The Transients of Bihac

The following documentary about migrant camps in Bosnia-Herzegovina appeared recently on Hungarian TV. A reporter visited several immigrant camps in Bosnia, both official and unofficial (illegal), and talked to the residents there.

Bosnia is a mostly Islamic country, but that doesn’t mean the locals are happy about finding themselves deluged with culture-enrichers from Pakistan and Afghanistan. Just as in Western Europe, the invaders are almost all young men of military age. The fact that that they don’t want to stay in Bosnia, but long to continue onwards to greener pastures in Germany or Italy, provides little consolation for local residents who have to endure the depredations of the migrants.

The interviews with migrants seem mostly to have been conducted in English, with a voice-over in Hungarian. The interviews with the police and local residents are (presumably) in the local Bosniak dialect with a Hungarian voice-over.

Many thanks to CrossWare for the translation, and to Vlad Tepes for the subtitling:

Video transcript:

00:30   In Bosnia the situation is nasty. Every day there have been violent crimes,
00:34   which were committed by migrants against each other or
00:38   against locals. But now even the animals are not safe.
00:42   In the recording we can see a migrant who invaded
00:46   a garden and raped a dog. The sodomy astonished the Bosnians.
00:54   …Silveszter [Szarvas], a year ago
00:58   when we were in Bosnia we sought the flow of money;
01:02   more precisely, how the migrants acquire funding,
01:06   with the help of international money-transfer companies.
01:10   That exciting story had multiple interesting points.
01:14   First of all, one only encountered military-age men,
01:18   not a single female migrant; that was the situation as well.
01:22   The second is the question of money. Back then you proved that the migrants
01:26   receive funds without any documentation;
01:30   they get money without any identification or any other travel documents.
01:34   At the time the migrants explained to me
01:38   that everybody has a “friend” or buddy who has
01:42   a passport, and he is the one who picks up those sums,
01:46   and distributes them afterwards. Interestingly, we could never
01:50   find this buddy or friend, and it is also problematic
01:54   as to what sort of sources provide these funds to the migrants.
01:58   …a year or two later,
02:02   the migrants still have access to substantial sums of money
02:06   by some means. Even the police were unable to investigate it.
02:10   Most of the migrants who arrive our area have money
02:14   in their pockets. Here they use a variety of transactional methods,
02:18   such as Western Union — who have been living here for more than a year and spent
02:22   the money they arrived with. They must be getting more funds from somewhere,
02:26   but we can’t tell from where. Some of them claim
02:30   their families are sending them the money, but concerning that we were unable
02:34   to investigate anything. We do not have any more concrete information about that.
02:38   But certainly they are receiving regular sums via those services
02:42   that are performing such transactions, for example, as I mentioned before,
02:46   Western Union. —Bihac is in the northern part
02:50   of Bosnia-Herzegovina on the bank of the River Una. The town
02:54   was famous earlier for its tourist monuments, but now,
02:58   since about 2017, the migration
03:02   is what has placed this city at the center of public attention.
03:06   Bihac has a population of around 40,000 people, where about 5,000 to 6,000 migrants
03:10   have been staying for almost two years now, which is a huge number compared to
03:14   the local population of the area. Taking this into consideration,
03:18   it is not surprising, that the center of the town is full of migrants,
03:22   which has become less and less tolerable for the locals.
03:26   Are you bothered by the crowd of migrants? —Yes of course I am bothered by them. This town
03:30   cannot solve what is happening here by itself.
03:34   Have you had enough of the current situation?
03:38   Naturally I have had enough. We were never able to go out;
03:42   we could never have anything in our hands, not even our phones, because they take it from us.
03:46   We are terrified in our own homes; we lock everything, because we are afraid
03:50   the migrants will break in. It is terrible situation.
03:54   They bother me, the migrants, very much so. They are dirty,
03:58   Messy; they throw garbage away everywhere. This is unacceptable!
04:02   I lived for 40 years in the west; I have learned a lot of things,
04:06   for example: we can’t be undemanding about our own environment.
04:10   They came here, they litter and burn everything down.
04:14   Have you had enough with the migrant crisis?
04:18   Yeah, we’re starting to have enough, a little bit. The migrant crisis impacts
04:22   not only us, but all of Bosnia-Herzegovina;
04:26   but the majority of the issues are in our area. This is a problem, and the state
04:30   is doing virtually nothing. This is not good for anybody. This is not good
04:35   for the migrants and not good for us locals. We’re having a hard time because of this.
