Corona-Depression: Southern Europe Will Never Recover

If southern Europe does not recover economically, we can expect continued depopulation as their fertility rates remain depressed and their more enterprising youth, particularly the educated, head north. These nations’ financial and political dependence on the north will grow. North-European economies will of course benefit from the inflow of southern European immigrants, partly counteracting the effects of Afro-Islamic immigration.

Politically, we have fertile ground for instability. The Macron régime is already barely able to keep the more uppity elements of the (neo-)French population — whether white gilets-jaunes or Afro-Islamic BLM marchers — at bay.

Italy looks to be on the verge of explosion. Both the political establishment and the people at large are becoming anti-EU. The inchoate populist-leftoid Five-Sar Movement has collapsed. Matteo Salvini’s nationalist Lega is being outflanked . . . by the even more nationalist Brothers of Italy.

Imagine that the euro-globalist establishment in these countries will now have to manage these pressures with additional grinding years of mass unemployment and belt-tightening. Italy has strong prospects for decisively flipping to a national-populist regime in the coming years and joining the ranks of Visegrad. (I am less optimistic for France.)

In the long run, I am talking 30-40 years, we can expect that northern Europe will become so dysfunctional that people prefer living in southern or eastern Europe. Non-Whites currently make up around 20% of the north-west European population. When this rises to 40 or 50%, we can expect the situation to get very unstable indeed.

“We Offered the Prayer of Exorcism — Because Evil is Present Here” — San Francisco Archbishop Cordileone Holds Exorcism at Site Where Leftists Desecrated Statue of St. Junipero Serra

The statue of St. Junipero Serra was desecrated and toppled this past week in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park.

Serra was canonized a saint by Pope Francis in 2015 and statues of him have been vandalized in California on multiple occasions due to his work attempting to convert native Americans to Catholicism. Serra built several missions in California from San Diego to San Francisco. The Spanish priest believed that it was tragic to allow people to die without having converted, while death for someone a believer was something to be celebrated.

Protestant Pastors Fear Deportation From Turkey

Tensions have been growing between the Turkish government and the country’s Christian community. Religious freedom is in jeopardy, as the Subasigüller case illustrates.

For the past ten years, Joy Anna Crow Subasigüller had enjoyed a happy life in Turkey. The US citizen had married a Turkish man and started a family. But then, one day, Turkey’s migration department surprisingly refused to renew her residence permit — without providing any specific explanation.

“This decision makes me very sad — I love Turkey and the Turkish people,” Subasigüller told DW. “I have lived here for ten years, they were the best years of my life,” she adds. She says she is a stay-at-home-mother, who poses no threat to Turkey at all.

The mother of three suspects Turkey’s decision to deport her has to do with her husband, who works as a Protestant pastor in the capital Ankara. The couple plans to contest the decision in court, hoping it will reveal the real reason why Joy Anna Crow Subasigüller now faces deportation.

Why Was There a Massive Explosion Near Tehran in Iran?

A massive explosion near Tehran lit up the sky on Thursday night, so brightly that it looked like the sun for a split second. Iran’s official story is that a gas storage facility had a minor accident and no one was harmed. It was “fortunate,” Iran’s official account says. Nothing to be concerned about. Video shows a small pipe had burst open and exploded.

Iran’s own Press TV showed the glowing explosion. There is a lot of speculation that the facility that exploded is more than just a gas leak. It has links to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and missiles. Others suggested it has links to a nuclear facility and the military. Villages near the facility were likely affected and residents may know more. All of this points to a questionable incident.

A facility that just happens to be near one of Iran’s major areas for producing rockets and also linked to the country’s nuclear research and nuclear program? At the very least you don’t want those kinds of sensitive sites just blowing up without any clear explanation.

Hindu Girl Heckled for Requesting to Lower Down Volume of Azaan Blaring From a Mumbai Mosque

Jihadi people tried to attack the police and protestants.

Sumedha Shinde | HENB | Mumbai | June 28, 2020:: A Hindu girl in the Mankhurd region of Mumbai was bullied by Muslim residents for raising her voice against the blaring of Prayer Call (azaan) in high volume from a neighbourhood mosque in her area.

However, when she reached the mosque with her plea, a raft of belligerent Muslims accosted her and intimidated her for requesting to reduce the volume of azaan.

