UK Facing Massive Tax Hikes Following COVID Spending Spree, Warns Think Tank, As Unemployment Rises

The British government may need to increase taxes by over £40 billion per year in order to prevent the debt accrued during the China virus lockdowns from “spiralling upwards”, the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) warned in a report.

The think tank’s report suggested that a decrease in tax revenue combined with record peacetime spending will force the government to either decrease spending — an unlikely proposition — or increase taxes, in a move that would fly in the face of the 2019 Conservative Party manifesto.

Bill Gates Says World Won’t Return to Normal Until “A Lot of People” Take a Second COVID Vaccine

Billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates says the world won’t return to normal until “a lot of people” take a second “super-effective” coronavirus vaccine that could be years away.

Gates told NBC that the situation will not be reversed until we reach ‘Zero COVID’ — totally eliminating the virus worldwide, a goal that represents a higher bar than for any other disease in history.

“The only way we’ll get completely back to normal is by having, maybe not the first generation of vaccines, but eventually a vaccine that is super-effective, and that a lot of the people take, and that we get the disease eliminated on a global basis,” said Gates.

Cook County Democrats Drop Two Judges From Retention Endorsement

Updated 2:15 p.m. with a statement from Judge Michael Toomin.

The Cook County Democratic Committee voted Monday not to endorse two judges running for retention in November, Michael Toomin and Mauricio Araujo.

Toomin, the presiding judge of the juvenile justice division, recently came under fire for making it harder for juveniles seeking release from detention during the coronavirus pandemic. Araujo is currently on administrative duty, pending a disciplinary hearing into accusations of sexual harassment.

[Comment: The party’s vote is retaliation for the judge’s appointment of special prosecutor Dan Webb, who has criticized how Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx’s office handled the case against former “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett. Also, from what I can tell, the judge is not soft on criminals.]

FBI Used Media Reports Seeded by British Spy to ‘Corroborate’ The Anti-Trump Steele Dossier, Declassified Spreadsheet Shows

The FBI sought to ‘verify’ information in the notorious dossier at the heart of Russiagate by using media articles seeded by the actual dossier author, British spy Christopher Steele, the newly released evidence has shown.

The so-called Steele Dossier is the centerpiece of ‘Russiagate,’ the conspiracy theory that Donald Trump “colluded” with Moscow in the 2016 US presidential election. The dossier’s most bombastic claim was that Russia had “kompromat” on him in the form of sex tapes from a Moscow hotel involving urinating prostitutes.

Steele compiled the dossier for Fusion GPS, a DC-based firm paid by Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign through the DNC. The FBI then used it to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on Trump campaign aide Carter Page in October 2016, and extended it three times well into 2017.

The British socialite is charged with enabling Epstein’s sexual abuse of underage girls — some allegedly as young as 14 years old — but denies any wrongdoing.

Google is Giving Data to Police Based on Your Search Keywords

If you think your internet searches are private and you’re using Google, think again. A recent court document reveals that Google has been releasing data to police based on keywords used in searches.

In this instance, police sent a search warrant to Google asking for information on “users who had searched the address” of a residence involved in an arson. Police then used the IP address information they got from Google to find a suspect’s name, phone number and phone records, allowing them to pinpoint the suspect’s whereabouts at the time of the arson.

“This ‘keyword warrant’ evades the Fourth Amendment checks on police surveillance,” Albert Fox Cahn, executive director of the Surveillance Technology Oversight Project, told CNET. “When a court authorizes a data dump of every person who searched for a specific term or address, it’s likely unconstitutional.”

Google told CNET it “works to protect the privacy of its users,” by requiring a warrant, but still supports law enforcement. However, CNET points out that innocent people who are simply looking things up out of curiosity could be arrested “for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.”

If You’re Harmed by a COVID-19 Vaccine, You Have Little Recourse

While the FDA and other government officials continue to try to reassure people that any COVID-19 vaccine that comes out will be safe, the truth is if you’re injured by it, there’s not much you can do about it.

Even with regular vaccines, the vaccine companies themselves have no personal liability. So, if you or your child are harmed by a vaccine, your only recourse is to petition through a special vaccine court called VICP. VICP is a “no-fault” alternative to the traditional civil court lawsuit and was established in 1986 after a string of high-profile lawsuits by parents of vaccine injured children had hauled vaccine manufacturers into court to have their cases heard in front of juries.

