Germany Agrees to Share Debt With Other EU Countries to Finance Recovery Plan

FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) — Germany’s agreement to share debt with other EU countries to finance an economic recovery plan is being greeted as a political breakththrough and an overdue sign of unity in the face of the worst downturn the bloc has ever seen.

Chancellor Angela Merkel broke with her country’s longstanding opposition to shared borrowing with other EU member countries. The proposal made with French President Emmanuel Macron is limited in scale and duration, which could help her sell it to skeptics back home.

Why California is in Trouble — 340,000 Public Employees With $100,000+ Paychecks Cost Taxpayers $45 Billion

Despite California’s $54 billion budget deficit and $1 trillion unfunded pension liability, there are 340,390 government employees bringing home six-figure salary and pension checks.

Recently, though, Gov. Gavin Newsom asked U.S. taxpayers for a bailout.

The governor wrote a letter to Congress requesting $1 trillion in coronavirus 50-state aid. Then, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi obliged by adding $500 billion for the states into the HEROES Act — the bill passed and now awaits action in the Senate.

America’s March to Socialism: The NeverTrump Right

[…]

The Bulwark and Never Trumpers have been among the loudest voices cheering this development and, like Patterson, forecasting how it can be used to break the back of free enterprise and impose socialism. Contrary to their protestations, they wouldn’t have had to close their eyes and grit their teeth to vote for Bernie Sanders. Totalitarians, whatever their ideological differences, end up in the same place.

Never Trumpers cast their struggle as a post-ideological stand for principles. But there is one principle truly at stake here. Freedom. The Never Trumpers and their new socialist allies love it in principle, much as they claim to love the ‘unequal’, while hating them in reality. Trump doesn’t love freedom as a principle.

CDC Now Says Coronavirus “Does Not Spread Easily” Between Surfaces

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have corrected earlier warnings, now saying that the coronavirus “does not spread easily” from “touching surfaces or objects.”

The federal health organization originally said it “may be possible” to spread COVID-19 through contaminated surfaces. It now includes “surfaces or objects” under a list detailing ways in which the virus does not easily transmit, although it is unclear when the change was made.

Ohio Judge Deems the State’s COVID-19 Lockdown ‘Arbitrary, Unreasonable, And Oppressive’

Ohio’s COVID-19 lockdown is illegal, a state judge ruled today, because it exceeds the powers granted by the statute under which it was imposed. Responding to a May 8 lawsuit filed by the 1851 Center for Constitutional Law on behalf of 35 gyms, Lake County Court of Common Pleas Judge Eugene Lucci enjoined Ohio Department of Health Director Amy Acton from penalizing the plaintiffs or similar businesses for violating the lockdown, provided “they operate in compliance with all applicable safety regulations.”

In issuing her business closure and stay-at-home orders, Acton relied on a statute that gives her department “ultimate authority in matters of quarantine and isolation.” Lucci concluded that Ohio’s lockdown does not meet the legal requirements for “isolation,” which is defined as “the separation of an infected individual from others during the period of disease communicability,” or a “quarantine,” which is defined as “the restriction of the movements or activities of a well individual or animal who has been exposed to a communicable disease during the period of communicability of that disease.” A quarantine is supposed to last only as long as “the usual incubation period of the disease”—two to 14 days, in the case of COVID-19.

‘Plandemic’ Documentary

The 26-minute documentary “Plandemic,” part 1, by Mikki Willis, features Judy Mikovits, Ph.D., a cellular and molecular biologist1 whose research showed that many vaccines are contaminated with gammaretroviruses, thanks to the fact that they use viruses grown in contaminated animal cell lines.

Mikovits suspects COVID-19 may in fact be a type of vaccine-derived or vaccine-induced retroviral infection, and she’s undoubtedly qualified to comment on this disease because of her groundbreaking research on retroviruses.

In other words, she believes SARS-CoV-2 merely serves to activate or wake up a dormant XMRV infection, which then causes the symptoms of COVID-19. Work done by Mikovits between 2009 and 2011 suggested 25 million to 30 million Americans were carriers of XMRVs and other gammaretroviruses.

Seeing how that estimate is over a decade old, that number is now likely to be far higher. In my view, her hypothesis is an interesting one that should warrant further investigation.

As expected, this film is being censored from all mainstream media networks, including, of course, YouTube. To get around the censorship, Willis is asking people to download, share and upload on other sites as they please.

The reason Mikovits’ career was destroyed was because she and her colleagues discovered that vaccines can spread gammaretroviruses that in turn can trigger diseases such as chronic fatigue syndrome,4 certain kinds of autism, cancers, leukemias and lymphomas.

