House Passes $2,000 Stimulus Checks But Senate Fate Unclear

The House of Representatives voted Monday to give most Americans $2,000 COVID-19 stimulus checks, but the bill may still die in the Senate.

Most Democrats and 44 Republicans supported the five-page CASH Act that President Trump requested last week. Two Democrats, 130 Republicans and both independents opposed it.

The bill would increase stimulus payments to $2,000 per adult — up from $600 in a $2.3 trillion package that Trump signed Sunday.

Hungary May Have Fastest Economic Recovery in 100 Years: Central Bank Head

Provided Hungary can achieve coronavirus immunity in the first half of the year, the country could be on track for the fastest economic recovery of the past 100 years, Central Bank Governor György Matolcsy told daily Magyar Nemzet in an interview.

“In the last ten years, Hungary has successfully reversed its (economic) history, which started well at the beginning of the 21st century and was dramatically ruined between 2002 and 2010. The success is due to the fact that, for the first time in the last hundred years, we have achieved and maintained a lasting formula for economic growth and equilibrium,” Matolcsy said.

Armed Woman Thwarts Attempted Carjacking by Four Suspects in Missouri

A woman in Missouri fended off four young carjacking suspects — including an 11-year-old boy — by pulling out a gun of her own, police said.

The would-be victim told cops in Wentzville she spotted a group of four youngsters while sitting in her car in a parking lot along the Wentzville Parkway early Saturday when one of them approached her and asked for directions, police said.

“That male subject then produced a firearm and demanded her vehicle,” police said Saturday in a statement. “The female victim produced her own firearm and refused to exit her vehicle, protecting herself and her property.”

Authorities Probing Whether Nashville Bomber Anthony Warner Blew Up Dogs

Investigators are looking into whether Nashville bomber Anthony Quinn Warner had his dogs with him when he blew himself up on Christmas Day, officials said Monday.

The 63-year-old loner was known to be devoted to his pups — even building a wheelchair ramp at his suburban home so they didn’t have to use the stairs, his neighbor previously told The Tennessean.

He reportedly told a friend that he planned to “spend a few weeks in the woods with his dogs” — with investigators now examining whether any were with him during his suicide mission.

Breonna Taylor Sculpture Smashed by Vandals in California

A bust sculpture honoring police shooting victim Breonna Taylor was smashed by vandals over the weekend, prompting a probe by Oakland police, according to reports.

The memorial, installed two weeks ago in downtown Latham Square, was smashed in several places sometime Saturday, ABC affiliate KGO-TV reported.

The bust includes a plaque that reads: “Say Her Name, Breonna Taylor,” the station said.

“At first I was stunned and shocked and hurt and angry,” artist Leo Carson, who created the sculpture, told the outlet.

Computer Repairman at Center of Hunter Biden Laptop Scandal Sues Twitter

A Delaware computer repairman who went public with the sordid contents of Hunter Biden’s hard drive is now suing Twitter for defamation — claiming its content moderation unfairly branded him a “hacker.”

In October, the Post exclusively reported on the tranche of damaging documents on the laptop which was left at John Paul Mac Isaac’s repair store in April 2019 but never collected.

The emails detailing Hunter Biden’s shady overseas business dealings are reportedly now part of a federal tax probe into President-elect Joe Biden’s scandal-scarred son but social media giant Twitter immediately blocked users from sharing it online, claiming the reporting relied on “hacked materials.”

Isaac is now suing Twitter for defamation in US District Court, claiming the company decided to “communicate to the world that [Mac Isaac] is a hacker.”

House Votes to Override Trump’s Veto of Defense Bill

The House of Representatives on Monday voted to override President Trump’s veto of a $740 billion defense bill.

The 322-87 vote easily cleared the two-thirds threshold needed to make the bill law. The Senate is expected to hold its override vote this week. It would be the first override of a Trump veto.

Trump objected to provisions that would slow a troop drawdown in Afghanistan and mandate the renaming of 10 bases that honor Confederates. He also demanded that it repeal legal protections for social media companies.

Nashville Christmas Bomber Vowed World Was ‘Never Going to Forget’ Him

Nashville suicide bomber Anthony Quinn Warner vowed to a neighbor that the world was “never going to forget” him, it was revealed Monday.

Warner, 63, made the troubling remark less than a week before the Christmas morning bombing when asked by neighbor Rick Laude if Santa Claus was going to bring him something nice, according to the Associated Press.

“Oh, yeah, Nashville and the world is never going to forget me,” Warner said with a smile, Laude recalled Monday to the outlet.

Nashville Bomber Anthony Quinn Warner Reportedly Thought He’d be ‘Hailed a Hero’

Nashville RV bomber Anthony Quinn Warner was “heavily into conspiracy theories” about 5G networks — and thought he’d be “hailed a hero” for targeting a huge AT&T network, according to a report.

The 63-year-old loner — who died in his massive Christmas Day suicide blast — may have turned against the telecommunications industry after the 2011 death of his father, who worked for a company that later merged with AT&T, a source close to the investigation told the Daily Mail.

