Sweden’s Central Bank Governor Lays Out Digital Currency Vision

by Steven Guinness

Before a technological concept is introduced to the wider public, it is common for it to first undergo beta testing to iron out any deficiencies that may not be immediately obvious to the developers. An example of this in the UK is the latest instalment of the Football Manager franchise. Every year the maker Sports Interactive issues a beta version which players painstakingly test prior to the official release of the game. After feedback is analysed and acted upon, the aim then is for a smooth launch of the finished product.

Whilst on a much grander scale, beta testing will serve as an equally important aspect in how central banks plan to successfully implement their own variants of digital currency.

In one of my recent articles I discussed an appearance by Federal Reserve board member Lael Brainard at an event held in Washington D.C. called, ‘The Future of Money in the Digital Age’. Present also at this event was the Governor of Sweden’s central bank (the Sveriges Riksbank) Stefan Ingves. During a panel discussion, Ingves laid out a six step criteria for the introduction of central bank digital currency. Before expanding on Sweden’s specific role pertaining to CBDC’s, here is a summary of the six steps in question:…

After Report of Racist Incident, Syracuse Suspends All Fraternities — Even Minority Ones

SYRACUSE, N.Y., Nov. 22, 2019 — Days after an alleged racist incident caused Syracuse University to pull the plug on all fraternity activities — even those of minority fraternities — the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education is calling on the university to stop punishing students it doesn’t even suspect to have done anything wrong. The incident is one of many to rock the campus in recent weeks, prompting increased scrutiny from the public and political leaders, and causing the university to scramble to take action.

AOC is Still Blocking Her Critics on Twitter

It appears that rookie congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) is still blocking multiple conservative Twitter users, even after she settled a lawsuit to unblock prominent Jewish activist Dov Hikind.

The list includes three conservative journalists who are critical of her policies, Liz Wheeler of One America News Network, Ryan Saavedra of The Daily Wire, and Harry Cherry formerly of The Jewish Voice. Additionally, Niraj Antani, a Republican state representative in Ohio is blocked by AOC. All of these users have their accounts verified by Twitter.

Covington Catholic Student Nick Sandmann Gets Good News in Lawsuit Against Nbcuniversal

A federal judge in Kentucky ruled on Thursday that a $275 million lawsuit from Covington Catholic student Nicholas Sandmann against NBCUniversal can proceed in court, the third lawsuit from Sandmann that the judge has allowed to proceed.

U.S. District Court Judge William Bertelsman dismissed parts of the lawsuit while allowing discovery on allegations that the network’s coverage defamed the teen by reporting that he ‘blocked’ Native American elder Nathan Phillips in a Jan. 18 encounter at the Lincoln Memorial,” The Washington Times reported.

Election Fraud on a National Scale?

By Eric Georgatos

Dallas patriots Kevin Freeman, host of the Economic War Room on BlazeTV and Russ Ramsland, a voter fraud and election expert, have released detailed findings from a cyber/forensic investigation into election fraud utilizing compromised voting machines in 2018 (and quite probably, in the governor’s race in 2019 in Kentucky).

In summary terms, Freeman’s “Episode #70” reveals that (1) security protections in voting machines were disabled, (2) penetration and manipulation of actual vote tabulations was and is possible, and (3) evidence already exists that votes were surreptitiously, electronically manipulated to change election results.

This is the 21st century version of Stalin’s ruthless observation, “it’s not the people who vote that count, it’s the people who count the votes.” Only today’s Stalins can do it all by online penetration of unsecure ‘voting machines’ to count and alter votes, and leave almost no IT fingerprints.

Freeman’s “Episode #70” is currently behind a paywall (though available via 30-day free trial).

The implications of what has been exposed are absolutely staggering on both hindsight perspective on the meaning of past election results, and on the future of America as a constitutional republic. Yes, it is that serious.

Hill was responding to a question by Democratic Representative for Illinois Raja Krishnamoorthi, who quoted Hill’s earlier deposition in which she complained about Roger Stone labeling her “the globalist leftist [George] Soros insider.”

Florida Man Friday Saves the First Amendment

Life was hard in the American West of old. Water could be scarce, infrastructure was non-existant, the natives were sometimes deadly, and the law could be hours or even days away. But hard times breed hard people, and the people who settled the West tamed the West. What was once a wild frontier soon grew into America’s economic engine of resource production and technological innovation.

