20 States Now Have Constitutional Carry
Tennessee joined 19 other states that allow constitutional carry when Gov. Bill Lee signed Senate Bill 765/House Bill 786 into law earlier this month. The measure takes effect July 1, applies to law-abiding citizens 20 and older, and a provision includes those serving in the military who are 18 to 20 years of age.
“This bill is a great step forward in the advancement of self-defense rights and Second Amendment freedoms for all Tennessee gun owners,” said NRA-ILA Executive Director Jason Ouimet. “It simply means law-abiding Tennessean’s no longer have to pay a tax to exercise the right of self-protection.”

Brainerd Man Sentenced to 4 Years for Fire at Floyd Protest
MINNEAPOLIS — A Brainerd man who pleaded guilty to helping set fire to a Minneapolis police station during protests over the death of George Floyd was sentenced Wednesday to four years in federal prison.
Dylan Shakespeare Robinson, 23, was also ordered to serve two years of supervised release and pay back $12 million for damages that resulted from the May 2020 precinct fire. Robinson pleaded guilty in December to one count of conspiracy to commit arson.
A federal complaint accuses Robinson of lighting a Molotov cocktail that another person threw toward the Third Precinct headquarters. In addition, Robinson and others allegedly tore down a fence that surrounded the building.
Three other people have pleaded guilty in federal court for their roles in the precinct fire and are awaiting sentencing.

CDC Releases Updated Guidelines for Fully Vaccinated Individuals
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released updated guidelines for fully vaccinated people on Tuesday.

In a ruling, the surveillance court reprimanded the FBI for multiple episodes of analysts improperly searching for data involving Americans through the warrantless surveillance program. Despite the violations, and general controversy surrounding the program, the court still re-approved it for another year.
The ruling, made public this week, and obtained by Reclaim The Net here, was made last November by the presiding judge at the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court. Judge James Boasberg, in the ruling, cited multiple instances where FBI analysts searched for information on Americans from data collected by the National Security Agency’s warrantless surveillance program.

Cuomo Announces End to Bar, Restaurant Curfew
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced on Wednesday that the curfew for both indoor and outdoor dining and bar seating will be lifted in New York City starting in May.

Judge Denies Requests for Video in North Carolina Shooting
ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (AP) — A judge has denied requests to release body camera video in the case of a Black man who killed by North Carolina deputies.
The decision came Wednesday shortly after a North Carolina prosecutor said that Andrew Brown Jr. had hit law enforcement officers with his car before they opened fire.
District Attorney Andrew Womble told a judge at a hearing that he viewed body camera video and disagreed with a characterization by attorneys for Brown’s family that his car was stationary when the shooting started.
Womble said the video shows that Brown’s car made contact with law enforcement twice before shots could be heard on the video.

Officials responded after a neighbor reported fire coming from a gas can on the front porch.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Fire Department started an arson investigation after someone lit a fire on the porch of Anthony Thompson Jr.’s girlfriend’s home, according to the Knoxville Police Department.
A KPD incident report said an officer responded to the home around 4:40 p.m. on Sunday after a neighbor noticed a fire on the front porch.
KFD was already on the scene extinguishing the fire from a gas can left on the porch, according to the report.

NYC Father Moves Daughter to Florida to Escape Critical Race Theory Curriculum
A New York father decided to pull his daughter out of a New York City private school because of the school’s woke race-based curriculum and move to Florida.
“Little children don’t need to feel bad about the color of their skin,” Harvey Goldman told Fox & Friends First on Monday. “That’s what they’re teaching them, to feel bad about who they are.”

Over 200 Seattle Police Officers Quit Amid National Protests
SEATTLE — The Seattle Police Department said more than 200 officers have left their jobs since last year.
The departing officers have cited what they call an anti-police climate in Seattle, City Council policies and disagreements with police department leadership.
Police Chief Adrian Diaz said Tuesday that the department is in what he called a staffing crisis.

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WAVY) — Protesters gathered for the eighth straight day to demonstrate in Elizabeth City on Wednesday, defying an 8 p.m. curfew set Tuesday by officials.
Wednesday’s protests started just hours after a judge ruled in Pasquotank County Superior Court that body camera footage from the fatal deputy-involved shooting of Andrew Brown Jr. last week would not be publicly released yet.
However, Brown’s immediate family will be allowed to view all footage from multiple body cameras within 10 days, which a family attorney called a “partial victory.”

