[Watch] Joy and Whoopi Get Wrecked by Don Jr. Reminding Them of ‘Blackface’ And ‘Rape-Rape’

Don Trump Jr.’s appearance on “The View” today will not be soon forgotten. For those who don’t know, “The View” is a television show where five angry, far-left harpies gang up on their guests and scream at them for long periods of time. It’s very difficult to understand most of it because of how much they talk over one another, but sometimes magic happens. Don Jr. was invited on to talk about his book, Triggered, presumably, but they spent no time talking about that and instead started accusing him of committing a felony for repeating the name of the “whistleblower,” whose name was already known and published in the media. Watch them go crazy.

35 Reasons Why You Should Move Away From California

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if there was a “reboot” button for an entire state? Because the truth is that if an entire state ever needed to completely start over it is the state of California. At this point it has become the epicenter for just about everything that is wrong with America, and each year it just keeps coming up with new ways to become an even worse cesspool of social decay and depravity. Millions of people have already left the state, and millions more are thinking of leaving. One recent survey found that 47 percent of all Californians are thinking about moving out of the state in the next five years, and a different survey discovered that 53 percent of those currently living in the state would like to leave. If about half the people in your state are seriously considering leaving, it is safe to say that things have gone horribly wrong. But instead of changing course, those running California continue taking the state down a very self-destructive path.

It is such a shame, because California should be one of the greatest places in the world to live. The weather is wonderful most of the year, the state still possesses extraordinary natural beauty, and the tech industry provides plenty of high paying jobs.

When I was growing up, millions of young Americans dreamed of moving there and living “the California dream” , and when I was a young man I seriously explored the possibility of moving there myself.

And the truth is that a lot of great things have come out of the state. The following comes from a recent article by Ann Coulter…

An Anti-Free Speech Conference in Greensboro

Scholars gathered October 24 and 25 at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro to discuss free speech—and focused on its alleged pernicious effects. The takeaway was that the problem is not enough free speech in public, but too much free speech in public.

The conference, “Finding Expression in Contested Public Spaces,” featured a keynote address and seven panels of scholars who presented their research and gave their thoughts on free speech.

Keynote speaker Eric King Watts, an associate professor at UNC-Chapel Hill, opened the event with a speech entitled, “Tribalism, Voicelessness, and the Problem of Free Speech.”

“There is very little good news in my talk,” Watts said.

In his speech, Watts outlined problems that stem from free speech. He began by addressing the historical context of free speech as an idea within a culture.

“In particular, freedom of speech is conceptualized and found in documents as a universal human capacity and right requiring legislative and judicial protections, but this late-18th-century idealism obscures the manner in which freedom of speech is always already implicated in racism,” Watts said. He identified the idea of race as a biotrope (a living, constantly developing piece of language that’s represented by different words), and free speech as instrumental in the social construction of race.

“The very idea of freedom, postulated in universalist terms in the 19th century, and serving as the ontological structure for the First Amendment, doesn’t allow the black,” Watts said. “This exclusion is not legal, nor paralegal; it is brokered by the psychic structure and pseudoscience responding to the biopower imperatives of racism.”

Bill Gates Says it Was a “Mistake” To Meet With Epstein 5 Years After He Was Convicted as a Sex Offender

Bill Gates says it was a “mistake” to meet with Jeffrey Epstein 5 years after the sex trafficker was convicted of soliciting a minor.

Gates met with Epstein numerous times, including in 2013 while Gates was the chairman of Microsoft and years after Epstein had served almost 13 months in prison for procuring for prostitution a girl below age 18.

Following these meetings, Epstein worked with Gates to funnel $2 million dollars to MIT for unspecified projects, donations that the research lab later tried to cover up.

CBS Fires Former ABC Staffer Who Blew Whistle on Network Spiking Epstein Accuser Interview: Report

CBS News has reportedly fired an employee after ABC News informed the rival network that the person who leaked hot mic footage of Amy Robach venting about her spiked Jeffrey Epstein story was now working on its staff.

Reporter Yashar Ali cited “two sources with knowledge of the situation” who claimed ABC News honchos “believe they know the identity” of a former employee with access to the viral footage.

Earlier this week, the controversial Project Veritas published the damning video in which ABC News anchor Robach complained that the Disney-owned network killed a story that would have exposed the now-deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein three years ago.

Climate Activists: Cancel Thanksgiving to Save the Planet

The annual liberal dissertations on how to talk to conservative family members at Thanksgiving were obnoxious but this new lefty idea is a real turkey.

HuffPost recommends forgoing Thanksgiving altogether to save the planet from global warming. Because traveling to gather with family and friends to offer thanks is selfish.

Author Alexandra Emanuelli began her article on Nov. 5 with a reminder that Trump is pulling out of Paris climate agreement and the surely non-political Climate Action Tracker rates America’s efforts as “insufficient.”

This leads Emanuelli to write, “With that in mind, one wonders: How much damage are we doing with our epic Thanksgiving meal every year?”

“He is an oil President. Leaked Documents Show Facebook Leveraged User Data to Fight Rivals and Help Friends

A cache of leaked Facebook documents shows how the company’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, oversaw plans to consolidate the social network’s power and control competitors by treating its users’ data as a bargaining chip. The documents were obtained and are being published by NBC News.