With the COVID-19 vaccines, the Secretary of Health and Human Services has established a special COVID fund for people injured by the vaccines.

This “countermeasures injury” compensation fund, set up in 2010 for potential harm from anthrax, Ebola or flu pandemic vaccines, has paid out $6 million on just 29 cases. And, as The Wall Street Journal points out, so far this fund has paid out less per person than the VICP does — most likely because it has a stricter threshold for proving you’re injured, as well as a shorter statute of limitations.

Pelosi’s Left Are Unhinged: They Are Censoring Trump for Telling the Truth to Americas

The Silicon Valley elites (executives at Facebook, Twitter, Google) and the fake news media (CNN, MSNBC, New York Times, etc.) are visibly trying to silence President Donald Trump just weeks before the 2020 Election, during a critical moment in the era of the Chinese Coronavirus, according to members of the National Association of Chiefs of Police.

A large part of their plan is intensifying Americans’ fear of the Coronavirus, because that’s how they entice the U.S. population to vote for their socialist puppets: they use fear and hopelessness.

There are less than four weeks until Election Day and the GOP must win this fight or we risk being silenced forever by the likes of Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the far-left members of the Democratic Party. President Trump is the only one who will fight for the American people and fight for the truth, something America’s newsrooms gave up when they decided to turn professional journalism into the socialist propaganda machine.

Proof Home-Based Treatment Trumps the Failed Fauci Model

SARS-CoV-2 virus was virtually unknown when it hit in early 2020. COVID-19, as the disease is known, now has more than 60,000 National Library of Medicine citations, as the internet disseminates information at the speed of light. Recently, President Trump was treated early for COVID-19, with rapid success.

What are the lessons learned from the scientific research?

Lesson 1: COVID-19 is not the death sentence we had at first thought. For healthy 74-year-olds who do not smoke tobacco, don’t drink alcohol and have no serious medical conditions such as heart disease, lung disease, diabetes, kidney disease, or morbid obesity, recovery rate is better than 95%.

Lesson 2: Early treatment at first sign of symptoms is critical. Thousands of front-line physicians in the U.S. and around the world have been saying this from the beginning. Early treatment is the principle that guides almost all medical practice — from heart disease to diabetes to cancer. In viral diseases, early treatment is critical. Patients need antiviral medicines, vitamins, minerals, known immune boosters, fresh air and sunshine.

Studies confirm early treatment for COVID-19. In more than 130 studies compiled at c19study.com, the early-treatment studies using hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) showed a favorable effect of HCQ with other antivirals, with a median improvement of 64%. We accept 30-40 percent as a “success” with flu vaccine. Why wouldn’t 64% improvement with antiviral medicines be considered a huge success? Even the majority of late treatment studies in very sick hospitalized patients showed around 25% improvement with HCQ.

Lesson 3: Doctors have now learned what medicines work and when to use them. Many physicians across America — myself included — are using a combination approach to early treatment for COVID, keeping patients at home for treatment with family and loved ones around them helping to implement the physicians’recommendations.

Subjugation, Psychological Terror and Destruction of Freedom

The surge of new coronavirus positives in the White House and Republican Congress has renewed the ongoing and ever-intensifying debate on face masks. Amy Klobuchar and Chuck Schumer are pushing for forced masking requirements in the Senate. If the liberal senators get their way, Senate members will have to test negative for the virus prior to voting on the body’s floor. Likewise, senators exposed to positive virus persons will have to quarantine for two weeks, before a return to Congress; avery easy way to keep Senators from being able to vote for Amy Coney Barrett.

Supposedly a free country…yes well that’s the question isn’t it? California Governor Gavin Newsom, Pelosi’s nephew by marriage, is so concerned for the safety of California residents that he tells them to wear a mask between bites at restaurants. The sad thing is, there will be dumbed down Americans who will follow these orders despite the fact that masks do nothing to save you from any flu virus. Every time you touch that mask, you infect it with bacteria. Every time you take a breath through that mask, you breathe in what your body hoped to expel. More and more evidence has come to the fore regarding the very dangers of this shutdown and the subjugation and separation of face masking and social distancing.

The Name NASA has chosen for this new program is ‘Artemis’. In Greek mythology, Artemis is the sister of Apollo and the daughter of Zeus. She was the Greek goddess of the hunt, the wilderness, wild animals, and the Moon.

