Biden Says Voters Don’t Need to Know Who His SCOTUS Pick Will be

Joe Biden says that voters don’t have the right to know who his Supreme Court nomination will be until after he wins the presidency.

The exchange happened during a campaign stop earlier today when Biden accused Donald Trump of trying to change the subject by focusing on who the former Vice President would pick to replace the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

“Should voters know who you’re going to appoint?” Biden was asked.

“No they don’t but they will if I’m elected, they’ll know in plenty of time,” he responded.

American rapper Cardi B is being sued for alleged defamation, over social media posts that labeled a trio of Trump supporters at a Long Island beach as racist, after they’d argued with the star’s sister there.

John Ray, the attorney representing beachgoers Peter Caliendo, Pauline Caliendo and Manuel Alarcon, said the rapper’s viral social media video was “deviously” edited to make his clients look bad before it was published by Cardi B. The former president joined Maxwell — who is now cooling her heels in a Brooklyn jail cell on charges involving the alleged sex abuse of young women — and a small group of friends for the meal in Los Angeles after a celebrity gala that February, sources told the Daily Beast.

“This is an intimate dinner with Clinton in LA,” an aghast source told the Web site.

Diversity Consultants Hardest Hit: Trump Bans ‘Race or Sex Stereotyping or Scapegoating’ In US Government Agencies & Contractors

After multiple agencies ignored a White House memo against using ‘critical race theory’ in diversity training, US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order banning such sessions altogether as ‘destructive’.

It “shall be the policy of the United States not to promote race or sex stereotyping or scapegoating in the Federal workforce or in the Uniformed Services, and not to allow grant funds to be used for these purposes,” Trump said in an executive order signed on Tuesday evening

While the order does not mention ‘critical race theory’ by name, it cites a “destructive ideology” that is “rooted in the pernicious and false belief that America is an irredeemably racist and sexist country,” viewing some people as oppressors simply on account of their race or sex and treating “racial and sexual identities are more important than our common status as human beings and Americans.”

Elgin Man Accused of Associating With ISIS Terrorists

ELGIN, S.C. (WIS) — An Elgin man has been named in FBI documents regarding an investigation into a conspiracy to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization.

This criminal complaint, from the US District Court for the Western District of Texas, names Elgin resident Kristopher Sean Matthews who investigators say has also called himself “Ali Jibreel.” Jaylyn Molina, who lives in Texas, is also named in these documents.

Officials say that around May 2019 an online chat group was created where someone could only become a member if they were invited in, following vetting by Matthews or another trusted member.

They say the vetting was to assure, among other things, that the admitted members supported the ideology of ISIS.

How CDC/WHO Will Fake the Effects of the COVID Vaccine to Make it Look Like a Success

Making a vaccine look like it’s a champion isn’t difficult for public health agencies. There are a number of strategies.

Of course, these fraudulent strategies would be serious crimes. But when has that stopped the CDC or the World Health Organization?

In no particular order —

ONE: Rework the definition of a “COVID case.” Presently, the CDC absurdly allows doctors to diagnose a person with COVID who has a cough, or chills and fever, and lives in an area where cases are being claimed. No test necessary.

So change this practice, once the vaccine is approved. Demand testing for a diagnosis. State that cough alone is not enough. Chills and fever must also be present. Require fever to be above 100.

Louisville Boarded Up in Preparation for Potential Breonna Taylor Riots

Areas of Louisville, Kentucky have been boarded up as the city prepares for potential riots in response to a grand jury ruling on the killing of Breonna Taylor.

Taylor was shot and killed by LMPD officers who were serving a warrant on her apartment back in March.

The level of violent unrest will almost exclusively depend on whether charges are brought against the three officers involved, Sgt. Jonathan Mattingly, officer Myles Cosgrove and former officer Brett Hankison.

Taylor’s family has already received a $12 million dollar settlement after a wrongful death lawsuit, but tensions are virtually guaranteed to spill over into chaotic disorder if the officers escape charges.

Vaccination: What’s Trust Got to Do With it?

The orchestrated actions by governments around the world to restrict or eliminate civil liberties in response to the COVID-19 pandemic has been unprecedented, and has had profound effects on the global economy and on the physical, mental and emotional health of billions of people

By mid-September 2020, the U.S. had recorded over 7 million cases and 198,000 deaths, with an estimated 598 deaths per million people — a higher death rate per million people than Sweden, where health officials refused to order masking or to lock down the country and allowed the population to acquire natural herd immunity

According to the World Health Organization, the overall infection mortality rate for COVID-19 is about 0.6%

The CDC recently reported that only 6% of COVID-19-related deaths were solely due to coronavirus infection and 94% of the people who died also had influenza or pneumonia; heart, lung or kidney disease; high blood pressure; diabetes; or another underlying poor health condition

Why Do Americans Give Away So Much Control to Corporations?

