Germany to Increase Debt to Tackle Virus

More funds to protect health of citizens, stabilise economy

(ANSA-AFP) — BERLIN, 21 AGO — Germany must take on yet more debt in 2021 to lessen the impact of the coronavirus on the economy, Finance Minister Olaf Scholz said Friday. “Next year we will continue to be forced to suspend the debt rule and spend considerable funds to protect the health of citizens and stabilise the economy,” Scholz said in an interview with the Funke media group, referring to Germany’s cherished policy of keeping a strictly balanced budget. Scholz already plans to borrow around 218 billion euros ($258 billion) this year to help pay for a huge rescue package, which he previously described as a big “bazooka”, to steer the country through the coronavirus-induced downturn. That decision marked a momentous change in the attitude to state borrowing in a country that amended its constitution in 2009 to rein in spending with a so-called debt brake. The rule, introduced at the height of the financial crisis, bans Berlin from taking on more than the equivalent of 0.35 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) in new debt in any one year in normal times

COVID-19: We Must Stamp Out the Fear

As we inch towards September, it’s mind-boggling to look back to late February and early March and remember the sudden mass hysteria that swept across this country courtesy of the MSM, print, Internet and boob tube.

Enter Drs. Anthony Fauci and Debrorah Birx throwing gasoline on the bon-fire and shoving grossly inaccurate models in President Trump’s face. Recall Trump said the scariest day in his life was when Dr. Fauci told him 2.2 million people will die based on one particular model — one which has been thoroughly discredited and should have been rejected. All America heard was millions will die and the stampede began.

Trump trusted Mike Pence to bring in experts. Pence brought us Hell named Fauci and Birx. Governors like Cuomo (NY) brought death to thousands in nursing homes and is doing his best to hide the real numbers now believed to be 11,000. He can try but I’m betting some good investigative journalists will eventually get their hands on documents through state open records acts. Cuomo Rejects Independent Investigation of N.Y. Nursing Home Deaths, Saying It Would Be ‘Political’

At the very least Cuomo should be indicted and charged with voluntary manslaughter, but it won’t happen. Just like it won’t happen to the other four Democrat governors responsible for tens of thousands of nursing home deaths:

These Five Democrat Governors Behind Tens of Thousands of Coronavirus Deaths Sent COVID-19 Patients to Nursing Homes— “An updated study revealed 45% of all US coronavirus deaths occurred in nursing homes. That comes out to 73,733 Deaths in US Nursing Homes!

That is a bloodbath!!” — Many governors are not up for reelection until 2022.

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The numbers tell a story but not the whole story: 87 straight nights of protest on the streets of Portland, 23 more arrested Sunday night, nearly 20 riots declared over the past 3 months.

For Greg Goodman, the co-president of the Downtown Development Group, there are other numbers that tell a deeper, even more disturbing story: the number of businesses that are moving out of or locating outside the central district of Portland.

Facebook is Developing Room-Scanning Technology

Facebook says it is developing what appears like a fairly fine-grained way of monitoring sounds occurring in enclosed spaces — spaces that would also be mapped for any objects they contain. And Facebook is relying on artificial intelligence (AI) of one kind or another to achieve this, said a blog post announcing “AI Habitat.”

As is often the case, this type of “arrangement” between ordinary users and a data-dependent and hungry tech juggernaut like Facebook, and the trade-off involved, doesn’t seem to be really worth it for users would have to wear “smart glasses” to allow this invasive system into their homes, and in exchange get trivial help from their AI assistants in checking whether the front door’s locked and finding a phone that’s ringing somewhere else in the apartment. If that’s all the benefit to the user wearing a pair of awkward “glasses” loaded with sensors probing the privacy of their home to the core — it truly sounds like the worst deal ever.

FEC Questioned on Election Ethics of Big Tech Censoring Laura Loomer But Not Her Rival

Major social media platforms and tech services have a long history of banning and deplatforming Laura Loomer. And there’s a remarkably long and comprehensive, covering pretty much every nook and cranny of a person’s online activity, list of them: Facebook, PayPal, Uber, Lyft, Twitter, Medium, and many others.

But despite all that, her status last week changed from a commentator and activist hounded by Big Tech — to a Republican congressional candidate in Florida. And while Loomer has faced censorship without breaking any law, and could in fact become a lawmaker — could it also be that the corporations that have chosen to ban her in the past almost by making an example out of her, are now in violation of US campaign finance law by actively undermining her campaign?

‘Like a Scene Out of Hell’: Armed BLM Rioters Loot, Pillage, And Burn Kenosha Following Police Shooting

In the name of Black Lives Matter, rioters shut down the streets in Kenosha, Wisc., setting trucks on fire, patrolling the streets with semi-automatic rifles, and ransacking nearby businesses. The riot followed the release of a viral video showing Kenosha police repeatedly shooting a black man who resisted arrest and reached into his truck. The man, identified as 29-year-old Jacob Blake, appears to have a violent history. Blake is in critical condition at a nearby hospital, according to police.

