Caroline Glick: Abbas’s Worn Out Threats

Tuesday evening, Palestinian Authority and PLO Chairman Mahmoud Abbas announced that the PA is renouncing the peace deals it signed with Israel along with its agreements with the United States. According to several left-leaning Israeli television commentators and retired generals, his speech was an earthquake. It was a calamity of epic proportions. Most importantly, it was a reason to bury the government’s plan to apply Israeli law to the Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria and to the Jordan Valley.

Abbas had no problem remembering his lines Tuesday night because he’s given the same speech, word for word a half dozen times, (aside from the throw away sentence blasting President Donald Trump’s peace plan and Israel’s sovereignty plan). The first time Abbas gave it was in September 2015 in his address to the UN General Assembly.

As was the case Tuesday night, so every other time Abbas gave this speech, shortly after he walked offstage, Israeli leftists said the sky is falling. But then the truth started filtering in…

Cardinal Burke: Chinese Communism ‘An Evil Form of Government’

Cardinal Raymond Burke said Wednesday that the coronavirus pandemic raises “serious questions” about international dependence on communist China.

“The role of the People’s Republic of China in the whole international health crisis raises many serious questions,” wrote Cardinal Burke, the former head of the Vatican’s highest court. “While we as Christians love the Chinese people and want for them what is for their good, we cannot fail to recognize that their government is the embodiment of atheistic materialism or communism.”

China, Not Fauci, Is the Enemy

As Americans, we should be united in our hatred and disgust for the Communist Chinese rulers. We should want to make them pay. How? The answer is simple — by seizing their property in the United States. Much of that is in California.

Expert: ‘Chinese Regime is Deeply Racist… This is Something We Haven’t Seen Since the Third Reich’

Several universities in the U.S. are refusing to cooperate with federal investigations into alleged infiltration by the Chinese government through bribes and financial kickbacks, according to reports.

College Fix reports that multiple institutions being scrutinised by the Department of Education are refusing to provide internal documents that are thought to contain evidence of undisclosed financial grants from the Chinese government.

The legal representatives of the universities are arguing that they do not have to provide information because of “Freedom of Information Act exemptions and legal privileges,” according to correspondence from the Department of Education, which did not name the institutions that have refused to comply.

VPN Use Surges in Hong Kong as Threat of New “Security” Law Looms

Following a move by the Chinese legislature to impose a national internet security law, there was a spike in the downloads of geo-unblocking apps in Hong Kong. Should it pass, residents of Hong Kong might cease to enjoy the city’s somewhat lax internet laws.

From The Guardian:

China’s proposed new security law for Hong Kong will allow Beijing’s security forces to operate in the city, where local authorities have indicated the powers will be used to try to suppress the pro-democracy protests that broke out almost a year ago.

The US secretary of state, Mike Pompeo, said on Friday that the legislation was effectively a “death knell” for Hong Kong’s status as an autonomous city. He urged China to “reconsider its disastrous proposal [and] abide by its international obligations”.

Currently, Hong Kong, which has semi-autonomous status, does not have the same internet restrictions laws as mainland China.

While US-based social media apps such as WhatsApp and Twitter are illegal in the mainland, Hongkongers can use them without breaking the law. Also, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) are illegal on the mainland but are legal in Hong Kong.

Reddit’s UFO Subreddit Was Auto-Censoring Phrases ‘Brazil, ‘ ‘Navy, ‘ and ‘Pentagon”

The /r/UFOs subreddit have suffered several cases of censorship by moderators who have blocked keywords for recent topics such as “Brazil”, “Pentagon,” or “Navy”.

2020 has been a strange year even for UFO fans. During this quarantine period, both the Pentagon and the U.S. Navy revealed material that points to the possible existence of aliens. Those who want to discuss these events can do so in places like the /r/UFOs Subreddit, or at least you would think so.

It turns out that some of the moderators on the subreddit blocked a series of keywords that referred to recent events, so posts that included “Pentagon” or “Navy” were immediately rejected.

This ban was not limited to revelations offered by the United States government almost a month ago, but also more recent publications that spoke about the alleged alien sightings that occurred in Magé, Brazil, were being censored.

Farage Tells Breitbart: I’ll Keep Exposing the Illegal Migrant Boats Scandal in English Channel

Brexit leader Nigel Farage told Breitbart News about the viral success of his drive to expose the emerging scandal of illegal migrant boats crossing the English Channel, aided by the apparent collusion of the British and French governments, promising to keep reporting on the phenomenon.

Speaking to Breitbart editor in chief Alex Marlow on the Friday edition of the Breitbart News Daily show on Sirius XM Patriot, Brexit veteran turned journalist and broadcaster Nigel Farage related his recent experiences on and off England’s South coast. Explaining how the growing issue of boat migrants arriving in England — a relatively new form of illegal migration to the United Kingdom, first gaining prominence in 2016, around the time of the Europe Migrant Crisis — had for too long been underplayed or ignored by the mainstream media, Mr Farage said he’d taken to driving to the coast and even going to sea to record the reality.

Serbia: NGOs Question Deployment of Army Near Migrant Camps

Activists working for pro-migrant Non-Governmental Organisations in Serbia are questioning why the country deployed its army to positions near its migrant camps last weekend. But as Serbia’s emergency measures end, it is likely that migrants will be leaving the camps, either to commit crimes or to attempt to cross illegally into the European Union.

Serbia’s Defence Ministry said that the deployment had been ordered by President Aleksandar Vucic to secure the camps near the Croatian border where approximately 4,000 illegal migrants are currently being hosted, as previously reported by Voice of Europe. According to the government, this was to protect the local population from alleged robberies and other forms of harassment that have been taking place since the lockdown in response to the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak began.

In the video, Sikora offers an optimistic perspective on the coronavirus by suggesting that the virus is showing signs of petering out and also warning that fear would be more deadly than the virus.

  1. Taliban Chief Promises Women Equal Rights if U.S. Leaves Afghanistan
    https://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2020/05/21/taliban-chief-promises-women-equal-rights-if-u-s-leaves-afghanistan/

I know one old joke on this subject:
A man is walking along a street in an Afghan village, and a wife is walking ahead of him. To meet them is an old man.
    – Hey, Abdul, didn’t you read the Koran? A wife should only go behind her husband!
    – Listen, when the Koran wrote, the roads did not mine. Go Fatima!

  2. From social networks:

    – Have you read Orwell’s 1984?
    – Well, to hell with it. I do not like these sugary tales, utopias without any credibility. Antique shops are open, hotels are open, Winston Smith and others hang around with impunity, wherever they wish, without getting a pass in advance, the same Winston Smith repairs Mrs. Parsons sink without a license, patent and IP (certificate of registration of an individual entrepreneur), and probably violating social distance … Some kind of nonsense.

    • Changing just as rapidly in the rest of Europe’s big western sausages also? England, France, Germany. Anglo Turkish cowboy sympathiser Boris is having difficulty staying in the saddle.
