida, two law enforcement officials confirmed to News 4 Wednesday.

The officials say Farrakhan Muhammad had been with his girlfriend, who is now being questioned as investigators look into whether she was knowingly helping to harbor a fugitive. The two apparently left New York City together after the shooting, according to one senior law enforcement official, though it’s not clear if the woman knew he was wanted in the Times Square shooting at this time.

According to the senior law enforcement official, NYPD detectives checked cameras that showed him leave Times Square after the gunfire and go to a hotel on West 42nd Street. There he changed clothes and was seen leaving with his girlfriend, the senior law enforcement official said…

When she is asked to repeat the statement, she proudly clarifies, “I can’t wait until black people lynch white people.”

Biden Nominates Globalist to Head State Department’s European and Eurasian Affairs

US President Joe Biden has nominated Karen Donfried as assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs in another signal that Biden’s foreign policy will take an anti-nationalist, globalist approach.

Political analyst John Fonte, program director at the Washington Hudson Institute, told Magyar Nemzet that Donfried’s nomination could signal a return to the Obama administration’s European policy. Donfried will be the direct superior of the yet to be nominated Budapest ambassador and reinforce the vehemently anti-Orban foreign policy line represented by Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland.

Company Continues Operating Pipeline Through Michigan Despite Governor’s Order

A Canadian energy company is continuing to operate a pipeline through Michigan despite Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s (D) order to shut down.

Whitmer on Tuesday ordered Enbridge Energy to stand down its oil and gas pipeline, Line 5, by May 12, saying that the pipeline in the underwater section of Line 5 is too risky to keep operating.

“These oil pipelines in the Straits of Mackinac are a ticking timebomb, and their continued presence violates the public trust and poses a grave threat to Michigan’s environment and economy,” Whitmer’s office said at the time.

But the pipeline still continued operating, according to The Detroit Free Press.

Man Pleads Guilty to Damaging Police Car, Assaulting Horses During Pittsburgh Protests

PITTSBURGH — A 25-year-old Crafton man pleaded guilty to damaging a police vehicle and assaulting police horses during last year’s Pittsburgh protests.

Raekwon Blankenship will be sentenced on Aug. 12. He is the first person to plead to charges related to the May 30 protests that sparked rioting and looting through Downtown Pittsburgh following the death of George Floyd.

Investigators said he was seen at the protest holding a stop sign and using it hit mounted police units. He allegedly then threw it “javelin style” into a police cruiser’s windshield. Police also said he jumped onto a department’s SUV after throwing the sign. That was the same SUV that was set on fire a short time later.

Policies Adopted by State’s Attorney in Baltimore Follow Other Like-Minded Prosecutors

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Baltimore’s City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby claims to be a leader in criminal justice reform, but many of her policies and actions follow what other so-called progressive prosecutors have already implemented across the country.

In March of 2020, Mosby said she would stop prosecuting what she calls “minor crimes” which includes trespassing, prostitution and certain drug crimes.

But the policies seem to copy a social experiment being carried out by like-minded prosecutors in a few other major cities across the country.

“If a civil war breaks out, the military will maintain order on its soil because it will be asked to do so,” stated the letter.

While much of the French establishment dismissed the letter as the work of a political faction of right-wing extremists within the military, Le Pen took the side of the dissenters.

Is There a Secret Society of Masons in Italy Appointing Powerful Judges?

Last year, in the light of the scandals involving Italy’s Governing Council of the Judiciary (CSM), the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella denounced “the inadmissible confusion between politicians and magistrates” as well as the “degeneration of the system of currents”. He was then referring to the political currents existing within the CSM, which are linked to the way judges and prosecutors are appointed by the different currents that are present in the National Magistrates’ Association (ANM).

Mattarella then called for an in-depth reform of the CSM, which is responsible for guaranteeing and supervising the independence and impartiality of the Italian judicial system. As of today, that reform is still awaited despite the very serious scandals that have exposed the political activities of networks of magistrates (judges and prosecutors) passing through the CSM to put right-wing leaders such as Silvio Berlusconi and Matteo Salvini out of action through legal proceedings.

But while waiting for this reform to come about, a new scandal has just erupted following evidence of a secret Masonic lodge involving Italian elites coming to light. Members of the CSM, magistrates, politicians, and officials from the Guardia di Finanza (a militarized police force under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy and Finance), and members of the police allegedly belong to a lodge called “Hungary” — not a reference to Viktor Orban’s homeland — but to a square in Rome where its members are said to have held their meetings, at the home of an important magistrate. It is within this lodge that the appointments and dismissals of magistrates in Italy are decided, it is said.

