Gates of Vienna News Feed 7/11/2020

The Italian government has seized the migrant-ferry vessel Sea-Watch 3, which has been docked under quarantine in Sicily at Port Empedocle since it offloaded more than 200 migrants, some of them infected with COVID-19. Meanwhile, migrants who have been under quarantine in Sicily have been able to leave their residence and roam the town of Siculiana at will, because police have been ordered not to forcibly return them.

In other news, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that the former cathedral of Hagia Sophia in Constantinople will open for prayers as a mosque on July 24. Mr. Erdogan said that people of other faiths are welcome to visit the new mosque.

Major Tax Increases Are About to Slam America as Cities & States Want You to Pay for COVID Fallout

Just prior to the global Coronavirus outbreak, serious signs of an emerging financial crisis began to emerge. As people were beginning to realize that yet another central bank engineered ‘bust’ was coming down on us, we were thrown into lockdown, shuttering millions of businesses and sending millions of people to the unemployment line.

Cops Raid Mansion of St. Louis Couple Who Defended Home From Protesters, Confiscate AR-15

St. Louis authorities confiscated an AR-15 used by Mark McCloskey, who made headlines with his wife Patricia last month when they defended their historic mansion from protesters who had broken down a gate to trespass on their private road.

Police executed a search warrant Friday evening at the McCloskey’s home, seizing the rifle used in the June 28 incident, according to KSDK. The couple said their attorney was in possession of the pistol Patricia McCloskey brandished during the confrontation. The raid comes two weeks after St. Louis circuit attorney Kimberly Gardner vowed to work with the St. Louis Police Department to conduct an investigation into the incident.

According to the report, there are no charges against the McCloskeys at this time, as the warrant was just for the guns.

Coronavirus Cancels Pelosi Husband’s Bohemian Grove Ceremony

Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul will not be able to attend this year’s Bohemian Grove ceremony at the Bohemian Club in Monte Rio, California, where he is a member, because the event has been cancelled due to Coronavirus. The Bohemian Grove ceremony is attended by some of the most powerful men in American politics, business, and media. The ceremony usually takes place the second week of July.

Wikileaks published the Bohemian Grove’s 2008 guest list, which included Pelosi, Donald Rumsfeld, and many other globalist elites. Pelosi also appeared on the 2018 guest list alongside James Baker, George H.W. Bush and many other titans of our misbegotten modernity.

Alex Jones famously infiltrated Bohemian Grove and filmed the “Cremation of Care” ceremony in which the elite guests practice a faux-sacrifice ritual to a statue believed to be Moloch, the demonic “god” of child sacrifice, or possibly Minerva according to some.

Court Tells Green-Energy Prof to Pay $600k After Dropping His Own Case

A Stanford professor who sued a critic and a scientific journal for $10 million — then dropped the suit — has been ordered to pay the defendants’ legal fees based on a statute “designed to provide for early dismissal of meritless lawsuits filed against people for the exercise of First Amendment rights.”

Mark Jacobson, who studies renewable energy at Stanford, sued in September 2017 in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia for defamation over a 2017 paper in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) that critiqued a 2015 article he had written in the same journal.

He sued PNAS and the first author of the paper, Christopher Clack, an executive at a firm that analyzes renewable energy.

Movie Theater Giants Sue New Jersey Over “Unconstitutional” COVID-19 Closures

For the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic forced businesses to shutter across the nation, the movie theater industry is going to court claiming constitutional injury. On Monday night, AMC, Cinemark and Regal were among the exhibition giants to allege that New Jersey Governor Philip Murphy can’t keep theaters closed any longer.

“By this Complaint, Plaintiffs challenge Defendants’ unconstitutional and unlawful distinctions in allowing certain places of public assembly to reopen, while requiring movie theatres to remain closed,” states a complaint being led by the National Association of Theatre Owners of New Jersey. “COVID-19 represents a serious public health risk, and Plaintiffs support fair and reasonable actions by the government to address that risk. However, the government-mandated total closure of movie theatres is neither fair nor reasonable, and is instead a violation of Plaintiffs’ First Amendment rights of freedom of speech and freedom of expression, Equal Protection of the laws, Due Process under the law, and is a Taking of property without just compensation.”

Scott Jensen Being Investigated for Blowing the Whistle on Government’s COVID-19 Death Toll

Scott Jensen, the doctor and senator from Minnesota, who blew the whistle on the government’s gross over-exaggeration of COVID-19 deaths is being investigated. Jensen shared documents proving Health and Human Services demanded healthcare workers list as many deaths as possible as COVID-19 deaths, whether they were tested or not.

