Sir Robert Peel Must be Rolling in His Grave

Our English correspondent Seneca III weighs in on the current UK police state under the ChiCom virus regime.

Sir Robert Peel Must be Rolling in His Grave

by Seneca III

Things have come to a sorry pass in this once green and pleasant land. As I look around subsumed by dismay and morbid fascination, I have been forced to come to some appalling conclusions:

  • A society in which you are investigated for your thinking when you openly question whether men can “be” women is a Sick Society.
  • A society in which you are arrested for detaining a man who molests your daughter in public is a Dhimmi State.
  • A society in which tens of thousands of organised sexual crimes against children go knowingly unpunished to avoid the terrible charge of racism is a Conquered State.
  • A society in which it is bigoted to object to having ageing men dressed as women “twerk” to pre-school children in a public library is a Deviant Society.
  • A society in which basic observations of reality are forbidden by the use of magic words — “racism” “-phobia” — is a Silenced State.
  • A society in which you can be ruined for speaking the truth out loud is a Police State.
  • A society in which the shameful and disgusting are celebrated as virtues is a Failed State.
  • A society which has replaced the national home with the borderless market of everywhere is a Globalist State.
  • A society in which an invented grievance is a good career move is a Doomed State.
  • A society that penalises the talented and the bright in the name of “diversity” is a Suicidal State.

It is no surprise then that UK cops have been knuckling down clearing the streets and public places when there is no necessity to do so under even the latest Covid rules, and even when people were complying with them. They have actually gone to the length of poisoning scenic lakes so that people will not endanger the new status quo by travelling to look at them and enjoy the scenery and the fresh, healthy air.

This is no surprise, really, as it is axiomatic that the more power given to any police, the more they will abuse it. That is a law of nature, has ever been thus, and is one which in this particular case is exacerbated by three factors. The first is that their officer class is, on the whole, populated by graduate Common Purpose drones and ambitious box-tickers who appear to have nothing but contempt for Peelian principles. I doubt if they’re even taught anymore at Bramshill* (or whatever they’ve restructured and renamed it in the name of PC progress since 2015).

The second is that the collective IQ of the beat constabulary is now not, shall we say, particularly high for reasons iterated below, and thus thinking things through pragmatically in the light of observed reality is not really their forte. This leads them to function as a type of pre-programmed automata in accordance with the vague instructions given to them in their last briefing from the drones and box-tickers who have even less of a clue about what is happening in the real world.

The third and final — and the one with perhaps the most detrimental effect on the front line — is the introduction of ‘Affirmative Action’ over the last few decades and the consequent lowering of physical and mental entry qualifications in order to meet politically mandated quotas, many of such recruits having ideological motivations not in keeping with those of the majority population they exercise power over.

These powers are not something they or the government will willingly give up, and it is not out of the question that come the day — in approximately six months by my reckoning when they should do so by self-relinquishing these powers through the ‘Sunset Clause’ recently appended to the enabling legislation — they may not, but extend instead.

Consequently, for the time being, when being questioned or having your thoughts corrected, being fined or arrested, just smile sweetly, be polite and always use English with as many three or more syllable words as you can muster. There is little else you can or should do until the moment of truth re the Sunset Clause — and if it is extended, then…

Basic Rules for Guerrilla Warfare

1.   Before attacking fully, determine the strengths and weaknesses of the enemy, particularly those points where he is most vulnerable, e.g. his supply lines and communications systems.
2.   Strike from the direction least expected. Change that direction frequently. Never strike from the front. After a strike break up and disappear into the crowds and your normal routine.
3.   Be a distributed organization difficult to penetrate; the classic cell structure is perfect for this.
4.   Initial priority is not to inflict specific enemy casualties but to disturb the hive and win hearts and minds to join with you and fight for you.
5.   Slowly apply leverage to the enemy’s weak points.
6.   Be prepared to stay in it for the long haul. Watch, wait and adapt accordingly. Vary points of attack and introduce new tactics whenever possible. Keep the enemy on his back foot and don’t ease up on the pressure.
7.   Hope and pray this never has to be, but if it must, it must be.

  1. The western EU is a PC laboRATory. Open to wildlife smuggled in from all over. Too much intercourse is bound to end in something untouchable. There used to be compulsory medicals and masses of other checks and balances. What happened? I imagine there aren’t enough guns and ammo or men to meet the inevitable?

    • If you have not seen the writing on the wall for the past couple decades, and have not armed up by whatever means by now? Congratulations, you are now sheep for the slaughter. Time to become the Wolf.

  2. In the army we had standby duties at home and abroad. It’s back. Except this time what was abroad is massed at home complete with its villages of simple folk in their costumes who have not changed for over a thousand years. And have no intention of ever doing so. Ask Erdo.

  3. Thanks as always for a great essay. Things are only slightly better here in the People’s Republic of New York in the once free land of America.
Liberal/ Far Left/ Commie/ Dem New York City is now the epicenter of what those in the know call the Chi Com Flu although it may soon become a crime to mention that the origin of this plague was indeed China.