04:38   We had a similar situation in the past,
04:42   but we never caused any trouble; we did not steal,
04:46   we did not ruin towns. We are not safe here;
04:50   after 6PM we can’t go outside, because it is extremely dangerous. That is the
04:54   biggest problem. With the arrival of the migrants
04:58   crime increased by 30-40% in the city.
05:02   In our area, in the last ten months,
05:06   125 crimes were committed, among them one case of murder, three
05:10   charges of attempted murder. There were two occasions of serious assault,
05:14   and we had many assaults with less serious injuries.
05:18   We initiated investigations for drug possession and dealing.
05:22   Most of the crimes are theft and property damage,
05:26   illegal occupations of unused properties.
05:30   Because of the chaotic situation, the locals organized demonstrations
05:34   multiple times. [Unknown name] himself six times!
05:38   Their demands were to eliminate the reception centers
05:42   around Bihac and limit the free movement of the migrants
05:46   in the town. None of the demands were met.
05:50   The population is under significant stress. Let me give you
05:54   what information I have. From 6 in the morning till 10pm,
05:58   the migrants are controlled by the police, in theory.
06:02   In reality the locals are under curfew, because the locals
06:06   are afraid to move in the city, because they are afraid of the migrants,
06:10   afraid of being attacked. All of these constitute harassment of the citizens.
06:14   Yesterday the migrants burned down a building in a nearby village,
06:18   and this type of event is repeated frequently. The migrants have the latest smartphones;
06:22   they have unlimited funds.
06:26   As for their faith, none of them are as religious as they say.
06:30   We’re talking about Islam here: there are numerous things that are not allowed in what they doing,
06:34   because these people [migrants] are engaged in prostitution, theft, and
06:38   they kill, too. In Bihac, since 2017
06:42   there were two official migrant camps,
06:46   but when those started to fill up, the municipal government
06:50   created a camp about 5 to 6 km (3.5 miles) from the town.
06:54   It’s on the top of a hill, this migrant camp,
06:58   which the locals call simply “The Jungle”.
07:02   Presently around 600 migrants are staying here,
07:06   and they attempt to reach Western Europe from here,
07:10   because the Croatian border, which is the border of the EU,
07:14   is only a couple of kilometers from here, on the other side of the mountain.
07:18   But the winter weather is not making it easy to cross the border.
07:22   Exactly; that is why the migrants are stranded here.
07:30   The camp on the mountain is called “Bucijak”.
07:34   With the approach of winter the camp is less and less viable.
07:38   While we are chatting with the migrants,
07:42   the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe, Dunja Mijatovic, arrives.
07:46   She is also Bosnian. She may be familiar, because her hobbies include
07:50   constantly worrying about the rule of law in Hungary,
07:54   and she loves to criticize Hungary for our treatment of migrants at the border fence.
07:58   She is “right”, the Bosnians are “much more” humane,
08:02   with the kind of circumstances they have created. It is enough to look around here.
08:06   This is not a place for human beings.
08:10   This camp must be closed, as we stated earlier.
08:14   Winter is coming, and we know the Bosnian winter is so cold that these people
08:18   could not withstand it in such circumstances. We must show much more understanding and humanity;
08:22   such places should not exist in Europe. We talk about
08:26   the respect of humanity, how we respect all human rights.
08:30   As a Bosnian, I am ashamed, but I will try to do everything in my power
08:34   to explain to the authorities that this cannot continue in this way.
08:38   There were many discussions in the past about closing the camp at Vucjak,
08:42   because in addition to the inhumane conditions, another problem exists in the area:
08:46   in the direction of Croatia, where the migrants are trying to escape:
08:50   from the time of Yugoslavian war
08:54   there remain many unexploded mines.
08:58   This is a jungle. When I try to sleep in the evening, I am thinking
09:02   than I am a jungle resident. If you’ve seen the movie “Tarzan”, just like that.
09:06   We are all jungle residents, like him. The Bosnian police and government say
09:10   that I am not a human being, I am just a jungle resident. At night
09:14   we saw wild pigs by the hundreds, and we saw a bear, too.
09:18   One of my friend was there around 3PM and saw a bear.
09:22   The migrants were fairly angry about Dunja Mijatovic’s statement
09:26   that they have to move into another camp, because
09:30   if they succeed in closing Vucjak, the new place will be
09:34   somewhere around Sarajevo, which is opposed by the locals there.
09:38   That is why that investment is delayed.
09:42   This morning that woman told us we have to go to another camp in Bira,
09:46   but this is not good. I do not want to go to Bira, and do not want to go to Sarajevo, either.
09:50   I want to go to Italy. —Among the approximately 600 migrants living in the camp,