In a series of tweets, Ms Karishma expressed the ordeal she had to go through at the mosque on Twitter. She alleged that within minutes of visiting the mosque for asking them to lower the volume of the loudspeaker, scores of people gathered in the mosque, including men and women and entered into an altercation with her.

As can be seen in the above video, a Muslim woman gets in a war of words with Ms Karishma, presumably to intimidate her for registering her disapproval against the high volume of azaan roaring through the loudspeakers.

In the subsequent tweets, Ms Karishma shared videos from the mosque where patrons of the mosque were seen shouting slogans against her in presence of the police officials who were trying to pacify the situation.

In the ensuing commotion, it can be seen that the police officials walk her out of the mosque premises even as people keep shouting and intimidating her. One of the voices in the background ominously shouts, “Masjid tere baap ki hai kya?” which roughly translates to “Is the mosque owned by your father”. The crowd gathered at the mosque went berserk and even police officials who were at the spot to placate the emotions had to bear the brunt of the fury of Muslims in the mosque…

Is the Space for Critical Thinking Shrinking in Pakistan?

A number of liberal academics have been sacked by their universities, allegedly over their anti-government stance. Rights groups have expressed grave concerns over a shrinking space for dissent in Pakistan.

Ammar Ali Jan, a prominent Pakistani academic and activist, recently said on Twitter that he would be parting ways with Lahore’s Forman Christian College (FCC), where he taught political science.

Jan is a renowned progressive scholar who participates regularly in social and political movements. He has been vocal against alleged military atrocities in the insurgency-marred Baluchistan province. He also lends support to the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) in the country’s northwestern areas.

“After I participated in a student demonstration, the government registered a sedition case against me. The university administration told me to stay away from these activities and warned that they would take action against me if I didn’t knuckle under,” Jan told DW, adding that educational institutions in Pakistan are being pressured by authorities to toe their line.

China Versus the World an Emboldened Beijing Seeks to Consolidate Its Power

Beijing is ruthlessly expanding its power. But resistance is growing around the world — and Germany will soon play a key role.

The Galwan Valley in the Himalayas is located at an altitude of 4,000 meters (13,123 feet). It is a remote area where the slopes are covered in snow all year round. Last week, the valley made an appearance on the global political stage. China and India, the two most populous countries on the planet faced off along their — disputed — Himalayan border. The exact location of where one country ends and the next begins has long been unsettled. Indeed, the two countries went to war over it in 1962.

As the two nuclear-armed states clashed, at least 20 Indian soldiers were killed on the night of June 15. There were also reports of deaths on the Chinese side.

For the first time in almost half a century, the rivalry between the two neighbors has cost human lives. No shots are said to have been fired. Patrols in the area generally don’t carry firearms. Both governments are apparently aware that they could easily trigger a world war. The soldiers may have beaten each other to death with stones and clubs. Some are said to have fallen into a ravine during the fighting.

The incident shows how quickly the situation in Asia can escalate and how a cold war can turn into a hot one at any given moment, despite the high level of caution.

In the Galwan Valley, claims and interests collide. On the one side, there’s the People’s Republic of China, which is expanding its power in the region. In late April, while India was preoccupied with a worsening coronavirus crisis, the Chinese army is said to have moved troops into the border area and encroached on Indian territory in several places. At least that’s what the government in New Delhi says.

On the other side, there are countries like India that don’t want to put up with China’s expansionism.

It isn’t only the Chinese-Indian relationship that’s tense. Resistance against China is growing in many parts of the world. Conflicts sometimes take place openly, as in the case of India, and at others covertly.

“What we are seeing now is just the beginning of a global backlash,” says Indian geostrategist Brahma Chellaney.