The admitted Commie Mayor of NYC has now suspended our First Amendment and declared that he will permanently shut down our houses of worship if they don’t obey his laws. Apparently our Constitution no longer applies in many Blue States.

    https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2020/03/29/new-york-mayor-bill-deblasio-announces-immediate-government-suspension-of-first-amendment/

Meanwhile, the lies, hysteria and panic continue to be stoked by the Fake News Media so that people will not be paying attention as their most precious freedoms and civil rights are being stolen from them by fascist Marxist dictators like Cuomo and Deblasio who already had their boots on our necks to the point of strangulation.

I wish that I could tell you that there is a spirit of rebellion here in the States or that there are acts of massive civil disobedience. But I would be lying. There is none. We are living in self imposed exile. Very few people are even protesting. In fact, in many towns (I live in the suburbs just north of NYC) if you post anything on social media that even suggests the Government is doing wrong, the mob will descend upon you and tear you to pieces (figuratively speaking of course, although soon it may turn out to be literally if they know where you live).

Where are the great patriots like Patrick Henry, whose words helped inspire the American Revolution?

    https://www.history.com/news/patrick-henrys-liberty-or-death-speech-240-years-ago

For myself, I am willing to take a chance with the Chinese Flu even though I am supposedly at risk because of my age and medical condition. I don’t care. I am volunteering for the war. I would rather go out fighting than submit to the unconscionable loss of my liberty and civil rights.

One other note- all of our dedicated “public servants” you know, those bureaucrats who seem so dedicated to making your life miserable in the best of times, are now on indefinite (permanent?) paid vacation courtesy of the taxpayers. Nice work if you can get it.

  4. I will also add to the guerilla cribsheet.
Do not frag civilians, ever. Collaborators are exempt, however.
OPSEC, OPSEC, OPSEC! Any electronic device is presumed compromised by the Man.
Do not trust any phone or computer, unless you have your own very, very good crypto.
Good crypto is of apocalyptic importance. Just ask Admiral Yamato.

    Some required reading:
    ‘ Cryptonomicon’ by Neal Stephenson
‘The Moon is a Harsh Mistress’ by Robert A. Heinlein.
‘A field guide to monkey wrenching’ is also handy, as is the ‘Anarchist’s cookbook’.
Use the enemy’s methods against him.

Kill the Head and the body dies.
In the old days, we were taught to go after the jimmy with the most stuff on his epaulettes. Put a LAW into the tank or vehicle with the most antennas on. Great effort is devoted to locating and targeting the headquarters group, the bloke schlepping the radio, the TOC. An enemy formation with the head blown off isn’t an effective organization, it’s a rabble. Striking the head, gouging the eyes puts the fear of a christian god into the leadership caste, as some kind of unspoken gentleman’s agreement to the effect of ‘ thou wilst not shoot the leader’ seems to be in effect.
Dreck. The command group is the priority target.

    Other things to consider:
Video surveillance camera’s ‘see’ into the near infra-red. A few IR LED’s strategically located on your head gear will defeat video-optical surveillance and biometric identification.

    Cellular Jamming.
Cellular Jammers are cheap, small and effective. A moderately intelligent monkey can make one. Police and statist thugs are as dependent on phones as the dumbest instagram E-thot. Shut it down!

The Cell towers: Are un-hardened and unsecured. The Wave Guides and Cable Runs are the target to attack. A single stroke of an axe will crush a wave guide or sever the cable runs and render the entire cell tower hors de combat.
State goon radio repeater sites and data centres are lucrative points to action.
Hard Hearts, folks. We’re getting into some weird sledding days.

  5. Great read as always Seneca.
So I will add to your list since I do have some experience in counter-insurgency compliments of Uncle Sam’s Misguided Children

    8. Find where your enemy lives and a nice mixture of diesel, gasoline, used motor oil and powered soap mixed in equal measures makes the enemies home to go to impossible and makes the rest extremely paranoid where doing their jobs secondary to taking care of their own.

    9. The police brass think they are untouchable, well, make it otherwise by making their cars and transportation burning wrecks and make sure their wretched families feel your wrath. They will not be able to travel anywhere without a large security detail which makes them vulnerable especially if they have to use the same routes, and they are creatures of habit after all.

    10. This is the most important, their video feeds are all under ground and have central hubs where these lines run, destroy them and you make them blind. lasers also make CTV inoperable when shined into the lens for a couple of seconds.

  6. Re: “Poisoning scenic lakes”. Sorry SIII, but the item quoted does not suggest that the black dye used to make such sites less “photogenic” is poisonous.

Seneca the Elder (are you related?): banning mass gatherings makes sense, even if it is erring towards being over-cautious.

    • Aniline dyes are very toxic substances and are still in limited use. Although the modern dyes we tend to use today are much less toxic than aniline there is still great risk of disease or injury by ingestion of or exposure to dye dust. As we don’t know which type of dye the goons used, and I suspect neither do they, I stand by my use of the word ‘poisoned’.

      • Without further evidence, I can’t comment, but note that a retired high court judge here condemned such over-zealous police tactics.