The rise of public awareness is also evidenced by the fact that Mikovits’ latest book, “Plague of Corruption,”3 released April 14, 2020, rose to become a No. 1 best-seller within the first week. In it, she names names, and one of them is Dr. Anthony Fauci, the much-beloved leader of the White House’s pandemic response team. It’s not surprising then that the discrediting campaign against her and Willis is equally robust.

Gammaretroviruses5 are viruses that can cause cancer, leukemia and immune deficiencies in various animals. As explained in a 2011 paper on gamma retroviruses:6

“Retroviruses are evolutionary optimized gene carriers that have naturally adapted to their hosts to efficiently deliver their nucleic acids into the target cell chromatin, thereby overcoming natural cellular barriers …

Retroviral vectors are fascinating and efficient delivery tools for the transfer of nucleic acids. As a hallmark, all retroviruses are capable of reverse transcribing their single stranded RNA genome into double stranded DNA, which will be stably integrated into the host cell genome.

As highly evolved parasites they act in concert with cellular host factors to deliver their nucleic acid into the nucleus, where they exploit the host cell’s machinery for their own replication and long-term expression occurs.”

The key take-home here is that retroviruses are “integrated into the host cell genome,” and infection can result in “long-term expression.” In other words, once they’re in your body, they can remain dormant, only to reactivate when conditions are favorable.

A progressive health care advocacy group used cellphone data to track the movements of demonstrators at lockdown protests in five states, according to a report.

They created visualizations that tracked the movements up to 48 hours after the protests ended, and Jeremy Fair, executive vice president of VoteMap, told the newspaper that many of the cellphones reached the state borders and some even crossed them.

Numbers have gone down all but one year since, and experts say economic woes from coronavirus are likely to drive the rate even lower.

German Court Rules Government No Longer Allowed to Spy on the World’s Internet Traffic

When people think of mass surveillance that governments like to carry out, they usually think of authoritarian nations like China or overstepping of governmental bodies in the United States under the excuse of fighting terrorism. The truth of the matter is, most countries around the world engage in some sort of mass surveillance on some level.

Germany is currently one of the biggest surveillance nations in the world. That is due to one of the world’s largest internet exchange points being located in Frankfurt. That is, the entire planet’s internet traffic goes through it to get from one side to the other. It’s rather easy and cost-less for them to monitor it all.

So what changed? Well, Germany’s Federal Constitutional Court (think: Supreme Court) ruled on May 19th, 2020 that the privacy rights offered by the German constitution apply to foreigners as well as Germans. In other words, the Bundesnachrichtendienst (BND) (think: NSA) needs to respect the privacy of non-Germans around the world as well.

China’s Cyber War Against America

China’s Cyber War on America has been ceaseless, comprehensive and longstanding. In the past 15 years, China has hacked official government departments, defense contractors, utility companies, and U.S. and allied intelligence agencies. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has, it appears, integrated China’s cyber attack capabilities into its apparent overall plan to surpass the U.S. as the world’s leading power.

As part of its efforts, the CCP has for years built up a sophisticated infrastructure within the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) to steal critical technical data from U.S. public and private targets. The PLA units in the Second and Third Departments of the General Staff are the principal engineers of China’s vast assault to collect U.S. intellectual property. Another unit, probably in the PLA’s General Staff’s Fourth Department, concentrates its electronic warfare systems to seed malware into U.S. computer networks.

Exclusive: Warning Over Chinese Mobile Giant Xiaomi Recording Millions of People’s ‘Private’ Web and Phone Use

[…]

When he looked around the Web on the device’s default Xiaomi browser, it recorded all the websites he visited, including search engine queries whether with Google or the privacy-focused DuckDuckGo, and every item viewed on a news feed feature of the Xiaomi software. That tracking appeared to be happening even if he used the supposedly private “incognito” mode.

The device was also recording what folders he opened and to which screens he swiped, including the status bar and the settings page. All of the data was being packaged up and sent to remote servers in Singapore and Russia, though the Web domains they hosted were registered in Beijing.

Meanwhile, at Forbes’ request, cybersecurity researcher Andrew Tierney investigated further. He also found browsers shipped by Xiaomi on Google Play—Mi Browser Pro and the Mint Browser—were collecting the same data. Together, they have more than 15 million downloads, according to Google Play statistics.

WASHINGTON — US President Donald Trump signaled a further deterioration of his relationship with China over the novel coronavirus, saying he has no interest in speaking to President Xi Jinping right now and going so far as to suggest he could even cut ties with the world’s second largest economy.