09:54   everybody wants to go to the West.
09:58   Where do you come from? — Pakistan. —Pakistan? — Yes!
10:02   And would you like to reach the European Union? Which country?
10:06   Italy. —Italy? Why Italy? — Because my brothers are
10:10   in Italy. —And what is your plan in Italy
10:14   for the future?
10:18   We want to stay in Italy for three years, get papers and then return
10:22   to Pakistan, and I will bring my whole family to Italy.
10:26   OK, I see. There are some
10:30   who have long-term plans. This Indian man
10:34   wants to go to Canada.
10:38   I believe the Prime Minister of Canada,
10:42   Justin, he will help us and let us in.
10:46   I think the European Union does not want to accept the migrants;
10:50   that is why I changed my original destination and decided to head for Canada.
10:54   Despite the circumstances, the migrants invest themselves
10:58   in Vucjak. Based on the news, the camp has no electricity.
11:02   Despite that, an extended generating station operates there.
11:06   There is music and even a small store working in the tents.
11:10   They brew tea, knead and fry pies.
11:14   There are some who do this by burning used tires.
11:18   I have been in multiple migrant centers and I noticed
11:22   why only men can be seen there. —We are Muslims,
11:26   and as Muslims we cannot bring their wives and sisters with us,
11:30   since our religion forbids this. I am from Pakistan,
11:34   the women from Pakistan are not here, because in our culture
11:38   the women do not leave the country. So while the man
11:42   migrates to Europe in a hope of a better life, the women
11:46   and girls are left at home, exposed to that danger
11:50   that the men in theory escaped from. The Bosnian situation
11:54   has already made some migrants uncertain.
11:58   From the Vucjak camp — for a moment — let’s jump over to the Dir
12:02   migrant center, which is managed by the UN. We asked,
12:06   but did not receive permission to shoot video inside the camp.
12:10   So we are chatting with the migrants in the street. One of them,
12:14   during our interview, said he was shocked to learn that at home in Afghanistan,
12:18   he had much better life than here in Bosnia.
12:22   When we are in our own country, we are afraid of terrorists,
12:26   but in Europe, we are afraid of the police. It is the same.
12:30   So it would be much better at home, in our own homeland.
12:34   There we can live in our own house and not outdoors, like here.
12:38   Yes, that is a much better idea.
12:42   Because of this, he now holds a much stronger opinion that instead
12:46   of this hopeless longing for the West, he will return to his own homeland.
12:50   The lethargy of the migrants is primarily caused by the Croatian police.
12:54   Did you tried to cross the Croatian border? —Yes.
12:58   Five times. —Five times? —Yes, but the Croatian police is no good.
13:02   What does that mean, that is not good?
13:06   When they capture you, they hit you all over, whatever they can hit.
13:10   Now let’s head back to Vucjak, because most of the migrants set off
13:14   from here to cross over the border in the direction of Croatia. As we mentioned,
13:18   the border is on the other side of the mountain. —Do you usually go to the border on foot?
13:22   Yes, on foot. Usually it takes nine to twelve days;
13:26   we are hungry and do not have a proper coat.
13:30   When the Croatian police toss us back, they take everything from us,
13:34   even our shoes. —The poorest migrants
13:38   attempt on foot to cross the green border, while the wealthier ones
13:42   pay for a human smuggler. —From the camp here, one must pay €5,000 ($5,500)
13:46   to be taken to Italy from the center of Bihac via taxi. —So from Bihac they use a taxi
13:50   to take you to Italy for €5,000? Yes, yes…
13:54   And is this possible? —No, it is not possible.
13:58   No, because at the Croatian border everyone gets captured.
14:02   Yes, the police catch us, and this is a problem.
14:06   So the trip from Bihac to the EU, the trip costs €5,000,
14:10   It’s a little bit cheaper, only €2,000, when
14:14   someone from this Bosnian town wants to get into Croatia.
14:18   Obviously there are signs of human smuggling
14:22   here too; for some people this is a huge business.
14:26   And this is not only at the local level, but at an international one, a well-organized network
14:30   that can take a migrant from the starting point to the endpoint, to reach their final destinations.
14:34   In every country they go through this network exists.
14:38   In our own area, this network has doubled the number of crimes
14:42   related to this issue. We are having a hard time fighting against that.
14:46   So we are clear on the fact that such networks exist to smuggle the migrants across the border,
14:50   in the direction of Western Europe, and this type of crime is increasing drastically.
14:54   Not only is there an international human smuggling network working
14:58   all over Europe, including here in Bosnia-Herzegovina,
15:02   but some of the citizens of Bihac are also trying to get rich
15:06   from the migrants, and the spokesman for the police,
15:10   after we stopped recording, told us
15:14   that these people are very hard to
