Canada’s Cost of Living Goes Up, While Wages Decrease

Canada’s cost of living is going up, despite the fact that wages aren’t, according to Yahoo Finance.

Statistics Canada has revealed that median after-tax income did not change for individuals, remaining at $61,400. That’s virtually unchanged from 2017 and 2018.

This figure shows that wages have not kept up with inflation. It also doesn’t keep up with corporate profit, which rose nine percent in the space of that same period.

This has resulted in more insolvencies as Canadians struggle to keep their heads above water. The only province that did not feel this effect was Doug Ford’s Ontario, which saw incomes raise by 3.3 percent.

“The Public Doesn’t Decide the Nominee”: DNC Leaders Move to Limit Democratic Choice in the Convention

Authored by Jonathan Turley

As we have been discussing, establishment figures in the Democratic party and the media have been preparing to block any nomination of Bernie Sanders, including using the “superdelegates” to hand the nomination to another candidate. The New York Times reported Thursday that the Democratic establishment was preparing for open warfare over blocking Sanders, even if it shatters the unity of the party.

Biden Wins Big in South Carolina Primary, In Crucial Boost for Struggling Campaign

Former Vice President Joe Biden decisively won the South Carolina Democratic primary on Saturday, claiming his first victory of the 2020 race and giving a crucial boost to his struggling campaign ahead of Super Tuesday.

The victory tracked with polls indicating that Biden, buoyed by support among black voters, had a significant lead in the state for months over Sen. Bernie Sanders and others, despite the surging Vermont senator beginning to close the gap after early primary wins. Fox News projects Sanders will finish second, followed by wealthy progressive activist Tom Steyer — who then ended his campaign within hours of polls closing.

Idaho Students Demand Starbucks Offer ‘Free’ Vegan Milk That ‘Doesn’t Support Animal Abuse’

Students from the University of Idaho staged a sit-in at a local Starbucks Wednesday, protesting the coffee chain for “penalizing” people who want non-dairy milk options.

The sponsoring organization, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), cheered the students as they filled the coffee house.

Sit-in leader and Local Herbivore President Kaylee Carr spoke with Campus Reform, saying that “wanted to peacefully raise awareness about the fact that Starbucks is penalizing people for choosing a healthier drink option that doesn’t support animal abuse and is better for the environment by charging extra for plant-based milk options.”

Man Paralyzed by Cops During Illegal Raid Over $100 Weed Gets $11m as Lying Cops Walk

The taxpayers of South Carolina were put on notice this week that they will be the ones footing the record $8.5 million bill for the cops who dumped dozens of rounds into a Myrtle Beach man over $100 worth of pot. The victim, Julian Betton was left paralyzed by Drug Enforcement Unit officers with Myrtle Beach police hell bent on eradicating a plant that is legal in some form in most of the country…

Radley Balko summed up the near-homicide of this low-level Myrtle Beach pot dealer at the hands of police.

Julian Betton’s offense was to sell $100 worth of pot to a friend. For that, South Carolina police battered down his door, fired 57 shots at him and hit him nine times, leaving him paralyzed and without the use of several major body organs. The cops then lied about the circumstances of the raid to make it seem as if Betton deserved every bullet. When Betton awoke from a coma, his leg was shackled to the hospital bed. Prosecutors then charged him with several felonies — enough of them to put him in prison for the rest of his life, should he survive his injuries. For those two sales of pot totaling $100, Betton will not only be saddled with paralysis and debilitating injury, he’ll also have a felony record. The cops who broke down his door, filled him with bullets and then lied about what had happened will suffer no punishment at all.

What Balko’s synopsis doesn’t reveal, is that there were a series of cover-ups the police raid team engaged in, and what might seem like a team effort to coordinate their stories in the aftermath of the planned conflict. First, the team did not seek after, nor secure a no-knock raid warrant. Betton’s high-definition security footage reveals the police officers made no such effort to knock on the door, which is required by law, even though their police reports stated they did knock and announced their presence.

Secondly, the footage also reveals the team was not dressed as SWAT team members are typically dressed, used unmarked cars, and moved so swiftly in an effort to breach the door with a battery ram, that Betton’s neighbor actually thought a robbery was taking place. The confusion over the identity of the intruders, their no-knock breach of the front door, and the swiftness at which they moved, may have given Benton cause to arm himself, something for which Balko says he would have been justified.