This trove comprises approximately 7,000 pages in total, of which about 4,000 are internal Facebook communications such as emails, web chats, notes, presentations and spreadsheets, primarily from 2011 to 2015. About 1,200 pages are marked as “highly confidential.”

Taken together, they show how Zuckerberg, along with his board and management team, found ways to tap Facebook users’ data — including information about friends, relationships and photos — as leverage over the companies it partnered with. In some cases, Facebook would reward partners by giving them preferential access to certain types of user data while denying the same access to rival companies.

TESS Spacecraft is Finding Hundreds of Exoplanets

Within just 50 light-years from Earth, there are about 1,560 stars, likely orbited by several thousand planets. About a thousand of these extrasolar planets — known as exoplanets — may be rocky and have a composition similar to Earth’s. Some may even harbor life. Over 99% of these alien worlds remain undiscovered — but this is about to change.

With NASA’s new exoplanet-hunter space telescope TESS, the all-sky search is on for possibly habitable planets close to our solar system. TESS — orbiting Earth every 13.7 days — and ground-based telescopes are poised to find hundreds of planets over the next few years. This could transform astronomers’ understanding of alien worlds around us and provide targets to scan with next-generation telescopes for signatures of life. In just over a year, TESS has identified more than 1,200 planetary candidates, 29 of which astronomers have already confirmed as planets. Given TESS’s unique ability to simultaneously search tens of thousands of stars for planets, the mission is expected to yield over 10,000 new worlds.

An Atlantic Eco-Cruise? All Aboard the ‘Emission Impossible’ Straw Ship

Italy: A. Mittal ‘Knew About End of Shield’ — Patuanelli

Conte says group could be nationalised

(ANSA) — Rome, November 7 — ArcelorMittal knew that a penal shield protecting an environmental cleanup at the highly polluting former ILVA steelworks at Taranto was due to run out when it agreed to take over the ILVA group in March, Industry Minister Stefano Patuanelli told the House Thursday — while Premier Giuseppe Conte said nationalisation was a possible solution.

The Franco-Indian group now wants to get out of the former ILVA deal citing the lifting of the shield, but also wants to cut almost half of its 10,777 workers, or 5,000, a condition the government has said is unacceptable.

The government has given ArcelorMittal two days to respond to its offer of restoring the shield and its request that the job cuts be drastically reduced.

Patuanelli also told the House that the previous government’s save-business decree, which eliminated the penal shield, did not lead to a change in the environmental plan, “a necessary element to motivate rescinding the contract”.

The minister added that “speaking of ILVA means speaking about our country’s industrial strategy.

“Thinking about a closure of the (former) ILVA plant has an immediate social impact, but also has an immediate impact on all the Italian sectors linked to steel, and not having ILVA means not having a serious industrial plan for the country”.

The Taranto steelworks is the largest in Italy and one of the largest in Europe, employing over 8,000 workers.

The group has another 3,000 workers at two smaller plants in Genoa and nearby Novi Ligure.

“ArcelorMittal does not know how to manage its own industrial plan,” added Patuanelli.

“I ask for an act of responsibility from all the political forces, also in opposition, also from the trade unions and the social partners,” he said.

“We will resolve this situation if we respond as ‘country system’. “It is the country that must respond”.

Patuanelli added that ArcelorMittal was “not budging on the 5,000 redundancies”.

The minister also said that the group “cannot leave Italy promissory notes” and that “ILVA is a question of national sovereignty”.

Premier Giuseppe Conte said Thursday “those who come to Italy must respect the rules” and said that the government was united about reviving the penal shield, despite reports that the 5-Star Movement (M5S) was against this.

He said the case could lead to the “legal battle of the century”.

Asked if the former ILVA group could be nationalised, he said “we are weighing all options”.

Former industry minister Luigi Di Maio, the 5-Star Movement (M5S) leader, said “they begged me to give them the plant telling me they would reach eight million tonnes. Then they discovered they couldn’t even reach four million”.” He said he had “improved” a previous deal and “forced (ArcelorMittal) to high all 10,500 and not only 8,000 as they wanted to do at the start”.

NPR Invents Fake Italian Wine Crisis Caused by Climate Change

There they go again. National Public Radio published an article on its website claiming global warming is wreaking havoc on Italian wine production and forcing producers to seek new ways to protect their grapes.

Yet the objective data show wine production in Italy, the rest of Europe, and the rest of the world are all doing quite fine.

As CFACT documented last month, global wine production set a new record last year. Italy was no exception, as Italian wine production also set a new record in 2018.

Italian wine production is down some in 2019, but wine analysts attribute the 2019 decline to wine producers deliberately growing fewer grapes this year because they had so much holdover wine from 2018.

UK Village Known as ‘Little White Town’ May be Forced to Change Its Name Over ‘Racism’ Complaints

A village in the UK known as ‘The Little White Town’ because of its many whitewashed buildings may be forced to change its tagline over concerns the name is racist.

Bideford, a historic port town in north Devon, south-west England, has a population of just over 17,000 according to the last census.