In an interview with Fox Business Network broadcast on Thursday, Trump said he was very disappointed with China’s failure to contain the disease and that the pandemic had cast a pall over his January trade deal with Beijing, which he has previously hailed as a major achievement.

“They should have never let this happen,” Trump said. “So I make a great trade deal and now I say this doesn’t feel the same to me. The ink was barely dry and the plague came over. And it doesn’t feel the same to me.

China Uses New and Renovated Buildings in Africa for Spying: Report

As tensions with Beijing continue to rise amid the fallout over its handling of the coronavirus, a new report sheds light on the alleged nefarious movements of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) across Africa.

The report by the Heritage Foundation, obtained exclusively by Fox News and titled “Government Buildings in Africa Are a Likely Vector for Chinese Spying,” asserts that “Beijing likely has better surveillance access to Africa than anywhere else by having built or renovated at least 186 African government buildings,” and that the government “likely uses surveillance to, among other things, advantage its companies competing for contracts, spy on U.S. officials, and influence African officials.”

Coronavirus, Floods and Locust Swarms: Kenya is Fighting a ‘Triple Whammy’ Of Crises

Already navigating the coronavirus pandemic and the worst invasion of desert locusts for more than 25 years, parts of East Africa are now being devastated by flooding.

Heavy rains over the last month have led to overflowing rivers and lakes and mudslides, with Kenya particularly impacted. Almost 200 people have lost their lives and according to the Kenyan Red Cross, while hundreds of thousands have been internally displaced since the rainy season began in March.

Authorities and international organizations on the ground face an uphill battle against spiraling food insecurity, which had already been exacerbated by the locust outbreak, while at the same time working to curtail the spread of Covid-19, which remains the main focus of government resources.

Hungary Outlaws Changing Birth Gender on Documents

Hungary’s parliament has approved a law that bans transsexuals from changing the gender they were assigned at birth on official documents.

The law, proposed by the governing right-wing Fidesz party, passed by 133 votes to 57.

Rights groups fear it will worsen discrimination against LGBTQ citizens; an opposition MP said it was “evil”.

But the government, led by PM Victor Orban, says it will end legal uncertainty.

The administration insists it will not prevent anyone expressing their identity.

The decision “to register children’s biological sex in their birth certificates does not affect men’s and women’s right to freely experience and exercise their identities as they wish,” the government’s communications office said…

  2. “Nigel Farage Hires Fishing Boat to Patrol the English Channel and Rescues 20 Migrants Including Small Children Trying to Get to Britain in Tiny Sinking Dinghy” Wasn’t he a patriot until recently?

    • According to the story, he saw that the people were in imminent danger and called the coastguard, who rescued them. What happens to them subsequently is for the British authorities to decide, and I daresay we (and he) may find their actions inadequate and disappointing.

However, whether these people were still genuine refugees (unlikely, as they’d got as far as France’s Channel coast), or economic migrants/benefit tourists, they were fellow humans in danger of drowning. If you really believe Farage was wrong, I have nothing for you but contempt.

      • Then let you have contempt for men such as myself who given a 10 E-Boats and some rough hard men, would have sunk them without hesitation nor remorse and no survivors. Kindness to these 3rd worlders is a weakness we can no longer afford to have, or otherwise we shall perish for our lack of spine and fortitude. If you feel otherwise, you are sheep for the coming slaughter and therefore have no more sympathy nor empathy left to give. This is the land of Wolves now.

    • Farage didn’t rescue anyone – he was reporting on claims the French Navy are actively aiding illegal immigration into the UK, when presumably the captain of the boat he had chartered notified the rescue services because they saw a leaky dinghy crammed with people that looked like it was about to sink.
The Mail headline is entirely misleading and the article seems mere propaganda by omission, completely ignoring Farage’s main claims and instead seems to attempt to undermine his position in exactly the way you’ve just illustrated by responding to a misleading headline with: “Wasn’t he a patriot until recently?”.

Incidentally I don’t see a problem with a patriot rescuing people from drowning regardless of their immigration status.

Farage wrote about the incident in the Telegraph: ‘The real scandal about illegal immigration into this country is the collusion of the French Navy’
And also of course British authorities facillitating the entire “invasion” as Farage describes it.
That’s probably behind a paywall for many readers however Breitbart London covers the main points.
‘French Navy Coordinates with UK Authorities to Transfer Boat Migrants to England’
      https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2020/05/21/farage-french-navy-coordinate-uk-authorities-boat-migrant-transfer/
Farage also claims the boat’s captain was threatened by the French Navy to leave for safety reasons and then UK Coastguard that if they didn’t stop filming the handover ‘his boat would be held in port’.

