The following video shows a brief announcement by Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte in which he explains that most public gatherings in Italy are being suspended due to the Wuhan Coronavirus.
Mr. Conte gave his talk on television two days ago, but the situation has evolved considerably in the interim: the whole of Italy is now all but quarantined and locked down, just as Lombardy had been for the past week or so.
