The Railroading of Tommy Robinson

The following video is a report on Tommy Robinson by Lars Andersen, a Danish vlogger and former police officer. Mr. Andersen discusses Tommy’s speech at the Free Press Society and his interview on Danish TV, both of which were published here earlier this week.

The subtitled video of the Deadline interview with Peter Münster referred to by Mr. Andersen was posted here last September.

This video is an excellent fisking of the Danish MSM. Many thanks to Tania Groth for the translation, and to Vlad Tepes for the subtitling:

Dore Gold Speaks About Jew-Hatred in Europe

Dore Gold is an Israeli diplomat, a former ambassador who is currently the President of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs.

The following video was recorded during the same event in Italy at which Matteo Salvini spoke. In it Mr. Dore discusses Jew-hatred in Europe, and also the threat to Israel posed by Iran. He is speaking in English, but the Italian voice-over in the video all but obliterates the audio of his remarks.

Brexit: The Cities, the Shires and the Open Sea

At the end of this month Brexit will become a reality. Or will it somehow yet again be postponed? Our English correspondent Seneca III has some thoughts on the matter.

Brexit: The Cities, the Shires and the Open Sea

by Seneca III

In eight days and eight nights as of this writing I will greet the rising sun on the first day of February 2020 with much the same status as I unknowingly did seventy-eight years ago as I entered into this life as a free-born child of England, but I incline to say “much the same status as”, because my freedom, as tentative now as it was then, will not be complete. Yes, our D-Day does hover on a near horizon — in this case just over a week away — but its success or failure is as unpredictable now as it was in June 1944.

Thanks to over four decades of scheming, surrender-treaty-signing politicians we will at best still face almost a year subject to binding EU controls, restrictions and judgements and to the continued payment of huge membership fees to an organisation of which we will no longer be a member and from which we will receive no benefit (if we ever did), plus, at the end of it all, paying thirty-nine billion pounds of ransom money to finally escape its clutches.*

The terms and conditions of this robbery at legal gunpoint are enabled and enforced by the chains those treaties acceded us to. That the ends of those chains are firmly in the hands of an implacable enemy construct across the Channel to which our groveling governing classes pay obeisance is humiliating and dangerously detrimental to our financial and sovereign future.

And, just to ice the cake of our subservience, the rape and plundering of our fishing grounds by EU Seine Net, Electrification and Beam-Dragging Mega-Trawlers will continue at an accelerating pace to the point where, with their food chains destroyed from the bottom up, those waters will have become near sterile wildernesses by the time we get them back eleven months later.

Yet, on that day of days when we at least partially pull the plug, I will still stand proud to be British, to be one miniscule part of a Union and a people who, despite several decades of subtle deceits and nigh on four years of high treason in the corrupted Mother of Parliaments have, for the umpteenth time since the Norman invasion and the third time in the last hundred years, found the will and the courage to resist and repel yet another attempt at foreign hegemony over the once green and pleasant land that is this small wind-swept archipelago in the North Atlantic. And possibly even saved Europe from itself in the process.

Still, I am foremost minded of the fact that at that at 2300 hours on the 31st we will still have that long, uncertain year’s slog ahead of us, a hopefully beneficial progress we might at least be able to sustain for a short span, but only for a short span because the singular triumph of Brexit which succeeded against all odds over this latest attempt to subordinate us to the beat of different drummers is not the linear and forward looking process it would appear to be. It is in actuality a small length of arc on the circumference of the closed circular course of our political affairs where a precession that, if not recognised or accepted with insouciance and thus immediately rejected, always tends to produce another attempt at dominance by inimical entities either from either within or without. Or both.

The Cultural Enrichment Game

MissPiggy has translated an article from the Kronen Zeitung about propaganda workshops in a Vienna school that force children to role-play the experience of migrants when they apply for asylum.

The translator includes this note:

People need to know what kind of deviant vileness they are imposing our children WITHOUT permission. THEY ARE THE ENEMY. Those are tactics the enemy uses. Sneaky and perverted brainwashing.

The translated article:

CHILDREN BEING MARKED and the fuss made over “refugee games” in the Viennese School

by Michael Pommer
January 22, 2020

The suspicion sounds really unbelievable: Somewhere between breakfast and homework, children at a Viennese school are said to have been forced into a “refugee game” in order to experience first-hand what it feels like to be displaced. Asylum associations actually offer such workshops for educational institutions.

And this is how the story is supposed to have happened: Students at an educational institution were forced to play the game. As soon as they arrived in the building, so the accusation goes, they were treated like refugees, even being marked as such with coloured bands of fabric.

