Coronavirus Crisis: The Virus Will Bankrupt More People Than it Kills

The real crisis of the coronavirus is that it’s going to bankrupt more people than it kills, especially in the United States. Household debt has skyrocketed in the years following the Great Recession, putting many at risk for a financial disaster.

Businesses are shutting doors and closing shop to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. But this in itself is a disaster for many who live paycheck to paycheck, which is almost 80% of Americans. Not to mention household debt in the U.S. reached a record of $14 trillion in February during the coronavirus’ spread around the globe.

COVID-19’s economic danger is exponentially greater than its health risks to the public. If the virus does directly affect your life, it is most likely to be through stopping you from going to work, forcing your employer to make you redundant, or bankrupting your business. According to the Independent, that’ s the main concern.

Bernie Bros Warn of ‘Massive Exodus’ If Democrats Nominate Joe Biden

The Bernie Bros are vowing revenge.

As the presidential campaign of Sen. Bernie Sanders continues to crash and burn, the socialist’s most hard-core supporters are vowing they will never vote for Joe Biden at the ballot box — even if that means handing Trump a second term.

“We will never — NEVER boost or support Joe Biden or defend his abysmal record and terrible policy positions,” Henry Williams, executive director of The Gravel Institute, told The Post. “We will tell people, as we always have, to vote their conscience and to make decisions based on the interests of all the world’s oppressed people… I do expect a massive exodus from the Democratic Party.”

Biden’s First Virtual Town Hall Riddled With Technical Glitches

Every Joe Biden thing he could do, he did. The presumptive Democratic nominee made a mess of a virtual town hall Friday night, asking if he was live on air and eventually wandering off camera.

The former Veep flopped in his first attempt to campaign via a virtual town hall Friday night — a byproduct of the age of coronavirus — with a video feed plagued with glitches and a candidate who seemed unfamiliar with the demands of online chat.

“Am I live?” the former vice president asked as an Illinois voter tried to ask him a question.

“Am I on camera?” he asked later — shortly before wandering out of range and off viewers’ screens.

Dead Sea Scroll Fragments at Museum of the Bible Revealed to be Forgeries

The Dead Sea Scrolls on display at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. have been confirmed as fake, according to investigators.

Of the museum’s 16 fragments, which were purchased during a time when many counterfeit artifacts entered the market after 2002, five of them were examined and confirmed fake by Art Fraud Insights in October 2018.

In February 2019, the museum hired investigators to thoroughly inspect the remaining 11 scroll fragments.

After six months of imaging, analysis and examination, the investigators determined that the Dead Sea Scrolls were “deliberate forgeries.”

Massachusetts Coronavirus Cases Up to 123, Most Tied to Biogen

The total number of coronavirus cases in Massachusetts has risen to 123, public health officials said Friday, up 15 from Thursday.

The announcement from the Department of Public Health came hours after Gov. Charlie Baker banned gatherings of more than 250 people and minutes after President Donald Trump announced he is declaring a national emergency.

Massachusetts is one of the states with the most coronavirus cases in the country so far. While no one has died from the virus locally, 41 people have died nationwide as of Friday.

Schools across the state are canceling classes or moving to online-only education, more than 1,000 people have been put in quarantine in the state and companies are sending workers home to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The majority of the 123 cases are related to an employee meeting held at a Boston hotel by the Cambridge biotech firm Biogen last month.

The mayor of Champaign, Illinois has issued an executive order in response to the coronavirus that could potentially ban the sale of firearms and ammunition, Edgar County Watchdogs reported.

The mayor’s executive order gives Frank Feinen “extraordinary powers,” including the ban of the sale of firearms and ammunition, among others restrictions including a ban on the sale of alcohol, and the sale or giving away of gasoline or other liquid flammable or combustible products, according to Edgar County Watchdogs, a local government accountability nonprofit.

The Important Differences and Similarities Between COVID-19 and the Flu

The coronavirus is not “exactly like the flu” although both have similar symptoms. But the differences are important, as are the similarities.

