Analysis: Robinhood and Reddit Protected From Lawsuits by User Agreement, Congress

(Reuters) — Robinhood Markets Inc’s user agreement is likely to protect the brokerage app from a barrage of lawsuits filed by customers after it blocked a frenzied trading rally in companies such as GameStop Corp that was fueled on social media forums.

The owners of internet platforms where much of the discussion took place are likewise shielded from liability for users’ activity under a 25-year-old law known as Section 230.

At least a dozen proposed class action lawsuits accuse Robinhood of breaching its contract with customers when it restricted trading on Thursday.

39-Year-Old Nurse Aide Dies ‘Within 48 Hours’ Of Receiving Mandated COVID-19 Shot

Janet L. Moore, a nurse aide at Admirals Pointe Nursing Home (APNH) in Huron, was found unresponsive in her car outside her apartment complex on December 31 around 8:00 p.m., her brother Jacob Gregory told LifeSiteNews.

“She was coming home from work and as soon as she drove into her parking lot she passed away,” he said. “According to her neighbors she wasn’t feeling good directly after the vaccine, and then ever since the vaccine she was actually feeling nauseated, she’d have like migraines and stuff like that. And then, within 48 hours, she ended up passing away.”

When asked if he knew the brand of the vaccine, Gregory, who lives in Akron, said, “According to my brother, it was by Pfizer, but I’m not absolutely sure on that.”

Biden’s Goal ‘Is to Put Gun Makers Out of Business’

During the 2020 campaign, Joe Biden promised a long list of gun control regulations. There is a reason that Michael Bloomberg spent $125 million helping Biden in Florida and something over $600 million nationally in the general election.

The agenda includes: classifying many semi-automatic rifles and magazines holding more than 10 bullets as Class 3 weapons (which can require nine months or more for approval and a $200 fee), national gun licensing, “red flag” laws that let judges take away people’s guns without a hearing, background checks on the private transfer of guns, and bans on some semi-automatic firearms that happen to look like military weapons.

The first gun control bill that Biden will push in his first 100 days would make gun makers and sellers civilly liable for misuse of guns they sell. That means people could sue manufacturers whenever a crime, accident, or suicide occurs with a gun. We aren’t talking about cases where there was a product liability issue or where laws are violated, such as selling a gun without a valid background check. While it isn’t stated, the goal is to put the gun makers out of business.

Chicago Teacher Accuses White Parents of Trying to Kill Black People by Wanting Schools Open

A Chicago school teacher argued this week that parents who want their children to return to the classroom are little more than entitled white maniacs who are willing to gamble with the lives of minorities to further their own selfishness.

The Chicago Teacher’s Union is currently engaged in a stalemate with Mayor Lori Lightfoot and Chicago Public Schools Chief Janice Jackson, according to WBEZ-FM. Both officials have ordered the city’s schools reopened, but the union, as teachers unions do, is throwing a fit and putting kids last.

Conservatives Must Now Draw a Line in the Sand and Stop the “Great Reset”

Biden himself is not all that important; he is nothing more than a foil for bigger events and a proxy for more nefarious people. His presence signals that the “Great Reset” agenda is fully greenlit. This agenda has a pretty obvious set of goals, many of them openly admitted to by the World Economic Forum, and some of them strongly implied by the extreme political left and the media. They include:

1.   Perpetual pandemic lockdowns and economic controls until the population submits to medical tyranny.
2.   Medical passports and contact tracing as a part of everyday life.
3.   The censorship and de-platforming of all voices that oppose the agenda.
4.   Greatly reduced economic activity in the name of stopping “climate change”.
5.   Greatly increased poverty and the loss of private property.
6.   The introduction of “Universal Basic Income” in which the government becomes the all-powerful welfare provider and nursemaid for a generation of dependent and desperate people.
7.   A cashless society and digital currency system where privacy in trade is completely erased.
8.   creation of a “shared economy” in which no one will own anything and independent production is outlawed.
9.   The deletion of national borders and the end of sovereignty and self-determination.
10.   The centralization of global political power into the hands of a select few elitists.