UT Chattanooga Coach Who Was Fired Over Stacey Abrams Tweet is Suing
Former offensive line coach of University of Tennessee-Chattanooga (UTC), Chris Malone, is suing over wrongful termination. Malone was fired in January, following a tweet critical of Georgia politician Stacey Abrams.
“Congratulations to the state GA and Fat Albert @staceyabrams because you have truly shown America the true works of cheating in an election, again!!! Enjoy the buffet Big Girl! You earned it!!! Hope the money was good, still not governor!” Malone posted on Twitter in January.
The tweet was criticized, with critics including UTC officials, who described it as “hateful” and “appalling.”
On January 7, Malone was fired.
On April 27, he filed a lawsuit against UTC. In a statement sent to Reclaim The Net, his attorney, Doug Churdar, argued that, as a public university, UTC should respect the First Amendment.

West Virginia Governor Plans to Pay Residents Ages 16 to 35 Who Get Vaccinated
West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice announced the state will be giving a $100 savings bond to any resident between the ages of 16 and 35 who gets a COVID-19 vaccine.
Repeated polling of various demographics has shown that some groups are far more likely to express vaccine hesitancy than others. According to the polling, younger Americans are the least likely to get vaccinated.

86 Per Cent of French Say Security, Terrorism Major Issues in Coming Election
A poll released by Ifop has revealed that 86 per cent of the French public say that “security and the fight against terrorism” is an important issue for how they will vote in the 2022 presidential elections.
The Ifop poll found that of those 86 per cent, 44 per cent said “the fight against insecurity” would be “completely important” to how they cast their vote. So-called “security and the fight against terrorism as well as the fight against [crime]” are set to be major issues at the ballot box.

Europe Could Reach ‘Herd Immunity’ by August, Says BioNTech Boss
BERLIN (AP) — Europe can achieve herd immunity against the coronavirus within the next four months, the head of German pharmaceutical company BioNTech, which developed the first widely approved COVID-19 vaccine with U.S. partner Pfizer, said Wednesday.
While the exact threshold required to reach that critical level of immunization remains a matter of debate, experts say a level above 70% would significantly disrupt transmission of the coronavirus within a population.

Brexit leader Nigel Farage has said that Britain’s vaccine success demonstrates the United Kingdom is better off governing itself, predicting that the bloc’s inoculation failure spells “the beginning of the end” of the bloc.
The EU has been criticised both in Europe and Britain for the slow process of vaccinating the citizens of the bloc’s 27 member states, with drugs company AstraZeneca blaming the Commission for taking so long in signing a contract for vaccine production. German Spies Monitor Anti-Lockdown Activists for Suspected Sedition
Germany’s domestic spy agency is monitoring individuals who have joined anti-lockdown protests to decide if their rejection of government curbs amounts to subversion and incitement to violence.

Over 20 Generals and Hundreds of Officers Warn of Potential Civil War in France
An “open letter to our political rulers” published on April 21 on the website of the conservative weekly Valeurs Actuelles and signed by more than 7,600 retired military personnel, including 26 generals and an admiral, 78 colonels or their navy equivalent and hundreds of officers from the Army, the Air Force, the Navy and the Gendarmerie, warns the French political class of the risk of a civil war if the government fails to take action.
Unlike their active-duty colleagues, retired military personnel are no longer bound by the ban on making their opinions known publicly and can therefore express themselves more freely. That is why the list of signatories apparently does not include active duty officers, although Armed Forces Minister Florence Parly promised on Sunday that this would be checked and sanctions taken if it turns out that active duty soldiers are also among the signatories.
However, more than the warning by members of the military, what seems to send a wave of panic through the government and the left is the reaction of Marine Le Pen, president of the Rassemblement National (National Rally, RN), who called on the signatories of the open letter to join her in her fight.

Six Arrested in Denmark Raid for Suspected ISIS Links
Six men suspected of being members of the so-called Islamic State (Isis) group or funding it were arrested in an anti-terror raid in Denmark on Tuesday, police said.
The suspects, whose identities were not disclosed, are aged between 27 and 35, police in East Jutland said.
Two of the suspects were arrested in the Danish capital Copenhagen and the four others in Aarhus, Denmark’s second-biggest city.

Support for Giorgia Meloni’s National Conservative Brothers of Italy Continues to Rise, Polls Show
A new poll has revealed that support for the national conservative Brothers of Italy party (FdL), which is led by Giorgia Meloni, continues to rise.
The Brothers of Italy (FdI), which at the moment is in opposition to the so-called ‘technocratic government’ of Italian prime minister Mario Draghi, now finds itself less than a percentage point behind the leftist-establishment Democratic Party (PD), and is now the third most popular party in the country.
The poll, carried out by Youtrend Supermedia and Agi, places Brothers of Italy party (FdI) at 17.9 percent, nipping at the heels of the Democratic Party (PD), which scored 18.8 percent. Senator Matteo Salvini’s right-wing populist League party continues to occupy the number one position, with 22.2 percent, Italian newspaper Il Giornale reports.