Some of the symptoms of both the seasonal flu and the coronavirus are aches and pains, sore throat, and a fever. These can also be symptoms of the common cold. They all may feel similar to those suffering from their symptoms, but it’s important to note that the novel coronavirus is not the same as the seasonal flu, experts stressed Wednesday.

COVID-19, the illness caused by the novel coronavirus, proves deadly in around 3.5 percent of confirmed cases. While this is not the same as its mortality rate, given many people may be infected but not realize it, it is significantly higher than seasonal flu, which typically kills 0.1 percent of patients. “There is still considerable uncertainty around the fatality rates of COVID-19 and it likely varies depending on the quality of local healthcare,” said Francois Balloux, Professor of Computational Systems Biology at University College London according to Science Alert. “That said, it is around two percent on average, which is about 20 times higher than for the seasonal flu lineages currently in circulation.”

Video: Man Claims 5G Transmitter Killing His Tree

Half the tree is totally dead while the half further from the device remains normal.

“We have a tree here. Not a very good looking tree. All the bark’s falling off on the left-hand side,” the man filming says.

Viewers can see all the tree’s bark on the left side has fallen off while the right side remains intact.

Next, the cameraman shows the right side of the tree full of leaves and compares it to the left side which is totally barren.

“Dead,” the man states. “You know why? Because that’s right next to it,” he adds, pointing the camera to what is said to be a 5G transmitter.

“These 5G transmitters are lethal,” he claims. “If that’s what it’s doing to a tree, think about what these are doing to our health.”

This Week in the UK — Truth is Still Being Crucified

This week it has also been reported that the UK’s Human Rights watchdog is under pressure to investigate our Conservative party with accusations of Islamophobia.

In an initial document submitted in May 2019 in which 150 people connected to the party were accused of anti-Islam remarks, a new document now accusing 300 individuals, including Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, has been presented to the Equality and Human Rights Commission by the Muslim Council of Britain.

From the 300 allegations, just three of them are as follows:

Dominic Cummings, Chief Advisor, for orchestrating the Vote Leave campaign and playing on fears of immigration. Karl McCartney, re-tweeting posts by the alleged anti-Islam activist, Tommy Robinson Andrew Sabisky, who was forced to stand down as an advisor after using a discredited statistic forecasting the UK to be a majority Islamic nation by 2050. [Link], [Link]

The allegations made against Boris Johnson were that he used dehumanizing and offensive remarks against Muslim women who wear a veil likening them to ‘bank robbers’ and ‘letterboxes’.

On February 27, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made good on his many threats to send millions of migrants and refugees to Europe, despite a 2016 deal between Europe and Turkey to hold them. Apparently seeking to make Europe experience the full force of his intentions, Turkish officials sent busloads of migrants — predominantly young men from Afghanistan and Iran, according to several reports — to Turkey’s border with Greece.

First Case of Coronavirus Hits Lesbos as Greeks Fear Virus May Spread in Migrant Camps

The Greek island of Lesbos, which hosts 20,000 migrants in the Moria refugee camp, has confirmed its first case of coronavirus, raising fears that the virus could spread among migrants living in poor sanitary conditions.

The island, one of the top destinations for migrants attempting to reach Europe by boat, sees more migrants landing on its shores nearly every day.

Over the past week, the security conditions at the Moria camp have deteriorated to such an extent that many NGOs withdrew from the camp.

‘Media Bias/Fact Check’ Site Served With Cease and Desist, Gets Fact-Checked

CCD Editor’s note: Our site has also come under attack by this dubious website, which forced me to correct them on our About Us page. I’m delighted that someone is finally taking them on in the courts.

Discredited, self-styled ‘fact-checker’ website was served with a ‘cease and desist’ legal notice today for publishing unsubstantiated and defamatory claims against Principia Scientific International (PSI).

MEDIA BIAS/FACT CHECK site owner admits he is unqualified and misrepresented himself as a seasoned journalist.

UK’s Home Office Declares That Calling Someone Ugly is a Hate Crime

The United Kingdom’s Home Office published a tweet yesterday which says that insulting someone’s appearance is a hate crime.

The tweet was accompanied by a video from the charity Changing Faces showing men and women with disfigured faces speaking insults that might be directed at people such as themselves. One woman, however, appears to have no disfigurement other than being bald. The video ends with a call for viewers to join the organization in their fight to “stop the hate.”