But the story goes even further: The 12- to 14-year-olds were made to wait a long time in a room. Apparently to simulate through first-hand experience the complexity and the psychological terror caused by an asylum application procedure.

Not discussed with parents

Sounds absurd, but such workshops really do exist. They are offered by the Asylum Coordination Austria, among others. “Has this been arranged with the parents?”, the Krone asks. “No, what for?” responds the employee Herbert Langthaler. “We’ve already had 10,000 students in such workshops.”

Department of Education audits

This “game” is advertised something like this: “The aim is to highlight the experiences of displaced people and the emotions associated with them, such as fear, loneliness and despair.” The Directorate of Education considers this to be problematic and is examining it.

Matteo Salvini’s Complete Speech on Israel and Jew-Hatred

On Monday I posted an excerpt from a speech about Jew-hatred given in the Italian Senate by former Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini. The video below shows the entirety of Mr. Salvini’s remarks.

The full text hasn’t completely assuaged my reservations about outlawing opposition to the existence of the State of Israel. I can (grudgingly) admit to a very narrow window of necessity to criminalize any interference in the execution of a sovereign state’s foreign policy as it pertains to Israel — but that’s it. And even that gives me First Amendment heartburn.

In any case, the complete speech is now available, and you can judge for yourselves. Many thanks to FouseSquawk for the translation, and to Vlad Tepes for the subtitling:

Who is Alma Zadic?

Last year’s snap election in Austria confirmed my assessment of the character of Chancellor Sebastian “Boy” Kurz: he is an unprincipled opportunist who will tack in whatever political direction is required to keep his career sailing towards greater power and control.

Prior to last September Mr. Kurz had presided over a coalition government which included his party, the ÖVP (Österreichische Volkspartei, Austrian People’s Party) and the “far-right” FPÖ (Freiheitliche Partei Österreichs, Austrian Freedom Party) led by Heinz-Christian Strache. Unfortunately for both men, Mr. Strache’s “Ibiza scandal” brought down the government and forced a snap election.

When the smoke cleared after the election, Sebastian Kurz remained top dog in the Austrian political scene. The only difference is that now he leads a coalition with the “far-left” Greens. In other words, he’s willing to do whatever it takes to stay in power.

Part of the ÖVP’s New Green Deal involved installing a Muslima named Alma Zadic as justice minister. In the essay below Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff provides an overview of Ms. Zadic in her new political role. For readers who are interested, Elisabeth has also written two pieces at Gatestone on the new government, “The Austrian People’s Party and the Greens — A Successful Coalition for the Future?” and “Austrian Coalition Agreement: The ‘Road to Serfdom’”.

Who is Alma Zadic?

by Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff

Austria’s new minister of justice, the pretty, smart thirty-something Alma Zadic, currently occupies the center of attention in Austria, that is, in Austrian mainstream media. She is known for her outspokenness with regard to “online hatred”, and she has been turned into the poster girl for the fight against “online hate”, calling for and looking to implement strict measures to eradicate this particularly nasty form of hatred. She needs to look no further than Germany, where the previous minister of justice and current foreign minister Heiko Maas has already paved the way for a law that allows police to raid the homes of Facebook users in the middle of the night simply for voicing an opinion and not being polite enough about it.

Who is Alma Zadic?

In a recent interview, Alma Zadic said she was born in Tuzla during the Bosnian war and fled together with her brother and her parents to Austria. Her father arrived in Austria in 1992 and was reunited with his family in 1994, when she and her brother and her mother left Tuzla in a UN convoy. Zadic says she was traumatized by these events and does not remember most of what happened prior to entering school in Austrian at the age of 10. She did not feel welcome in her first school, mostly because she did not speak German yet; only when she switched to a school with a higher proportion of foreigners did she feel accepted and supported. Zadic reports that she was subjected to racism as a young girl and often shed secret tears.

Nevertheless, Zadic was able to take advantage of Austria’s excellent education system by finishing school, graduating from law school, gaining practical experience in a place like the Catholic university in Viacenza, Italy, and a postgraduate degree at Columbia University. This was complemented by traineeships at the International Organization of Migration as well as the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague. She practiced law until she was elected a member of the Austrian parliament in 2017 for the far-left “Liste Pilz”, which she left for the Greens when re-election chances diminished for the 2019 elections.

Gates of Vienna News Feed 1/20/2020

Today’s pro-gun rally in Richmond went off without any major incidents. I haven’t seen any photos or videos of Nazi flags, but the clip of a communist woman calling for a revolution and the overthrow of the U.S. government was very entertaining. The 2nd Amendment supporters even picked up the garbage from the streets after the event.

In other news, the European Parliament passed a resolution condemning Hungary and Poland.
