Flock to the Mosque and Ask for the Vax!

A mosque in Cologne affiliated with Ditib (Turkish-Islamic Union for Religious Affairs, Turkish: Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı; German: Türkisch-Islamische Union der Anstalt für Religion) is making free “vaccinations” against COVID-19 available to people who otherwise wouldn’t qualify for the jab. The demand for the vax is considerable — in the video below, the socially-distanced queue of supplicants runs all the way around the block. It’s not clear how many of them are Muslims, since kuffar are given special dispensation to enter the mosque for this festive occasion.

Many thanks to MissPiggy for the translation, and to Vlad Tepes and RAIR Foundation for the subtitling:

Video transcript:

00:00   In the Ditib central mosque in Cologne
00:03   there was a special vaccination campaign against the Corona virus.
00:07   Every citizen could be vaccinated without booking an appointment.
00:12   The campaign was well-received.
00:17   According to police, more than 1,000 people were waiting to enter the house of worship.
00:26   The demand is immense, and the line goes almost completely around the block.
00:30   Hundreds of people are waiting, and the first were here at around 6:30am.
00:34   They brought folding chairs with them. What’s interesting is
00:38   that most people here in the line are young. Probably between the ages of 20-30 or 20-40 years old.
00:45   People who wouldn’t have vaccination priority yet,
00:48   and apparently are taking advantage of this opportunity.
00:54   A total of 2,000 AstraZeneca vaccine dosages were made available.
00:59   A surplus from the Cologne vaccination center.
01:08   The campaign was organized by the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians.
01:16   The campaign wasn’t limited to members of the Muslim community.
01:22   Everyone can be vaccinated, while the supply lasts.
