“If I Didn’t Have a Primary, I Wouldn’t Care”: Dem NY Rep. Caught on Hot Mic at George Floyd Rally

Rep. Eliot Engel (D-NY) was caught on a hot mic at a George Floyd rally in New York Tuesday as he tried to persuade Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. to allow him to address the crowd.

Apparently explaining why there was no time for Engel to speak, Diaz said, “Then I’ve got to go down the list, and there’s just too many folks here.”

Engels replied, “If I didn’t have a primary, I wouldn’t care.”

“Say that again?” Diaz said.

“If I didn’t have a primary, I wouldn’t care,” Engels repeated.

“Don’t do that to me,” Diaz replied.

Antifa Arrests Coming, Concerns Over Riots Heading to Suburbia, Government Source Says

Agitators behind the rioting that has paralyzed the country over the past week want to move into more suburban areas, a government intelligence source has told Fox News.

Much of the worry stems from the notion that many in well-armed, suburban, and rural neighborhoods won’t hesitate to exercise their Second Amendment rights and elevated anxieties could lead to heavy confrontation.

“Antifa knows this,” said the source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. “Local and state authorities have to get a grip on this because if it moves to the suburbs, more people will die.”

Apple has frozen the ‘browse’ feature on its music app and replaced it with a playlist that includes the song ‘F**k tha Police’.

Yes, really.

The stunt is part of #BlackoutTuesday, with celebrities and corporations bombarding social media with messages and blacked out squares about how much they support the violent riots, I mean “protests” taking place across America.

When a user tries to access the browse feature on the app, they are met with a message that says “In steadfast support of the Black voices that define music, creativity, and culture we use ours. This moment calls upon us all to speak and act against racism and injustice of all kinds. We stand in solidarity with Black communities everywhere. #TheShowMustBePaused #BlackLivesMatter.”

Asian-American Students Promote Racial Stereotypes by Challenging Harvard Admissions, Scholars Tell Court

As a federal appeals court considers whether Harvard University’s admissions system discriminates against Asian Americans, hundreds of academics contend that the Asian-American students suing Harvard are the ones promoting racial stereotypes.

The 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has been flooded with friend-of-the-court briefs as it analyzes a trial court ruling in favor of Harvard’s “race conscious” admissions system. Students for Fair Admissions, which is representing Asian-American students who claim discrimination, appealed the ruling.

One of the most notable pro-Harvard briefs was submitted in late May by 678 “social scientists and scholars on college access, Asian American studies, and race.” They argue that SFFA is promoting racial stereotypes by claiming Asian Americans tend to have “better grades, better test scores, [and] better scores on AP exams.”

Attorney General Bill Barr’s Criminal Coverup Background

by Kelleigh Nelson

We have a corrupt judiciary, a corrupt Justice Department and a corrupt FBI, and as Trump said when he was campaigning for the office of President in 2016, “The system is crooked.” We have an AG whose inaction is the definitive action regarding the outcome of the election this November. He has not stood up for truth, for justice, for accountability and for doing his job as AG while sitting there saying he doesn’t want to influence the upcoming election. His job is to bring justice and prosecute evil doers, many of whom surround him, not to worry about his influence or the election.

Where are the indictments of the Deep State Criminals? How long must we wait?

Action speaks louder than words and we’ve waited way too long for justice.

Barr’s Father

William Barr’s father is Donald Barr, who was the headmaster at Dalton School in Manhattan which was founded by progressive educator, Helen Parkhurst who took her cues from developmental psychologist Jean Piaget and education reformers such as John Dewey and Horace Mann. Jeffrey Epstein became a professor at the Dalton School. Yes, really!

In 1983 President Reagan nominated Donald Barr to be a member of the National Council on Educational Research.

Donald Barr also had a stint in the precursor to the CIA, the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) during WWII. Prior to that, he described himself as having a Marxist upbringing in terms of his own memoirs and ruminations on education. He had a footnote on the dialectic and stated that as a child he enjoyed being a Marxist and reading Marx and Engels.

Twitter Strips Journalist Peter Lloyd of Verification After He Condemns Riots and Looting

Update — June 2, 2020: Twitter has restored Peter Lloyd’s verification after being contacted for answers.

Twitter has removed journalist Peter Lloyd’s verification badge after he criticized those who have been looting amid the protests and riots that have engulfed multiple cities in the US after the death of George Floyd.

Lloyd wrote that there was “no email, no explanation, no courtesy call or text” from Twitter to explain why he had lost his verification badge.

However, Lloyd speculated that it could be related to his recent tweets where he has condemned looters, argued that “not all cops are bad,” and retweeted Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk’s viral “take the red pill” tweet.

US Surveillance Bill 6666: The Devil in the Details

H.R. 6666 — A ‘Monstrously Unconstitutional’ Bill

Needless to say, many an eyebrow are being raised over the “6666” in the resolution. It seems both unfortunate and ironically apt. As noted by Cheryl Chumley in a May 12, 2020, Washington Times article:

“Mark of the beast. Mark of the beast for a beastly, monstrously unconstitutional bill. After all, what’s more devilishly un-American than launching one of the most massive government surveillance programs of private citizens in U.S. history, all under the guise of protecting people from the coronavirus?”

