California-Based Game Company Blizzard Bans Pro Esports Player and Confiscates His Prize Money After He Voices Support for Hong Kong Protesters

A professional esports player has been fined his prize money and given a yearlong ban after he voiced support for Hong Kong’s protesters during a postgame interview.

The Hong Kong-based player, known as Blitzchung, will be forced to forfeit his monetary prize and won’t be able to compete for a year for making the remarks, the US-based video game giant Blizzard announced Tuesday. The two casters — esports commentators — who appeared alongside Blitzchung in the interview will also “not work with Blizzard anymore,” according to the company.

The player, whose real name is Chung Ng Wai, was participating in the Hearthstone Grandmasters regular season, an esports tournament in which players play Hearthstone, the turn-based online card game developed by Blizzard.

Drexel University Professor Spends ‘Hundreds of Thousands’ of Dollars in Research Funds at Local Strip Clubs

Drexel University must pay the federal government nearly $190,000 to cover the strip club spending habits of a former professor, according to a settlement announced Monday.

Over a 10-year period, Chikaodinaka Nwankpa, the former head of Drexel University’s electrical engineering department, burned hundreds of thousands of dollars in federal funds meant for energy, science and naval research. The $190,000 settlement, which must be paid by the university, will help the school stave off a lawsuit by the federal government.

The Internet is Overrun With Images of Child Sexual Abuse. What Went Wrong?

Online predators create and share the illegal material, which is increasingly cloaked by technology. Tech companies, the government and the authorities are no match.

The images are horrific. Children, some just 3 or 4 years old, being sexually abused and in some cases tortured.

Pictures of child sexual abuse have long been produced and shared to satisfy twisted adult obsessions. But it has never been like this: Technology companies reported a record 45 million online photos and videos of the abuse last year.

More than a decade ago, when the reported number was less than a million, the proliferation of the explicit imagery had already reached a crisis point. Tech companies, law enforcement agencies and legislators in Washington responded, committing to new measures meant to rein in the scourge. Landmark legislation passed in 2008.

Yet the explosion in detected content kept growing — exponentially….

A Tale of Two Coups

There appears to be a curious symmetry connecting both the blocking of Brexit, and the continued attempts to bring down a free and fair American election. The same or different types of “deep state” involved on either side of the Atlantic is debatable, but the repeated attempts at a coup d’état against both the American President and the British Prime Minister have a lot in common, not least the desire to thwart the openly expressed wishes of the US and British electorates.

2016 was the year of the unexpected outcome — twice. Against all the odds — and against the wishes of the biased mainstream media — Britain voted to leave the European Union, and in the United States, Donald J. Trump became the 45th president of the United States. Both events took the “establishment” by surprise, if not horror. Both events have been the subject of continuous attempts to overturn those results by any means possible, no matter how odious or even undemocratic.

France: Paris Police Attacker Had Top Secret Security Clearance

Mickaël Harpon, who stabbed three police officers and a woman civil servant to death before he was killed at Paris police headquarters on October 3rd, was a radical Islamist with a top secret security clearance and access to all computers in the police prefecture’s directorate of intelligence, known as the DRPP.

The DRPP is responsible for the surveillance of suspected radical Islamists. Yet Harpon continued to work there, even as he showed signs of radicalisation. This mind-boggling fact has shaken President Emmanuel Macron’s administration. Interior minister Christophe Castaner admitted the state “dysfunctioned” but denied there was a “state scandal”.

Ecuador’s Government Flees Capital as Violent Protests Erupt in Wake of Fuel Price Hikes

Ecuador’s president is accusing his political rivals of trying to orchestrate a coup this week after violent protests tied to rising fuel prices forced his government to relocate away from the country’s capital.

Officials say about 350 people have been detained so far for blocking traffic, interrupting public services or attacking police following President Lenin Moreno’s decision to end government subsidies that have been keeping fuel prices down. Moreno says the subsidies have cost the government heavily in recent years and dropped them in a bid to stimulate Ecuador’s economy, but scenes coming out of Quito showed protesters throwing stones and marching through the streets in response.

