Applications for mortgages for new home purchases increased 26% in May compared with April and were up 10.9% compared with May 2019, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association’s (MBA) Builder Application Survey(BAS).
The 26% month-over-month increase follows a 12% decrease in April.

17 Arrested for Child Pornography Include 2 Disney Employees
Seventeen suspects accused of downloading or distributing child pornography have been arrested and charged, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Department in Florida.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd on Tuesday detailed a number of the arrests, including two Disney World employees, a nurse, an undocumented immigrant, and an IT specialist who Judd said liked to buy and digest soiled underwear.

71 Percent of Americans Reject Privacy Killing Contact Tracing Apps
Almost three quarters of Americans say they will not submit their privacy to contact tracing apps, with Europeans also rejecting the notion outright because they do not trust government to keep their information safe and refrain from misusing it.
A study from Avira reveals that the vast majority of Americans are against contact tracing apps, with 71 percent saying they will not download them, and 75% believing their digital privacy is at risk from the technology.

Activists Push for New Police Oversight Board in Chicago
CHICAGO (AP) — A couple hundred activists gathered outside of Chicago City Hall on Wednesday to call on the mayor and City Council to create a new elected board that would have the power to investigate and fire police officers.
The activists hope to persuade Mayor Lori Lightfoot and the council, who were meeting at City Hall during the protest, to support what is called the Civilian Police Accountability Commission, or CPAC, ordinance, though they have been trying for months without gaining much ground.

Crackdown: Feds Have Indicted More Than 50 Individuals for Rioting During George Floyd Protests

Foreign Interference: UK Govt-Linked Group Attempts to Ban Conservative Websites From Google Ads
A group with direct links to the government of the United Kingdom and to senior members of the UK Labour Party has taken credit for having websites ZeroHedge and The Federalist threatened with suspension of service by Google ads.

Houston Protesters Begin to Fall Ill With Coronavirus After Marching for George Floyd
Increasing numbers of Houston residents have reportedly been diagnosed with COVID-19 after attending protests against the death of George Floyd.
Large protests began in the city days after the death of Houston native Floyd, an unarmed black man who died while police custody in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 25. Texas has been experiencing a surge of new COVID-19 cases. Harris County, which encompasses Houston, has been adding hundreds of new cases each day to the more than 17,000 total confirmed cases reported as of Monday.

Iowa Grandma Promotes Trick to Get Trump to Speak to Empty Room
A 51-year-old Iowa woman has led an effort get President Donald Trump to address an empty auditorium when he speaks at a campaign rally next week.
Mary Jo Laupp posted a video on video sharing platform TikTok last week encouraging her followers to register for Trump’s campaign rally in Oklahoma and then not attend. The plan is designed to purchase as many tickets as possible, forcing the president to address a largely empty auditorium on June 20.
“All of those of us that want to see this 19,000 seat auditorium barely filled or completely empty go reserve tickets now and leave him standing alone there on the stage,” Laupp told her TikTok followers. The platform is known more for dancing teenagers than a stage for people to engage in political advocacy.

Josh Hawley Announces Bill Targeting Bad-Acting Big Tech
Republican Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley announced Wednesday that he is introducing a bill aimed at fighting bad acting tech companies hours after Google threatened a conservative publication with demonetization.
The Limiting Section 230 Immunity to Good Samaritans Act, cosponsored by Republican Representatives Marco Rubio of Florida, Mike Braun of Indiana, and Tom Cotton of Arkansas, would prevent big tech companies from receiving Section 230 immunities unless the companies updated their terms of service, promised to operate in good faith, and promised pay a $5,000 fine if they violated their promise.
“For too long, Big Tech companies like Twitter, Google and Facebook have used their power to silence political speech from conservatives without any recourse for users,” Hawley said in a statement. “Section 230 has been stretched and rewritten by courts to give these companies outlandish power over speech without accountability. Congress should act to ensure bad actors are not given a free pass to censor and silence their opponents.”
Hawley’s announcement comes only a day after Google threatened to ban The Federalist and Zero Hedge from its ad platform, Google Ads, after NBC News published a story claiming that Google had banned both The Federalist and Zero Hedge.