The government grants — a whopping $100 billion of taxpayer money for 2020 alone — would be used by “eligible entities” to hire employees and buy the supplies needed to conduct testing and contact tracing. This includes sending employees to the residences of citizens to conduct COVID-19 testing.

Entities eligible for grant money include federally qualified health centers, school-based clinics, disproportionate share hospitals, academic medical centers, nonprofit organizations, institutions of higher education, high schools and any other entities determined to be eligible by the Health and Human Services Secretary.

If you test positive, you would then be quarantined either at a mobile health unit or in your own home. Contact tracers would also collect information about anyone you may have come into contact with so that they can be tested and, if needed, quarantined.

As noted by Chumley, just how the government intends to ensure compliance with quarantine remains an unanswered question. We now know that up to 80% of people who test positive remain asymptomatic, and for people who feel fine, being locked up, whether at home or in a mobile unit, for two weeks or more may not be a welcome proposition at this point.

COVID-19 Does Not Warrant Proposed Tracking Measures

In a nutshell, H.R. 6666 calls for taking $100 billion of our taxpayer money to fund our own persecution. I say “persecution,” considering this virus isn’t particularly lethal for people under the age of 80, and has an overall survival rate of about 99% and therefore doesn’t pose a significant threat for the vast majority of the population.

Anger Over Coronavirus Lockdowns Grows Throughout Italy

While feelings of uncertainty and vulnerability both diminished in the last week of May, these were replaced by growing ire at the government’s reluctance to relinquish its stranglehold on society.

Expect Coronavirus Vaccine Failure and Reactions

One vaccine, developed at the University of Oxford Jenner Institute and named ChAdOx1 nCoV-19, uses a “replication-deficient chimpanzee adenovirus to deliver a SARS-CoV-2 protein to induce a protective immune response.” It was tested on six rhesus macaque monkeys, which received the experimental vaccine, then were infected with SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, 28 days later…

Oxford’s vaccine trial results were less than stellar, yet they’ve teamed up with drug maker AstraZeneca and moved on to testing in humans anyway. A Phase 1 trial of the vaccine, funded by the U.K. government, began April 23, 2020, in healthy volunteers in the U.K.12 “Time will tell if this is the best approach. I wouldn’t bet on it,” Haseltine said.

The first two human volunteers were injected with the vaccine in late April 2020. In all, about 1,100 volunteers are expected to receive the vaccine and then mix with the general population to see if they end up catching COVID-19.

Appeals Court in Australia Confirms News Publishers Are Liable for Users’ Comments on Their Facebook Pages

In wild ruling that highlights how badly those enforcing the law don’t properly understand the internet, an Australian Appeals court has allowed a man to sue news outlets for the allegedly defamatory comments made about him by the public in the comments section of their Facebook Pages.

The media houses claim the court ruling is impractical and that they can’t possibly be responsible for the comments that users make to their Facebook Page.

The plaintiff of the defamatory case is Dylan Voller, an ex-NT youth detainee. While at the Don Dale Youth Detention Center, Voller’s mistreatment led to a 2016 royal commission. The young man is claiming damages over ten comments made by the public on the Facebook pages of the Centralian Advocate, Bolt Report, Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian, and Sky News Australia.

Slovenia Launches Border Security Operation as Number of Illegal Migrants Increases

The authorities attribute this to the relaxing of lockdown measures in response to the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Greece’s transfer of thousands of migrants from its overcrowded camps on its islands in the Aegean to the Greek mainland as a social distancing measure, and the coming of spring weather.

I think this is a bad idea.

  3. Re: “Trump says he has done more for the Black Community…”

I’m no great fan of The Donald (he must have had the best education money could buy, yet none of it seems to have rubbed off), and excuse the note of levity, but I recall a joke going around when he was elected: The Democrats haven’t been so disappointed since the Republicans took their slaves away.

  4. Shoot ’em in the leg instead of the heart? I guess Biden has never heard of the femoral artery. One can bleed out quite fast from that being ruptured. What a moron.

  5. Seth Rogen, nobody deserves your movies. Please quit making them and we won’t have to ignore them. Now, go home to your gated community with all that security.

    • I had to look up who he was so I wouldn’t inadvertently watch one of his movies. Now that I know, and know what kinds of films he stars in I believe there is little chance of that happening.

That such trash as his movies can be successful at the box office in this country tells me that we are irretrievably screwed as a nation and are circling the drain…

    • Indeed. When pc acquaintances tell me the West’s prosperity was based on slavery, I like to point out that Sweden, Finland and Switzerland had no overseas empires, and did not participate in the slave trade, yet are relatively prosperous. To paraphrase Ronald Reagan, it’s the industrial (and later technological) revolution, stupid!
