$21m Brooklyn Field Hospital Never Saw a Patient Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

A roughly $21 million Brooklyn field hospital authorized by the de Blasio administration at the height of the coronavirus pandemic opened and closed without ever seeing one patient, according to city officials.

The Brooklyn Cruise Terminal in Red Hook was one of several sites across the five boroughs converted into a medical facility as a way to relieve the city’s overburdened hospital system as the COVID-19 crisis mounted.

ABC, CBS, NBC Average a Minute on Joe Biden’s ‘You Ain’t Black’ Gaffe

ABC, CBS, and NBC all covered Joe Biden’s gaffe on Friday night, suggesting on the radio show of rapper “Charlamagne Tha God” that if you aren’t supporting him for president, “You ain’t black.” Between the three evening newscasts, there was 187 seconds of coverage, or about a minute each. ABC and CBS turned to political reporters, but NBC anchor Lester Holt dismissed the whole thing in 21 seconds.

By comparison, when the story broke on September 17, 2012, that Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney said he would never convince 47 percent of the electorate to vote for him, the same Big Three networks gave than almost an hour and a half over three full days (1 hour, 28 minutes, 23 seconds).

Ahead of Another Protest, Judge Declines to Rule Against Beshear’s Mass Gathering Ban

UPDATE: The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit partially granted Saturday the protesters’ motion for an injunction against Beshear’s mass gathering restrictions.

During the 30-day window in which the state can appeal the decision, the Sixth Circuit judges said Beshear’s administration may not ban the protesters “from gathering for drive-in and drive-through protests, provided the protesters practice social distancing…”

But Senior Judge Richard F. Suhrheinrich, who concurred in part with the ruling, also wrote in a partial dissent that it “does not go far enough in protecting the plaintiffs’ rights under the First Amendment.”

However, the Sixth Circuit panel said it could not rule on the “in-person protests” restrictions due to receiving the case on “exceptionally short notice.”

The appellate judges referenced the Maryville Baptist Church lawsuit in which a Bullitt County congregation asked the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals to block the state from banning in-person church services.

Amazon Hits Back at Joe Biden for Saying the Company Doesn’t Pay Its Fair Share in Taxes

Amazon, a successful capitalist company, has been in the crosshairs of Democrats for a while now. Remember when Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez seemed to think she’d helped New York save $3 billion by chasing away a new Amazon distribution center that would have created 25,000 jobs, and that $3 billion (that didn’t exist) could be reinvested into the community?

Joe Biden is now taking on Amazon, accusing the company of not paying its fair share.

Court Rules Feds Need Warrant to Look at Your Phone’s Lockscreen

On May 18th, United States District Judge in Seattle John C. Coughenour ruled that law enforcement isn’t even allowed to look at your phone’s lock screen without a warrant.

We obtained a copy of the ruling for you here.

Joseph Sam was arrested on May 15, 2019 on the charge of conspiracy to commit robbery. At the time of the arrest, the officer searched Sam and seized his smartphone.

The contention, in this case, is regarding what happened after the arrest. Police reports describe the wallpaper on Sam’s lock screen that includes the name “STREEZY”, which presumably ties Sam to potential illegal activity. On February 13, 2020, the FBI removed Sam’s phone from inventory, powered it on, and took a picture of the lock screen.

Dr. Anthony Fauci Says Staying Closed for Too Long Could Cause ‘Irreparable Damage’

Stay-at-home orders intended to curb the spread of the coronavirus could end up causing “irreparable damage” if imposed for too long, White House health advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci told CNBC on Friday.

“I don’t want people to think that any of us feel that staying locked down for a prolonged period of time is the way to go,” Fauci said during an interview with CNBC’s Meg Tirrell on “Halftime Report.”

He said the U.S. had to institute severe measures because Covid-19 cases were exploding then. “But now is the time, depending upon where you are and what your situation is, to begin to seriously look at reopening the economy, reopening the country to try to get back to some degree of normal.”

Flynn Judge Outsources High-Profile Lawyer to Explain Why He Won’t Dismiss Case

The Obama-appointed activist judge holding up the dismissal of the Michael Flynn case can’t be bothered — or simply doesn’t have the skillset required, to defend his decision not to grant the Justice Department’s request to drop the case.

In a reminder that the ‘swamp’ has many tentacles, the Post (tentacle-ception) a Saturday report in the Washington Post that District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan has retained Beth Wilkinson to represent him after the U.S. District Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia ordered him to explain what on God’s green earth he’s up to, after refusing to grant the DOJ’s request to drop the Flynn case in light of evidence revealing that the FBI obtained a guilty plea as part of a scheme to entrap the former Trump Director of National Intelligence.

Joe Rogan Opposes YouTube’s Censorship of Doctors, “Let People Discuss and Debate”

One of the world’s most popular podcasters, Joe Rogan, has decided to discuss social media censorship in a video, featuring political pundit David Pakman.

Rogan mentions that YouTube has recently been removing videos by doctors who hold views on how to deal with coronavirus that, while rational, are not in line with the official message; for example by questioning whether lockdowns are the right way to go about handling the pandemic.

“YouTube has decided they’re going to pull down videos from doctors who have different opinions on how to handle the coronavirus and criticisms of how things are and, I’m like, it’s really interesting that they make that line — that that’s the line — that doctors (practicing physicians), they’ll pull their video down but people talking about flat earth — they leave that up,” Rogan said.

  1. Articles are starting to appear stating that the lockdown failed as far as suppressing or containing the flu.

It only failed if you look at it from the ground up, if you were to look at it as a grand experiment on whether or not a few mouthpieces could incite enough hysteria to cause people to duck and cover, it was a smashing success. By pushing the infected up against the vulnerable certain petty tyrants were able to double the kill and are pushing still this house arrest scenario even after the data is in, the curve has flattened and their murderous actions have been revealed. With the inflated unemployment benefits, it has been shown that many – as much as half the world would rather hide in their cave than fight against this unprecedented assault.

The long-established fact that the Hanau massacre was arranged by a psycho with voices in his head. But who cares. And take into account the “little tricks” committed by Muslims, this country is not accepted.

“The British media is worse than America’s.

Hounding the Prime Minister’s advisor for daring to see his parents during Britain’s overzealous “lockdown”.

And all while few of them were wearing masks, crowded together like the jackals they are”

Joke country, millions of people are entering every month with zero checks yet here the West Mercia Constabulary is stopping and questioning lone joggers in the middle of farm country.