The American people own most of the wealth — private and public — and most of the information in the country. The top one percent do not.

The American people have most of the power in the country. The top one percent do not.

These assertions may surprise you, because the top one percent and the giant corporations work overtime to control what you own. This means they do not have to seize what you own so long as their control provides them with both riches and power over you.

Who is Pascale Ferrier, The Woman Accused of Sending Ricin to Trump?

The Canadian woman charged with sending a ricin-laced letter to President Trump apparently tweeted a hashtag supportive of killing the commander-in-chief less than two weeks ago.

Pascale Ferrier, of Quebec, was arrested Sunday at the border crossing between Fort Erie, Ontario, and Buffalo, New York, after allegedly mailing a letter addressed to Trump containing the highly toxic substance, according to CBC News.

She was carrying a gun at the time of her arrest at the Peace Bridge crossing, CNN said.

An account appearing to belong to Ferrier, 53, tweeted in response to a since-deleted post on Sept. 9: “I just read this tweet. I agree… Nobody did anything… It’s time to change! #killtrump.”

She also allegedly tweeted the same day to someone, “I have a new name for Trump: ‘the ugly tyrant clown.’“

The account bears the name Pascale Ferrier and lists Laval, Quebec, as the location. In her bio, Ferrier describes herself as a “techno-creative Nomad.”

Ferrier, who had been living in the US last year, was deported to Canada after authorities found she overstayed her six-month visa and had committed a crime while in America, the New York Times reported, citing a senior intelligence official.

How German Schools Are Becoming Climate-Indoctrination Farms

In Berlin’s green movement, schools and officials aim to utilize youth to pave the way to a new world.

The Berlin daily, left-of-center Tagesspiegel admiringly looks at the Fridays for Future movement in Berlin, a city where it is particularly strong and well-networked — and its schools serving as indoctrination farms.

Danger signals

Already some are sounding the alarms. For example, in a newly released book, former FFF activist Clemens Traub comments how the FFF movement is made up mostly of privileged urban youth, most of them sporting the latest hip fashion and flashing the newest iPhone while fancying themselves as the rescuers of the planet and beholders of the truth.

Italians Back Cutting No. of MPs, Regional Votes End in Tie

Centre right, centre left win three regions each

(ANSA) — ROME, SEP 22 — The Italian public has approved a cut in the number of parliamentarians in referendum staged on Sunday and Monday while a round of regional elections ended in in a tie, with the centre left and the opposition centre right .wining three each.

In the referendum, people were asked whether to approve a law that amends the Italian Constitution to reduce the number of MPs in parliament, from 630 to 400 in the Chamber of Deputies and from 315 to 200 in the Senate.

The yes vote prevailed with 69.64%, compared to 30.36% for the no vote.

Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio, whose 5-Star Movement (M5S) was the driving force of the campaign for this reform, hailed a “historic result”.

“We now have a normal parliament with 345 fewer posts and fewer privileges,” he said.

“This is politics that gives a signal to the citizens.

“It would never have happened without the 5-Star Movement.

“I’m proud of this result,” he added, speaking to ANSA.

“Today is a starting point, not a final destination”.

The opposition rightwing League, on the other hand, said the outcome of the referendum should lead to the end of the current parliamentary term and early elections.

“The logical consequence would be that the houses of parliament are dissolved in order to finally experience the efficiency won by this reform,” Riccardo Molinari., the League’s leader in the Lower HOue, said via Twitter.

In the regional elections centre-right incumbent governors Luca Zaia and Giovanni Toti won by big margins respectively in Veneto and Liguria.

In Marche, the centre right’s Francesco Acquaroli won too In Campania centre-left Governor Vincenzo De Luca easily fended off the centre right’s Stefano Caldoro.

In Puglia Governor Michele Emiliano beat former governor and centre right candidate Raffaele Fitto The centre left also held Tuscany, thanks to Eugenio Giani’s victory.

The fact that the centre-right opposition failed to land a decisive victory in the regional elections was widely seen as strengthening Premier Giuseppe Conte’s government, which is based in an alliance between the centre-left Democratic Party and the 5-Star Movement (M5S), along with other smaller groups.

PD Deputy Leader Andrea Orlando said Tuesday that the government must now move up a gear as it faces the task of delivering recovery from the COVID-19 emergency.

“I have always said that we are going into a third phase, the phase of reconstruction, and in my opinion this must be based on a quantum leap in the quality of the State’s response,” he said.