Life can be hard in modern Florida, too. Think of the sweltering heat, streets built on top of sinkhole sands, Yankee immigrants who think they can wrestle alligators, and foreign tourists determined to cut in front of you in line at Hollywood Studios. And yet, Florida Man not only survives, but thrives. Could it be that Florida Man will stand at the forefront of the next great American Renaissance?

Let’s dig into the headlines and find out, on another exciting…

Former CIA Officer Sentenced to 19 Years for Conspiring With Chinese Spies

A former CIA case officer was sentenced Friday to 19 years in prison for conspiring to provide American intelligence secrets to the Chinese government, in an espionage case that some current and former officials say dealt a devastating blow to U.S. intelligence operations.

Jerry Chun Shing Lee, 55, served 13 years as a Central Intelligence Agency case officer in several locations overseas, including China, where prosecutors said he had firsthand knowledge of some of the agency’s most sensitive secrets, including the names of covert CIA officers and clandestine human sources in China.

He’s Back! Al Gore Returns With Another Odious Climate-Change Telethon

Former Vice President Al Gore is back in the spotlight (sort of) and looking to capitalize on the sudden hotness of climate change with a 24-hour telethon broadcasting from Vanderbilt University called “24 Hours of Reality,” and a series of appearances on late-night television.

The original climate change activist Gore has, lately, been overshadowed by more extreme environmentalists, including adolescent “climate strike” founder Greta Thunberg and “Green New Deal” author Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) who, unlike Gore, are more interested in encouraging socialism (and, subsequently, crushing industrialization and technological advancement) as a vehicle for curbing carbon emissions.

He’s also run afoul of Thunberg and her followers — at least implicitly — for encouraging a system of climate indulgences, called “climate credits,” to offset egregious consumption rather than cutting that consumption entirely.

Gore’s landmark speech, kicking off 24 hours of activism “across the globe” had a “massive” audience of about a thousand people, according to local news in Nashville.

Maoist Communists and Socialists Increase Their Influence on Philadelphia City Council

The City Hall building with the statue of William Penn on top is seen in the city center of Philadelphia on December 3, 2017. Philadelphia is the largest city in Pennsylvania and the sixth-most populous city in the United States, with an estimated population of 1,567,872 and more than 6 million in metropolitan area, as of 2016. Philadelphia is the economic and cultural anchor of the Delaware Valley region, located along the lower Delaware and Schuylkill Rivers. / AFP PHOTO / Eric BARADAT (Photo credit should read ERIC BARADAT/AFP via Getty Images) Radical Maoists from Liberation Road and their small “c” communist allies from Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) elected one of their own to Philadelphia City Council on Nov. 5.

Kendra Brooks, who won a city council at-large seat, will join fellow radical Helen Gym on the 17-member body.

Heavily Democratic Philadelphia follows an unusual system for electing city councilors. Ten councilors are elected by district, while seven are elected “at-large” from the whole city voting base. Two of those seats are traditionally reserved for “minor parties,” which has for decades guaranteed two Republican seats on the council. Brooks took one of these minority seats, cutting Republican representation down to one.

Brooks ran on the Working Families Party ticket. The party, which has recently expanded from its New York base to several new states, spent more than $400,000 on Brooks and her running mate Nicolas O’Rourke, and knocked on 150,000 doors and sent 300,000 text messages.

More Lies: Fiona Hill Who Worked for Soros and is Linked to Chris Steele and Joseph Mifsud Insists She’s “Non-Partisan” (Video)

Adam Schiff’s closing witness Thursday in the Democrat impeachment show trials was Fiona Hill.

During her opening statement Fiona Hill insisted she was non-partisan.

Fiona Hill: “I take great pride in the fact that I am a nonpartisan foreign policy expert, who has served under three different Republican and Democratic presidents.” — The Hill (@thehill) November 21, 2019

As reported earlier by Joe Hoft— As we previously mentioned Roger Stone outed Fiona Hill in 2017 as a Deep State spy in the White House under then NSA Advisor General H. R. McMaster.

The George Soros connected traitor was outed by Israeli spies as was reported by Stone at InfoWars.

InfoWars reported on Hill and suggested she may be one of the current deep state anti-Trump “whistleblowers.”