Now, you would think that most sensible people would be opposed to such a dystopian agenda. It would inevitably lead to mass death in economic terms, as well as war. Unless you are a psychopath that gets a vicarious thrill from the brutal oppression of millions of people, or you are a globalist that stands to gain immense power, there is nothing about the Reset that benefits you.

Controversial Statue of Gandhi Ripped Down, Vandalized in Davis’ Central Park

A statue of Mahatma Gandhi that has generated controversy in Davis’ Sikh community for several years was ripped from its base in Davis’ Central Park early this week.

According to Deputy Chief Paul Doroshov of the Davis Police Department, the statue, broken off at the ankles and the top half of its head broken off, was found by a park worker around 9 a.m. Wednesday. Investigators are still unsure of when exactly the statue was torn down or what the motive may have been.

“Seeing as it’s a cultural icon to a portion of the people in Davis, we are taking it very seriously,” Doroshov said. “If anybody from the public has any information as to who did this and why, we’d really like to hear from them.”

The 6-foot-3, 650-pound bronze Gandhi Statue of Peace has stood in the park since 2016. It was a gift from the Indian government. But its installation was met with protests and outrage from Sikh residents and activists, who have accused Gandhi of genocide, racism and molestation.

Spotify Granted Patent That Allows it to Listen to Your Room, Monitor Your Emotions

Music streaming platform Spotify won a patent allowing it to listen to users’ emotions and background to recommend music. The idea is to use a person’s emotional state to recommend appropriate music. What might seem a good idea to the company is a very creepy feature for users who value their privacy.

We alerted people a couple of years ago about how this was taking place and now a patent has been granted.

The patent covers features that will allow Spotify to use speech recognition and analysis to gauge a user’s demographic attributes and emotional state. The app will also listen to a user’s background to determine where they are; taking a walk, at a party, on the bus, etc. The data the new features will allow the app to collect will help recommend the “perfect” music without requiring the conscious data input from a user.

The Marxist War on Art and America

The left’s sudden vandalizing spirit to our public memorials and landscape should not be surprising. For America’s public landscape is the treasure of all, but insofar as it tells the real story of freedom, progress, and opportunity, the left understands that it must banish or, better, destroy our statues, paintings, and all that is embodied by our public landscape.

It has been drilled into our heads, ad nauseum, that America is an irredeemably racist country, as well as sexist and economic oppressive. The 1619 Project isn’t the spearhead of this ideology. It is just the latest and most potent manifestation of an ideology that goes back to the mid-twentieth century. But the 1619 Project should be seen as a blessing in disguise for all Patriotic Americans. For it unequivocally proclaims what we must understand: The left hates America and is threatened by our memorials of love and truth.

TSA Harasses Proud Boys Chairman on Family Vacation

Enrique Tarrio, the Afro-Cuban Chairman of the right leaning men’s organization Proud Boys, was repeatedly harassed by TSA employees while attempting to travel to a regularly scheduled family vacation. Speaking exclusively and for the first time about the incidents to TGP, Tarrio told us that he was “aghast” and “shocked” by the harassment.

Apparently he was scheduled to travel a day earlier, but when he arrived at the airport to pick up his ticket at the ticket counter, the airline employee seemed confused and informed him that TSA was going to attempt to search his bags. However, Tarrio had not yet checked his bags, meaning that TSA was not able to legally force him to turn over his property without probable cause. Still, they asked Tarrio. He refused and set a flight for Thursday.

“I thought that the harassment was over. I was wrong,” explained Tarrio.

British Military Need Permits to Move Around UK Under BoJo Brexit Deals

The British military has to fill in forms and alert NATO when moving forces from one part of the United Kingdom to another under the Northern Ireland protocol of Boris Johnson’s deal with the European Union, it has been revealed.

Prime Minister Johnson’s deal, hailed as a great success because it allows free trade in goods — but not services — to continue, preserving the EU’s massive trade surplus with the UK, came at the price of continued, heavy concessions on Northern Ireland, which shares a land border with EU member-state the Republic of Ireland.

