Fed Will Flood Market With Gargantuan $500 Billion in Liquidity to Avoid Year-End Repo Crisis
“Massive… Huge… Largest Ever”: In previewing today’s Fed statement regarding repurchase operations, on Tuesday Curvature Securities repo expert Scott Skyrm said that he expects the Fed to announce a $50 billion (at least) term operation for Monday December 23 (double the current term ops) and a $50 billion (at least) term operation for Monday, December 30. This prediction was in response to Zoltan Pozsar’s warning that reserve levels are too low and the result would be a market crash that could spark QE4.
Well, moments ago the NY Fed did publish it latest weekly “Statement Regarding Repurchase Operations” as expected laying out the Fed’s expected repo operations for the period December 13 — January 14… and it blew Skyrm’s expectations out of the water
According to the statement, the NY Fed will continue to offer two-week term repo operations twice per week, four of which span year end. In addition, the Desk will also offer another longer-maturity term repo operation that spans year end. The amount offered in this operation will be at least $50 billion, just as Skyrm expected.

S&P 500, Nasdaq Eke Out New Records in Wake of U.S.-China Trade Pact
U.S. stocks closed slightly higher Friday, though well off intraday peaks, after President Donald Trump and Chinese officials announced a trade pact that includes a rollback of some tariffs, the scrapping of further duties originally set for Sunday, and promises of targeted U.S. agricultural purchases by China.
How did the benchmarks perform?
The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, +0.01% rose 3.33 points, or less than 0.1% to 28,135.38, after hitting a high at 28,290.73, while the S&P 500 indexSPX, +0.01% gained 0.23 points or 0.01% to 3,168.80, eking out a new record close, and the Nasdaq Composite Index COMP, +0.20% added 17.56 points, or 0.2%, to 8,734.88, also a record.

An expert on terrorist networks and an inmate who claims he learned how to infiltrate countries to participated in Jihad testified on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019 in the trial of an inmate accused of recruiting ISIS soldiers in Beaumont.
Mohamed Ibrahim Ahmed, a “45-year-old international terrorist imprisoned in the U.S. Bureau of Prisons, has been convicted of additional offenses in the Eastern District of Texas,” U.S. Attorney Joseph D. Brown announced Friday, Dec. 13, according to a Department of Justice news release.

Californians Flee the State in Droves and Flock to Texas
Californians are fleeing the state in droves to avoid the massive tax burden and oppressing business policies of the totalitarian state. Of the 700,000 who fled California last year, 10% ended up in Texas, which is a much more business-friendly state.

Caroline Glick: Why American Jews Slander President Trump
The past week has clarified a lot of things about the state of the American Jewish community — and its antagonists.
The two assailants who walked into the kosher supermarket in Jersey City Tuesday and opened fire intentionally targeted the Jews. They killers belonged to the black supremacist, virulently anti-Semitic “Black Hebrew Israelite” movement which claims its members are the true children of Israel and the Jews are satanic imposters.
The shooting in Jersey City marked a predictable escalation of the anti-Semitic attacks being carried out against Orthodox Jews in the New York area. The focal points of the attacks to date have been the ultra-Orthodox communities in Brooklyn. Over the past two years, the frequency of the assaults has increased sharply. Most of them have been perpetrated by black anti-Semites. None have been carried out by white supremacist anti-Semites.
This is an important distinction because progressive politicians like New York Mayor Bill De Blasio and Senator Bernie Sanders routinely present the anti-Semitic violence in Brooklyn as the product of white supremacists.
And while it is true that to date, white supremacist anti-Semitism has been the most lethal form of anti-Semitism in America, from a political and social perspective it is poses a smaller danger to Jewish life in America than the three other forms of active anti-Semitism in America today: progressive/socialist anti-Semitism, Islamist anti-Semitism and black anti-Semitism.
These forms of Jew hatred pose a greater threat to Jewish life in America than white nationalist anti-Semitism for two reasons. First, whereas white supremacists are political orphans, with no political party willing to embrace them, progressive, Islamist and black anti-Semites are deeply embedded in the political left. Over the past 15 years, they have become powerful actors in the Democratic Party capable of bending the party to their will.
The second reason they pose a greater danger to Jewish life in America than white nationalists is because while socialist, Islamist and black anti-Semites will not cooperate with white supremacist anti-Semites, they are more than happy to work with one another to achieve their common goals. They cover for one another — as Sanders and De Blasio cover for the black anti-Semites in Brooklyn. They support one another, as both men embrace Islamist anti-Semite Linda Sarsour. Thursday Cong. Rashida Tlaib claimed that white supremacists were responsible for the attack in Jersey City.
The place where the three types of anti-Semites converge most powerfully and so present the greatest threat to Jewish life in America is on college campuses. In campuses throughout the U.S., Jewish Americans are compelled to keep their heads down or face abuse and harassment due to their common efforts to ostracize Jewish students and professors who fail to actively condemn Israel…