15:18   catch, because for example,
15:22   when two or three migrants get into their car
15:26   and start driving in the direction of the Croatian border, the police
15:30   can’t really capture them at the moment when the money changes hands,
15:34   so catching them in the act (in flagrante delicto) is almost
15:38   impossible. When the police stop them, asking where they are going,
15:42   and what they are doing, the driver, the local citizen from Bihac,
15:46   tells the officer that they are just driving around the area.
15:50   So the law enforcement agencies are in a hard place
15:54   from this point of view.
15:58   The human smuggling is rumbling greatly, of course.
16:02   Think about it: these people travel about 4,000 km without any documents.
16:06   Into this segment the organizations are pushing huge amount of money,
16:10   including George Soros, who openly stated that about $500 million was earmarked
16:15   for the purpose of assisting the migration. The IOM (International Organization for Migration)
16:18   and other NGOs that exist here on the territory
16:21   of Bosnia-Herzegovina are engaged in illegal activities,
16:24   and the people who arrive here are not escaping from war, because they come alone,
16:28   without any women, children and family. All of them are 15- to 30-year-old
16:32   men of military age, who even walked across Greece, too, without papers,
16:36   even though we know that Greece is member of the EU.
16:40   So that would be the first safe country, but they just pick and choose where they want to go.
16:44   This is not an escape, but rather an organized march.
17:10   Four to six thousand migrants live in Bihac.
17:14   Of course, every day, from the direction of Tuzla and Sarajevo, more migrants come.
17:18   They arrive in the area of Bihac by train and other modes of transportation.
17:22   Such an influx of migrants is worrisome.
17:26   Especially in the winter months, since we know
17:30   what kind of circumstances they are living under in the camp in Vucjak.
17:34   That problem is still not resolved. —When I visited Bihac last year,
17:38   the locals were then much more open towards the migrants.
17:42   Because in the Yugoslavian war, they themselves became refugees.
17:46   Now this way of thinking has definitely been reduced.
17:50   Our city is the only one
17:54   that struggled hard during the last two years with the issue of migration,
17:58   and tried to solve it as best as we could.
18:02   Naturally, keeping in mind the fact that the locals are in danger, too.
18:06   Based on our information that is how many are staying in our town presently.
18:10   In the last two years approximately 50,000 migrants passed through our town,
18:14   without our knowing who they are and what they want.
18:18   We are looking for a government-level solution to the problem. Bihac and Bosnia-Herzegovina
18:22   are criticized constantly by the European Union
18:26   for not providing a proper environment for the migrants.
18:30   Our city council made a decision that we would create
18:34   another camp in Ripac, about 10 to 15 km from here.
18:38   But we still have not received any feedback on whether anyone would support our idea.
18:42   The EU delegation attacks us, because
18:46   the circumstances are not proper in the Vucjak camp, as it is close to
18:50   a minefield. But they forget to mention that the migrants walk through the minefield daily,
18:54   and nobody cares about this, and nobody does anything.
18:58   The migrants are indeed living in unfortunate conditions,
19:02   but I would like to draw attention to the fact that Bihac
19:06   is not their only living place; we can see them in bus and train stations,
19:10   public squares; they sleep on the roads leading into Bihac in abandoned houses,
19:14   abandoned halls [industrial buildings], and in the summer months outside.
19:18   We would like it if all of this were finally to cease.
19:38   The Bosnians have grown noticeably tired of the fight against illegal migration. It’s a country
19:42   with a hard fate, which after the wars of past years is once again in a desperate situation.
19:46   Never mind the unstable internal political situation;
19:50   here comes the migration, too. But, seeing the present European processes,
19:54   the not-so-easy periods will be replaced by much harder, more brutal times to follow.
19:58   Not only for Bosnia-Herzegovina, but for the whole of Europe.
20:02   In Turkey, more than four million migrants presently reside,
20:06   all of whom are waiting to start moving in the direction of Europe.
20:10   In this year alone about 400 thousand of them have already started.
20:14   This is 130 thousand more than the previous year.
20:18   In the Balkans they registered more than 100 thousand foreigners
20:22   this year. Of course, this figure does not contains the number of illegal migrants.
20:26   Despite the border closure, the threat does not bypass
20:30   Hungary, either: up to this November,
20:34   the migrants attempted 12,000 illegal crossings
20:38   of our southern border. This number is almost double the figure from last year.
20:42   There is a situation! At any second the next explosion
20:46   of the migration bomb could shake the whole continent.

