Jean Messiha: “I Can No Longer Accept This Semantic Hypocrisy”

Jean Messiha is an Egyptian-born economist and politician in France. He serves as Deputy Under-Secretary for Management at the Ministry of Defense. He is also a former advisor to Marine Le Pen, the leader of National Rally.

In the following video Mr. Messiha seeks to clarify the issue of Islamic terrorism in France, and name it for what it is: violence committed in the name of Islam by Muslims, not by “Islamists”.

Video transcript:

00:00   Dear fellow citizens, yesterday in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine we crossed a new milestone
00:04   with the group of savages in our country. For several hours now,
00:08   we have been told that Islamist terrorism has struck France once again.
00:11   This is inaccurate, and I have decided to tell you what’s really happening.
00:15   For convenience, and for the well-now concern for appeasement, which we have maintained for decades,
00:20   we have created a specific and special vocabulary to describe this reality.
00:24   This created the term “Islamism”, a dialysis of Islamist terrorism,
00:28   in order to create a kind of rupture between Islam, the Muslims, and those who become deviants.
00:33   I can no longer accept this semantic hypocrisy.
00:36   Those who insult, assault, kill with Kalashnikov or knives, slaughter with bullets
00:40   or slit throats and decapitate in the name of Allah or to avenge the prophet are Muslims,
00:44   and their religion is Islam. They are, of course,
00:47   radical men and women in their expressions and actions,
00:50   but aren’t strangers to the Qur’an or the Hadith or the words of the Prophet Mohammed
00:55   recorded in the Sunna along with his actions.
00:58   By killing the unbelievers or those who insult the prophet, they carry out
01:01   what the radicals among the fundamentalists of the Muslim population around the world expect.
01:05   Today, after the barbaric attack in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, within the entire Muslim community,
01:11   you have a fringe that is repulsed by this barbarity and considers their religion tarnished by it.
01:18   A significant number believe that it isn’t right to kill,
01:21   but that it is an understandable response to a provocation.
01:25   And then there are those, a considerable number, who approve.
01:29   That’s because in the name of the Koran, those who
01:33   “attack Islam and Mohammed” should not be permitted to live.
01:37   Furthermore, in many Islamic countries, blasphemy is punishable by death.
01:43   This doesn’t exist in any Christian, Hindu, or Buddhist country.
01:47   It especially doesn’t exist in Israel.
01:50   In France, we have copy-pasted this ideological spectrum through mass Muslim immigration.
01:58   Over the years it has accumulated, and now we have established a considerable reservoir of
02:03   extremism in our country. Despite the increase of multiculturalism, these barbaric crimes are
02:11   almost exclusively committed by immigrants of the Muslim faith.
02:15   Our ruling elites won’t question the validity
02:20   of continuing migratory flows from this part of the world,
02:25   which feeds this extremism. Every time a hundred Muslims
02:30   settle in our country, twenty to thirty or more
02:35   have a radical conception of Islam. This doesn’t mean that all of them are ready to take up arms,
02:42   but certainly some of them will. No immigration, other than that of the Muslim faith, has brought
02:49   us this religious radicalism which regularly translates into acts of barbarity.
02:56   To continue to dissociate immigration from Islamic radicalism, which leads to this barbarism,
03:01   is akin to suicide, and at the very least, criminal. In any case, the issue for me isn’t about
03:06   yielding to the language codes imposed by the pseudo-do-gooders’
03:10   camp concerning those threatening France.
03:13   For me, there’s no Islamism and Islamists.
03:16   There’s a radical Islam, there are radical Muslims and Muslim terrorists.
03:20   Use the real words to describe the evil (MAUX).
03:24   That’s the beginning of the solution to save the France we love. Thank you.

  1. There is no word “Islamist” in the Manual of Islamic Law, “Reliance of the Traveller”. The word was invented for use in the West to deflect attention away from Islam.

  2. It doesn’t matter , they all savages, evils , they shouldn’t be in this country in the first place , who cares who are they I don’t, just take them out of Europe that’s it ..

  3. We will not get out of this one without a major slaughter. We had lots of timely advice and warnings that WE choose to ignore. As these are just primitive starving ideologies and savages who smell Christian and other raw meat. We are close to critical mass. What’s Left.

  4. Problem is when surveyed most Muslims understand why terrorism occurs which means they hold the same views but do not always act on it.The separation of islam from Islamism or Islamic terrorism is left wing appeasement and complete crap

  5. Messiha uses the expression “radical Islam” which is a mistake too. Because then there would be “moderate Islam” and there is no such thing.