      • This boat overcrowding is a strategy to garner sympathy from idiots. Let it sink or take it back to France to stop it and potential future invasion parties.
Wouldn’t have these idiots overloading boats if they were returned or genuinely at risk. UK leaders must really want these guys in the country.

        • ‘This boat overcrowding is a strategy to garner sympathy from idiots’
          Really?
People smugglers couldn’t care less if the boat sinks, they’ve been paid.

I hope you’re never in troble on the ocean and you need a stranger to save you from drowning, they might decide you’re an illegal immigrant and leave you to drown, after all you were just trying to garner sympathy.

You’re right in that it’s a distraction – the main problem is the treasonous behaviour of the progressive Tory party, where the three main govermental positions are held by 2 and 3rd or 4th gen migrants, who seem to believe it’s their duty to encourage more migrants – more people that lookm like them in other words.
It’s colonialism and the weak and spineless Brits are being colonised and even pay towards their own demise and keep voting for pro-mass immigration parties, while racial hatred of whites, and Islamic apologism and propagnda is inculcated in the schools and universities.
White Brits are on course to be a minority in schools by 2037 – while Mulsims doubled their pop in around a decade.

The majority of Brits apparently want this as they keep voting for it.

    • You have it completely wrong. Nigel is a patriot. He is a patriot. He did NOT rescue any migrants. He is filming that migrants who are being escorted to Britain by French ships. Read the article.

  3. “Hungary’s parliament has approved a law that bans transsexuals from changing the gender they were assigned at birth on official documents.” This is where Hungary is taking a massive step back. I was supporting Orbán thus far, but this is leaning too far in the other direction.
No problem with banning these topics at school, etc., but prohibiting it alltogether goes against confirmed science.
We should simply go back to doing these things in private. Ban transgenderism. Do not ban actually suffering transsexuals.

    • There is NO such thing as transgenderism. NO one can change their DNA. They are always the gender that they were at birth. they are very confused and live a false lifestyle with the aid of medication.

      • I think it’s right to keep the sex you were biologically born with on the birth certificate. Why would someone want to change that reality? Why can’t a Trans accept that, and then just have it noted on needed documents that they are now the other sex?

It’s two Sexes’, not two genders. I know what the two Sexes’ are. ‘ Genders’ is a whole other ballgame that started just a few decades ago.

  4. “Also, a man in Aurora, Colorado shot a Waffle House cook who refused to serve him because he wasn’t wearing a mask.”

Seems fair. All waffle House cooks should wear face masks. He might have sneezed into the waffle.

    • Whoops! I should have said, “because the customer wasn’t wearing a face mask.” I’m certain the cook had one on.

  5. The “Communist” state of Victoria has 300,000 public servants on similar money to California. Quote

    300,000
About the Victorian public sector. The Victorian public sector is a 300,000 strong workforce employed by the Victorian Government to provide services and support for Victorians. We are the people in 1800 different departments, agencies and organisations across Victoria who deliver services to the public”.
They have had some shockers lately with the driver licensing and the births, deaths and marriages. Few months ago it took 8-12 weeks to spit out a death certificate. All they had to do was type it in then print it out. How hard is that? LOL
Victoria has a population of 6.359million. Doesn’t that mean we are in more trouble than California???
On top of that we have federal public servants in each state, employed by the federal government at Services Australia (was Centrelink) and Medicare etc

  6. East Africans have been stringing giant nets to collect small birds that eat bugs, larvaie, insects etc. They’ve captured and eaten millions of them…driving them into extinction….and then wonder why they have locusts?

    • I don’t think their collection of small birds has anything to do with locusts. Locust eggs live in the soil for seventeen years before they hatch and make a nuisance of themselves with their loud irritating buzzing sound. Cicadas can strip all the green plants in one area and move on to the next.

  7. Okay, the bars in Texas will be allowed to re-open, how about churches, or is it just Miller time?

  8. The French collusion with the migrants has me fuming with rage. We were perfectly willing to demolish the French fleet in during the Second World War at Mers-el-Kébir and Dakar on the mere threat of this very thing happening, now the Royal Navy not only tolerates the French permitting this but outright escorting the invaders to British shores, it even participates itself. This is Operation Sealion 2.0 and this time its for real.

  9. “Germany Agrees to Share Debt With Other EU Countries to Finance Recovery Plan” — Germany did not agree to any such thing. Only its corrupt leadership sold its workforce again to perpetuate its toiling for others.

  10. Anyone swim the channel coast to coast recently? Drowning in lies. The Brotherhood leveraging that victimhood for the goody two shoe types who will be looking for girlfriends. Yes I know. Work it out.