The attempt to coordinate a cover-up appears to have continued, with each officer on the scene turning on their body cameras only after they shot the marijuana dealer 9 times. Betton’s wounds were described by Balko.

Physicists Discover Mind-Blowing New Material by Accident

Strange state of matter may upend physics as we know it

A team of scientists at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, have made an exciting and accidental discovery in the often-overlooked field of materials science. This team has previously made several leaps forward in the world of materials science by stacking ultra-thin 2D layers on top of each other to form new structures. These sheets are only a couple of atoms thick — so thin, in fact, that the electrons within them are restricted to movement in just two dimensions (hence their name ‘2D materials’).

Such materials are too small to see even with the use of microscopes. Swastik Kar, an associate professor of physics at Northeastern University and one of the co-authors of the study, describes the new discovery as “a perfectly repeatable array of pure electronic puddles” in between the two ultra-thin layers. The rules of quantum physics make it energetically favorable for the electrons to pool into these predictable patterns, despite the fact that they should repel each other due to their negative charge.

“It’s almost like a new phase of matter, because it’s just purely electronic,” Kar added.

Coronavirus: Govt Not Aware of Any Cases in Hungary

The government is still not aware of any cases of the new virus being present in Hungary, Gergely Gulyas, the head of the prime minister’s office, told a press conference on Wednesday. Gulyas noted coronavirus is spreading in Europe, adding that there was little chance Hungary could avoid COVID-19.

He said the government knew of two Hungarians who had contracted the virus: a woman living in Vienna and a man on a boat in Japan. He added that Hungary was prepared to offer immediate help to any affected Hungarian individual no matter where they were in the world. Those who asked have been transported from Wuhan back to Hungary. The Hungarian authorities also monitor any developments connected to the Hungarian man on the Japanese boat and if necessary, returning Hungarians will be provided with a quarantine. The press will be immediately informed if any person in Hungary is identified to carry the virus, he said.

Poland Home to “Happiest” Generation of Poles as Country Racks Up Strong Economic Growth Figures

Poles alive today are the “happiest” in history owing to strong economic growth that has seen the country’s economy surpass some of its rivals in Western Europe and out-perform “Asian tigers”.

New data from the International Momentary Fund (IMF) on Purchasing Power Parity (PPP), which shows how much the same products cost in different countries and currencies and allows people to compare differences between economies, reveals that Poland’s PPP has risen to $33,891, triple what it was 1990 when it was only $10,300.

“I am the luckiest Pole ever. I am a member of the richest, safest, and the happiest generation in Poland’s history,” wrote Professor Marcin Piatkowski, senior economist at the World Bank and an associate professor at the Kozminski University in Warsaw. “Since 1995, Poland has also become the fastest-growing large economy in the world among upper middle-income and high-income countries, beating even the Asian tigers such as South Korea and Singapore. In 2018, the average level of income in Poland exceeded two thirds of Western Europe, the highest level ever.”

Islamic Funding for Delhi Riots

The Narendra Modi led Union Govt must probe the foreign funding to the Islamic rioters and the suspicious role of foreign media houses to show their allegiance to the provocative pro-Pakistani rioters in Delhi.

Upendra Bharti | HENB | New Delhi | Feb 29, 2020:: Foreign media’s coverage on Delhi Riots in New York Times, BBC, Washington Post, Time, The Wall Street Journal…. all are finally exposed as an attempt to show Hindus as attackers and Muslims as victims. These Media houses also scathingly attacked Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah as the perpetrators of the riots without finding the truth of Delhi Riots started the night of 23 February 2020, till it ebbed on 25th February.

The violence in North East Delhi has claimed the lives of 42 people, left hundreds injured and destroyed many properties including houses, schools, shops, etc. Even as the city is limping back to normalcy, the Delhi Police has filed at least 123 FIRs and arrested or detained as many as 630 people so far.

The fact remains that in these riots both the Hindus and Muslims have lost their lives and properties, but a large part of the western media is giving the riots a colour of conspiracy against the Muslims. The foreign media doesn’t wasn’t to show the truth and is trying to report it as the violence on Muslims by Hindutva forces.

The established anti-India and anti-Modi US newspaper, The New York Times, in its headline wrote, “As New Delhi counts the dead, questions swirl about the police response.” They also wrote in their article, “Witnesses say, officers stood by when Hindu mobs attacked Muslims.”