Muslim Drag Queen in Vice Mag: Islam is ‘Inherently Queer’

Over the years many people have asked me why Leftists so love Islam as to turn a blind eye to the global jihad, despite the complete opposition of their moral perspectives. The short answer is that the enemy of my enemy is my friend: the Left, avid to destroy America, saw a group that has been trying to destroy the free world for 1,400 years and saw an ally. But that doesn’t mean that there aren’t any cracks in the edifice. In an attempt Thursday to shore up the Leftist/Islamic alliance, a self-described “Muslim drag queen” named Amrou Al-Kadhi, also known as “Glamrou,” has published an article in Vice magazine entitled “why islam is inherently queer” (yes, all lower case; are capital letters homophobic?). It’s a dogged exercise in ignoring the obvious.

  1. “Muslim Drag Queen in Vice Mag: Islam is ‘Inherently Queer’” HA! Where can I sign up to collect money for a plane ticket to Saudi Arabia? Let’s see how they agree to this drag queen’s claims about islam.

    • well, well: “inherently queer”. A complete population of unmarried people has no legit access to sexual exchanges in muslim countries. This leaves prostitution and substitutional forms of exchange the readers here can figure…. or not.

  2. “…The Greek government contends that countries…who continue to reject mandatory migrant relocation quotas, place an unfair burden on EU states like Greece, Italy, and Spain.” – The incredible crookedness of the globalists. It is exactly the opposite, countries like Greece, Italy and Spain, who “save” thousands of invaders daily and improt them into Europe, place unfair burden on the other EU states.

    • Greece and others should be fined for every freeloader they let into the EU. If Greece is happy to let these people into their country then they should be happy to look after them too.
I think a million euro fine per offence is reasonable given the costs these people rack up.

      • Yes, but then you have Germans, Dutch and other do-goodies from Northern Europe getting in boats and “rescuing” the poor “refugees”.

It was not Greece and Italy that invited the invaders, it was one Angela Merkel, German. Reelected by the Germans after that. Spain started inviting them when the socialists took power.

The solution is preventing them from entering. If not possible, send them all to Berlin.

  3. This whole “ER” will turn violent I fear. In area where I live, activists tried to stop people buying meat by blocking the aisles. This was some time ago. Diabetics need meat because it contains Vitamin B12. A chum died recently after being bullied into going “Vegan”. He was Type 1 diabetic. The Police are still investigating I hope after I reported the bullying twit that essentially bullied my pal to death. I have not forgotten nor will I forgive.

  4. The lack of B12 causes organ failure- his body literally shut down- a horrible way to die. It is bad enough being Type 2 like myself but I control it by being teetotal and strict diet. To force a Type 1 to go “Vegan” is in my humble opinion manslaughter. My mother was Type 1 and she suffered for years.

Poor woman. May God rest her soul.

Essentially the body fails to produce insulin from the pancreas and sugars build up in the body and the liver and kidneys cannot cope. She died young. I have no wish to do a rerun. These Leftwing veggies are fanatics and the real Fascists. May they burn in Hell! Selfish opinionated bullies and frankly “Sc**”.

The Left are the enemies of Humanity and Christ. I don’t care whether they are Marxist international or National Socialists- they destroy all they touch. If it were not for my priestly oaths I would gladly despatch these vampires to Hell by all and every means. Socialism is Satanic. And as for the “Pope”? What kind of Pope tries to destroy his own Faith and fuse it with Islam in vile Satanic concoction called “Chrislam”? Indeed he is the Devil’s Pope.

    • Great posts .I agree with you on every point.God bless your mother for raising a caring son .

  5. and in the pocket of the effigy was some climate change to be used as bus fare. giggle

  6. I read the article about Columbus.
Hmm … And Russian television propagandists continue to scare us with the American threat.

  7. Re: Columbus, etc. Not excusing the genocide of Native Americans et al, but they were once immigrants (like all humans not born in east Africa). My French Canadian sister-in-law’s family have been there for centuries; when do they get to be “natives”?

  8. The real question is where did the native North Americans come from. Their ancestors migrated and tribal violence was rampant. The people fleeing Europe to North America weren’t much different than the “natives” who came from somewhere else.
