Airlines are on track to lose up to $157 billion between this year and next year, according to the International Air Transport Association (IATA) — a sharp increase over their June projection of $100 billion in losses they made in June for the same period.
The new projection includes a $118.5 billion deficit for 2020, and at least $38.7 billion for 2021, according to Reuters, which suggests that the bleak outlook “underscores challenges still facing the sector despite upbeat news on development of COVID-19 vaccines, whose global deployment will continue throughout next year.”

British Economy Shrinks by Most in 300 Years Thanks to COVID, Chancellor Warns
Just days after UK Prime MInister Boris Johnson confirmed that the 2nd English COVID-19 lockdown would soon come to an end (as England is expected to revert back to the tiered system of restrictions that preceded it), Chancellor Rishi Sunak on Wednesday shared some grim numbers about the state of the British economy with Parliament.
With global stocks on track to clinch their strongest monthly performance in modern history, Sunak warned that the British economy is set to contract by by more than 11% in 2020, the biggest annual contraction in 300 years — a period that has included at least one other global pandemic, and many, many wars.
It’s no secret that the UK has been one of the hardest-hit developed nations. With one of the highest COVID-19 death tolls in the world, British leaders have imposed some of the harshest restrictions on movement and businesses in all of Europe.

With traders’ eyes looking beyond Q4 GDP and to Q1 2021, where some banks such as GDP are already expecting a double dip with a —1.0% contraction forecast, few will care how or why the BEA revised its estimate of the record Q3 GDP, but for the record, moments ago the Dept of Commerce announced that in the third quarter, GDP rose an annualized 33.1%, unchanged from the first estimate released in October, and on top of consensus expectations.

“Pandemic of Crime” — LA Homicides Hit Decade Highs
This past weekend, a surge in violent crime resulted in Los Angeles’ 300th homicide for 2020, a bloody benchmark not seen since the dark days of the 2009 financial crisis, reported LA Times.
Killings have risen 25% over last year, and shootings climbed by more than 32%, reflecting a similar trend across many other US metro areas (read: here & here) as defunding the police and socio-economic implosions and the virus-pandemic have left urban areas in chaos.
LAPD Police Chief Michel Moore said, “with the health pandemic, we don’t just cross our arms and say, ‘It is what it is.’ We’re taking all types of efforts to flatten the curve, to lower the impact, to save lives. And that’s what I’m asking for us to do with this violent crime. We have a pandemic of crime right now.”

Bribed: Subverting American Universities
A recent governmental report exposes the “purchased” influence foreign nations have on America’s most prestigious universities and, as a result, on what America’s current and upcoming generations of analysts and policymakers will think and believe.
More than one-third of the nearly $20 billion in foreign donations and contracts made to American universities between just 2014 and 2020 were never disclosed as required by federal law, according to “Institutional Compliance with Section 117 of the Higher Education Act of 1965,” a Department of Education report released on October 20, 2020.
Among those “gifts” were more than $3 billion from the Muslim Brotherhood’s number one state backer, Qatar; more than $1.1 billion from the chief disseminator of “radical” Islamic ideology, Saudi Arabia; and nearly $1.5 billion from China.

Cancel Culture, Part 3: Asymmetrical Warfare
Asymmetrical warfare is exactly what is being perpetrated on America today — except the ‘formal military’ of that definition is absent. We watch television, we see people attacked and killed, buildings destroyed, parts of cities taken over by ignorant dregs of society. And we don’t see many officials doing anything to stop it. Instead, many are abetting these scumbags. Mayors are telling police to stand down; many are defunding their police departments. And now, we are seeing the brazen attempt to steal an election.
One of the most up-front examples of asymmetrical warfare is this election with:
some states not requiring voter ID, with thousands of ballots sent to the dead, who then voted — early and often, with the counting in many key places stopped at night and the watchers sent away while truckloads of ballots were brought in, and with machines moving ballots from one candidate to the other.
This was brazen, in-your-face asymmetrical warfare.
We are looking at a coup being staged via asymmetrical warfare. And watching how even intelligent people are accepting the lie that the election is so very close that we have to wait for days or longer to know the outcome.

