-51.2%! Atlanta Fed Now Expects Staggering Collapse in Q2 GDP

Two months ago, St Louis Fed president James Bullard triggered a market plunge when he predicted that unemployment may soar to 30% and GDP plunge by an unprecedented 50%, vastly eclipsing the collapse observed during the Great Depression.

Sure enough, moments ago the Atlanta Fed’s closely followed GDPNow tracker confirmed this worst case scenario, when the latest model estimate for real GDP growth in the second quarter of 2020 crashed to —51.2% on May 29, down from —40.4% on May 28, which would be the biggest drop on record.

Spain Approves Guaranteed Minimum Income Scheme for Vulnerable Families

The Spanish Cabinet on Friday approved a guaranteed minimum income scheme to assist roughly 85,000 households.

According to the new program, the government will pay a monthly stipend of $514 and top up existing revenue for people earning less so they receive at least the minimum on a monthly basis.

The minimum income would also increase with the number of family members to a total of $1,130.

Deputy Prime Minister Pablo Iglesias said the new scheme is a “historic day for our democracy.”

“It Felt Like an Earthquake”: SpaceX Prototype Starship Blows Up in Massive Explosion Day Ahead of Manned Launch

In a horribly spectacular failure with the added bad timing of coming almost exactly 24 hours ahead of SpaceX and NASA’s rescheduled attempt to make history by launching two astronauts into Earth’s orbit as part of work on the Commercial Crew program, set for 3:22 pm ET Saturday weather permitting, the Raptor engine in SpaceX’s Starship SN4 prototype blew up on its test stand in Boca Chica, Texas.

“SpaceX just experienced the biggest explosion yet at its Texas site, where it’s testing prototypes for a Mars rocket,” The Atlantic’s Marina Koren reported Friday afternoon.

“A resident who lives nearby — just 2 miles away — said it felt like an earthquake,” she added. Koren noted that at this point it doesn’t appear anyone in the surrounding community was hurt in the massive blast which shook the area for miles.

Clean-Up Underway in Aftermath of Damage From Protests

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — City workers began the process of cleaning up parts of downtown following a protest for justice for the death of Breonna Taylor. The protest started around 7 p.m. Thursday.

Seven people were injured as a result of a shooting and police say “there have been some arrests.” Five of the seven people are in “good condition,” according to Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer.

After protesters dispersed around 1:30 a.m. Friday, cleaning up parts of downtown began. The most notable damage was the vandalization of the King Louis XVI statue that has been at the Louisville courthouse for over half a century. The hand of the statue was torn off as protesters waved the hand and used it to shake hands with others.

Dr. Anthony Fauci’s Ties to George Soros, Bill & Hillary Clinton, The World Health Organization, Bill Gates & the ‘Big Pharma Mafia’ Should Set Off Alarms Across America

by John C. Velisek

One of the greatest economic booms in our country’s history has been brought to its knees by a virus. Over 80,000 souls have been lost to this pandemic, and our country is slowly collapsing. The number of businesses lost to this virus is said to be about 100,000 that will never come back—one hundred thousand livelihoods and families that will no longer grace our towns and cities across this country. The economic downturn has been devastating, and there are many of our fellow citizens that will never recover.

Dr. Anthony Fauci is tasked with leading us through this as the resident “expert” that has all of America shut down. It was his advice to President Trump that has locked down our country. It is Dr. Fauci that has set the limits of what our country should do. The damage is done when the experts are spreading fear and panic throughout the country and are allowed to set policy for the nation.

Dr, Fauci persuaded President Trump to “lockdown” the entire U.S. economy based on a false Imperial College model-based on the work of Dr. Neil Ferguson. The Imperial College model has since been deemed to be a model “completely unusable for scientific purposes.” If the model was so flawed, why did Dr. Fauci not look closer into the results and question the facts as they were presented? It has been agreed to by many, including software engineer Sue Denim, that the Ferguson model “is garbage and can not be scientifically replicated.” The results— a destroyed economy and over 30 million Americans out of work and on the edge of generational poverty is the result of Dr. Fauci not understanding the impact of statements based on failure.

Another study that Dr. Fauci showed to the President as factual was the study from the University of Washington IHME, another project funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Once again, Fauci showed a preference for fault models and the meaningless havoc they would cause…

Ellison to Minnesota Protesters: Be Kinder to National Guard Than to Police

Minnesota attorney general Keith Ellison (D.) told Minneapolis residents protesting the death of George Floyd to direct their ire at local police, rather than the National Guard that has been called into the city to help restore order.