Sweden Sees Surge in Fake Academic Credentials, With 60 Per Cent From Syria
Sweden has seen a surge in fake educational certificates in fields such as law, medicine, and teaching, with up to 60 per cent of the documents originating in Syria.
Investigators at the Swedish University and Higher Education Council say that since the height of the migrant crisis in 2015, there have been dozens of reports of fake educational documents, with some of the forgeries being very sophisticated.

The Left Backs PiS in Passing EU Recovery Plan in Parliament
On Tuesday, The Polish government has accepted the bill concerning ratifying Poland National Recovery Plan (KPO) to gain access to the European Union’s Recovery Fund. Despite one party in the United Right indicating they will reject the plan, the support of the Left Party means the bill has a chance at passing.
Each member state must ratify their National Recovery Plan document in order to gain access to the EU Recovery Fund, and the documented must be presented to the European Commission by the end of April.
One of Law and Justice’s (PiS) coalition partners within the United Right, Solidarity Poland, has opposed the ratification of this document. It turns out, however, that it may pass in the parliament thanks to the votes of the Left Party, which has claimed it will support the recovery plan in exchange for using the fund to fulfill a number of the party’s objectives, including more money for social funding.

UK Confirms NHS Vaccine Passport App Will be Introduced for Foreign Travel
A National Health Service (NHS) app will serve as the first vaccine passport for international travel, requiring the British public to present their coronavirus status in order to leave the country, a government minister confirmed on Wednesday.

New Zealand: Teen Trio Face-Off With Train Laden With Coal as Supporters Watch
Police have slammed the actions of a protest group after adult supporters stood watching three teens blocking rail tracks as a coal train approached.
Officers were called to the tracks by the Dunedin Railway Station at 7.44am on Thursday.
Senior Sergeant Craig Dinnissen said climate change group Extinction Rebellion was “again putting people at risk, this time 16-year-old youths … putting them on the track in hours of darkness”.
The train driver told police he did not spot the protestors “until later”.
No-one was arrested at the scene, but police were “working through that process”, he said.
The incident happened after another coal train was halted for nearly 90 minutes while four activists stood on the same tracks on Wednesday.

Jamaica: Update: 66 People Detained at Illegal Parties in Two Days
KINGSTON, Jamaica — In addition to the 34 people who were detained at an illegal party on Olympic Way, St Andrew last night, members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force arrested 32 people after they breached the Disaster Risk Management Act at McCooks Pen, Spanish Town in St Catherine on Monday.
This means that a total 66 people have been caught partying over two days, while the country was under curfew.

Denmark Blocks Convicts From Obtaining Citizenship, Tightens Other Requirements
The government has reached an agreement with the left-wing Venstre Party, the Conservative People’s Party, and the Liberal Alliance to tighten the requirements to obtain Danish citizenship. In the future, prison convicts will no longer be able to obtain Danish citizenship.
“Among the immigrants, there are some who do well, and then there are some who do poorly. We want to be sure that those who get Danish citizenship have become well-established in Danish society and have embraced Denmark — also the Danish values,” said Minister of Foreign Affairs and Integration Mattias Tesfaye.

The fatal stabbing of female police officer Stephanie Monferme in a police station in Rambouillet, south of Paris by a Tunisian man last week, cannot be qualified as a “terrorist attack” but is instead linked to jihadism, which is in turn linked to mass immigration, said French author and philosopher Eric Zemmour on the popular political talk show of French TV channel CNews.
“This is not terrorism in the traditional sense of the PLO or the Red Brigades. This is Jihadism. Since 1995, there have been 271 victims of so-called ‘terrorism’. Sweden Can Take in Far More Migrants, Says Green Party Spokeswoman
Märta Stenevi, the spokeswoman for the Green Party and minister in the government, believes that Sweden can receive “significantly more” migrants than it does today, according to statements she made on Wednesday in SVT’s 30 minutes.
“How many people come to Sweden and seek asylum is primarily about what is happening around us in the world. There are 80 million people on the run today. We cannot receive 80 million people in Sweden, but we would have the opportunity to receive significantly more than we do today. I am convinced of that,” said the minister.
Märta Stenevi was against the tightening of the migration policy that took place after the crisis in 2015.