Even Notoriously Liberal Rolling Stone Magazine Just Blasted the Steele Dossier
Over the past three years, there have been a select few left-leaning journalists who have set aside their personal distaste for President Donald Trump and actually displayed some professional integrity.
Matt Taibbi of Rolling Stone, certainly no fan of the president, is one of those who have been dubious of the absurd notions of Russian collusion put forward by the Steele dossier that was accepted by so many in the establishment media.
Some on the left have claimed the lengthy Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuse report from Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz is a total exoneration of the FBI instead of a clear condemnation of corrupt practices.
Taibbi, however, has taken a well-deserved victory lap over how he and other doubters have been proven correct in their initial assessment of the dossier compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele.
The Rolling Stone editor noted how the Horowitz report, much like the final report from former Special Counsel Robert Mueller, was a “Rorschach test” in which partisans would see only what they wanted. For him, however, the FISA report proved “what a clown show the Trump-Russia investigation was.”

On Friday, the House Judiciary Committee voted to approve articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump. The articles — for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress — both passed on partisan lines, 23-17.
Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) angrily insisted, “My vote is no.” He later asked to check how his vote was recorded. “Mr. Gohmert, you are recorded as no.”
“There was an abuse of power at the Department of Justice, there was an abuse of power at the FBI,” Gohmert said in remarks after the vote. “This is a sad day for the country.”

Something is causing the waters just off the west coast to heat up dramatically, fish are dying off in staggering numbers, birds that feed on those fish are also dying off rapidly, and scientists have discovered 15,000 holes in the ocean floor off the coast of California. Trump Issues Executive Order Banning Any Criticism of Jews and Israel
US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order that he claims will help combat anti-Semitic discrimination based on “race, color, or national origin,” as critics say it only shields the state of Israel from any criticism.
Citing the “rise of anti-Semitism” on college campuses and elsewhere, the move seeks to apply the 1964 Civil Rights Act to Jewish Americans, and calls on the government to find new ways to “use nondiscrimination authorities” to address the issue.

Hungary: Orban Congratulates Johnson on Election Victory
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has sent a letter of congratulation to Boris Johnson, his British counterpart, on the Conservative Party’s sweeping election victory, Bertalan Havasi, Orban’s press chief, said.

Hungary: Construction Sector Output Up 20.5 Percent in October
Output of Hungary’s construction sector climbed 20.5 percent year-on-year in October, unadjusted data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Friday show.
Output of the buildings segment was up 18.8 percent, lifted by construction of residential, cultural and industrial buildings, KSH said. Civil engineering output rose by 22.3 percent, helped by road and railway developments.

Italian Court Tells Facebook to Reopen Fascist Party’s Account
A court in Rome ruled on Thursday that Facebook must reactivate the account of the neo-fascist party CasaPound and pay the group €800 for each day the account has been down, the Guardian writes. Poland: PM Describes Post-Election Political Situation in UK as ‘Clarified’

Sweden: Police in Multicultural Malmo Deploy Anti-Crime Drones
In response to the growing crime problem and too few police officers, the city of Malmö, Sweden has deployed camera-equipped drones to surveil the city at all times.
In a press release, Malmö police say that the drones will be used around the clock in public spaces, especially those where drug traffickers frequent such as Söderkulla, Oxie, Kirseberg, and Hermodsdal, Aftonbladet reports.

UK Election 2019: Boris Johnson and the Tories Win in a Landslide Victory
Boris Johnson led the Tories to a landslide victory in yesterday’s General Election as the Conservatives stole seats from Labor in its traditional strongholds in the north.
Following the announcement of last night’s results, the Prime Minister said that British people had provided him and his party a “powerful new mandate to get Brexit done”. The stunning victory represents the best general election result for the Conservatives since 1987.
As this is being written, 649 of Britain’s 650 constituencies have announced their results, and the Conservative Party has won 364 seats in the House of Commons to deliver the largest majority of any Conservative government since the 1950s. Labor took home just 203 seats in what was the party’s worst electoral result since 1935.

Sulawesi Art: Animal Painting Found in Cave is 44,000 Years Old
A painting discovered on the wall of an Indonesian cave has been found to be 44,000 years old.
The art appears to show a buffalo being hunted by part-human, part-animal creatures holding spears and possibly ropes.
Some researchers think the scene could be the world’s oldest-recorded story.
The findings were presented in the journal Nature by archaeologists from Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia.

Five Teens Arrested Over Hong Kong Protest Clashes That Claimed Life of 70-Year-Old Man
ive teenagers were arrested on Friday over clashes between anti-government protesters and residents in Hong Kong that claimed the life of a 70-year-old man after he was struck by a brick.
A girl aged 15 and her boyfriend were among those arrested in relation to a fight that broke out between two groups in Lung Wan Street, Sheung Shui, on November 13.
Police did not reveal the nature of the offences the group aged 15-18 were suspected of committing.