Rioters mobbed the police station and reportedly lobbed an incendiary device at the cops before police scattered them. Then the rioters took to the streets.

National Leaders Call on State to Do More to End Violence at Riots in Portland

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) — Some national leaders are calling on Portland and the state of Oregon to do more to end nightly violence in Portland after a third night of riots were declared late Sunday night.

The Portland Police Bureau declared a riot Sunday night after they said that protesters set awnings on fire and threw rocks and breakable objects at officers. PPB says one officer was injured when he was hit with a ceramic shard while trying to put out a fire.

Now, some leaders are saying enough is enough.

Today Acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf sent a tweet saying, “25+ arrests in Portland in the last 48 hrs. Now is the time for the Governor to deploy her National Guard, send in Oregon State Police or request assistance from the federal government. Oracle Supports Groups Pushing Against Social Media Censorship. What Would an Oracle-Owned TikTok Look Like?

In terms of Big Tech, as the saying goes, Oracle walked, so the likes of Google, Facebook, and Amazon could run.

But what, if any, sense would it make for Oracle to acquire TikTok — and how might that possible acquisition reflect on the nature of the viral video app, when it comes to free speech allowed on this super popular Chinese-owned platform? And would the highly controversial Section 230 of the US Communications Decency Act (CDA) see any substantive changes, making Oracle the unexpected free speech champion that the (tech) world needs?

Founded in 1977, Oracle is today one of those under-the-radar yet very powerful US tech behemoths that focus on the enterprise side of the business, selling database management and cloud systems as the core model of amassing vast amounts of money.

Report: Facebook to Allow Posts That Encourage People to Send in Multiple Copies of Their Mail-in Ballots

Facebook is reportedly carving out an exception to its election misinformation rules which will prevent certain posts about mail-in voting from being taken down in the run-up to the 2020 US presidential election, raising questions about potential bias in the censorship of posts related to mail-in voting.

Under section three of Facebook’s community standards, which cover “voter and/or census fraud,” Facebook prohibits “statements that advocate, provide instructions or show explicit intent to illegally participate in a voting or census process.”

But according to a source that spoke with The New York Times, if a Facebook post encourages people to send multiple copies of their mail-in ballots, the company won’t remove it as long as the post is framed as a suggestion or question.

Woke Capitalism: How Huge Corporations Demonstrate Status by Endorsing Political Radicalism

It’s a rather strange claim of the American far left that their interests are opposed to that of corporate America, because there’s virtually no evidence to support it. Quite the contrary: During the wave of Black Lives Matter rioting that took place during the early summer of 2020, American corporations marched in lockstep. Not only did they use social media to swear fealty to this political movement, but they also made massive internal changes in conformity with BLM propaganda.

How a False COVID-19 Narrative Was Created & Sustained for Six Months

Dr. Meryl Nass has compiled a damning checklist that keeps increasing; it currently lists 47 fully documented facts that constitute a case against government officials’ collusion to demonize an effective existing medicine. They even designed clinical trials that required high doses of hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine that were known — to the medical profession — to be toxic and potentially lethal. These officials bear responsibility for causing preventable deaths of possibly hundreds of thousands of patients.

Following publication by The Lancet of a demonstrably FRAUDULENT study, the World Health Organization suspended its hydroxychloroquine studies and urged countries around the world to suspend both their clinical trials, and prevent doctors from using the drug for Covid. Several governments did ban the use of the drug. Some, like Switzerland, lifted the ban after the Lancet study was retracted two weeks after publication.

Switzerland, which had been using the drug for months, banned Hydroxychloroquine from May 27th until June 11th. Here is the Johns Hopkins graph documenting the precipitous increase in the case fatality rate (CFR) — i.e., preventable deaths that occurred in Switzerland during the 13-day period during which patients were denied this life-saving treatment.

US, Slovenia to ‘Exclude Untrusted Vendors’ From 5G

(ANSA-AFP) — BLED, 13 AGO — The US and Slovenia signed a declaration Thursday to “exclude untrusted vendors” from 5G networks as the Trump administration continues its campaign to persuade allies to shun Chinese telecoms giant Huawei. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, on a tour of central Europe, signed the declaration with his Slovenian counterpart Anze Logar. While the statement did not mention Huawei directly, it commits Slovenia to “a thorough evaluation of providers and chains of distribution and a strict commitment to the rule of law”. In remarks to journalists afterwards Pompeo talked about the “threat” of “the Chinese Communist Party and its drive to control people and information and our economies”. “The tide is turning against the Chinese Communist party and its efforts to restrict freedom for all of us,” he said. Speaking alongside Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa on the shores of the scenic Lake Bled, Pompeo said the declaration will “benefit the people of this country and all of us who share information across complex network systems”. Jansa said the US is “the only power in Western civilisation capable of coping with this complex threat”. “Slovenia is ready to engage in those efforts to make them successful,” Jansa added. Jansa said relations with Russia and China had to be based on core Western values. “We should take into consideration the strategic interest of our civilisation that has its foundations in security, freedom, the rule of law and democracy,” Jansa said. “These principles should be the starting point for seeking common positions between the EU and the US towards Russia and China,” he added. Separately in a statement, Huawei said that declarations of the kind signed on Thursday “will slow down the introduction of 5G technology and make it more expensive for users”. In addition, such agreements contradict the “EU’s principle of a common approach in the cybersecurity field and, in fact, do not prevent… possible cyber crime”, the statement carried by Slovenia’s STA agency said. Pompeo has already visited the Czech Republic as part of this trip and after Slovenia will continue on to Austria and Poland. His visit to Slovenia — birthplace of US First Lady Melania Trump — is the first by a US Secretary of State since 2001. Last month, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson reversed his decision to allow Huawei to roll out Britain’s fast new data network and banned new 5G equipment purchases from January.

