Austin Police, Texas State Troopers Prevent Violence and Arrest Many

Rumors and intel flew around for days leading up to Saturday, August 1. Dozens of activists were being bused into Austin, Texas, from Portland and Seattle to do to this city what they have done to both of those. Rumors suggested they wanted to destroy Austin police headquarters, the Texas state capitol, or both.

Downtown apartment residents received flyers warning them that the outsiders might attempt to gain entry to their buildings to get to the roof.

Aversion to Tyranny

In fact, freedom of speech is under fierce attack in America today. You’d think we were living in Russia or China, the way people are being fired for their personal opinions not even expressed on their job. Voices that contradict a mainstream narrative are being silenced by the hundreds or even thousands. That is not freedom of speech or expression…

Baltimore Sees Increase in Domestic Violence-Related Calls During COVID-19 Pandemic

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Baltimore City has seen an increase in domestic violence calls since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. This comes as national statistics show an increase in domestic violence cases as victims are forced to stay at home with their abusers.

Black Lives Matter: “We Will Burn Down This System” — Part II

Multinational companies, philanthropic foundations and private citizens have been donating tens of millions of dollars to Black Lives Matter (BLM), and a recent survey by the Pew Research Center has found that more than two-thirds of Americans support the BLM movement.

While Gatestone Institute and doubtless many others wish that blacks and all minorities benefit from the equal opportunities and protections offered by the U.S. Constitution, the high level of backing for BLM raises the question: How much does the public really know about BLM?

Part I of this series revealed the anti-American agenda of Black Lives Matter, which, under the guise of fighting racism, seeks to transform the United States into a communist dystopia. BLM’s leaders openly admit that they want to abolishthe nuclear family, police, prisons and capitalism.

A federal law enforcement document reviewed by Breitbart Texas reports that “protesters” who attacked the Atlanta Field Office of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) embedded nails into commercial-grade fireworks. The devices were reportedly discovered after the protest ended Sunday morning.

Breitbart Texas reviewed an FBI “activity alert” regarding the use of modified fireworks during the demonstrations in Atlanta, which began on July 25. The alert states that approximately 100 to 200 people dressed in dark clothing, backpacks, goggles, and helmets approached the ICE office in Atlanta. The subjects reportedly carried shields, bats, and large sticks.

Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine Induced Adverse Reactions in ‘More Than Half’ of Trial Participants

A highly anticipated clinical trial for a potential COVID-19 vaccine managed in part by the American drug company Moderna has resulted is some adverse effects in more than half of the trial’s participants, with one test group reporting “severe” symptoms.

The trial, which is also being sponsored by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, administered the vaccine “as a 0.5-ml injection in the deltoid muscle” in two shots spaced about one month apart. Two separate groups received 25-microgram and 100-microgram doses, respectively. A third group with a 250-microgram dose was subsequently added.

The vaccine “induced anti—SARS-CoV-2 immune responses in all participants,” the research team reported Tuesday in the New England Journal of Medicine. Researchers said that “no trial-limiting safety concerns were identified.” Yet a majority of participants still reported at least one side effect.

The High Court has ruled against convicted terrorist Mohammed Zahir Khan who demanded to be released early from prison after he claimed that the government’s new rule which mandates terrorists serve the majority of their sentences was a breach of his human rights and discriminated against Muslims.

Parliament passed emergency legislation in late February that ended the automatic release of terrorists halfway through standard time-limited sentences. Instead, terrorists must serve at least two-thirds of their sentence in jail before being considered for parole. The Parole Board will only consider release before the end of their sentence if the terrorist is deemed not a risk to society.

KSK: German Special Forces Company Dissolved Due to Far-Right Concerns

The German Defense Ministry has dissolved an elite wing of the armed forces due to allegations of far-right extremism within its ranks, it announced on Thursday.

Plans to dismantle the 2nd company of the Special Commando Forces (KSK) were initially announced four weeks ago by Defense Minister Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer.

The move is part of wider measures to combat right-wing extremism within the armed forces.

The KSK has been part of the German Army, the Bundeswehr, since 1996. The group focuses on anti-terrorism operations and hostage rescues from hostile areas. Its members have served in Afghanistan and the Balkans, but its operations are kept secret.

It came under fire after several scandalous incidents, including one party in April 2017 where soldiers played with pig heads while listening to extreme-right rock music and performing the banned Nazi salute.

Algeria: Cabinet Wants to Reduce Hydrocarbons’ Relevance

Tebboune, ‘we are investing in small companies, startups’

NAPLES — Algeria will implement a government plan to reduce the weight of hydrocarbons on the national economy, said the president Abdelmadjid Tebboune, stressing that “the richness of hydrocarbons is a blessing but the absence of justice and the persistence of a spirit of reliance have transformed this blessing into an evil. It is time to convert this richness into a tool of development”.

The turning point comes during the Covid-19 crisis when Algeria’s reliance on oil exports has exposed the country to price fluctuations in the sector which represents nearly 96% of exports, according to statistics.

The new program vies to lower the percentage of hydrocarbons in the national economy by the end of 2021 and, in order to succeed, the government wants to accelerate business investments by helping the creation of small and medium-sized companies. The government is also expected to focus on the agricultural sector.

“The economy of knowledge and intelligence — continued Tebboune — is the basis of the project, especially Algeria which hides a great richness that has not been exploited yet.

Unfortunately, a certain mentality has influenced the national economy for decades to the point where we are now forced to import vines, something which is unacceptable. The economy can’t continue to rely on hydrocarbons, it is necessary to look for alternative resources in which the human resource will be the basis to kick start the economy”.

The surprised Pikachu meme is the only way I’m able to express how I feel about this. Did people not see this coming when they were enthusiastically sending their DNA to some random company just so they can make a social media post about how black they are? I digress.

Apparently, researchers became aware of the breach when they suddenly got far more matches on a DNA sample as usual — signifying that related DNA data was found. Except, a lot of that new data seemed spammy in nature, or belonged to suspected murderers and rapists.