The first woman astronaut to the Moon will also leave her footprints on the lunar surface.

The program aims to land on the Moon as a preparation for the next giant leap, the exploration of Mars.

NASA, through its Artemis Plan Program, is planning to sustainably explore the lunar surface using innovative technologies. Reportedly, NASA also plans to extract the valuable deposits of water-ice from the Moon’s south pole. In the future, these deposits could serve as rocket fuel on the lunar surface—at a much lower cost than carrying the fuel from the earth.

The Plot Against America?

Authored by Frank Furedi via The Gatestone Institute

From Europe, the culture war raging in the United States is disturbing. In the presidential election, it seems that radical anti-American forces are questioning the very foundation on which Western civilisation was built.

The New York Times seems too similar to the propaganda we were fed by the Hungarian Stalinist Pravda during the days of communist tyranny.

In the Western world, the past has become the target of an ideological crusade. Many of its historic monuments and symbols are being vandalised, defaced or destroyed altogether. In the United States, the national flag has been treated with derision and denounced by leading members of its cultural institutions as a symbol of racism, oppression and discrimination. Commentators have been regularly condemning their nation’s past and portraying it as a source of irredeemable shame.

In recent times, hostility towards the very foundation on which different Western nations rest has acquired a systematic form. This trend is most strikingly articulated by The New York Times’ 1619 Project — to devalue and criminalise the founding of the United States.

Washington State Blows Away Wind Fantasies

by Ronald Stein

The Northwest has spoken loudly as the Benton Public Utility District (BPUD) has documented their actual battleground experiences with intermittent electricity from wind farms that should be a wake-up call to our policy makers. Their message is “no more wind”.

The Washington state utility 16-page report titled “Wind Power and Clean Energy Policy Perspectives” of July 14, 2020 provides a devastating counter attack to the wind lobbyists that they question the efficacy of wind farms for power generation and resulted in the utility’s commissioners saying they “do not support further wind power development in the Northwest.”

Kudos to this Washington state public utility for speaking up after seeing the costs and dangers of California’s experience with an overreliance on intermittent electricity from wind and solar. In a statement and report, the utility said overly aggressive clean energy policies bring about an unacceptably high risk of power grid blackouts. They go on to say the development of wind farms may be “politically fashionable” and appeal to many in the general public, but science and economics show that attempting to power modern civilization with intermittent electricity from wind and solar will come at a high financial and environmental cost.

The report is consistent with what has happened in Germany and Australia, as power prices in Germany are among the highest in Europe. Today, German households pay almost 50% more for electricity than they did in 2006. Shockingly, America, from California to New York, continues to take giant steps toward following Germany’s failed climate goals which should be a wake-up call for governments everywhere…

What Can We Do to Get a Reasonably Honest Election?

Since we know that Trump ballots have been tossed into dumpsters, and election offices have been flooded with fake Biden ballots; the best course of action would be for Congress to make a law which reschedules the November 3 election to a later date; and cancels everything which has been done so far respecting the election (at least since the primaries).

Congress could then exercise its constitutional authority to establish common sense procedures respecting the “Time, Place and Manner” of voting in the upcoming elections. For example, Congress could pass a law providing that:

Every registered voter who wants to vote must physically appear at his officially designated place of voting and produce proof of identity. Election Day should be one day — not weeks and months before & after the date set for the election. Absentee voting should be restricted to those who are out of the Country or out of State due to military service, service in the diplomatic corps, missionaries stationed overseas, businessmen stationed overseas, etc.

We used to do it this way.

But the Marxists came in with their hard luck stories about how these requirements were harsh, unfair, discriminatory, and so forth; and so our side [as usual] caved in and went along with the demands which stripped us of the ability to have even reasonably honest elections.

However, because Marxists now control the House, Congress lacks the ability to act as suggested above…

State governments may be the only way salvage, at least to some extent, the upcoming election. Since the Judicial Branches of the State and federal governments have no constitutional authority to change the decisions of the Legislative Branches respecting the “Times, Places and Manner” of federal elections; State Governments should instruct the Election Officials for their State that they must obey & enforce the election laws passed by their State legislature and not the usurpatious orders of judges. Judges have no constitutional authority to change what the State Legislatures do on this issue!