Today in “why the Federal government and the state of California should not be in the business of capital management” news…
The infamous Scott Peterson was among other death row inmates who were able to fraudulently receive Covid unemployment benefits administered by California, according to analysis released Tuesday.
Prosecutors in California say they uncovered a “massive scam” that allowed more than $400,000 in California state benefits to be paid to inmates at San Quentin State Prison. This includes Peterson, who is famously in prison for the killing of his wife, Laci Peterson, and his unborn son.
The Los Angeles Times was the first to report the fraud, which is being called by nine local DA’s “the most significant fraud on taxpayer funds in California history.”

Facebook Comments Likely to be the Next Censorship Target of Corporate Media
Facebook is coming under a fresh round of fire from corporate media, and this time not only for content published on the world’s biggest social network and allowing users’ to have varied political and other affiliations — but also because of comments that are viewed as problematic, yet left outside of reach of fact-checkers and censorship otherwise happening on the platform.
A lengthy opinion piece in the New York Times is based on the author “borrowing” access to their Facebook accounts from two persons whom he describes as “boomers” whose conservative views changed because of Donald Trump, turning them into Biden voters, who think that having political and ideological differences and expressing them on social networks means US politics is toxic, while those platforms are polarizing.
The author’s mission was to discover what these unnamed boomers’ Facebook feeds looked, and felt like, and the verdict is that it was “a nightmare:” they are able to see posts from family and friends’ domestic life, but also pro-Trump and anti-Biden memes, “conspiratorial misinformation,” and content that doesn’t have “context.” (But that’s because they’re social media posts, rather than news articles or academic papers, and even those are hard to trust these days.)

Feces Complaints in San Francisco Drop to Lowest Level in 3 Years Amid Pandemic
The NBC Bay Area Investigative Unit analyzed 311 complaint data from April 1 to Nov. 13 and compared it to the same time period in previous years to gain insight into how the global health emergency may be impacting the cleanliness of San Francisco’s infamously dirty streets.
The data shows more calls for help to clear trash from San Francisco streets than in the previous year, but fewer concerns about feces and needles. The changes come as stay-at-home orders have reduced the total number of people on the streets, coupled with a migration out of the city by renters. In addition, ongoing services provided to the homeless may also play a role in the decreasing number of complaints, according to city officials.

Former Pfizer Science Officer Reveals Great COVID-19 Scam
Story at a glance:
There are currently no excess deaths while cases increase.
Data show many deaths — primarily people aged 45 to 65, with equal distribution between the sexes — are mainly due to heart disease, stroke and cancer, which suggests they are excess deaths caused by lack of routine medical care due to the pandemic restrictions
The PCR test is not a valid diagnostic tool and should not be done on the scale we’re now doing it. The high rate of false positives is only fodder for needless fearmongering
Virtually no one who is asymptomatic has the live virus, but when you run the test at a cycle threshold over 30, meaning you amplify the viral RNA more than 30 times, you end up with a positive test even if the virus is inactive and noninfectious
According to Michael Yeadon, Ph.D., a former vice-president and chief scientific adviser of the drug company Pfizer, very few people will need the COVID-19 vaccine as the mortality rate is so low and the illness is clearly not causing excess deaths

Former federal prosecutor Sidney Powell has been dropping bombshells like a boss over the past several days as she prepares to file what she described as a lawsuit of “biblical” proportions in Georgia, alleging massive electronic vote fraud that flipped several states from President Trump to Joe Biden.
In an interview with Newsmax TV, Powell also accused Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger of making a deal to purchase Dominion Voting Systems that included some kind of kickback on the $100 million price tag.
Asked about the state’s election results being certified for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden over the weekend, Powell blew it off.
“That’s a total farce. Georgia’s probably going to be the first state I’m gonna blow up, and Mr. Kemp and the secretary of state need to go with it because they’re in on the Dominion [Voting Systems] scam with their last-minute purchase or reward of a contract to Dominion of $100 million,” she said, going on to suggest that Georgia law enforcement officials should be investigating that.