  1. I wonder, how does one donate to the Croatian police?

At least they are beating the invaders when they capture them, but not quite hard enough for the lesson to stick, it seems.

It is ironic, how much evil the Nazis would have prevented had they only gassed one more Jew. Soros will eventually die, but the misbegotten wealth that was the product of decades of human misery unfortunately will not also die with him. It is a pity that those most impacted by his evil support of population replacement cannot pursue his stolen wealth via class-action lawsuits or some other similar means. The fortune is large enough that the damage will continue for many generations, even in perpetuity, before it is exhausted.

    • It is naive to restrict population replacement policy to Soros or indeed to Jews as such. The legislatures of all Western countries minus parties smeared as right-wing populist are behind this policy.

Although it is true that some Jews such as Soros or Ronald Lauder of the WJC are prominent in the policy and that organised Jewry in all Western countries is pro-replacement, they would not be so virulent now if the demographic facts given in the URL below as linked to by Swiss Propaganda Research did not exist:

      https://econimica.blogspot.com/2019/07/2019-un-population-prospects-highlights.html

Soros being so prominent as the financer front man for the invasion of the EU is a clever move by replacement politicians, he being Jewish, as mention of him can be smeared as anti-semitic

  2. “Bosnia is a mostly Islamic country, but that doesn’t mean the locals are happy about finding themselves deluged with culture-enrichers from Pakistan and Afghanistan. Just as in Western Europe, the invaders are almost all young men of military age. The fact that that they don’t want to stay in Bosnia, but long to continue onwards to greener pastures in Germany or Italy, provides little consolation for local residents who have to endure the depredations of the migrants.”
As far as I know Bosnians are very against muslims from other parts of the world. They consider them primitive and brutal. Let’s not forget Bosnians are still European and their religion evolved into something more acceptable for the European mind, as opposed to pure islamic ideas.

  3. “What is your plan..?”
“I will bring my whole family to Italy.”
Remember that in Ireland the AVERAGE number of “family reunification” is twenty, and the highest seventy.
    As the reporter says,
“the next explosion of the migration bomb could shake the whole continent.”
    WWIII, anyone?

    • Mother Nature is working on a plan right now. Should be up shortly. No uniforms. That look and attitude will be the identifiers. I imagine.

    • The non British Irish government seems to be falling flat on its face when it comes to housing its own natives. Out of Africa or the Middle East? No problem. Can’t wait for the documentary series about how it all went into reverse – so fast.

  4. Thank you, CrossWare, for the giant translation.
Thank you, Vlad Tepes, for the sub-titling.
    Much appreciated.

  5. A good point that only cloud cuckoo dwellers don’t notice…where are the poor downtrodden women and children?
Usually at the front for a good photo-op to tug on the heartstrings of the bleeding hearts who want their nations to be the world’s sugar mommies.

  6. I read a story from a Bosnian about the war.He wrote everybody became an Animal(for food, medicine). But als he write everybody had a gun and many had also unregistered guns still from the war.
And look.even the Bosnians who have live for some years in war and had guns do nothing against the crimes.

And people think there will be a civil war in West Europe?Hahaha…Never!
You can also look to the USA.AThey had enough guns. Were is the war?THeres a war between black gangs and black and Latino gangs. The whites move away, and today even the blacks from the Latino Invasion.