Ellison’s remarks come as Minneapolis has been beset by protests and riots after Floyd died in police custody on Monday. Video taken shortly before his death shows a police officer pinning the unarmed man’s neck down with his knee for several minutes. Angry demonstrators set fires across the city, including to a police precinct.

Florida Man Friday Goes Seriously Awesome: Surfin’ I-75

Florida Man, take me away.

People burning down their own neighborhoods to make some kind of political point makes me sad. It’s a confused kind of sadness, because when people who have comparatively little except for entirely too much attention from the police burn what little they and their neighbors have and then get themselves even more attention from the police…

[…]well, who wouldn’t be saddened and confused by that?

That’s why I love Florida Man Friday.

Whatever other awful things might be going on here in America or around the world, Florida’s best-in-the-nation sunshine law ensures that at least for a few minutes each week we’ll be able to enjoy some strange news that’s either delightful, weird, or weirder.

I like the weird & weirder stuff, but today we’re going to start with something delightful on this week’s…

George Floyd Family Enlists Dr. Michael Baden to Perform Second Autopsy

The family of George Floyd, the Minneapolis man who died shortly after he was arrested by police officers on suspicion of passing a counterfeit $20 bill, has retained prominent forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Baden to perform an independent autopsy.

Baden, a former New York City chief medical examiner, confirmed to Fox News Friday that the Floyd family had asked him to perform the autopsy and said he would travel to Minneapolis Saturday. Baden added that he would discuss his findings early next week.

Earlier Friday, former police officer Derek Chauvin, 44, was was charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter in the case, which sparked protests across the United States and riots in Minneapolis. A criminal complaint against Chauvin states that he kept his knee on Floyd’s neck for 8 minutes, 46 seconds, including nearly three minutes after Floyd stopped moving and talking.

Police had arrested Floyd and were trying to put him in a squad car when he stiffened up and fell to the ground, saying he was claustrophobic, according to the complaint.

An official autopsy revealed nothing to support strangulation as the cause of death, concluding that the combined effects of being restrained, potential intoxicants in Floyd’s system and his underlying health issues, including heart disease, likely contributed to his death.

Wilson argued that if places selling alcohol are considered essential services, then churches should also be allowed to open.

Lancet Study That Caused Who to Drop Hydroxychloroquine Trials Falls Under Scrutiny

A study published in the Lancet on Friday which prompted the World Health Organization to halt global trials of hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19 has fallen under scrutiny over a data discrepancy, The Guardian reports.

According to the study — a data analysis of nearly 15,000 patients who received HCQ alone or with antibiotics (and conspicuously without zinc — the key ingredient), COVID-19 patients who received HCQ reportedly died at higher rates and experienced more cardiac complications than those without. As a result, the WHO halted all its trials involving the drug, which has been promoted by dozens of prominent doctors, and recently ordered by Indian health officials for use as a prophylactic against the disease.

The study, led by the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Center for Advanced Heart Disease in Boston, examined patients in hospitals around the world, including in Australia. It said researchers gained access to data from five hospitals recording 600 Australian Covid-19 patients and 73 Australian deaths as of 21 April.

But data from Johns Hopkins University shows only 67 deaths from Covid-19 had been recorded in Australia by 21 April. The number did not rise to 73 until 23 April. The data relied upon by researchers to draw their conclusions in the Lancet is not readily available in Australian clinical databases, leading many to ask where it came from. —The Guardian

Officer Who Knelt on George Floyd’s Neck Charged With Murder

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The white Minneapolis police officer who knelt on George Floyd’s neck was arrested and charged with murder Friday, and authorities imposed an overnight curfew to try to stem repeated protests that left dozens of stores burned and looted as anger boiled over about the killing of another African American in police custody.

Derek Chauvin, 44, was charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. He also was accused of ignoring another officer who expressed concerns about Floyd as he lay handcuffed on the ground, pleading that he could not breathe as Chauvin pressed his knee into his neck. Floyd, who was black, had been arrested on suspicion of using a counterfeit bill at a store.

Chauvin, who was fired along with three other officers who were at the scene, faces more than 12 years in prison if convicted of murder.

