Despite Overall Weakness; German Unemployment Remains Steady at 5% in February

BERLIN (AP) — Unemployment remained steady in February in Germany, despite overall weakness in Europe’s largest economy, the Federal Labor Agency said Friday.

The rate sat at 5%, when adjusted for seasonal factors — the figure used by most economists — where it has been for months. In unadjusted terms, it remained for the second month at 5.3% with a total of 2.395 million people jobless.

Germany’s state statistics agency reported two weeks ago that the country saw zero economic growth in the fourth quarter and a mediocre 0.6% increase for the whole year.

US Consumer Spending Growth Slowed in January While Incomes Jumped

Americans pulled back on their spending in January, even as their incomes surged.

The data suggested the economy was growing modestly before the threat of coronavirus arose.

Consumer spending increased 0.2% last month, down from 0.4% in December and smallest gain since October.

Incomes rose 0.6%, the biggest gain in nearly a year.

Canadian Terrorist’s Appeal of 40 Year US Sentence “Easily Rejected, “ Say Prosecutors

Canadian terrorist and New York City bomb plotter Abdulrahman El Bahnasawy is attempting to evade a 40-year prison term by appealing his sentence.

Prosecutors with the US attorney for the South District of New York claim that the appeal has no merit.

“The imposition of a term of 40 years’ imprisonment for an individual who attempted to carry out a mass-casualty terrorist attack for ISIS in New York City was not shockingly high, shockingly low, or otherwise unsupportable as a matter of law. El Bahnasawy’s challenge to his sentence is easily rejected,” say prosecutors.

Chased by a Horde of Antifa Terrorists, Portland Police Arrest Journalist Who Was Victim of the Far Left Mob

As reported here on the Gateway Pundit a couple of weeks ago, the antifa terrorists once again took over the streets of Portland to cause havoc, this time focusing their rage toward independent media. The event was originally to be a counter-protest to a KKK rally, but the KKK canceled and antifa attacked several videographers, pepper spraying them and chasing them down the streets. All the while Portland police in riot gear stood near the steps of their headquarters and watched it all happen. When the police finally jumped in and made an arrest, they arrested one of the videographers, Brandon Farley, who was running away from the threatening antifa gang.

Democrats, NY Times Blame Trump for Coronavirus

Flat out lies being levelled at President exposed by AP

Democrats and the New York Times are blaming President Trump for the spread of the Coronavirus to the US, despite the fact that he presided over enhanced border controls and blocking flights from infected areas weeks ago.

The AP noted Wednesday that both Mike Bloomberg and Joe Biden are flat out wrong in claims that Trump cut resources for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Divisive New Mexico Gun Seizure Bill Signed Into Law

Further estranging the state’s sheriffs and pro-gun advocates, New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham on Tuesday signed a new “red flag” bill into law.

The measure, SB 5, was backed by national anti-gun groups such as Giffords and Bloomberg-financed Everytown, who applauded the action by Lujan Grisham, a Democrat who ran for office on support from such groups. The bill squeaked through the Democrat-controlled state Senate earlier this month largely along party lines in a 22-20 vote while the state House greenlighted the proposal 39-31.

The law adopts an Extreme Risk Fiream Protection Order program in the state to allow courts to order temporary gun seizures for up to a year. Arguing the concept ranges from flawed to downright unconstitutional, 30 of the state’s 33 sheriffs opposed the move. To this, Lujan Grisham this week said the lawmen should step down if they persist in vows to refuse to enforce the controversial seizures.

“If they really intend to do that, they should resign as a law enforcement officer and leader in that community,” she said, as reported by ABC.

Joe Biden is Pushing for a Ban on All Semi-Automatic Weapons

Democrat Joe Biden is essentially pushing to reinstate the “assault weapons ban” which expired in 2004. Not only does he want that ban in place, but he also wants to ban all semi-automatic weapons in the process, all but eliminating the second amendment.

Thursday night during a CNN town hall, Biden talked of meeting with victims’ families after the December 14, 2012, Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting and also meeting with families from the February 14, 2018, Parkland high school attack. He ramped up his vicious attacks on innocent people by saying he would drastically reduce their basic human rights.

