New Year’s Eve Carbecue Report From France

Many thanks to Gary Fouse for translating this article from Résistance Républicaine:

It burned again, the night of December 31… The riff-raff openly don’t care about Macron — who protects them

Here is a sample of cars burned tonight. Buuuttt, there were thousands of cops deployed by Macron, to do what? To watch the French who might not respect the curfew or who might celebrate New Year’s Eve in groups of more than six. The riff-raff [racailles], the usual suspects, had permission to make the French foam at the mouth. How long will this last?

Lyon

Several dozen cars set on fire in the metropolis of Lyon on New Years Eve

Lyon, Venissieux, Bron, Vaulx-en-Velin did not escape the car fires over the course of the night on New Year’s Eve. Fireworks were also thrown.

Several dozen vehicles are reported set on fire during the course of the night. In the heart of Lyon, such as in the Minguettes quarter, in Vaulx-en-Velin, Venissieux, Bron, Rillieux-la-Pape…

Some fireworks were also thrown in several places in the Metropolis, notably at Bron, only a few hundred meters from the control point set up by the Prefect and in the presence of Prefect Pascal Maillos, a little after 8 pm, Thursday 31 December.

Angers

41 cars burned during the New Years’ Eve at Angers, first responders targeted by fireworks. 41 vehicles were set on fire during the night of December 31-January 1 at Angers. Mobile gendarmes, police officers and firefighters were targeted by thrown fireworks.

Strasbourg

It is starting in Strasbourg. The riff-raff are burning cars.

Strasbourg — Some 60 cars set on fire.

Cars were set on fire in different quarters of Strasbourg, but in numbers far fewer than those of last New Year’s Eve, during the course of which, police and firefighters were violently attacked. According to a police union source, some sixty cars were set on fire. Several people were arrested by police, but the prefecture did not wish to give the number.

To prevent car fires, the police force was strengthened and parking was banned on many streets and residential zones. Several free and secured parking lots were made available to residents until January 2, and retail fuel sales were banned. “It is impermissible to have the same balance sheet as last year. We have done the maximum so that this night be better,” stated the Prefect of Bas-Rhin, Joiane Chevalie.

Bordeaux

Trash cans, cars, and buildings set on fire. There have been no injuries.

The hostilities had already started the day before in the quarter from Aubiers to Bordeaux by mortar fireworks and throwing of rocks at the police. So a hectic New Year’s Eve was to be expected in Bordeaux and its metropolis. It was.

Trash cans, some 30 cars and some buildings were set on fire at Bordeaux as well as Pessac, Begles, or on the right bank in the towns of Lormont, Cenon, and Floirac.

Nice

Support for our police and firefighters engaged this evening at #Nice06 to enforce the curfew and who are subjected to mortar fire and being stoned by thugs.

  1. Well, I mean they are French cars, right,

More cars are made in Czechia and Slovakia than France which should tell you something.