Northern Ireland, despite being an integral part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, as the name would suggest, has been virtually economically annexed by the EU, with even the British military required to fill in forms and alert NATO before moving assets there from the British mainland, because Brussels insisted this was the only way to avoid a “hard border” with the Republic of Ireland.

Icelandic Doctor Hjalti Mar Björnsson and Robert Spencer: Emergency Treatment or Intentional Negligence?

Results from a drug test, vital signs measurement of a nurse and recordings from security cameras uncover culpable negligence of the physician Hjalti Mar Björnsson and blatant distortions in his medical report.

State Criminal Investigation Police of Iceland and the Assistant Prosecutor of Police Commissioner’s Office of Reykjavik believed, based on available evidence in a criminal investigation, that two Icelanders had poisoned writer Robert Spencer with MDMA and amphetamine when he visited the restaurant Bar Ananas in Reykjavik in May of 2017. Vakur — Society for European Culture has obtained all the police reports of the investigation. This includes a Medical Certificate written by Hjalti Mar Björnsson, emergency doctor, at the request of the Police Commissioner’s Office. Almost nothing that the doctor states in his Medical Certificate about what happened is in accordance with what the criminal investigation of the Icelandic police revealed. It seems that the doctor did everything in his power to mislead the police in their investigation of the poisoning case.

Even though Spencer’s life samples tested positive for MDMA and amphetamine and Spencer showed all the main symptoms associated with poisoning due to these substances, the doctor, Hjalti Mar Björnsson, tries to convince the police that nothing of that kind had happened.

Italy: ‘Turf War Sparked Mass Youth Street Fight in Gallarate’

And jealousy over two local girls says daily

(ANSA) — MILAN, JAN 21 — A turf war and jealousy spurred by a visit to two local girls sparked the street fight in central Gallarate that involved about a hundred youths on January 8, local daily La Prealpina said Thursday.

A 14-year-old boy was hurt and a dozen youths cited after the brawl in the town north of Milan.

Witnesses cited by La Prealpina said two boys from Malnate went to see two girls from Cassano Magnago near Gallarate after meeting them on social media, sparking the jealousy of two local boys who were interested in them.

The four had an initial fight which then led to a showdown in the centre of Gallarate that youths showed up for after being alerted on WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram, the daily said.

Youth street fights are becoming ore common in Italy, and there was a deadly one near Rome in September.

The most recent big street fight too place in Rome on the night of January 4, and a 29-year-old man was arrested for going and getting a handgun to defend one of the two rival groups.

The man, who was caught after a brief chase, was charged with affray, illegally bearing weapons and resisting arrest.

The other members of the two groups managed to elude police.

Police fired two shots into the air to disperse them after spotting the man with the gun.

The fight took place in the eastern Centocelle district of the Italian capital.

Last month several youths, some with criminal records and some minors, were identified after a mass street fight involving hundreds of young people on Rome’s Pincian Hill on a Saturday night.

The dust-up, which featured gangs of youths without face masks or with their masks lowered, was reportedly arranged on social media by two girls, Rome daily Il Messaggero reported.

A pair of amateur boxing brothers were detained in the murder of a 21-year-old Italian-Cape Verdian man, Willy Duarte, in a street fight at Colleferro near Rome in September.

The Bianchi brothers, experts in mixed martial arts, allegedly killed cook Duarte because he stepped in to help a friend in a scuffle on September 6.

On October 8 President Sergio Mattarella awarded one of Italy’s top honours, the gold medal, posthumously to Duarte and another person also recently killed while trying to help others, 51-year-old priest Father Roberto Malgesini.

Malgesini, who worked to help the poor and marginalised, was stabbed to death in central Como by a homeless migrant with mental-health problems.

Duarte’s brutal alleged murder sparked calls for police to crack down on street violence, after a spate of other episodes.