Joe Biden ratcheted up the Democrat Party’s attacks on the Second Amendment:

Biden: ban “assault weapons” & “get those clips that have multiple bullets in them not for sale, not be able to sell silencers, all those things.”

This is a broadside on every law abiding American. pic.twitter.com/NDA0YYVlQv

— Steve Guest (@SteveGuest) February 21, 2020

Biden’s plan would ban nearly all firearms currently on the market. This isn’t extreme either, consider other democrats have admitted that they want a complete totalitarian regime in charge of all of us — even to the point of saying they will forcibly take your guns at gunpoint. Because it’s OK for politicians to protect themselves against us, but not OK for the rest of us to protect ourselves from their control and authoritarianism.

Rod “The Rat” Rosenstein’s Sister is CDC Dr. Who Countered Trump on Coronavirus

The Swamp is a family-friendly place

The CDC official who publicly countered President Trump’s stance that coronavirus is being blown out of proportion by mainstream media is the sister of disgraced Deep State rat Rod Rosenstein.

Apparently, the siblings share a disdain for President Trump because in 2017 Rosenstein said he was willing to illegally spy on him and suggested invoking the 25th Amendment to remove the president.

Now, Rosenstein’s sister, CDC Dr. Nancy Messonnier, is telling the world POTUS is lying about coronavirus.

Following President Trump’s claim that mainstream media is trying to make the virus “look as bad as possible,” Dr. Messonnier released a statement on behalf of the CDC countering the allegation.

The first case also arose in the Bay Area, in Solano County.

And Oregon health officials late Friday reported their own coronavirus case of unknown origin, which would be the country’s third. The patient is from Washington County, but no other details were immediately available.

COVID-19 Cases Linked to Iran Rise in Canada

Days after the Canadian Health Minister warned citizens to prepare for a possible COVID-19 pandemic, Quebec has reported its first presumptive case of the virus.

Currently, of Canada’s 13 reported cases of COVID-19, six of them, including the recent case in Quebec, are linked to Iran. As of February 23, Iran has been added to the Government of Canada’s Travel and Tourism advisories for nations impacted by the coronavirus. Iran is currently listed as a Level 2 nation, with travellers being warned of an outbreak in the region and to take special precautions for travel.

If You’re Serious About Browser Privacy, You Should Probably Pass on Edge or Yandex, Claims Dublin Professor

Microsoft Edge and Yandex are “much more worrisome” compared to Brave, Chrome, Firefox and Safari, according to a paper on browser privacy (PDF) published this week.

Douglas J Leith, a comp sci professor at Trinity College Dublin, investigated the network activity of six browsers — Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Brave, Microsoft Edge and Yandex — using a proxy to capture encrypted traffic.

Using a default install, he inspected the data sent when first starting the browser, as well as data transferred when navigating to a web page by pasting a URL into the address bar and by typing the URL — the latter being interesting because it may use a cloud-driven autocomplete feature. All the tests were conducted on a Mac, even for Edge. Finally, he checked on activity when the browsers were left idle for 24 hours.

Is Edge really worse than Chrome — the latter being from one of the biggest data collectors in the business? The problem, according to Leith, is to do with identifiers that browsers send to the vendors to enable different searches and sessions to be tied together.

“Edge and Yandex both use hardware identifiers,” he said. “That’s tied to the physical hardware of the device and can’t easily be changed. Whereas Chrome and Firefox use identifiers that are essentially random numbers generated when the browser first starts.” The Chrome and Firefox identifiers do persist between sessions, but are reset if you do a fresh install. Leith explained that to ensure a true fresh install, he deleted configuration data left behind in the user profile.

The leftist outcry managed to force the duly elected governor Thomas Kemmerich (Free Democrats) to step down following a wave of Antifa violence against Free Democrats and the conservative Values Union in Angela Merkel’s formerly conservative Christian Democrats, the Gateway Pundit reported.