Election officials should also be shown that judges have no power to enforce their orders & judgments — that they depend on the Executive Branches of the federal or State governments to enforce them. We are doomed if Americans remain unable to grasp this simple concept.

‘Traumatic’: French Women Forced to Wear Masks During Childbirth, Campaign Group Calls for Hospitals to Ditch Rule

Hospitals in France are requiring expectant mothers to wear face masks during childbirth, allegedly causing complications during labor. Now an activist group is leading a wave of angry backlash over the practice.

UK Labour Party Refuses to Back Free Speech in Darren Grimes Investigation

The police in the UK have been known over the years for taking a curiously active role — at least by a functioning democracy’s standards — in policing speech on the internet, all the way to showing up at people’s homes for their social media posts.

And it seems that their actions are supported, and likely stemming from, both political and ideological camps in the country, basically agreeing that this is the right way to go.

The latest example arrived on Friday when news broke that conservative commentator and campaigner Darren Grimes was being investigated by the Metropolitan Police for the statements made by a guest on his podcast, historian David Starkey.

Some of Starkey’s comments have been condemned as racist, but it is Grimes who is investigated on hate speech grounds — a probe that, if it holds and possibly produces an indictment, could set a grave precedent and have a chilling effect on freedom of expression exercised by new media like podcasts, and perhaps traditional media as well.

Slowest Part of COVID Tests ‘Eliminated’ With Israeli Single-Molecule Method

France: ‘They Are Thieves, Murderers and Rapists’ — Zemmour in Hot Water Again Over Comments on So-Called Unaccopanied Minors

Éric Zemmour, the French philosopher and essayist, has once again found himself the target of the ethics committee of Canal + Group, which is the network owner of CNews, for comments he recently made about so-called ‘unaccompanied minors’ during one of his frequent appearances on the channel.

Five members of the ethics committee will speak with Christine Kelly, a French journalist who’s often featured on the same programs as Zemmour as well as CNews chief Serge Nedjar and several magistrates to determine whether additional airtime will be granted to the writer and polemicist.

The review of Zemmour’s place on the CNews program as well as an investigation opened by the Paris prosecutor’s office for “incitement of racial hatred” and “racist public insults” come just days after the right-wing thinker was fined $10,000 euros for allegedly ‘inciting religious hatred’ during a speech he gave last September on Islam and migration.

Italy’s New Left-Wing Immigration Rules Could Bring Back Chaos

Italy is in danger due to a new escalation in migration chaos, but the left-wing government would rather attack Matteo Salvini than deal with the issue of illegal migrant camps in the heart of the capital of Rome, League senator Simone Pillon told conservative Hungarian daily Magyar Hirlap.

Barely a week has passed since the government abolished most of former Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini’s security and migration ordinances and already the number of newly arrived immigrants has skyrocketed. In 30 hours, 725 more illegal immigrants reached the shores of Sicily, the right-wing daily Il Giornale reported on Monday.

UK Wants to Stop Migrant Boats by Using Nets, But Farage Labels it an Idiotic Plan

According to Dan O’Mahoney, whose task is to end illegal travel across the English Channel, the United Kingdom’s Home Office is considering using nets to stop the propellers of boats carrying migrants to prevent migrants from sailing dangerously through the Strait of Dover on small rubber dinghies.

O’Mahoney revealed the government’s plan in an interview for the Sunday edition of the British daily The Telegraph. When asked if it was the same method the Royal Navy was testing, using nets to clog ship propellers, he replied, “Yes, this is the type. Thanks to this, we will safely switch off the engine, then take the migrants on board of our ship.”

This is one of the latest tactics that ministers and government officials are reportedly considering. Also being considered is the use of water cannons to redirect boats using waves, creating asylum centers on discarded ferries, or sending migrants to remote islands in the Atlantic Ocean. However, the plan to move migrants to some of the world’s most isolated islands was leaked to the media and protested by human rights groups.

Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage derided the scheme as the “latest genius idea” from the Home Office, saying: “The props will foul and boats will either drift in the shipping lanes or get dragged under when the tide rips. This will kill people.”

DNA Denial and the Rights of the Unborn

With pro-abortion media bias all around us, you have to find pro-life messages in unusual places. Watching a rerun of a “Shark Tank” episode, one product was advertised as “Belly Buds” for pregnant women, so the baby in the womb can hear music and voices. You mean a baby is alive? How did the corporate censors let this message slip through?