Two New Dinosaur Species Discovered in Argentina
Paleontologists have discovered the remains of two new species of herbivorous dinosaurs that roamed Argentina’s southern El Calafate area 70 million years ago.
Dubbed the “Nullotitan Glaciaris,” the first dinosaur measured 82 feet in length, and had four legs and a long neck, according to reps for the natural sciences museum of Buenos Aires, Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales Bernardino Rivadavia.
Remains of the “Isasicursor Santacrucensis” were also unearthed during the dig. This second species measured 13 feet long and could move rapidly on its hinds legs.

Federal Judge Backs People-Powered We Build the Wall, Inc. — Shreds Federal Lawyers for IBCW
During a hearing Thursday at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas in McAllen, U.S. Attorney E. Paxton Warner claimed the Federal Emergency Management Agency has already conducted a mapping study that confirms the construction of a border wall would cause catastrophic environmental damage on the river banks by utilizing expensive state of the art Light Detection and Ranging equipment, also known as LIDAR.
Yet, FEMA claimed has declined to provide its study to IBCW, Warner admitted.
Judge Crane shot back, chiding the government attorneys.
“If you can’t get it then how do you expect a private citizen to have access to it?” he asked Warner. “I’m not for making people jump through hoops just to jump through hoops. That seems petty.”

Ireland: Two African Migrants Convicted of Raping Student
A pair of African migrants have been convicted of raping a student in County Donegal after bringing her back to their apartment after a night of drinking.
Ghanian nationals Boakye Osei and Kelvin Opuk, aged 29 and 33, following a five-week trial, were found guilty of rape by a jury of seven men and four women after just two hours of deliberation, The Irish Times reports.

Italian Government Numbers Show 42% of Rapes Are Carried Out by Migrants
New figures released by Italy’s Interior Ministry have revealed that 42 per cent of rapes in the country are carried out by migrants.
The numbers show that Italian women are more likely to be victims of sexual harassment or so-called “minor sexual assaults” than foreign women are, but that migrant women are slightly more likely to experience major sex crimes like violent rape.
The numbers are similar in many other European countries that have accepted large numbers of migrants from North Africa and the Middle East.
Figures released last year found that 58 per cent of convicted rapists and 85 per cent of all convicted assault rapists in Sweden were born outside of Europe.
In cases where the victim did not know the attacker, the proportion of foreign offenders was more than 80 per cent. Nearly 40 per cent of the convicted rapists are from the Middle East or from Africa.
A study by the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet found that 88 per cent of gang rapists in the Scandinavian country over the last six years have had a migrant background.

What in the world has happened to us? Once upon a time, America was made up of tightly-knit communities that were united by family, faith and patriotism, but now we are more isolated than ever before. Of course one of the biggest reasons for this is the fact that we are all spending countless hours staring at screens instead of interacting with real people, and this is something that I covered in a previous article. However, our fundamental beliefs are also significantly shaping how we behave. For the past couple of generations, we have de-emphasized family, faith and patriotism as a nation, and instead we have become an extremely “me-centered” society that is primarily focused on doing whatever makes ourselves happy in the moment. But this single-minded pursuit of individual happiness has resulted in much of the country being perpetually mired in loneliness, depression and/or addiction.
When you look at the numbers, they truly are startling. For example, a recent survey that was conducted by Cigna found that almost half of all Americans feel lonely…

Elementary School Invites Convicted Felon Drag Queen to Talk to Children
An elementary school in Austin, Texas invited a convicted felon drag queen to talk to children having either ignored or failed to carry out a full background check.
The Blackshear Fine Arts Academy invited Miss Kitty Litter ATX (real name David Robinson) to spend time with kids despite Robinson being a convicted prostitute.
Emails between the school’s librarian, Roger Grape, and Robinson suggest that Robinson knew he wouldn’t pass a background check and the school either ignored it or failed to carry one out.
A video posted to Twitter but subsequently removed shows Robinson promoting an “international drag festival” while holding a baby doll in a baking pan in an apparent reference to the baby being food.
Robinson’s visit occurred after Austin schools passed a radical new curriculum that encourages children to be taught about LGBT issues at an early age.

Gay Jesus Satire on Netflix Sparks Religious Outcry
A Christmas satire on Netflix depicting Jesus in a gay relationship has sparked a backlash in Brazil, where hundreds of thousands signed a petition calling for the film to be axed.
“The First Temptation of Christ” by Brazilian comedy group Porta dos Fundos began streaming on December 3, drawing criticism from conservative politicians, Evangelicals and Catholics.
The teaser for the 46-minute movie says Jesus, who is turning 30, brings a “surprise guest” to meet his family.

That’s a shame about Ireland. I wouldn’t wish rape on anyone. But on the other hand, the Irish people practically begged for this to happen. They’re actually proud of all this. When a group of ANY animals are that self-destructive, maybe it’s better to just stand back and let nature take its course. It’s sad to see, but saving them would only prolong their misery.