Zaia, who is a member of Matteo Salvini’s League party, dismissed speculation he could go on to become the national leader of the centre right after his landslide win in Veneto.

“It doesn’t interest me,” he said.

Italy: Matteo Salvini’s League Posts Some Gains in Regional Elections But Not ‘The Clean Sweep’ The Right Was Hoping for

The result of two elections held Sunday and Monday saw right-wing leader Matteo Salvini’s League party gain control of the eastern Marche region and holding on to the two regions it already controls, but his party fell short of the “clean sweep” he aimed for.

At the same time, the overwhelming majority of Italians also voted to reduce the number of MPs in the bicameral parliament by more than one-third.

In the regional elections, the League managed to hold on to its two key regions. In the Veneto region, Luca Zaia posted his third consecutive win with a huge margin, in Liguria center-right candidate Giovanni Toti also kept control of the region, while in Marche, Salvini’s allies, the Brothers of Italy led by Giorgia Meloni, secured victory for their candidate despite the fact that it was the only region where the left managed to put forward a joint candidate.

Polish Court Protects Dutch Family Who Fled the Netherlands With Their Autistic Son

Conrad and Katya den Hertog, along with their 7-year-old son Martin, are residing in Poland while trying to obtain legal protection due to a European arrest warrant issued by Dutch authorities.

The couple is represented by Bartosz Lewandowski, an Ordo Iuris lawyer, whose legal organization has previously supported parents who have sought protection in Poland from Western child services.

The Australian-Russian couple have been living in the Netherlands for several years. On February 2018, following accusations from neighbours, Dutch authorities took the child away from the family home and placed him in foster care.

The parents claim that for the next 13 months, they only had limited opportunities to see Martin, with visits permitted for a few hours a week. They deny claims of neglect, saying that their son’s developmental disorder has been mistaken as a sign of abuse.

Son of Belarusian Opposition Activists Returned to Parents. PM Moraweicki Intervened on Social Media

Elena Lazarchik was stopped by Belarusian police on Sept. 17 to identify her documents. The police took away her phone and transported her to a police station where she was detained for several hours. During this time, since Lazarchik was unable to pick up her son from school, teachers called social services and her 6-year-old son Artyom was placed in a state care center.

Belsat TV reported that on Sept. 18, social services visited Lazarchik’s house to check the family’s living conditions. Lazarchik was unable to bring her son back home on Sept. 18 because the care center demanded certain documents.

According to independent outlet, Nasza Niwa, Lazarchik was to be stripped of her parent’s rights due to problems with alcohol.

Independent Belarusian media believe that the situation was an attempt to pressure Artyom’s parents, both of whom are opposition activists. On Sept. 19, 200 protesters gathered in front of the care center, demanding the return of Artyom to his parents.

Ursula Von Der Leyen: Russia’s Behavior Has Grown Even Worse Since the Nord Stream 2 Project Began

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has admitted in an interview with Polish news outlet Rzeczpospolita that for many years it was believed that the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline was a purely economic initiative, but now this view is changing.

“I am now deeply convinced that it is a highly political investment. Russia’s behavior has not changed for the better during the pipeline’s construction — it became worse. Hopes that trade and gas business will improve relations with Russia are diminishing. We must be honest, yes, this is a political project and it will not change Russia’s behavior,” she said.

Von der Leyen added that the European Commission has done all it could in its power from the business side to block the pipeline’s construction.

Congressional Report Concludes China Could Easily Have Prevented Pandemic

A new report from GOP members of the House Foreign Affairs Committee has concluded that China covered up the coronavirus pandemic, and failed to follow international health guidelines which would have likely prevented the global pandemic.

The report, which was released Monday, concludes that “It is highly likely the ongoing pandemic could have been prevented” had China been transparent after the outbreak began in Wuhan.

“It is beyond doubt that the [Chinese Communist Party] actively engaged in a cover-up designed to obfuscate data, hide relevant public health information, and suppress doctors and journalists who attempted to warn the world,” the report notes.

YouTube Will Age-Restrict More Videos, Killing Virality, And Some Users Will Need to Hand Over ID to Watch

YouTube is in the process of activating a new system that would automatically age-restrict videos if it finds what it decides is controversial content in them. And, in some cases, viewers will need to hand over ID to be able to watch the videos.

It is not the first time that YouTube has used artificial intelligence for video analysis. Since 2017, the platform has been using systems that rely on machine learning to help human operators detect videos that could contain so-called “hate speech” and “misinformation.”

In time for the election, YouTube will implement an AI update that will automatically flag the videos that it considers needs an age restriction block, a move that will likely significantly reduce the virality of those videos and is likely to cut a creator’s ability to earn revenue.