Decoupling From China

Beijing’s growing strength is leading to a “fundamental shifting” of the global balance of power, says NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, adding that in the future, the Western military alliance should cooperate more closely with “like-minded countries,” such as Australia, Japan, New Zealand and South Korea. NATO must “stand up for a world built on freedom and democracy, not on bullying and coercion.” Stoltenberg didn’t have to mention China by name. Everyone knows who he meant…

“32,000 Christians Butchered to Death”: The Persecution of Christians, May 2020

The following are among the abuses Muslims inflicted on Christians throughout the month of May 2020:

The Slaughter of Christians

Nigeria: From January 2020 to mid-May 2020, Muslim terrorists massacred at least 620 Christians (470 by Fulani herdsmen and 150 by Boko Haram). According to a May 14 report:

“Militant Fulani Herdsmen and Boko Haram … have intensified their anti-Christian violence … with hacking to death in the past four months and half of 2020 of no fewer than 620 defenseless Christians, and wanton burning or destruction of their centers of worship and learning. The atrocities against Christians have gone unchecked and risen to alarming apogee with the country’s security forces and concerned political actors looking the other way or colluding with the Jihadists. Houses burnt or destroyed during the period are in their hundreds; likewise dozens of Christian worship and learning centers.”

The report further states that, since 2009, “not less than 32,000 Christians have been butchered to death by the country’s main Jihadists.”

The raft, built for a capacity of seven, left the French town of Dunkirk late Friday and a passenger was able to make an emergency call several hours later.

The Belgian coast guard rescued the passengers about 11 kilometres (six miles) offshore and took them to the port of Ostende.

The passengers, all male adults, were from Egypt, Afghanistan, Iraq and Kuwait, a prosecutors statement said.

Prince Harry and Meghan Reportedly Lobbying Companies to Pull Ads From Facebook Over “Hate Speech”

What’s wrong with Facebook’s advertising business, you might ask? So many things.

Surely most importantly and conspicuously, it’s the fact that together with Google, this (fundamental) portion of Facebook’s business takes up so much space in the global digital market that they form what is pretty much tantamount to a duopoly, while both giants unabashedly feed on their trillion-dollar business off of their users’ personal data, routinely sold to the highest third-party ad bidder.

But — that’s not exactly what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle worry about. When they criticize Facebook’s ad business, they somehow utterly unsurprisingly go for the skin-deep, or even non-existent problems with the platform — certainly not merely as relevant as the deeply ingrained problems that have plagued the social media giant for more than a decade now.

Radical Feminist Who Argued for the Extermination of Men Glorified in the ‘NY Times’

The New York Times has been running a series of “obituaries” of “Overlooked” people who were not given an obit in the newspaper at the time of their death. They include people of color, feminists, queers, gays — anyone that the Times thinks now should have had an obit when they passed.

Of course, this leads to some rather interesting choices.

  • Kate Worley — a “pioneering” writer of erotic comics.
  • FN Souza — India’s anti-establishment writer
  • Roberta Cowell — trans trailblazer, pilot, and auto racer

And other minor historical figures.

But today’s installment of “Overlooked” is a doozy. Valerie Solanas was a writer, of sorts, whose main claim to fame is that she put a bullet in Andy Warhol in 1968. She apparently thought that Warhol and his friend, French publisher Maurice Girodias, were conspiring against her so she walked into Warhol’s New York apartment and shot him.

Warhol survived and Solanas ended up in a mental institution for a few months. But as a radical feminist, her obscure, nonsensical writing somehow survives.

  2. Re France: Extinction Rebellion… call to ban domestic flights.

They have a legitimate point; France, like most countries in western Europe, has an excellent rail network; going by air may be marginally quicker, but there’s little in it.

  3. Mitch McConnell joined Nancy Pelosi to force every American to “obey the mask”. These people are so detached from the rest of us they live and breath behind a mask of indifference. All the while they do absolutely nothing to protect our communities from an insurgent force of domestic terrorists aided and enabled by certain treasonous governing leaders in left bent states.

Traitors that are defunding the thin blue line between us and those very same insurgent domestic terrorist groups. All the while if we do anything to protect ourselves or remedy those who wish to destroy our Constitutional Republic we are vilified and attacked by their Fifth Columns in the mainstream media.

They’ve fully entered into the trap prepared for them to expose their true intentions. Everybody can see them now for the evil ravenous monsters we’ve always known them to be. Like parasites infesting and living off their prey. By exposing themselves they can now be disgorged and annihilated. And imagine it only took a little pain for a lot of gain. Parasites like McConnell, Pelosi, Schumer and the rest of them are finished and I think by their current actions they know it too. See y’all on the other side.

  4. Nanci Pelosi is very rich, but a tough old bird. A BLM crow sandwich, perhaps.