With a stroke of his pen, Biden cancelled the Keystone pipeline. Result? The loss of over eleven thousand jobs. As his Transportation Secretary and former small-town mayor, Pete Buttigieg contemptuously said, in so many words, “No big deal. Let them find other jobs.”

But when Biden followed up by imposing a moratorium on new oil and gas drilling, including fracking, on federal land, this will effectively wipe out thousands more jobs in key states dependent on the oil industry.

The loss to the American economy will run into billions of dollars in oil and gas exports, higher gas prices to every American household. The loss of so many jobs will impoverish thousands of households.

The resulting rise in unemployment at a time of stringent pandemic lockdowns will clash with yet another of Biden’s blunders.

Biden’s Executive Order to open the southern border permitting tens of thousands, potentially millions, of undocumented and unverified economic migrants from central America to freely enter America at a time of rising unemployment and desperation within America, will inevitably exacerbate the sinking job market and local economies.

476,000 Israelis in West Bank in 2020

2.6% growth, settlers leader says aim is a ‘million Jews’

(ANSAmed) — TEL AVIV, JANUARY 20 — At the end of 2020, the overall number of Israelis living in the West Bank was 476,033 in about 150 settlements of various sizes.

These figures were given on Wednesday by the Judea-Samaria (West Bank) Settlers Council, noting that compared with the previous year the population in those regions had grown by 2.6%: more than in Israeli territory, where the increase in 2020 was only 1.7%.

From a sociological standpoint, settlers in 2020 included 36% Ultra-Orthodox Jews, 36% religious nationalists, and 28% of secular beliefs.

The latter are mostly in two settler cities — Ariel and Maaleh Adunim — and in the Jordan Valley, where last year there was a 5.7% development rate.

“Our aim,” settlers leader David Elhyani said, “is to reach one million Jewish inhabitants of Judea-Samaria and in the Jordan Valley. Israeli sovereignty must be extended to these zones.”

Indonesian Gay Couple Whipped for Sharia-Banned Sex

A gay couple were flogged in Indonesia’s conservative Aceh province Thursday, justice officials said, in a public spectacle lambasted by human rights groups.

The two men were whipped nearly 80 times each for having gay sex, which is outlawed in Aceh province under local Islamic law.

The pair, who were not identified, winced in pain and pleaded for the whipping to stop, as a masked sharia officer beat their backs with a rattan stick.

The punishment was briefly halted and the men, both in their twenties, were allowed a drink of water before it continued.

A Chinese Company Tried to Use COVID Testing Sites to Collect American DNA: Report

When the COVID-19 pandemic first arrived in the United States, “the largest biotech firm in the world wasted no time in offering to build and run COVID testing labs in Washington,” according to a CBS News article on Thursday.

Furthermore, the company — Chinese-owned “BGI Group,” formerly named the “Beijing Genomics Institute” — was reported to have “made the same offer to at least five other states, including New York and California.”

Generous, right? It’s always great to see the international community band together in times of crisis.

If only that were true.

New Report Finds Hundreds of Twitter Accounts Linked to China Sowed Discord Before and After Election

Earlier this month the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) John Ratcliffe issued a report stating China interfered in the 2020 election while CIA management pressured lower level analysts to discount this assessment.

It is clear that China and other countries interfered in the 2020 election. The Gateway Pundit has published numerous reports showing China’s intervention in the election.

Now this…

After COVID, Davos Moves to Great Reset

With the USA Biden Presidency, Washington has rejoined the Global Warming agenda of the Paris Accords. With China making loud pledges about meeting strict CO2 emission standards by 2060, now the World Economic Forum is about to unveil what will transform the way we all live in what WEF head Klaus Schwab calls the Great Reset. Make no mistake. This all fits into an agenda that has been planned for decades by old wealth families such as Rockefeller and Rothschild. Brzezinski called it the end of the sovereign nation state. David Rockefeller called it “one world government.” George H.W. Bush in 1990 called it the New World Order. Now we can better see what they plan to impose if we allow.