South Carolina Man Convicted in Plot to Attack White House & Trump Tower

Your Conservative Vote Won’t Save America From Socialism!
How are the free people of America going to stop the onslaught of socialism, radical environmentalism and the move towards one-world government? If the brainwashed socialists and the radical environmentalists have the majority vote, or if they cheat to make it appear that they have the majority vote, your conservative vote can’t override their majority vote and their radical agenda prevails. Unless, the judicial system can expose the cheating and correct the vote, nothing will change. If those who count the vote are not honorable, the cheating will go on without interruption and the judicial system will be unable to expose or stop it. At that point all integrity in the American voting system will have been lost and the “good faith and credit” of the American government will have evaporated. In such event the socialist colluders and racketeers will rule.
Now that America has been fully immersed in socialism, radical environmentalism and the one-world-order for five score and ten, is there any hope of undoing what has been done, when so many American citizens have forsaken freedom and liberty in exchange for the phantom veil of government-provided security and comfort? How can we turn back the clock to a time when Americans were self-reliant instead of dependent? How do we return to a time when we took responsibility for our actions instead of being excused for them because someone convinced us that we are victims of society’s ills? What makes us think we can re-invent the past when the rule of law meant something; or when there were individuals with individual rights; or the justice system administered true justice? Why did we let America morph into a collective where only the collective has rights? That IS socialism!

The staff at Penguin Random House Canada had a meltdown at an “emotional town hall” over the company’s decision to publish psychologist Jordan Peterson’s latest book, according to Vice. Dozens of additional employees have filed “anonymous complaints”, the report notes.

Assailant in Swiss Knife Attack Was Jihadist, Say Police
A Swiss woman who knifed a victim in the neck and grabbed another by the throat in a department store in the Swiss city of Lugano on Tuesday was a known jihadist who fell in love with a militant online and tried to meet him in Syria, say police.
Federal prosecutors have called the incident in the Italian-speaking southern canton of Ticino a suspected terrorist attack and taken charge of the investigation.
“Police investigations in 2017 revealed that the woman had formed a relationship via social media with a jihadist fighter from Syria,” the Federal Office of Police (Fedpol) tweeted on Wednesday.
Turkish authorities turned her back from the border to Syria when she tried to travel there to meet the man and returned her to Switzerland at the time, it said.
“The woman was suffering from mental health problems at this time. After returning to Switzerland, she was admitted to a psychiatric clinic,” Fedpol said, adding that she had not come to Fedpol’s attention in any terror-related investigation since 2017…

Negative Mask Study Finally Gets Published
A new study showing that the recommendation to wear masks “did not reduce the infection rate among wearers by more than 50%” has finally been published in the Annals of Internal Medicine.
The study, which followed 4,800 Danish citizens in spring and early summer 2020, appeared in preprint several weeks ago, but had been largely ignored by medical journals until now. In a commentary for MedPageToday, Dr. Vinay Prasad, a physician and associate professor at UC San Francisco, said the study was most likely shunned at first because “we have such strong emotions toward masks.”
In other words, the world has become sold on the idea that masks are what make the difference in the pandemic’s spread that emotions have gotten in the way of true science and the topic has turned political. However, he added that this study is “well done, thoughtful, useful and what we need more of.”
What the study shows, he said, is that in places like Denmark with moderate transmission, “there is insufficient evidence to suggest wearing a mask as you go about daily errands will protect you from infection.

A new paper authored by Adam Smith Institute’s legal fellow and technology lawyer Preston J. But proper free speech protections should extend all the way to things that may be understood as “loathsome and hateful,” Byrne notes.