Swiss Expert Warn COVID May Trigger Migration Wave to Europe
In addition to wars, famine and droughts, the current coronavirus pandemic could trigger a new wave of immigration towards Europe, Swiss migration expert Eduard Gnesa warns.
“Following the previous ones, Europe and Switzerland are threatened by another wave of the coronavirus, but this one is migratory in its nature,” Gnesa said.
He was director of the Swiss Federal Office of Immigration, Integration and Emigration between 2001 and 2004 and in 2009 was appointed special ambassador of international cooperation in migration. Now retired from public service, Gnesa currently owns a consultancy firm in Switzerland, KMES Partners.

A court in Mytilene sentenced a Syrian for 52 years in prison on charges of not only illegally arriving on the Greek island of Chios through Turkey, but facilitating dozens more to do the same.
The Syrian was only identified as K.S. by the court.
He entered Chios by boat with his family and up to 40 others in early March last year when Turkey incorrectly announced in late February last year that the borders to Greece were open.

Border Force agents detained more than 200 migrants attempting to cross the Channel today in nine separate incidents.
A total of 209 migrants were picked up by officers as they attempted the crossing in small boats — a new daily record for 2021.

UK: Home Office Finally to Evict Failed Asylum Seekers From Free Housing After Corona Hiatus
Failed asylum seekers in Britain will finally be evicted from taxpayer-funded housing after the Home Office paused the removal process during the Chinese coronavirus crisis.
The British government will reportedly look to remove thousands of migrants from their accommodations with the hopes of actually deporting the failed asylum seekers from the country.

Motorists were left stunned after ten illegal immigrants were hauled out of a refrigerated lettuce lorry.
Police were alerted to an Italian-registered lorry on the A24 in Findon Valley near Worthing, West Sussex.
Officers found the group of stowaways just before 7pm on Tuesday before emergency services carried out welfare checks.
The lorry driver has since been arrested on suspicion of immigration offences.

Video: African Migrants Filmed Their Journey in a Truck’s Chassis
Two African migrants who were discovered by police in the Vysocina region in central Czechia on Friday night were gambling with their health and life as they traveled hidden in the chassis of a truck. Both men, who filmed their journey on a smartphone, are now in detention facilities for foreigners.
Police officers arrested the two young men at the D1 highway rest stop in the direction of Prague where foreigners climbed out of the truck’s chassis.
They had no documents with them and could not prove their identities. The foreign police found out that they were migrants who applied for asylum in Serbia and were in the Czech Republic illegally.

Federal Court of Appeals Sides With Christian Student Group in a Case Against the University of Iowa
The 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has reversed a previous district court decision to grant qualified immunity to individuals at the University of Iowa who violated a student organization’s First Amendment rights.
Business Leaders in Christ (BLinC) is a Registered Student Organization at the University of Iowa that was founded in 2014 by students at the Tippie College of Business. In 2017 Marcus Miller, a student and former member of BLinC, filed a discrimination complaint with the University and “stated that BLinC denied him a leadership position because he was ‘openly gay,” according to the decision.
This complaint came after Miller expressed interest in taking on a leadership position within the group and told the former president that he was gay during an interview. Members of BLinC then “expressed concern about Miller not sharing BLinC’s views on the Bible’s sexual conduct teachings.”

Poland Rejects EU Mandate to Add Third Gender ‘X’ Option to ID Cards
Starting Aug. 2, a new identification card will be issued in Poland and other EU countries, with the changes representing the result of the inclusion of a new EU regulation. In its preamble, the regulation points out that choosing gender in one’s ID document is no longer required. It further states that “if a member state recognizes the gender of a certain person in such a document, it must use the appropriate values defined in the ICAO nr. 9303 documents: or the appropriate letter used in the language or languages of a particular member state.”
Polish ID cards recognize the gender of their holder, yet the Polish government has declared that it will not implement the new regulation on including an ‘X’ option.

U of Rhode Island Denounces Prof Who Won’t Subscribe to Transgender Ideology
The University of Rhode Island publicly condemned a professor who said that the LGBTQ movement is threatening free speech.
Donna Hughes — a women’s studies professor and human trafficking researcher at the University of Rhode Island — wrote an op-ed for 4W criticizing the American left’s embrace of LGBTQ ideology.
“The American political left is increasingly diving headfirst into their own world of lies and fantasy and, unlike in the imaginary world of QAnon, real children are becoming actual victims,” she wrote. “The trans-sex fantasy, the belief that a person can change his or her sex, either from male to female or from female to male, is spreading largely unquestioned among the political left.”

It used to be the natural process of the general acquisition of immunity through the spread of an infection in the community.
Now it is the acquisition of immunity by means of a vaccine.
Whoever would benefit from that?