The Great Reset of the World Economic Forum is a 21st Century rollout for a new form of global total control. “We only have one planet and we know that climate change could be the next global disaster with even more dramatic consequences for humankind. We have to decarbonise the economy in the short window still remaining and bring our thinking and behaviour once more into harmony with nature,” declared WEF founder Schwab about the January 2021 agenda. The last time these actors did something at all similar in scope was in 1939 on the very eve of World War II.

Epoch Times Statement on YouTube Demonetization

On Jan. 20, 2021, YouTube demonetized The Epoch Times’ account without prior warning or specific explanation as to why.

We are confident that our independent content meets the criteria of YouTube’s platform and will work with the platform to resolve any issues.

We are concerned, however, about the direction that YouTube has taken in recent months, which appears to be to increasingly limit freedom of speech and expression.

  1. Now UK. It’s welcoming 500.00 thousands Chinese from Hong Kong , for 5 years visa permit to work and live , it’s unbelievable what is going on on the West , Europe is disappearing in front of your eyes , it’s very sad ..

    • Chances are they’re well educated, hard working, and unlikely to engage in activities that subvert our society. What’s your problem?

      • Ah, the naive civnat, civic nationalist. Do you want ethnic quotas for all jobs earning in the top 20% too?

“Hard working” is your [term that I find less than straightforward] for ambitious to gain wealth and power.

The chance that such ethnic minorities have more, rather than less, inclination to look after the health and welfare of native majorities once in power than the native Powerful ever did themselves is nil.

Consider the actions of the Lord Mayor of London Sadiq Khan and the UK politician Priti Patel or the Scottish Justice Minister of Pakistan origin, who is attempting to criminalise “racism” in private, unpublished speech.

        Kipling says it well:

        https://www.poetryloverspage.com/poets/kipling/stranger.html
        QED.

      • Agreed. Guaranteed. The CCP will do everything in its power to minimise the drain and the UK’s gain.

      • Chinese are not White. England is a White country. Do the math. Imagine 300,000 Whites imported by the Chinese government. It would never happen. Replacing a native population with another alien race is, by UN definition, genocide.

        • I am sure that in the future we will experience a horrible bloodshed.
The solution is each one of us to stay and live in one’s native country, and as soon as possible to do something to kick out of Europe the non-Christians,and non-whites.Although i think that we Europeans are able to live together without problems, but lets clean our continent first.
I am not a racist but i saw in my country that blacks and muslims have turn our lives into hell, and show an unprecedented hate towards a nation which have help them.

      • Mark H, The bloody problem is, the Chinese look after only themselves. See Singapore for reference, for they run the place, not the natives.

        • Tell that to the bleeding UK. In London just before the C19
disaster. This is an occupied city. All those a Chinese are could be challenging for the current alligators. Meanwhile – nothing.

        • I’m no expert on Singapore, but I know it seceded from the Malayan (Malaysian?) Federation at least in part because the Chinese minority was discriminated against, and it still is.

          • Singapore has the highest per capita billionaires in the world and they are all chinese and they run the place.

    • Better half a million people from Hong Kong, that are aware of tyranny, and don’t want to see it again, than half a million third worlders that want big government taking care of them with tax payer money.

      • “Better half a million people from Hong Kong, that are aware of tyranny, and don’t want to see it again, than half a million third worlders that want big government taking care of them with tax payer money” but they are getting half a million third worlders every year from Pakistan AND Chinese, not to mention any Africans and Muslims in a dinghy crossing the channel.

  2. Really? Chances are they will be thick with Chinese spies and komissars sent to spy on other Chinese. No problem?

  3. Some pernicious language of the pandemic: lockdowns & herd immunity. The term lockdown was used for prison riots. Herd immunity used to refer to general disease resistance in animal herds like Wilderbeast. Now law abiding citizens are ‘locked down’ and ‘herd immunity’ applies to human beings who have been ‘immunised’. We all use these words now with their subtly changed applications to our lives. The term pernicious applies because we are now worse off for our naive acceptance of and compliance to the narrative implicit in this newspeak.