Another infamous anti-Hindu US newspaper, The Washington Post reported on Delhi violence and wrote, “India’s hard-line Hindu nationalist watched anti-government protests centred in Muslim communities for months in anger that finally boiled over in the worst communal rioting in New Delhi in decades, leaving 38 People dead and the Indian capital shell shocked.”…

Turkish regime leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday announced that his government had ‘opened the gates’, and that as many as 18,000 migrants had crossed the Turkish border, adding that as many as 25,000-30,000 could gather Greece’s eastern border in the coming hours and days.

Erdogan complained that EU funds being transferred to Turkey help the support migrants were not arriving quickly enough, and as a result — just as he had promised months ago — he was forced to ‘open the gates’ and flood Europe with migrants, Greek daily newspaper Ekathimerini reports.

Hungary: Szijjarto: National Interest for Syrian Refugees in Turkey to Return Home

The Hungarian government supports all decisions that allow for the return home of Syrian refugees from Turkey, Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto has said.

This would be in Hungary’s national interest, Szijjarto said in a video posted on Facebook on Saturday. The migration situation in Turkey is becoming harder to handle, Szijjarto said, citing his Turkish counterpart in recent talks.

More than four million migrants are staying in Turkey and the Turkish authorities are finding it increasingly challenging to provide for them, he said.

Orban: Regular Migrants Attacks at Hungary’s Border Expected

Hungary should be prepared for further waves of migrants and “regular, massive attacks” on its border fence in the south, Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on Friday, commenting on reports that Turkey has decided not to prevent any more Syrian refugees from travelling on to Europe.

Speaking on public Kossuth Radio, Orban said that Hungary’s border and its people must be protected. No matter how many migrants should come, Hungary’s authorities are able to secure the borders, he added. “We don’t need to worry about Hungary’s security as long as we are united.” Orban also announced that preparations have started for a summit of the Visegrad Four countries and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to be held before the European Union summit in late March.

St. Louis Woman Robbed, Beaten, Stabbed by 6 Foot Somali Migrant Teen Who is Then Let Off Because He Has an IQ of 49 (Updated)

A St. Louis woman was robbed, beaten and stabbedby her 15-year-old neighbor last week. The teen stole her phone — twice — beat her once and then came back and beat her again with a a metal rod while she was on the phone with police.

But the six foot teen is still free. The court let him off because he has an IQ of 49.

The teen behind the attack is a Somali immigrant teenager.

Hassan is a 15 year old refugee from Somalia who lives with his family. He is 6’ and approx 175lbs, much larger than my sister. He has broken into Alicia’s car 3 different times and broken into another neighbors house. The police were involved every single time and reported that nothing could be done since he was a minor. Surely this time would be different, though.

Top Democrat Pushes Open Borders, Leaves Townhall After Being Challenged by Legal Immigrant Group

Leading Democrat rising star, Central Florida Congresswoman Stephanie Murphy, who chairs the allegedly “moderate” Blue Dogs Caucus, was visibly upset when the founder of Legal Immigrants for America raised concerns over the rise in Communism and Socialism within the United States.

Amapola Hansberger, who legally immigrated from the violent far-left and Communist Sandinista regime in Nicaragua during the Cold War, reminded Murphy at the townhall discussion with Murphy that the goal of Socialism is Communism.

When asked by Jim Hansberger about open borders and sanctuary cities, Amapola’s husband who founded and later sold the RAM Golf corporation, Murphy said that there must be a pathway and that these people “need to be brought out of the shadows”. When pressed about the violent streaks and costs of illegal immigrants, Murphy exploded and yelled “LET ME FINISH” at the table of her constituents.

She went on to reason that the misinformation and rhetoric of today’s political climate (of course not on her side but anything that highlights a need for a secure border and deportation of illegals), makes it impossible to do anything about the issue. This is one of the common talking points among progressives and leftists, who Murphy claims not to align with. However, she votes with Nancy Pelosi’s hard-line leftist agenda almost 100% of the time.

New BBC Drama Depicts Blacks as Slavemasters, Whites as Slaves

Just what we needed.

A new BBC drama series set in London depicts a “dystopian” alternate society where blacks are slavemasters and whites are slaves.

The show, which features controversial ‘woke’ rapper Stormzy, is called Noughts & Crosses and is based on a series of novels by Malorie Blackman.

The plot showcases “an alternative history in which African people had gained a technological and organisational advantage over the European people, rather than the other way around.”…

“At this point why don’t Netflix and the BBC and all the other leftist media outlets simply make a film or series called “ we hate white people”. It would be so much more honest,” one person commented on YouTube.