Australian Public Servant Fired Over Article That Talked About How Big Tech Has Profited From COVID-19

Lula Sorry for Granting Battisti Asylum

‘Tardy, useless’ apology says slain jeweler’s son

(ANSA) — ROME, 21 AGO — Former Brazilian president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said Friday he was sorry for granting asylum to former Italian leftist terrorist Cesare Battisti on his last day in office at the end of 2010.

Lula apologised to Battisti’s victims.

He said Battisti “fooled us”.

He has been in prison in Italy since January 2019 after being extradited from Brazil, where he fled after becoming a successful crime writer in France.

Battisti, from Sermoneta near Rome, fled France after the end of the Mitterrand Doctrine on sheltering leftist militants from Italy.

Purging the Evil Legacy of Karl Marx

The shocking new Paul Kengor book, The Devil and Karl Marx, doesn’t carry the same nerve-wracking impact as the much-shorter book with the provocative title, Was Karl Marx a Satanist?, but the message is still the same. The “progressive” ideas let loose on the world by the father of communism are based in the other worldly powers of darkness that Karl Marx personally embraced.

With a presidential election approaching, and with Democratic Party candidate Joe Biden declaring, “I will be an ally of the light, not the darkness,” the Kengor book looks at the actual forces of darkness operating in the world today. His publisher is TAN Books, which is also distributing, A Catholic Vote for Trump: The Only Choice in 2020 for Republicans, Democrats, and Independents Alike, making the case for the reelection of President Trump.

Interestingly, Biden’s phrase, “I will be an ally of the light, not the darkness,” was the headline about the speech from the Communist People’s World.

The objectives of Karl Marx, who even wrote poetry about the attraction of evil, were to destroy lives and cause human suffering on a massive scale. He was determined to take down the world with him, and he has succeeded to a great degree. America is now his target from the pit of hell.

  1. I have seen the video of the latest idiot to be shot by the police.

The police have guns drawn and are obviously ordering the man to stop. Instead he ignores them, walks round to the side of his car and reaches inside it. At that point he is shot.

Clearly, the police did not want to shoot him. He reached down into his car, and could have been going for a gun. He had been told to stop at gunpoint and just ignored the police, even though his children were in the car.

His actions were moronic. Anyone told to stop by an armed policeman had better do it. Anyone who ignores that order and reaches into his car is asking to be shot.

The BLM communists will make the most of this, but this seems to be to be a case of an ignorant and arrogant man who simply could not control himself and defied a clear instruction from the police, and paid the price.

    • There was a knife found on the floorboards on the drivers side of the car ,he was either reaching for the knife or drop the knife when shot. The cops were called to the scene originally by a woman who claimed Blake had assaulted her.He had two outstanding warrants the police on the scene were aware of.Last time I check even PC morons would agree a knife is a deadly weapon.

  2. The half [tush]ed warriors never win. Go all out now. Smash grab dump now before the refugees and migrants start digging up their weapons. They have their uniforms. No wait……..

Kyrgyz man raped rapist’s mother of his daughter, but escaped punishment

The district court of the Jalal-Abad region denied a 57-year-old resident of Kara-Suu to appeal against the verdict against the man who raped her in early April this year. He entered her house at night and committed violence, claiming that this was revenge for the fact that the victim’s son also allegedly raped his daughter. But thanks to the legal illiteracy of the victim, the rapist escaped punishment: all the terms for the revision of the sentence passed.

    http://www.news-asia.ru/view/accidents/14147

    • It would be interesting if this became a more common occurrence following cases of rape. Sadly the alleged rapist of his daughter was not the first choice for the recipient of such revenge. Certainly there could be some creativity in the choice of implement to use on the rapist.

If this became a widespread trend in Europe to deal with the rapes perpetrated by orcs upon the native inhabitants then there would likely be far fewer rapes in short order.

Just another example of how miscarriage of justice by the legitimate authorities inevitably leads to vigilante methods to deal with criminal behavior.

  4. Before the Spanish Civil war finally broke the government just would not take action. Even though, “Just the sight or presence of one of “them” was enough to send a local into a rage”. Anyway this is 2020 and we are almost there. It won’t be long now. Possibly I imagine.