Man Beaten by Gang Says One of Them Shouted “Black Lives Matter”
A man viciously beaten by a gang of young black men in Spring, Texas claimed one of them shouted “black lives matter” after kicking him in the face.

The Minnesota Freedom Fund received backlash Tuesday after admitting that only $200,000 out of the more than $30 million raised by the organization has been used to bail out protesters.
Nationwide protests, some of which escalated into violent riots, began May 25 after the death of George Floyd, a black man who died after a police officer kneeled on his neck for several minutes. As of June 8, over 10,000 people had been arrested while protesting, according to The Guardian.

Never before in the history of the country has the election process system been under greater attack. In the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, heavily funded organizations and lawyers with fat trust deposits have been seeking to undo how we elect the President, Congress and state officials.
Like the rioters in the streets of American cities, they are taking advantage of a crisis to try to fundamentally transform American institutions.
They are seeking to throw out state laws designed to protect the integrity of American elections.
The first target of the election transformation was Congress. Soon after the pandemic reached our shores, House Democrats passed emergency legislation that would have federalized election process rules.
The Constitution decentralizes how we run elections because decentralization promotes individual liberty. When elections are decentralized, no single malevolent actor can manipulate or control the outcome.
During both the Bush and Obama administrations, I worked in the Voting Section at the United States Department of Justice. I witnessed firsthand how federal bureaucrats could manipulate, coerce and threaten state officials who did not conform to the bureaucrat’s sensibilities about how elections should be run.
Naturally the federal government has a role in ensuring that elections are conducted in a way that complies with federal laws and the Constitution. For example, the 15th Amendment and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 do not allow discrimination on the basis of race.
But apart from these limited federal carve-outs, the Constitution vests states with the power to run their own elections and set the qualifications to vote.
The bill that passed the House would have mandated automatic vote by mail in every state. It would have mandated same-day voter registration as well as weeks of early voting. It would have banished voter photo identification laws. It would have legalized vote harvesting in every state. Other proposals in Congress would have allowed mail ballots to be counted even if they were not postmarked by election day.
What the bills would actually do is foment chaos. The election would not be decided on election day. Millions of mail ballots would keep appearing, keep rolling in, until there were enough votes to make the difference. If there was a dispute, lawyers would steal the show, subjecting America to weeks of post-election court contests to force a particular outcome.
Making all of this even worse are the hundreds of millions of dollars that leftist foundations dedicate to this process fight. There is money for media outlets to publish stories that voter fraud is a myth. They even lend struggling newspapers foundation-funded “reporters” to work for free, as long as they publish stories saying voter fraud is a myth.

Seattle Adds Concrete Barricades to CHOP
The City of Seattle isn’t quite as big as it was a month ago. Well, technically, it’s the same size, but the among of real estate answerable to the local government is smaller by about six blocks.
The CHOP, formerly the CHAZ—which I was partial to myself—takes up a fair bit of real estate and claims that it doesn’t answer to any government except themselves. Signs on the border make that very clear.

Suspect Wanted for Burning of 3rd Minneapolis Police Precinct Arrested in Colorado
On Tuesday, the U.S. Marshals Service, alongside with the ATF, announced a 22-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection to the fire set at the Minneapolis Police Department’s 3rd Precinct last month.

The Long Awaited Tet Offensive Designed to Destroy America is Underway

Twitter Mob Attacks ‘Officer Karen’ For Being Concerned About Hatred Towards Police
A female cop who expressed anxiety about her McDonalds order being poisoned given the vitriolic hatred of police that has gripped America was turned into the butt of a joke by a Twitter mob who declared her “Officer Karen.”
In a clip uploaded to social media, the officer describes how she visited McDonalds on the way home from work but that she was made to wait a long time to receive her food order.