Ted Cruz Accuses Twitter of Violating Sanctions Against Iran, Demands DOJ Probe

We’ve mentioned in nearly every single one of our posts about this week’s dustup between the president and Twitter that the Ayatollah has an account on the company’s platform, where he routinely spouts dangerously anti-American rhetoric, without drawing even a whiff of scrutiny from Twitter (or the American left),

Now, as the GOP cranks up the pressure on Trump’s (least) favorite social media company, Senator Ted Cruz is calling for a full-on investigation of how the company treats foreign leaders who use the platform. To be sure, this isn’t exactly coming out of nowhere — Cruz led an earlier pressure campaign to convince Twitter to boot senior Iranian officials off the platform, even insinuating that not doing so would violate international sanctions against Iran, as Axios reported.

Lane: Remember Oak Apple Day, England’s Non-Socialist May Day

While international socialism has thoroughly misappropriated May Day, a truly conservative — and thoroughly British — holiday lies near-forgotten on May 29th, traditionally marked with merrymaking and thrashing political nasties with nettles.

Oak Apple Day, a celebration of the restoration of the British Monarchy in 1660 — and possibly an ancient pre-Christian Spring tradition long before that — is a beautiful slice of all but forgotten British history and culture. By ancient tradition, sprigs of oak are worn or hung outside houses and other celebrations including processions, meals, and dances take place.

UK: Teenage Girl Accused of Making False Allegations After Telling Police She Was Drugged and Raped by “Asian” Grooming Gang

A British girl from Cumbria recently appeared in court after being charged with perverting the course of justice when she told authorities that she had been drugged and sexually assaulted by members of an “Asian” grooming game.

In several posts on social media in 2018 and 2019, 19-year-old Eleanor Williams, from Barrow-in-Furness, claimed that Pakistani men had beaten, drugged, and trafficked her for sex throughout the north of England. Williams prompted widespread outrage when she posted several gruesome photographs which showed horrendous bruising, scratches, and burn marks all over her body, The Daily Mail reports.

Interestingly enough, however, following a year-long review of William’s claims, the only charges filed in the case were against the 19-year-old girl herself.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Thursday in a statement published on state-run Anadolu news agency, that Islamic prayers and recitals will be held at Hagia Sophia today to commemorate the Fall of Constantinople as part of celebrations organised by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

Erdogan continually uses the threat of turning the Christian Orthodox Cathedral, now a museum, into a mosque to appease Turkish Islamists and to distract the public from his own catastrophic failures to contain the coronavirus pandemic, the declining economy, and the increasing body count of Turkish soldiers during their failed invasions of Syria and Libya.

China’s Coronavirus Lies Have Taken ‘Countless Lives, ‘ Bred ‘Profound Hardship.’ Trump’s Had Enough

On Friday, President Donald Trump gave a brief and blistering speech against the malfeasance of the Chinese Communist Party, slamming its deception on the coronavirus pandemic and its direct assault on the independence of Hong Kong. He announced the U.S. would pull out of the World Health Organization (WHO) and would prepare sanctions for Chinese officials involved in the crackdown on Hong Kong’s independence.

“The world is now suffering as a result of the malfeasance of the Chinese government,” he declared. “China’s cover-up of the Wuhan virus allowed the disease to spread all over the world, instigating a global pandemic that has cost more than 100,00 American lives and over a million lives worldwide.”

COVID-19: China Says Wuhan Wet Market Was Site of ‘Superspreader’ Event, Not Ground Zero

It has long been the focus of swirling coronavirus speculation, but now Chinese health authorities have said that the wet market in Wuhan, central China, was not the source of the first COVID-19 outbreak.

Animals from the market were tested by officials at the Chinese Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, the Daily Mail reports, and found not to contain the novel coronavirus. Instead, officials say that rather than the outbreak’s Ground Zero, the Wuhan market was likely the source of a “superspreader” event during the virus’ early stages.

Top China General Says Attack on Taiwan an Option if No Other Way to Stop Independence

In what is shaping up as the next explosive geopolitical hotspot, one of China’s most senior generals said on Friday that the country will attack Taiwan if there is no other way of stopping it from becoming independent in the latest rhetorical escalation between China and the democratically ruled island Beijing claims as its own, Reuters reported.