The second White House whistleblower in the Democrats’ Ukraine witch hunt is none other than George Soros operative Fiona Hill, Infowars has learned.

Infowars was contacted by sources close to the president confirming our suspicions that Fiona Hill is definitely one of the so-called White House whistleblowers involved in the current Ukraine witch hunt against President Trump.

Infowars first reported that Hill worked as a mole for Soros when Trump confidante Roger Stone broke the bombshell in May 2017, revealing that Hill was serving as Soros’mole under the supervision of former NSA adviser H.R. McMaster.

The video below shows Trump confidante Roger Stone in July 2017 warning that he was told he would be “targeted for annihilation” by the FBI for exposing the mole.

Stone was raided by the FBI and arrested in January.

NY Times Writer Who Praised Hillary’s White Pantsuit Calls Tulsi Gabbard “Cult Leader” For Wearing Same Thing

A New York Times writer who praised Hillary Clinton for wearing a white pantsuit called Tulsi Gabbard a “cult leader” for wearing exactly the same thing.

However, when Gabbard, a fierce critic of Clinton, wore virtually the exact same outfit, Friedman said it made her look like a “cult leader” full of “combative righteousness” and that the white fabric has “connotations of the fringe, rather than the center” and even undermines “community building.”

Caroline Glick: The Reign of the Prosecutors

In Israel Thursday morning, the politicians were the big story. Israel Beitenu chairman Avigdor Liberman was the villain who had held the country hostage for nearly a year as he fed his narcissistic personality disorder.

The left’s latest flagship, the Blue and White party is all the once vibrant political camp can put together now that it has lost its ideology. With its god of peace killed by suicide bombers and missiles, and its socialism statues crushed under the weight of bankrupt government companies, all the left has left is Blue and White. The party stands on two planks — destroying Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and eternalizing the regime of Israel’s unelected bureaucrats.

The party’s figurehead — Benny Gantz — was tempted to join a unity government with Netanyahu that would guarantee he would serve as prime minister in a rotation agreement. But his comrades wouldn’t let him. Joining a government with Netanyahu would be a betrayal of their very reasons for existing. So, unhappily, he walked away.

And then there was Netanyahu himself. Thursday morning, his supporters shook their heads in frustration and his enemies clapped their hands in glee at the sight of Israel’s greatest stateman, the leader the public wants to keep in office, unable to form a government,

The conversation about Israel’s politicians lasted less than 24 hours.

At 4 in the afternoon, Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit’s office announced that at 7:30 in the evening he would announce he his decision to indict Netanyahu. The underlying message was crystal clear: The day after Benny Gantz returned his mandate to form a government to President Rueven Rivlin after he failed to get a sufficient number of coalition partners to build a government, Mandelblit said that there’s no point in talking about whether or not Israel is going to new elections in March.

Voters don’t decide anything. The lawyers do. Politicians are irrelevant. The only people who count in Israel today are the unelected attorneys who run the country…

In April 2018, Fenech was revealed to be the owner of 17 Black, one of two Dubai companies named in a leaked email that Nexia BT partner Karl Cini had sent Mossack Fonseca, requesting the Panamanian law firm to open bank accounts for Mizzi’s and Schembri’s companies with the Witherbotham bank in the Bahamas.

In the email, Cini stated that Schembri’s and Mizzi’s main target clients will be Dubai companies called 17 Black and Macbridge and that these two companies will transfer €150,000 a month to Mizzi’s and Schembri’s companies.

The Daphne Project, an international journalistic collaboration set up to complete Caruana Galizia’s work, revealed that 17 Black’s bank account at the Noor Bank in Dubai had received three payments — one single payment of €161,000 from Mario Pullicino, the local agent for the tanker supplying gas to the LNG power station, and two separate payments amounting to €1.1 million from an Azeri security guard. …

Earlier this year, Yorgen Fenech was named as a minority shareholder of Maltese gaming company, L & L Europe Limited, during an investigation into gaming companies operating illegally in Norway.

The Tumas Group’s website names one of the business group’s interests as the Tumas Fenech Foundation for Education in Journalism, a social corporate responsibility initiative which was set up to train Maltese journalists.