Signs for the town describe it as ‘Little White Town’, a moniker that has been in existence for the best part of 150 years.

As Jack Hadfield writes, “The phrase was first coined by the author Charles Kingsley, when he wrote about Bideford in his 1855 novel, “Westward Ho!” after seeing the many white properties that dot the local landscape. Many of the houses were ordered to be limewashed to prevent the spread of cholera at the time.”

UK: Brexit Party MEP: EU Has Hate Speech ‘Obsession’, is ‘Leading the Way on Censoring What We Say/Read’

Former Labour MP Ian Austin has told “decent, patriotic” Labour supporters to vote for Boris Johnson to stop Jeremy Corbyn from becoming prime minister. He called the socialist unpatriotic and “unfit” to lead the country, and condemned him for allowing antisemitism to take hold in the party.

Mr Austin resigned from Labour in February — continuing to represent his Dudley North seat as an independent — in response to Mr Corbyn allowing a “culture” of antisemitism to flourish in the party.

Do Not Support China’s Huawei, Cripple it Instead

“A prominent Republican who advises President Donald Trump called America’s 5G strategy ‘the biggest strategic disaster in U.S. history,’“ wrote China-watcher David Goldman recently.

Many people will regard that as an exaggeration, but America’s failure to have a 5G strategy will almost certainly prove to have historic consequences.

“5G” is shorthand for the fifth generation of wireless communication.

“In the very near future, dominating the wireless world will be tantamount to dominating the world,” wrote Newt Gingrich in Newsweek in February. That is not an exaggeration.

Why not? With speeds 2,000 times faster than existing 4G networks, 5G will permit near-universal connectivity to homes, vehicles, machines, robots, and everything plugged into the Internet of Things (IoT).

Moreover, with just about everything connected to everything else China will filch the world’s information. That is not a theoretical concern. For instance, nightly from 2012 to 2017, China surreptitiously downloaded data from the Chinese-built-and-donated headquarters of the African Union in Addis Ababa.

Australia Wants to Jail Men for Rape if They Ever Lie to Women

Lying to a partner to convince them to have sex could soon be illegal under proposed laws. Women lie to men all the time, perhaps 100 times more often then men lie but this is not going to target women.

This utopian law is going to target men and it will only have some collateral women victims here and there.

Why? Its simple, its a known fact that men seek sex most of the time while women are passive and most will just say “yeah I lied to him I was this and that but it wasn’t for sex, you know us women don’t actively seek sex.”

So the New South Wales Law Reform Commission recommended that if a physical relationship eventuated after a person was dishonest about themselves, sexual assault (rape) charges should apply.

The proposal contains a clause in regards to liars and people who ‘fraudulently induce’ others into sexual activity.

Columbia Professor Who Fled Communism Resigns, Says University is Becoming Communist

Pressured to admit transgender student

A Romania-born academic says he recently left his tenured position at Columbia University because the Ivy League school is “on its way toward full blown communism,” according to a Romanian TV interview translated by a Romanian-American immigrant.

Prof. Andrei Serban, an award-winning director, complained about the increasing social justice demands he faced in the theater department in the interview, which aired on Romania’s TVR1 Oct. 26. One prominent example he gave: pressure to admit a transgender applicant who auditioned as Juliet from “Romeo and Juliet.”

Andy Ionescu, a native Romianian speaker who immigrated to the United States in 1999, told The College Fix in a Twitter message that he translated the interview.

He said it was likely the first time that Serban made his resignation publicly known. Columbia still lists Serban as an active professor. Media relations did not respond to an email from The Fix, and Serban’s department did not return a voicemail. Serban did not respond to an email.

The TV host expresses incredulity at multiple points in the interview, seemingly shocked that the American higher education system is headed toward communism. Serban fled from the ideology, which ruled Romania for much of the 20th century.

Serban says in the interview that after a faculty member retired, the remaining professors in the department were called in to a meeting to discuss a replacement.

It was at this meeting that the dean of the art school told them that there were “too many white professors, too many heterosexual men,” and that it would be best to hire a minority or a woman, or a gay man.

Serban, who was the director of the hiring committee, says that he was told that it could not be someone like him because he is a man that has been “married, a heterosexual man who has children.”

The professor says that he then asked if they could choose a straight white male if the most qualified candidate happened to be so, and was promptly told that they could not. “I felt like I was living under communism again,” he said…

80% of abandoned children in the Moscow region are Asians

The press center of the National News Service news agency hosts a press conference on the theme: “The epidemic of cuckoo mothers: Baby boxes will save lives of abandoned children?”

Oksana Pushkina, deputy chairman of the State Duma committee on family, women and children, co-chair of the regional headquarters of the All-Russian Popular Front in the Moscow Region, spoke about the need to support the activities of baby boxes.

“Women get rid of children only because for various reasons they cannot tell their family about it. These are dramatic moments. These are difficult destinies. It’s not customary to throw children out on the street. It is a crime. We say – let’s open the fire exit, we won’t boil it down, since we opened the door for migrants here. In the case of the Lyubertsy baby box, 80% of children are Asians, ”she said.
