Akilah Hughes Forced to Pay Legal Fees to Sargon of Akaad, May Dissuade Others From Abusing the DMCA

The multi-year saga involving a social media feud that turned into a legal battle between YouTubers Carl Benjamin and Akilah Hughes seems to be drawing to a close.

Started shortly after the 2016 US presidential election, the case developed from Hughes suing Benjamin for using parts of her video made during Hillary Clinton’s election defeat night, to poke fun at Hughes’ pro-Clinton stance and her lack of self-awareness.

Benjamin has now been awarded legal fees in his claim against Hughes — the funds reclaim motion was filed after the lawsuit Hughes brought against him on copyright violation grounds had been dismissed.

Benjamin, who goes on YouTube by Sargon of Akkad, asked the US District Court for the Southern District of New York to award him $38,911 in attorneys’ fees and costs, which the court has now done.

Baby Boomers Score Lower on Cognitive Functioning Than Members of Previous Generations, Study Finds

LOS ANGELES — American baby boomers scored lower on a test of cognitive functioning than did members of previous generations, according to a new nationwide study by researchers at Ohio State University.

The study’s author, Hui Zheng, an associate professor at the university, researched data from over 30,000 Americans who participated in the 1996 to 2014 Health and Retirement Study, conducted by the University of Michigan Institute for Social Research.

The study, published in the Journals of Gerontology, described how the average cognition scores of adults aged 51 and older have been improving from generation to generation, starting with the greatest generation (born 1890-1923) to war babies (born 1942-1947).

But the study showed there were significant declines in the scores for early baby boomers (1948-1953) through the mid-baby boomers (1954-1959).

He continued, “As president, I’ll take on the powerful gun lobby to pass universal background checks, ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, and close loopholes to keep guns out of dangerous hands. We can and will end our gun violence epidemic.”

Facebook’s Fact-Check Board Gets a Lot of ‘Likes’ From Soros

Authored by Sharyl Attkisson via RealClearInvestigations

In announcing the formation of an independent oversight board with authority to allow or remove content from Facebook and Instagram, the board’s four co-chairs stressed the body’s diversity.

“The board members come from different professional, cultural and religious backgrounds and have various political viewpoints,” they wrote in a New York Times op-ed on May 6. “Some of us have been publicly critical of Facebook; some of us haven’t.”

Contemporaneous news articles reinforced this message, reporting that the board’s ideologically and geographically diverse members criss-cross the ideological spectrum.

A closer look, however, reveals that 18 of its 20 members collaborated with or are tied to groups that have received funding from George Soros’ Open Society Foundations — which is one of the most well-funded and influential progressive organizations in the country.

Top BAME Teacher: BLM Encouraging Institutional Racism, ‘Decolonising’ Education ‘Divides Us’

Leading British educator Katharine Birbalsingh has warned that “decolonising” the school curriculum will not help pupils progress in life and will, in fact, create more social divisions.

Ms Birbalsingh, who founded and leads the high-performing Michaela Community School in London, also said that Black Lives Matter’s call to “decolonise” education by replacing white men with minorities is itself “a big example of institutional racism”.

UK 2% Digital Tax of Amazon Backfires, Small Businesses With Already-Tight Margins End Up Paying

The Digital Services Tax (DST) became law in the UK in July. The law is a 2 percent tax on revenue on all online marketplaces, social media platforms, and search engines with revenues of more than £500 million. It was designed as a way to tax Big Tech and, predictably, it’s already backfiring.

Amazon is hitting back by transferring the cost to small businesses who use the platform and whose margins are already slim.

The tax is meant to make sure companies making huge profits in the UK contribute to the public. Unfortunately, it’s not Amazon or the other targets of the tax, such as Facebook and Google, that will end up paying the tax. The tax will be paid by smaller businesses who use Amazon’s services.

UK: Oxford Director Calls for Demonetization of News Outlets That Publish COVID “Misinformation”

The director of Oxford University’s Oxford Internet Institute, Philip Howard, has called for Amazon and Google to blacklist sites “with a history of sharing false and misleading information about the pandemic” from their ad programs — a move that would prevent them from monetizing via two of the world’s largest ad networks.

Howard made the comments in a New York Times article promoting a new paper from the Oxford Internet Institute that he co-wrote.

The paper brands Breitbart News, The Daily Caller, The Epoch Times, PJ Media, Zero Hedge, and other independent news outlets as “junk news and disinformation.”

German Social Democrats Oust Anti-Immigration Party Veteran

After having been a thorn in their side for more than a decade, Germany’s Social Democratic Party (SPD) has ousted from its ranks party veteran and vocal anti-immigration author Thilo Sarrazin, conservative Hungarian news and opinion portal Mandiner reported.

Sarrazin (75), with a doctorate in economics from the University of Bonn, was Finance Senator for the federal state of Berlin from 2002 and 2009 and member of the Bundesbank’s executive board from 2009 to 2010. More importantly, he is the author of the 2010 book Deutschland schafft sich ab (Germany Abolishes Itself) and the 2018 book Feindliche Übernahme (Hostile Takeover), both of which deal with the failure of Germany’s immigration policy and the disproportionately high costs and modest benefits of multiculturalism.

Need Help: Gathering “Drag Queen Story Hour” Pictures That Are Sexual in Nature

I recently saw — for the umpteenth time —this picture of a drag queen story hour perv who, with no underwear, “accidentally” flashed the students. Take a look at the smile on his face… he clearly knew what he was doing. And, by knowingly going commando, I think there’s no doubt he planned it…

Researchers Slowly Discover Censorship Doesn’t Work

Nobody said wholesale censorship on internet platforms used by billions of people would be easy, and this is something that is now becoming apparent, almost six months into giant social media networks’ attempts to tightly control information, and the narrative around the coronavirus pandemic.

But censorship of this magnitude is not seen as a problem in itself; a major headache emerging now for Twitter, Facebook, and others, is that it doesn’t actually work. Instead, banning content that has already gained wide exposure means its reach could grow almost exponentially, as the ban itself becomes a news story.

Teenagers Are Being Encouraged to Purchase Hormones Online to Change Their Gender

Waldemar Krysiak, a former LGBT activist, has managed to infiltrate secret internet forums where teenagers receive help in purchasing illegal sex-change hormones, often paying for them with their naked photos.

By using a fake internet profile, in which he pretended to be a 14-year-old boy who wanted to change his gender, Krysiak gathered materials from forums dedicated to transgender people.

The main platform he used was Discord — an app which allows the creation of mini-servers. He accessed three groups for transgenders.

  1. “Integration” reports from Denmark. “…..Immigration policy must be based on reducing the influx from countries where integration problems are the greatest.” What then is the rest of the Western European tribes secret then? Oh I got it. Slow miserable degeneration and disintegration. Only the Islamics and other illegals allowed to be totally racist? If the lash crash smash back does get underway it is going to be such a life affirming relief.

  2. There has been a dramatic rise in the number of reported rapes in England and Wales since 2012, and it’s currently the highest in Europe. (Yes, higher than even Sweden)

    and has been for awhile.

I blame the WEAK police and politicians.

    • I blame the weak people who do nothing but complain. Depending on other people to protect you is a losing proposition and you will always be disappointed. Arm up and deal with it yourselves.

  3. I recall from my youth hearing an elderly Chinese lady comment that she did not want her offspring to be nothings in a world where identity is everything.