One of my favorite posters shows an unborn baby inside a tree with the admonition, “Pretend I’m a tree. Save me.” It cuts to the heart of those professing concern for the environment without taking into account whether humans survive in it. After 63 million abortions, perhaps we need a “Human New Deal” for the unborn, recognizing their God-given rights.

The “Green New Deal” is designed for liberals who want to appear compassionate about the earth, not the people who inhabit it. They think stopping cow farts is more important than saving human lives.

Facebook Bans Ads Discouraging Coronavirus Vaccines

As public trust in a coronavirus vaccine continues to wane, Facebook has ramped up its restrictions on vaccine criticism by banning all ads that discourage people from getting vaccinated.

Ads that advocate for or against legislation and government policies related to vaccines are still allowed but anything else that discourages vaccination will be rejected. While Facebook didn’t go into specifics, this ad ban will presumably prohibit ads that criticize vaccines or question the safety of vaccines.

Not only is Facebook banning ads that discourage people from getting vaccines but it’s also going to be inserting messages on US user’s timelines that tell them to get a flu shot.

Google’s Nest Thermostat Gets a Redesign and a Bunch of New Features

[Big Brother would blush with utter shame to see how comprehensively Google monitors household customers that use their digital assistant technology. Please watch the full length (T = 01:23:09) presentation on Surveillance Capitalism by Professor Shoshana Zuboff for an in-depth review of just how intrusive all forms of Social Media have become. She did a deep dive into the Google Nest contract and determined that when you sign their agreement, effectively you are agreeing to OVER ONE HUNDRED different data surrender contracts with ancillary partners. Few other modern technologies promise to more thoroughly compromise our most basic liberties and freedoms than the harvesting of Behavioral Surplus by Social Media companies.

Netflix CEO Defends “Cuties” Movie, Says it is “Misunderstood”

Netflix chief executive Ted Sarandos defended controversial film “Cuties” recently after a Texas grand jury indicted Netflix for running the film.

“Cuties,” a French film, follows a young girl joining a dance troupe and features four 11-year-old girls participating in provocative dances. It has been repeatedly criticized for its depiction of minors in suggestive situations.

Sarandos said the film was “misunderstood,” adding that “it’s a little surprising in 2020 America that we’re having a discussion about censoring storytelling.”

Netflix Uses YouTube Copyright System to Silence Criticism of Controversial Movie Cuties

Video streaming and production powerhouse Netflix has gotten entangled in problems on multiple fronts as it defends its choice to release the controversial French movie “Mignonnes” (“Cuties”) in the US.

On one hand, Netflix is under fire for the film itself, that those critical of making it available on the platform say sexualizes children, while on the other, the giant appears to be engaging in more shady behavior by issuing false copyright takedowns over on YouTube.

Twitter user @SidAlpha shared the news about one of his videos, a critique of “Cuties” — that he referred to as “the giant Netflix bait movie” — getting blocked and demonetized on the Google-owned platform, at the behest of Netflix.

The United Nations Continues Its Abortion Advocacy

Cooperation between the U.N. and the abortion industry is nothing new, but the coronavirus climate has paved the way for increasingly brazen and bizarre alliances. This is a new direction for UNICEF and the World Bank, for example, both of which traditionally have steered clear of overt abortion activism. Although it’s commonplace, it is essential to underscore that U.N. abortion promotion is fundamentally at odds with its institutional mandate. National governments, not the international bureaucracy, should chart the course for the U.N. system.

  2. No mention of the dangers of no fresh air circulation indoors yet? Maybe no masks in the fresh air outdoors? Beards and long hair used to be top of the list – back in February. Never mentioned now. Muslim dated disease spreading rituals – from fourteen hundred years ago. Hygiene as per surfaces as well as self? And so on.

  4. “The world you live in—your nation, your people—is not the world you were born in at all. The forms are all there, all untouched, all reassuring, the houses, the shops, the jobs, the mealtimes, the visits, the concerts, the cinema, the holidays. But the spirit, which you never noticed because you made the lifelong mistake of identifying it with the forms, is changed. Now you live in a world of hate and fear, and the people who hate and fear do not even know it themselves; when everyone is transformed, no one is transformed. Now you live in a system which rules without responsibility even to God. The system itself could not have intended this in the beginning, but in order to sustain itself it was compelled to go all the way.” – Milton Mayer – They Thought They Were Free