Twitter Tried to Ban Tom Cotton for Demanding Rule of Law During Riots
Twitter tried to give Arkansas Republican Sen. Tom Cotton the boot after the senator and combat veteran went on cable television to advocate the use of the federal military to quell violent riots engulfing the nation.
“First on television, then on Twitter, I noted that the National Guard and active-duty troops could be called out to support local police if necessary, as happened during the 1992 Los Angeles riots,” Cotton wrote in a Fox News op-ed Tuesday. “‘No quarter for insurrectionists, anarchists, rioters, and looters,’ I wrote.”
Twitter however, Cotton said, took “no quarter” to mean “no prisoners.” In other words, Twitter tried to claim Cotton was calling on the U.S. military to shoot citizen protestors.
“Never mind that the phrase today is a common metaphor for a tough or merely unkind approach to a situation,” Cotton wrote.

U.S. Fighter Jets Intercept 8 Russian Warplanes Just Miles From Alaska
United States fighter jets intercepted eight Russian warplanes on Wednesday within 32 miles of Alaskan shores in two separate incidents, military officials reported.
NORAD Commander Gen. Terrence O’Shaughnessy reported that with the latest incursion, Russian military aircraft “have penetrated our Canadian or Alaskan Air Defense Identification Zones” for the eighth time this year.

Arab Clans Threaten to Kill German Police Entering Their No-Go Area
Arab clan gangs have threatened to kill police officers who attempt to enforce the law in the troubled area of Marxloh in the city of Duisburg, claiming only sharia applies to them.

Austria: Man Fined for Farting ‘With Full Intent’ At Police
BERLIN (AP) — A man in Vienna has been fined 500 euros ($565) for breaking wind loudly in front of police — a move that the Austrian capital’s police force was at pains to defend on Tuesday.
The Oesterreich newspaper reported that the fine stemmed from an incident on June 5 and that the offender was fined for “offending public decency.”
City police wrote on Twitter that “of course no one is reported for accidentally ‘letting one go.’“ They added that the man had behaved “provocatively and uncooperatively” during an encounter with officers that preceded the incident.
He got up from a park bench, looked at officers and “let go a massive intestinal wind apparently with full intent,” they said. “And our colleagues don’t like to be farted at so much.”
Police noted that the decision could be appealed.

Denmark: Rasmus Paludan to Stop Demonstrating After He Loses Police Protection
Infamous anti-migration politician and provocateur Rasmus Paludan has said that he will no longer hold public demonstrations because the police have stopped offering him protection.
Paludan made the announcement in a video posted to the Facebook page of his political party, Stram Kurs (Hard Line), on Tuesday.
Paludan had been receiving regular protection from the Danish Security and Intelligence Service (PET) for years. He says that he made the decision to suspend his demonstrations after the PET made continuing to protect him conditional on him refusing to appear in certain places. Paludan said that he considers this a threat from the PET and refused to accept such conditions, according to a report by Ekstra Bladet.

France: Marine Le Pen’s Convoy Attacked by Left-Wing Extremists in Dijon (Video)
The convoy of Marine Le Pen, the leader of the populist National Rally party, was attacked on Tuesday by a mob of left-wing extremists in Dijon. The attack occurred just after Le Pen had given a press conference at a local hotel.
In a video clip, which was captured by French media company CNews, a mob of hooded individuals can be seen kicking and throwing projectiles at the procession of cars. Germany: Left-Wing Extremist Arrested for Making Fake Right-Wing Death Threat
Police in Germany have arrested a suspect in a case where a death threat was sent to politicians from Die Linke (The Left), one of the country’s main liberal parties, in Landau. The suspect is a former member of Die Linke who wrote the threat to seem as if it had come from a Right-winger in the hope of getting publicity for the party.
The Prosecutor’s Office in Koblenz announced that police arrested the suspect after searching his home in the nearby town of Kandel on Monday. The man, 63, confessed to the crime during the search. He is a former member of Die Linke himself, according to a report by Die Welt.

Sweden has seen a dramatic rise in the number of convictions for rape from the period between 2017 and 2019, according to figures released by the Crime Prevention Council (Brå).

Swedish Mayor Refuses to Tear Down Statue of Belgian-Dutch Industrialist
The mayor of Norrköping, a small town in eastern Sweden, has refused demands from the mob to tear down a statue of Louis De Geer — a Belgian-Dutch industrialist who worked in Sweden in the 17th century. The statue of De Geer has been standing in the town’s center since 1945.