He was believed to be “heavily into conspiracy theories,” especially over fears that 5G networks were killing people, the source said.

Nashville Bomber Anthony Quinn Warner Was Sued by Mom Over Family Home

Nashville RV bomber Anthony Quinn Warner had been sued by his own mother over their family home — which he tried to offload to avoid giving it to her, according to a report.

The 63-year-old suicide bomber and his mother, Betty Christine Lane, got into the ugly legal spat following the September 2018 death of Warner’s brother, Steven, the Daily Mail said, citing court records.

The brother, 62, had been given the family home after their 78-year-old father, Charles B. Warner, died in 2011. But upon his own death, Steven did not have a will to determine who would get the home, the report said.

The 85-year-old mom — who had divorced the boys’ father before his death — insisted the family home legally belonged to her.

Nashville Bomber Anthony Quinn Warner’s Motive Likely More About Destruction: Investigator

Nashville RV bomber Anthony Quinn Warner likely chose Christmas morning for his devastating suicide blast because his “intent was more destruction than death,” a lead investigator said Monday.

The 63-year-old loner notably blew up a number of buildings when the usually packed streets in the city’s historic downtown were mostly deserted, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Director David Rausch said on NBC’s “Today” show.

He also gave “the opportunity to clear the area” with warnings from his parked RV “that an explosion was imminent,” Rausch said of the audio that also bizarrely played Petula Clark’s classic pop song “Downtown.”

Figures on road trips aren’t available, but AAA predicted that about 85 million Americans would travel during the Christmas holiday season, most of them by car.

No Governments Have Isolated COVID-19 Virus — What Does That Mean?

It’s been ten long months since COVID-19 burst onto the world’s stage. What I present in this column will not be believed by millions of Americans. Why? Because of something called cognitive dissidence. “A term used to describe how people experience mental discomfort when faced with conflicting beliefs. If someone is presented with new information that dramatically clashes with what they believed, the person will try to explain it away or compartmentalize it so as not to deal with new information.”

While I doubt there’s any credible statistics, I would guess many millions of us experience cognitive dissidence at one time in our life. Let me give you two examples that might cause people to experience cognitive dissidence because they believed something that wasn’t true.

Is Dr. Anthony Fauci Guilty of Negligent Homicide?, Oct. 27, 2020: “In 2009, Dr. Anthony Fauci co-authored a paper about the Spanish Flu Epidemic that rated it as the most devastating modern pandemic. It swept the entire planet in the wake of the First World War and caused millions of deaths.

“In studying this major and actual pandemic, what did Dr. Fauci and his colleagues find? They discovered that most of the victims of the Spanish Flu didn’t die from the Spanish Flu. They died from bacterial pneumonia. And the bacterial pneumonia was caused by… wait for it, wait for it… wearing masks.

“The intention then, as now, was to halt the spread of the disease by wearing masks, but what actually happened was that an “unobserved” pandemic of bacterial pneumonia was unwittingly created instead.”

October 6, 2020: Medical Doctor Warns that “Bacterial Pneumonias Are on the Rise” from Mask Wearing

Americans have believed for 110 years it was the Spanish flu that allegedly killed 20 million Americans when in fact, the majority died from wearing face masks all day long, as well as deplorable hygiene. And please remember: EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE FLU OUTBREAKS ARE NOTHING BUT ESTIMATES INCLUDING COVID-19 CASES.

‘The Government Was Trying to Kill Him Anyway’: Epstein’s Fellow Inmates Claim He Was Suicidal Due to Abuse & Threats, Report Says

While in jail, sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein was harassed and extorted by other prisoners and abused by guards, which may have led him to end his own life there, a new report claims, citing accounts by his fellow inmates.

“Before he died by suicide, Jeffrey Epstein got an early taste of hell,”says the New York Daily News, claiming to have interviewed several inmates of the Metropolitan Correctional Center, where the disgraced financier was held prior to his death.

“He was saying he’s going to kill himself because the government is trying to kill him anyway,” said one inmate, whose name the paper did not reveal.

Angelique Lopez, the niece of Efrain Reyes, Epstein’s last cellmate, said that the multimillionaire sex offender “was very depressed,” according to her uncle. “He mentioned to my uncle that he didn’t want to live anymore and my uncle was telling him, “Don’t do any of this while I’m in the room.”

Prison staffers “were treating him like crap,” according to her, making Epstein sleep on the floor, and not letting him get on a bunk.

“When push came to shove, despite the legal, moral and political strength of our case, fishing was sacrificed,” Deas lamented in a St Stephen’s Day interview reacting to news that Johnson’s deal included a further five-and-a-half year “transition” for EU trawlers — on top of the almost four years they have already had since the 2016 vote to leave the EU — to plunder British fisheries, with promises of full sovereignty after this period looking increasingly shaky.