UK: Jihadi Bride’s Lawyer Admits ‘There’s Always a Possibility’ She’s a Terror Threat
Lawyer Tasnime Akunjee admits that “there is always a possibility” that his client Shamima Begum is a terror threat, but maintains the jihadi bride should be allowed to return to the UK to contest the deprivation of her British citizenship.
The remarks were made on the second day of hearings in the UK’s Supreme Court on whether the 21-year-old Islamic State member can return.

Judge Philip Katz QC said that Yanaouri “had opted to listen to ‘notorious terrorist loudmouths’ instead of genuine clerics, and was ‘brainwashed by their propaganda.’“
It would be helpful if the imam Katz would provide us with a list of these “genuine clerics,” but he won’t, of course, any more than he will explain from Islamic texts and teachings how he has come to be so sure that the Islam of the “notorious terrorist loudmouths” is a false, twisted version of the real, peaceful thing, and why this is so clear to him while it continues to elude people such as Zakaria Yanaouri, and so many others.

UK: Tory MP Rages as Police Bundle an Old Woman into a Van Protesting Outside Parliament
Tory MP Sir Charles Walker has raged at ‘disgraceful and un-British’ police officers as they bundled an elderly woman into a van for protesting outside Parliament.
Various reports said that the 72-year-old woman was participating either in an anti-lockdown protest or an anti-vaccine demonstration.
Raising the incident (in the House of Commons) as a point of order, Sir Charles told the Commons: ‘I have just witnessed an elderly lady peacefully protesting with a handful of other people be arrested and carried spread-eagle to a police van just outside the precinct of the House of Commons.
‘This is a disgrace. This is un-British. It is unconstitutional and this Government, our Prime Minister needs to end these injustices now.’

Breaking: An All-Out Assault on Baha’is Across Iran
On the morning of Sunday, November 22, in simultaneous operations in various cities across Iran, security agents ransacked the homes of tens of Baha’is. Their personal effects, mobile phones, computers, laptops and religious books and pictures were all confiscated, and in a number of cases, the agents also reportedly took away any cash they found, along with national ID cards.
The reason for this wave of raids is not yet known. According to two Baha’is whose homes were searched, the warrant only specified that it was for “searching the home and workplace and seizure of equipment.” As of now, there have been no reports of any arrests.

India Bans 43 More Chinese Apps in Latest Salvo at Beijing
India banned 43 more Chinese apps on Tuesday including some from e-commerce giant Alibaba, saying they threatened its “sovereignty and integrity” as tensions remain high between the nuclear-armed neighbours following a deadly border clash.
New Delhi previously pulled 59 Chinese apps — including the wildly popular video-sharing platform TikTok — from its huge domestic market, weeks after the high-altitude battle in the Ladakh region in June when 20 Indian soldiers were killed.

China Proposes a Global Cyberspace Community, While Chinese Citizens Are Still Heavily Censored
Simultaneously as it is keeping much of the outside internet out of the bounds of its Great Firewall, China is prepared to cooperate with other countries in order to create a common, global cyberspace community that would focus on the underlying infrastructure — which China’s leading tech companies can serve well.
The idea to build this “community” was floated in a letter penned by President Xi Jinping and read at this year’s Wuzhen World Internet Conference, reports are saying.
Now in its seventh iteration, the conference, which Beijing uses to promote and “export” its model of restricted and controlled internet, in the past saw participation from Apple and Google CEOs Tim Cook and Sundar Pichai. This year, along with representatives of Chinese giants Alibaba and ZTE, Qualcomm and Cisco CEOs Steve Mollenkopf and Chuck Robbins are also taking part via video.

Korean Air: “Real Possibility” That Airlines Will Mandate Passengers be Vaccinated Before Travel
Mirroring rhetoric from others in the industry, a spokesperson for Korean Air has said there’s a “real possibility” airlines will mandate passengers take a COVID-19 vaccine before being allowed to travel.
“South Korea’s largest airline has a similar message,” reports ABC News. “Jill Chung, a spokesperson for Korean Air, said Tuesday there’s a real possibility that airlines will require that passengers be vaccinated. She said that’s because governments are likely to require vaccinations as a condition for lifting quarantine requirements for new arrivals.”
Air New Zealand also issued a statement asserting that it would ultimately be “up to governments to determine when and how it is safe to reopen borders.”