Chinese Scientists Desperately Researching Coronavirus Discover That it Shares Human Cell Binding Site With HIV, Ebola

Chinese scientists have reported that the coronavirus ripping through populations worldwide is much more likely than its close cousin Sars to bind to human cells, as it contains unexpected genes which link it to HIV and Ebola.

The research comes from Nankai University in the north Chinese city of Tianjin. Published on February 14, it has already become one of the most viewed papers on the platform, indicating the massive interest both in China and abroad for the latest findings on the virus.

It is well-known by now that 2019-nCoV shares over 80 percent of its DNA with Sars virus, making the cause of the 2002/3 outbreak in Southeast Asia its closest genetic relative. Sars invaded the human body by binding to a receptor protein, called ACE2, on the membranes of cells. But this was ultimately the downfall of that virus — ACE2 is rare in the cells of healthy people, which limited the spread of Sars significantly, resulting in it burning itself out by 2004. In the end, only about 8,000 people worldwide were infected, as compared to covid-19 which has already infected over 80,000 people.

Unlike Sars though, the novel Coronavirus has a section of genes that are absent from the Sars genome, according to this research. In fact, they bear resemblance to genes found in HIV and Ebola.

Hugo Lopez-Gatell said one of the patients is in Mexico City and the other in the northern state of Sinaloa. While a second test is still pending on that case, he said, “We are treating this as confirmed.” Neither is seriously ill; one is in isolation at a hospital, the other is isolated at a hotel.

At least five family contacts of the first patient have been placed in isolation. He said the men had traveled to the northern Italian region where there has been an outbreak and had returned to Mexico between last Friday and Saturday.

Greece Locks Down Land and Sea Routes as Migrants Are Teargassed While Trying to Storm Border After Turkey Says it Won’t Stop Its 3.6 Million Refugees From Reaching Europe

Europe is on the brink of a new migrant crisis as Greece locked down its land and sea routes while Turkey pulled out of a long-standing deal to stop the country’s 3.6 million refugees from travelling beyond its borders.

Hundreds of asylum seekers immediately began making their way towards Greece and Bulgaria — and, if they successfully cross the border, could carry on deeper into Europe.

Turkey’s neighbours responded by reinforcing their frontiers. Greece said it was locking down land and sea routes ‘to the maximum level possible’, while Bulgaria deployed 1,000 troops and military hardware to its 190-mile border with Turkey.

Greece’s Migrant Crisis: “A Powder Keg Ready to Explode”

A plan by the Greek government to build new migrant camps on five Aegean islands has sparked violent opposition from local residents, who fear that the facilities will encourage yet more mass migration from Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

The government says that the new camps, expected to be operational by July 2020, are needed to alleviate overcrowding at other locations that have been the focus of international criticism. Local residents counter that the migrants should be transferred to mainland Greece.

Hungary Prepares Itself for a Two-Front War; Invaders From the South and Coronavirus

As the coronavirus spreads and migrant invaders make their way out of Turkey and head northwest toward continental Europe, it’s only a matter of time before thousands upon thousands of military-aged men are amassed at the Hungarian border — the gates of Europe’s Schengen Zone.

To protect the Hungarian people from both scourges, Viktor Orban and the Hungarian government are taking preemptive action. During his weekly interview with Kossuth Radio, the Hungarian prime minister warned that given the fact that the virus had already spread throughout Italy and countries in the western Balkans, “it must be said that the virus will also appear in Hungary, and we are preparing for that eventuality.”

Maryland Democrats Push to Limit ICE Access to Driving Records

Maryland Democratic lawmakers are proposing legislation that would limit federal immigration officers’ access to a state database that includes drivers licenses and other records by requiring them to get a warrant before conducting any image searches.

The database — the Maryland Image Repository System — includes license photos and other motor vehicle records and has the capability to compare images with facial recognition software, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Right now, credentialed U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents can freely access the system. The legislation would require them to secure a warrant prior to performing an image search and provide a record of all federal queries.

  1. When Germany played the devil and started its hate for Serbian initially USA objected, citing that Serbia was Allies’ friend. But treachery is inherent. Not standing their ground for anything. Destruction of Yugoslavia started, as they were treated by Janissaries.