Rumors of Wars: China, India, North Korea, South Korea, Israel and Turkey All Move Toward War

Islamic Jihadists Massacre Dozens of Nigerians in Separate Weekend Attacks
After massacring more than 80 people last Tuesday, a group of jihadists linked to the Islamic State killed dozens more Nigerians in attacks on two villages on Saturday.
Following a brief skirmish with armed locals who constituted part of a government-backed militia, jihadist gunmen on motorcycles and in the back of pickup trucks used machine guns and rocket launchers to kill fleeing villagers. Almost 40 people died in the village of Nganzai and an additional 15 were killed in a second attack on the town of Monguno.

Channel Migrants: Border Force and RNLI Intercept Boats
More than 30 migrants have been brought ashore at Dover after Border Force vessels intercepted three small boats in the Channel.
The Home Office said the alerts came in the early hours between 04:50 BST and about 06:15 BST.
Thirty-four men and women were passed to immigration officials after undergoing medical checks.
A lifeboat intercepted a fourth small boat carrying a further seven men and one woman on Wednesday afternoon.
The fourth migrant boat, intercepted just after 12:10 BST, was taken to Ramsgate, a Home Office spokeswoman said.
She said the 42 people in total who were brought to the Kent ports gave their nationalities as Afghan, Kuwaiti, Iranian, Iraqi, Yemini, Syrian and Turkish.

Germany: Berlin Plans to Take 300 More Migrants From Greece
A left-wing lawmaker in the Berlin senate has drafted a proposal that, if accepted by the state’s Senate and approved by the federal Interior Ministry would see at least 300 migrants in reception centers across Greece relocated to Germany.
Andreas Geisel, Berlin’s state senator for interior affairs and a member of the Social Democratic Party, tabled a draft of the decree at the state senate on Tuesday. However, even in the case that the Berlin senate does give the decree the green light, Germany’s federal Interior Ministry has to approve of it as well, Der Tagesspiegel reports.

Greece: Nearly 100 Illegal Migrants Have Landed on Lesvos in Less Than a Week
A boat with 27 illegal migrants landed south of Mytilene on the Greek island of Lesvos on Wednesday morning. The landing marks the third batch of thirty or so illegal migrants to arrive in Lesvos in less than a week, and the fifth boat to arrive in the month of June.
The migrants, after disembarking from the boat, underwent medical testing and examination by healthcare personnel from Greece’s National Health Organization. After the tests and examinations were carried out, the migrants were transported to the Kara Tempe were they will be placed in a week-long quarantine, the Athens-Macedonian News Agency reports.

Italy: 14 Arrested for Trafficking Young Nigerians Into Sex Work
Witch doctor used voodoo to persuade girls to leave
(ANSA) — Catania, June 12 — Italian police on Friday arrested 14 people, mostly Nigerians, on charges of trafficking Nigerian girls, some of them minors, into sex work in Italy.
Ten of the arrests took place in Sicily and the northern cities of Verona, Novara and Mondovì.
The gang allegedly used “connection men” in Libya, police said.
Police said the trafficking victims were promised steady jobs and a good life in Italy.
They were then threatened by a “witch doctor” in their home villages who used voodoo rites to get them to promise to pay back the 25,000 euros they each paid to get to Italy, police said.
The young women and girls crossed the Mediterranean from Libya in boats that were picked up by rescue ships, and then re-assembled in Sicily, police said.
They were pressed into prostitution and sent around Italy.
Their earnings were sent back to the witch doctor in Nigeria to be distributed around the gang and pay for more recruits, police said.

The comments section is often where people go to get the truth. We all know that media is biased and so heading to the comments section gives us a better feel for the perspectives on what is being discussed and the ability to see the author of an article challenged over their opinion.
It’s the same way with tweets and social media posts — the replies are what make the platforms social and not just broadcasts.
If you read most mainstream articles these days, you might feel that you’re the odd one out, that the world’s gone completely mad, and that you’re a lone voice in the midst of it all. It’s only when you scroll down to the comments that you realize you aren’t alone, you’re not crazy and it’s actually the mainstream media narratives are increasingly the fringe perspective.