  1. “The wife of the Spanish prime minister has tested positive for corona(wuhan)virus” the one time in a man’s life he probably would have preferred to have been sleeping on the couch. Adios, Spanish PM.

  2. I wrote that they are shamelessly lying!
They call coronavirus – “community-acquired pneumonia”

Rosstat recorded an increase in the incidence of pneumonia in Moscow
The number of patients with pneumonia in the capital increased in January by 37% compared with January 2019, follows from the data that Rospotrebnadzor provided to Rosstat.

“You can still call bo-bo cough.” People found out what replaced coronavirus in Moscow, and it’s funny and awkward

    https://medialeaks.ru/1303lug-sobyanin-kashel/

Social network users read Sergei Sobyanin’s message about new hospital places and were surprised: it seems that officials are going to treat people not at all from the coronavirus. Of course, the mayor did not confuse anything, but bloggers and their subscribers cannot be stopped. Now they are joking about what else a new type of virus might be called.

… But the choice of words of a politician turned out to be a little unexpected. A few tweets earlier, Sobyanin mentioned that it was a coronavirus, but in his announcement of hospital places he replaced the name COVID-19 with “community-acquired pneumonia”.

… The fact is that people are no longer accustomed to the fact that officials and state-run media replace some words with their synonyms with less pronounced emotional coloring. So, the word “explosion” is most often replaced by the word “cotton”, and “fire” – by “smoke”. This is part of the so-called “information preference regime”, the goal of which is not to sow panic.

I think – all this silence was paid by the Pension Fund of Russia – they dream of stopping paying old people pensions.
Here the relics of John were brought to Pereburg the other day – a crowd of old women is standing in line and kissing them according to the Orthodox tradition.
These are also tricks of the Pension Fund – I think so.

  3. No surprises here. Richard Horton, editor-in-chief of The Lancet is another ‘Woke’ ‘Activist’ and well known Trot who, despite his impressive medical qualifications, chooses not to see the epidemiological wood from his ideological trees.

Quote, for example: “Recently, Richard Horton has been criticised in web-based communications for the decision to publish an open letter regarding the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The letter generated charges of inaccuracy, malicious intent, and inappropriate content for publication in a medical journal.”

He’s another damned globalist disinformation peddler of absolutely no use and with nothing to contribute to the crisis.

    Ignore him.

  4. Kind of response that is needed for merkills and the deadly flying mustlie bearded pathogens. Some key Chinese might be turned on to something. No wait…..Bunch of ex-colonials half spring and public school boys running the UK right now. Easily imagine what Churchill would not hesitate to do.

  6. Bulgarian migrant hunter: I catch them, tie my hands and throw them back to Turkey
Our special correspondent Daria Aslamova talks about how the Bulgarians living on the border are trying on their own to stop the new flow of refugees rushing to the EU

    “Evil Dinko”

Bulgarians proudly say about Dinko: “He alone did what the whole European Union could not. He cleaned the border of Bulgaria from migrants. ”

“I started clearing the border four years ago,” Dinko says. – And now I have five armored personnel carriers, a helicopter, drones, and on alert I can raise one and a half thousand people living along the border. There is also a quick response team.

    – And where did you get the APCs? I ask.

“I bought it from the army, through one right person,” he answers. – 25 thousand euros apiece.

    – And how many migrants have you caught over the years?

    – About a thousand people.

“It’s not about the numbers,” one of Dinko’s friends explains. – The main thing in this business is PR, advertising. Migrants know that the evil Dinko lives on the Bulgarian border, and it’s better not to fall into his hands. Therefore, they turn towards Greece.

“Dinko, do you beat them?” I ask.

“Beat,” he simply answers. – Strongly. I bind their hands and lay them facing the ground so that they remember: this is not necessary. And then I throw it back to Turkey. I have people everywhere, even from the Turkish side, who tell us when they see a group of migrants approaching.

“Is it true that you bind their hands with pig’s intestines?”

“On even days, I associate; on odd days, I do not associate,” Dinko laughs. – We’ll see how it goes!