Not that the tests matter anyway with a 50-80% (depending on the study) false-positive rate. Jensen is now under investigation after someone complained about him sharing the fact that the government needs to count as many deaths in the United States as possible as COVID-19. We featured Jensen when he first broke the news a few months ago:

Britain Concretes Over Almost 835,000 Acres as Mass Migration Drives Housing Demand

Almost 835,000 acres have been concreted over in Britain, new data shows, while the so-called Conservative Party wants to build over even more green belt land to make way for new housing.

Satellite analysis revealed that between 1990 and 2015, a total of 1,303 square miles (3,376 square kilometres) in Britain was lost to urban sprawl.

Overall, grasslands were reduced by an astonishing 2,960 square miles (7,668 square kilometres), or 1.9 million acres — although a portion of this was replaced by woodland.

“I Could Live With That”: How the CIA Made Afghanistan Safe for the Opium Trade

“I decided I could live with that.” — Stansfield Turner, Jimmy Carter’s CIA director, on the extreme level of civilian casualties in the CIA’s covert war in Afghanistan.

The first indelible image of the war in Afghanistan for many Americans was probably that of CBS anchorman Dan Rather, wrapped in the voluminous drapery of a mujahedin fighter, looking like a healthy relative of Lawrence of Arabia (albeit with hair that seemed freshly blow-dried, as some viewers were quick to point out). From his secret mountainside “somewhere in the Hindu Kush,” Rather unloaded on his audience a barrowload of nonsense about the conflict. The Soviets, Rather confided portentously, had put a bounty on his head “of many thousands of dollars.” He went on, “It was the best compliment they could have given me. And having a price put on my head was a small price to pay for the truths we told about Afghanistan.”

Every one of these observations turned out to be entirely false. Rather described the government of Hafizullah Amin as a “Moscow-installed puppet regime in Kabul.” But Amin had closer ties to the CIA than he did to the KGB. Rather called the mujahedin the “Afghan freedom fighters … who were engaged in a deeply patriotic fight to the death for home and hearth.” The mujahedin were scarcely fighting for freedom, in any sense Rather would have been comfortable with, but instead to impose one of the most repressive brands of Islamic fundamentalism known to the world, barbarous, ignorant and notably cruel to women.

It was a “fact,” Rather announced, that the Soviets had used chemical weapons against Afghan villagers. This was a claim promoted by the Reagan administration, which charged that the extraordinarily precise number of 3,042 Afghans had been killed by this yellow chemical rain, a substance that had won glorious propaganda victories in its manifestation in Laos a few years earlier, when the yellow rain turned out to be bee feces heavily loaded with pollen. As Frank Brodhead put it in the London Guardian, “Its composition: one part bee feces, plus many parts State Department disinformation mixed with media gullibility.”

Hungary: Court Hands Prison Sentence to Migrants Breaking Through Röszke Border Fence

An appeals court in Szeged, in southern Hungary, has sentenced four illegal migrants to one year imprisonment for breaking through the border fence at a road crossing in Röszke, on the Hungary-Serbia border, in January this year.

In its binding ruling passed on Tuesday, the appeals court also ruled that the two Syrian and two Palestinian defendants should be expelled from the country for two years once they have served their prison terms, thus reducing four years of expulsion in the primary ruling.

Italy Seizes NGO Vessel That Brought in Coronavirus Positive Migrants

Italian authorities have seized the Sea-Watch 3 vessel, citing several “irregularities” after the ship brought over 200 migrants to Italy last month, many of them infected with the Chinese coronavirus.

The vessel has been docked at the Sicilian port of Porto Empedocle for several weeks after dropping off migrants on June 25th and was under quarantine due to the fact at least 28 of the migrants on board later tested positive for the coronavirus.

Migrants Roam Free in Sicilian Town Despite Quarantine

Migrants placed under coronavirus quarantine in the town of Siculiana have been allowed to essentially roam free, after police were allegedly commanded not to use coercion to stop them breaking lockdown rules.

Police were allegedly ordered to politely ask roving migrants to return to the reception centre under lockdown. The instructions have largely been ignored by many migrants who roam free in the town, according to angry locals.

Max Igan, Silenced for Speaking Against Slavery of Governemnt

Max Igan’s YouTube channel has been permanently removed from YouTube for shedding light on those who are trying to take over the world. It reminds me of a quote I heard in a video a while ago, and I’ll never forget it:

“The things that are going to be blocked are not going to be fake stories. The things that are going to be blocked and censored, the things they are going to keep from people is going to be stuff they just don’t want you to focus on or know about.” — Melissa Dykes

It’s become quite clear that the elitists in power, who are pushing the New World Order of tyrannical dictatorship want people distracted and living in fear. So when a person like Max Igan says things like “stop living in fear and leave the Matrix [the system these psychopaths set up]” he cannot be allowed to speak anymore.