Shed crocodile tears on Idlib kids and women. Again the devil Turk is playing with fire. He knows how easy and ready nato is to obey his ottoman firman. He knows how to embroil nato countries unto his whims. He wants to incinerate the cowardly europe and then colonize the area from Syria to Norway.

Why has he suddenly become Libya’s ally?

He’s stealing Mediterranean oil and gas with the help of nato and eu union.

He steers europe by the nose, while Greece and Cyprus, both EU members are being sacrificed at sultan’s altar.

Why the west worships devils no one knows.

Turkey ordered Syria to let turkey colonize it and steal its oil and readily the west supported fake “their ally” . The stooges of turkey.

No sense of justice. does nato know it is starting a fire?

Where are the wise people who know turkey’s evil intentions.

1914, 1939 Germany was turkey’s ass. Today all the west.

danger : treachery : France granted the province of Askandaroon to turkey.

      • Mason, you are right. France felt, according to many historians, that to keep Turkey neutral, they had to give her Port of Iskandarun.
        Appreciate your correction.

      • I think he’s referring to the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem who met with Hitler and discussed defeating the Jews, English and Communists. He was still a muslim and still allied to Hitler. The year was 1941 but I think the connection is still valid. Also he has not mentioned the push by Germany in support of their Albanian allies to eliminate the Serbs in Bosnia by a NATO bombing. The Albanians are muslim and the Germans were their allies against other Europeans. Le Mesurier was the UK misinformation officer in Bosnia just like in Syria, making up fake news to build the case against the Serbs. After his death last year I read about it again. Read articles about what he did not what everyone claimed happened.
The Germans are now allying themselves again with Russia ( deja vu, 1939) buying their oil and gas, whereas all other countries are supposed to enforce sanctions and pretend (?) to be in fear of a Russian invasion. The Germans just con everyone and just manipulate to get what they want. They can’t be bothered even pretending to pay 2% of GDP on defence because they don’t need it. They are Russia’s biggest gas customer and they have nothing to fear from Russia. Once they control large amounts of gas in Europe with Nord Steam 2, what are they going to do with that power? That’s why Trump made gas deliveries to Poland to prove that countries do not have to be blackmailed by Germany.

  2. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3HxiYxZQAig

Tim Kellner, German YouTuber who calls out Merkelite madness, was brought to court by SPD politician and Palestinian-“German” scum Saswan Chebli for calling her a “quota migrant” and “Islamist speaking doll”. He was acquitted, and she says it’s a “failure of democracy”, here Tim is tearing apart her atrocious interview with Bild.

  3. The Terminal Madness. Man is about to learn that he isn’t the top of anything.
The inbred globalists coasting on the fumes of their ancestors will be shocked when the chaos genie won’t fit back in the bottle.
Those of us called crazy or mental will be too busy laughing and enjoying popcorn.

  4. Germany’s muslim allies the Albanian muslims. In 1943 Italy fell and Germany took control of Bosnia and built the Nazi German Greater Albania. They formed the Albanian SS. Quote from http://global-politics.eu/kosovo-nazi-germany-nazi-created-albanian-security-forces-kosovo-world-war-ii/

“Most of the Albanian Nazi collaborationist forces were made up of Albanian Muslims from Kosovo-Metohija. The Nazi-created Gendarmerie, the special police, the paramilitary formations, the militias, and the Ushtars, Albanian security forces, were mostly from Kosovo-Metohija. It was only the Albanian Army that was made up of Albanians from Albania.”
This relationship is still strong and Germany has imported many Albanians and other muslims from Kosovo and Bosnia.
“Jewish survivors of the Holocaust in Kosovo-Metohija place responsibility for the genocide against Jews in Kosovo on the fascist Kosovo Albanian Committee. The members were Rushid Mehmet, Sahsivar Alic, Husen Pristina, Tahir Kaldziu, Malus Kosova, and Sadik Galimuci. They incited the first and second waves of arrests of Jews in Kosovo-Metohija.”
First they got rid of the Jews then they got rid of the Christians. Then a lot of the Albanians moved to Germany. Crazy.