In a bitter turn of events, the Foundation last year sponsored the Institute of the Maltese Journalists’ Gold Award, its highest recognition for people working in journalism. The award winner just so happened to be Daphne Caruana Galizia…

Millions in Hong Kong Head to the Polls Amid Protests, In What Could be a ‘Barometer’ Of Public Sentiment

More than 4.13 million voters in Hong Kong will head to the polls on Sunday as the city holds its district council election. It will be the first governmental polls since the city’s social unrest began in June.

District councils are lower level government bodies looking after local matters — such as bus routes and recreation facilities. They have a four-year term, and one council is in charge of each of Hong Kong’s 18 districts.

With the ongoing anti-government protest that has dragged on for more than five months, political considerations may come across more important than local agendas when voters cast their ballot on Nov. 24.

Argentina Issues Arrest Warrant for Msgr Zanchetta

For sex abuse of 2 seminarians, bishop is in Vatican

(corrects spelling of name in slug) (ANSA) — Buenos Aires, November 21 — Prosecutors in the Argentinian city of salta on Thursday issued an international arrest warrant for Argentine Bishop Gustavo Zanchetta, who resides in the Vatican, on charges of simple and continued sexual abuse of two adult seminarians, aggravated by the fact that the alleged crime was committed by a clergyman.

Pope Francis has vowed that a crackdown on predator priests will be stiffened.

Prosecutor María Soledad Filtrín decided to issue the warrant for the former bishop of Orán, considered close to Pope Francis, after he did not respond to repeated phone calls and emails sent to him in order to communicate legal acts and after his decision to set up his domicile in the Vatican.

The bishop was recalled to the Vatican by Francis in 2017.

The pope authorised the opening of a canon law procedure against Zanchetta in may of this year.

Chick-fil-A is Now Funding Pro-LGBT Group

In 2014, Chick-fil-A decided to stop funding the Paul Anderson Youth Home because it was accused of being “anti-LGBT.” But it still had funding commitments with the Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, both of which are also falsely accused of being “anti-LGBT” because they have biblical policies on marriage and sex outside of marriage. Now that the funding commitment has expired, Chick-fil-A says it will no longer fund the Salvation Army and FCA, even though the Salvation Army fits within its giving priority of funding organizations that provide housing and food banks, and FCA provides education. Instead, Tassopoulos states Chick-fil-A will now fund Covenant House International, which is much smaller than the Salvation Army (in only 31 cities) and an LGBTQ activist.

Tassopoulos, speaking of funding Covenant House, states: “This provides more focus and more clarity.” At least he is correct, and this clarity reveals the betrayal.

The founder of Covenant House, a Catholic priest pedophile, was sued for allegedly sexually abusing the youth who were seeking shelter and food. Covenant House proudly promotes LGBTQ on its website, referring to “LGBTQ Inclusion Initiatives,” and even doing an “inclusion assessment” at every one of its facilities.

Covenant House also proudly supports the New York City Gay Pride parade with its own float, banners, t-shirts, and hastag #CovUnity. Covenant House is recognized as a national funder of LGBTQ causes.

Oxford Dictionaries’ Word of the Year: ‘Climate Emergency’

Oxford Dictionaries has declared the phrase “climate emergency” as its Word of the Year, after a 10,000 percent spike in usage.

Oxford defines “climate emergency” as “a situation in which urgent action is required to reduce or halt climate change and avoid potentially irreversible environmental damage resulting from it.”

In 2019, usage of the term skyrocketed to the top of public discourse. According to a statement published by their panel:

In 2018, climate did not feature in the top words typically used to modify emergency, instead the top types of emergencies people wrote about were health, hospital, and family emergencies…

But with climate emergency, we see something new, an extension of emergency to the global level.

  1. The Swedish Foreign Ministry said that Russians do not visit their country because of fear of migrants

Swedish Foreign Minister Anne Linde complained that Russian tourists did not want to visit the country. According to the politician, the reason for this is the negative image formed by local media.

“It happened, for example, that invited representatives of Russian civil society did not come to our meetings, fearing that it was not safe with us. It may seem ridiculous, but it’s true, ”the Swedish Foreign Ministry said.

Noting the role of the media, a ministry spokeswoman said that journalists cover only negative events in the country, and the authorities should work to block disinformation and show that the government and the police are doing everything possible to combat banditry, RIA Novosti reports citing Swedish MEDIA.