Mass censorship has been happening all over in the previous years, but it’s really ramped up in 2020 as people wake up to the fact that they are being lied to and mind-controlled by the mainstream media. Since Igan’s video that we shared not long ago was removed, here it is from the Bitchute platform, a centralized way to share information and opinions that the ruling class doesn’t want to focus on or know about:

PANIC! Time Mag Says 2020 is ‘One Last Chance’ To Save Planet

It’s the end of civilization. Again.

Eco-extremists in the liberal media can’t even give themselves a 10-year gap for their end-of-the-world predictions.

The latest Time magazine cover declared that 2020 is our last, best chance to save the planet. Run for your lives!

Time announced the new cover on Twitter.

The cover article was written by Justin Worland, the same author who co-wrote the “TIME 2019 Person of the Year: Greta Thunberg.”

The Groupthink Pandemic

Groupthink is all around us. Decision-making in government, in the media and at work. It’s slowly killing the world.

In the background of the most important events, the Covid-19 response and increasing tension and conflict in the world, it might be worth looking through some of this in a bit more detail…

Groupthink is common where group members have similar backgrounds and particularly where that group is placed under stress, resulting in irrational decision outcomes.

The obvious analogy for all these behaviors is the response to Covid-19 when government ministers were collectively panicked into making extreme decisions on lockdown, using just one preferred source of ‘expertise’.

At the same time, they sidelined dissenters and independent experts who could have offered a calm, rational perspective and a targeted response to Covid-19.

    • It’s very hard to say at this point. I think polls are unreliable, but they say it will be Biden, for what it’s worth. And I assume many people are afraid to openly show their support for the president, because they know what happens to people who do that.

In other words, your guess is as good as mine.

      • Regardless of whichever one wins or cheats their way to victory, the likely post election public disobedience, defiance, rioting, and violence will make the current troubles look like a scuffle in a schoolyard compared to what’s to come. Some observations I have read claim that Americans are too obese and sedentary to ever have another guerilla war or insurrection. It is an interesting speculation and one we will likely have the answer to soon enough.

        • It amazes me that a few months of austere living really takes off the pounds. It makes one fit in no time because they are forced to.

  1. So there is an invisible virus ravaging the earth with cries of bring out your dead on every street corner but immigration continues?

    • It isn’t immigration. It is a deliberate invasion of the West provoked by the likes of Soros and other multi billionaire elites for the sole purpose of destroying ethnic homogeneity in the targeted countries.

Words have power and we would be wise to remember to use them properly otherwise we surrender moral advantage to those who use hordes of third world orcs as weapons against the nations of the west.

      • Reading up on the Kalergi plan. The UN even calls it “Replacement Migration” in their agitprop.

    • Yes, I am. Dymphna and I have written numerous times on Episcopalian topics, notably during the tenure (reign?) of Katharine Jefferts, the previous presiding bishop who looked like Muammar Qaddafi.

      • I´m asking this for one reason. Generally, when we are younger we are progressive but with the time we became conservative.

In this journey, that is a kind of conversion, we understand how we are progressive educated by media, school, university and so on
and I see a lot of people change their pre-conceptive ideas about God, religion, etc.

One pre-conceptive idea is the strong criticism about the Catholic Church that changes when we became conservative. Have you ever passed by it? Have you anytime have ever thought about being catholic?

        thanks, Alerj

        • Oh yes, I have thought about becoming Catholic. My wife was Catholic. The thing is, there isn’t a Catholic Church in our county.

In any case, I would never consider becoming a Catholic as long as the communist Bergoglio is Pope. And any institution that would choose him as its leader leaves something to be desired.

  2. Erdogan has called for the ‘liberation’ of the Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
Holy War Batman! He wants to march on Jerusalem to liberate the Byzantine Cathedral that the muslims took over and have occupied for the past 1,400 years.

    • secretely,I have wished that the great leader would attempt a march on Jerusalem. This would teach the islamic world a lesson they will not forget in thousand years. The “Samson Option”, if this concept exists…
p.s. someone here from Israel to confirm or deny?

  3. The disgusting defecation story out of France is yet another example of “humiliation violence” that has been a favorite tactic by invaders as of late.

    • It IS a [mass of nonsense]. People are racists against them in every country because they are violent. I know. I am racist against Black Lives (don’t) Matter (to blacks)

  4. National suicide has already been committed. “Young people” will try to wake up and stretch but find “they” can’t. I imagine.