Speaking at Beijing’s Great Hall of the People on the 15th anniversary of the Anti-Secession Law, Li Zuocheng, chief of the Joint Staff Department and member of the Central Military Commission, left the door open to using force. The 2005 law gives the country the legal basis for military action against Taiwan if it secedes or seems about to. Li is one of China’s few senior officers with combat experience, having taken part in China’s ill-fated invasion of Vietnam in 1979.

New York City Bans the Words ‘Alien’ And ‘Illegal’ When Referring to Immigrants Because the Terms Are ‘Degrading’

New York City has become the first major U.S. city to outlaw the use of terms such as ‘alien’ and ‘illegal’ when referring to immigrants in local legal documentation.

The terms will now be replaced with ‘noncitizen’.

NYC City Council passed the bill on Thursday that will get rid of the terms ‘alien’, ‘illegal immigrant’ and ‘illegal migrant’ from local laws, rules, orders, city documents and other materials.

Those who supported the legislation said the terms were used to ‘dehumanize’ people and praised the decision to remove them at a time when they claim the White House is engaging in ‘racist rhetoric’.

[Comment: Plainly unconstitutional.]

33 Examples of Twitter’s Anti-Conservative Bias

President Donald Trump is right that social media companies have been targeting conservatives. Twitter, in particular, has been engaging in a relentless attack on the American political process by censoring conservatives.

Now that has escalated to fact-checking the president nearly five months from a presidential election.

The Media Research Center released a report in 2018, which found that Twitter led in censoring the right. That hasn’t changed. Project Veritas caught Twitter with hidden camera interviews admitting the process of shadow banning — which means content is hidden from users without the poster ever knowing it. One engineer admitted that accounts were flagged as bots simply by searching for words such as “America” and “God.” Twitter’s rules have been influenced by liberal think tanks like the Anti-Defamation League and the Southern Poverty Law Center. Since then, Twitter has gotten worse.

  1. “New York City has become the first major U.S. city to outlaw the use of terms such as ‘alien’ and ‘illegal’ when referring to immigrants in local legal documentation.”

I can remember a time when we used to refer to foreign invaders as “wogs” and nobody cared at all. Cultural Marxism and PC have. a lot to answer for

    • That would be the white Irish guys replacement. Stupid is what stupid does. The Irish Irish I heard used to consider themselves lucky to be white. There’s been a change of heart? The black blacks from all over are lapping it up no doubt. Very high suicide rate amongst young Irish fellas I hear.

      • My daughter’s girlfriend is getting married to some Irishman. She herself is not entirely Russian – half Azerbaijani, but secular, with tattoos. Pretty, she looks like Audrey Tautou.

Even about 40 years ago, the Irish would, on the basis of what I read about them in books, prefer to drop a bomb rather than commit suicide.

        • Muslim marauders behaviour is akin to the old nazis strolling in the Jewish ghettos of Europe in ww two Europe.

      • Ps: except for the “elite” shopping malls areas located “out of town sight” where the advertising is 101% white white, ALL the fashion and faces are 99.9% black black with token white outsiders female characters. All so very sick.

    • @Mason.
Well said. Taking care of the problems in America should be the first priority for every Americans who care about America. Foreigners in foreign countries should start to take care of their own problems. For example, the Vietnam civil war itself had caused so many needless deaths of Americans and yet many of those racist Vietnamese continued to blame Americans for fighting for those Asiatics who never care about freedom anyway.
Most Blacks, Asians and other nonwhites are known to be racist aliens. We can and have to save America from being swamped by ungrateful aliens.

  2. It is strange that UK is prepared to swamp the UK with more troublemakers /hateful migrants from Asia.
UK should let Hong Kong who shares similar bad characteristics with China to sort out their own Asiatic problems instead of encouraging more virus or the endless problems from China. Chinese societies and their ugly Chinatowns should not have been allowed to invade the West in such huge numbers in the first place.
Most dysfunctional Chinese are just like Blacks and other nonwhites – they are troublemakers and they hate Whites for no valid reason and they would caused us problems when they think we are at the most vulnerable.

  3. Equalise with dregs and loosen your majority to accommodate your absolute sworn mortal enemy i.e. the Muslim – then you and yours WILL be violated. Watch all traces of Churchill and so many others disappear. The general population needs to be educated about those many millions eradicated by Islam. The Muslim keeps his eye on the prize while the indigenous politicians shoot up on theit cash.