Australian Intelligence Agencies Scooped Up Coronavirus Tracing Data
Based on what the Inspector-General of Intelligence and Security (IGIS) has found, Australia’s intelligence and security agencies may have “incidentally” collected COVIDSafe contact tracing app’s data during the first six months after its launch. These findings were all a part of the report IGIS submitted to the Australian Information Commissioner.
The report furnished by IGIS stated that the data collection may have occurred “in the course of lawful collection of other data” which also makes it permissible under the country’s Privacy Act. One of the spokespeople for IGIS told a local news outlet that “execution of warrants” could be a possible reason why COVID app data collection could have occurred.

Empty Hotels on Canary Islands Fill With Migrants After Massive Influx From Africa
The Canary Islands, which belong to Spain, are bearing the brunt of a migrant wave that is ten times larger this year than last year. In the last month alone, 8,000 migrants have arrived from Africa. Now, Madrid is under pressure to negotiate the issue of illegal migration with Morocco and other African states but refuses to move the migrants to mainland Spain.
The Canary Islands are a popular tourist destination, even during the pandemic. The disease spread much more slowly on the islands than in the rest of Spain, which was hit hard by the first and second waves of coronavirus.
In recent weeks, however, migrants have been filling accommodation capacity instead of tourists, resulting in hotels and apartments hosting about 4,000 migrants. The owners of the lodgings have been calling for the expulsion of the migrants from the islands for two weeks.

Migrant Surge Gains Momentum Via Czechia as Many Try to Reach the West Before Winter Hits
The state of emergency in spring closed borders and slowed the transit of migrants through the Czech Republic to the West of Europe. But in autumn, authorities are reporting the “usual” numbers of migrants being detained in Czechia.
Police reports flowing in reveal a surge in migrants in November. In the Ústi nad Labem region in the northwest of the country, authorities detained eight Afghans hidden in a truck in mid-November, and is the type of incident that highlights what police are facing at the moment.
“In November, we recorded an increase in the number of migrants,” confirmed Milan Mayer from the Prague directorate of the Foreign Police Service.

Migrant-Smuggling German NGOs Are Trying to Silence Free Press
The silencing of independent media critical of NGOs based in Germany is raising fears about freedom of the press in the country.
The censorship case has to do with dozens of NGO volunteers and employees who were arrested by Greek authorities in September, which were accused of espionage, ties to organized crime and people smuggling networks. As Remix New previously reported, the NGOs, some of them based in Germany and Norway, have allegedly co-ordinated their operations with Turkish people-smuggling gangs to bring over 3,000 illegal migrants to European shores, mostly to Greek and Italian ports.
Members of the pro-migrant NGOs were reportedly illegally monitoring the radio traffic of Frontex and Greek coastguard ships in order to avoid detection. In critical moments, they may have also flooded Coast Guard ship radios with false signals in order to confuse authorities. These messages must have either come from a ship or from the Island of Lesbos. There are also accusations that Greek Coast Guard communications were monitored.

Peterson Book Publisher Crying
Penguin Random House employees were sent into a tizzy by the firm’s decision to publish Canadian professor Jordan Peterson’s new book, prompting a meeting where staffers reportedly cried and demanded that the tome be cancelled.
The emotional in-house “town hall” was held Monday, after it came to light that the publishing giant is handling Peterson’s new book, due out in March 2021. Employees anonymously leaked the controversy to Vice News, which said”people were crying in the meeting about how Jordan Peterson had affected their lives.”
Another staffer argued that Peterson is “an icon of hate speech and transphobia, and the fact that he’s an icon of white supremacy, regardless of the content of his book, I’m not proud to work for a company that publishes him.” The workers also are insisting that if they don’t get their way in canceling the book, all profits from the project should be donated to LGBTQ organizations.