UK: Journalist Hounded After Pointing Out That Only Old and Sick Die From COVID

A British journalist has been targeted by an angry online mob after pointing out that only a relatively small amount of healthy people have died from COVID, and suggesting that the complete destruction of our way of life is not an adequate response.

Talkradio host Julia Hartley-Brewer used the National Health Service’s own statistics to point out that “Just 377 healthy people under 60 have died of Covid.”

“That’s not a typo. There are no zeros missing,” Hartley-Brewer noted urging that while it is sad, it shouldn’t justify the shutdown of the economy and the house arrest of the entire country.

UK: Parliament Needs Time to Scrutinise EU Deal Now to Avoid Being ‘Checkmated’ By Clauses in Future, Says Brexiteer

A growing number of Conservative Brexiteers are calling for the government to allow more time to scrutinise the EU trade deal before it becomes law, to avoid Brussels catching out London in “some treaty-driven checkmate position” — as it had done to Switzerland — in the future.

The deal agreed by Prime Minister Boris Johnson and the EU’s chief, Ursula von der Leyen, on Christmas Eve will come into effect at the end of the transition period, from January 1st, 2021.

Why Haftar’s Support is Crucial for the Libyan Peace Process

by Matt Snape

According to the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte is working to make peace in Libya a reality in the near future.

Specifically, Conte extended an offer from the head of the country’s presidential council Fayez Al-Sarraj, to field marshal the head of the Libyan National Army (LNA), General Khalifa Haftar. The offer asks Haftar to nominate a new prime minister for the national government as part of a political solution.

Italian diplomatic sources were quoted as saying that allowing Haftar to nominate a new leader has “a thousand flaws” as he could nominate someone who may be very good at the job, or he may choose someone weak enough to allow militia leaders to manipulate him.

Al-Serraj previously announced his willingness to resign his position when there is a new head of the council, but due to the failure to reach a consensus on who his replacement should be, he was forced to withdraw his resignation and continue his role.

A Dance Party in the West Bank Becomes the Latest Episode of Muslim Oppression of Christians

“Christians have transformed this site into a brothel,” one of the attackers shouts in this video

This year, Christmas among Palestinians appears to have been a source of unusual animosity towards Christians. The aftereffect of Hamas’s memo about Christians in Gaza and the Christmas celebration was a social media anti-Christmas campaign that culminated with the burning of Christmas trees by Muslims in the city of Sakhnin in northern Israel.

Now this anti-Christian campaign has come to the West Bank, spearheaded by Muslims from East Jerusalem, against the Nabi Musa historic structure, a site which is situated seven miles south of Jericho and twelve miles east of Jerusalem in the Judean wilderness.

A dance party was held in one of the halls of the site, hosted by a renowned Palestinian DJ named Sama Abdul Hadi. Muslims from Jerusalem responded to their discovery of the party by organizing a convoy, drove to the site, and shut it down.

Chinese State Media Operative Calls on Twitter to Shut Down President Trump’s Account

Officials in Beijing seem to be counting down the days in glee until the Trump administration is out of the White House, and somebody they clearly perceive as more friendly takes over. We can speculate on the reasons why, but the evidence is pretty strong that they are in fact eagerly awaiting this event.

It was there for anyone to see on a US social media platform like Twitter — which is not even allowed to operate in mainland China — while Beijing officials use it freely to send their messages out to the rest of the world.

Take Back Control? 2020 Saw the Europe Migrant Crisis Land on British Shores

The year in which the United Kingdom finally left the European Union was marred by record waves of illegal immigration across the English Channel, as an estimated 9,000 boat migrants landed on British shores.

A key pillar of the pro-sovereignty Brexit movement was for the British people to ‘take back control’ of their ability to determine their own laws, but perhaps just as crucially, to regain control of the country’s borders.

Curtains Close on the Vagina Monologues

The student actors of the play The Vagina Monologues unknowingly took their final bows last winter. The past sponsor of the popular show, the Women’s Resource Center, has announced that due to recent changes in its mission statement — the group was rebranded the Gender Justice Advocacy Coalition this year — it will no longer support the play.

The show is a collection of interviews-turned-narratives from people of all ages and backgrounds about their relationships and experiences with their vaginas.

“The limitations of the script, namely that it equates having a vagina with female identity, and the requirement by Eve Ensler that it remain unchanged, leaves us with an incomplete play that doesn’t honor the experiences of trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming people. It is thus hurtful, harmful and exclusionary to folks with these identities,” said Shura Gat, interim director of the Women’s Resource Center and advisor to GJAC.

  1. There was an earthquake in Ljubljana, Slovenija, at app. 12.20, on the 29th of December 2020,at twenty minutes past midday. It came from the south direction north. Hope that was the only one.

  2. UV alight and sunlight kill the virus which is why I bought one back at the beginning. Hairdressers and doctors use them to sterilise equipment. Everyone should know that. Can’t be used on people. Thailand was very clever using it to disinfect clothes between customers. Very clever people, no one here that clever.
