In a speech last Friday Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador chided Facebook for its arrogance and censorship. Below are excerpts from his remarks as posted by the German-language service of RT.

And to think, that AMLO was once the darling of the Left… And now he, Merkel and French gov are outraged by the bans on Trump. Strange world we live in eh.
Despite I do not like this kind of parallelism to the Holy Inquisition, which was a legitimate power of the Vatican State in comparison; I have to admit, that the statement by the President of Mexico on the far left extremist censoring agenda, is too mild and positive, on facebook and others tech giants. “Arrogance” is not the word I would use for these criminal thugs who want to silence and outlaw everyone not lined to their “truth”.