UK: Met Police Break Up Waltham Forest Illegal Rave With ‘500 People’ As Officers Attacked

Police officers were attacked with fire extinguishers, bottles and tyres during an illegal rave with more than ‘500 people’ in Waltham Forest.

The party-goers barricaded themselves in a building with metal and wooden structures in an attempt to stop the force from disrupting the rave during the early hours of the morning (Wednesday, May 12).

But police officers from the Metropolitan Police as well as Waltham Forest district officers attended the illegal rave and managed to get in.

They stormed the building to put an end to the Covid rulebreakers’ party.

But upon entry, police officers were met with a flurry of party-goers who attacked them with fire extinguishers, bottles and tyres for around two hours, the force says.

Israel Vows to Increase Gaza Strikes Until There is “Total, Long-Term Quiet” Amid Barrage of Palestinian Rocket Fire

Gaza City — Rockets streamed out of Gaza and Israel pounded the territory with airstrikes early Wednesday as the most severe outbreak of violence since the 2014 war took on many hallmarks of that devastating 50-day conflict. As CBS News senior foreign correspondent Elizabeth Palmer reported on Wednesday, what began weeks ago as protests in Jerusalem over restrictions at a major Muslim holy site and the planned eviction of Palestinian families has morphed into a new war.

And on Wednesday, there was no end in sight. Israel’s Defense Minister said the attacks on armed groups in Gaza were to be stepped up, to bring what he promised to be “total, long term quiet.”

Gaza’s Hamas rulers and other militant groups have fired barrages of hundreds of rockets that at times have overwhelmed Israel’s missile defenses, causing air raid sirens and explosions to echo across Tel Aviv, Israel’s biggest metropolitan area, and other cities…

Israeli Airstrikes Kill Senior Hamas Figures

Israeli airstrikes leveled two high-rise facilities in Gaza that housed Hamas facilities, as well as residential apartments and businesses. In response, hundreds of rockets were fired from Gaza into Israel, with some traveling as far north as Tel Aviv. Panel Says WHO Could Have Saved Over 3 Million Lives by Recommending Border Controls Earlier

An independent panel has ruled that the World Health Organization, which in January 2020 suggested it was racist to impose border controls to stop the spread of COVID-19 , could have saved over 3 million lives if it had recommended travel restrictions earlier.

The panel has released a report entitled ‘COVID-19: Make it the Last Pandemic’ which concludes that the month of February was “lost” because most countries failed to stop the international flow of people coming from heavily infected regions.

“The situation we find ourselves in today could have been prevented,” said panel co-chair Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, adding, “It is due to a myriad of failures, gaps and delays in preparedness and response.”

The report notes that Chinese doctors reported cases of unusual pneumonia in December 2019 and yet on January 14, the WHO amplified Chinese state propaganda that there was “no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission” of the virus.

He added that he was discussing the development within his CSU and the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) joint federal parliamentary group in the lower chamber of the Bundestag “because unregulated migration must be prevented from taking on alarming proportions again”.

Southern EU Countries Unable to Cope With Migrant Influx, Ask Brussels for Help

Thousands of migrants from North Africa are heading to Italy, and Southern European countries do not have enough capacity to handle the crisis, leading them to plea for help from the European Union.

Despite the dire situation, the solidarity of the member states on the topic of immigration continues to weaken. Now, Rome is looking for an arrangement similar to the agreement with Turkey, which will involve paying off the Libyan government to keep migrants from reaching Europe.

These days, thousands of immigrants are arriving at the Italian shores, and the situation in the Mediterranean is becoming serious. For example, 2,100 refugees from Africa arrived on the island of Lampedusa in a single day. The capacity of the local reception center is only 200 beds. Immigrants arriving from Libya and North Africa live in unsatisfactory conditions on an old ferry.

Free Speech Friendly Discord Alternatives

As Big Tech companies have continued to mass censor public social media platforms and used their algorithms to manipulate the posts that users see, the popularity of community chat apps has soared.

Unlike most of the major social media platforms, where algorithmically curated newsfeeds and recommendations determine what users see, the content in community chat apps is driven by the users. Users create or join a server or room that aligns with their interests and then start chatting with other like-minded users in real-time.

Yet despite becoming the most popular app in a sector that’s driven by free-flowing conversations, the community chat app Discord has started to restrict what users say on its servers and used censorship buzzwords such as “hate speech” and “misinformation” to shut down several popular communities.
