Trump may say that he wants to return to the gold standard; but the USMCA “Trade Agreement” he signed doesn’t do that. As anyone who reads USMCA can see, the purpose of USMCA is to remove barriers to global regulation of all the areas covered by USMCA, and to advance development of a new global “money” system which will replace our collapsing Federal Reserve System.

When the Progressives took over our Country during the early 1900s, they needed lots of “money” to fund their unconstitutional regulatory and “welfare” schemes. But the federal government didn’t have enough gold and silver coins to fund the regulatory welfare state they wanted. So the Federal Reserve System was created in 1913 to set up a central bank — the “Fed” — which (thanks to fractional reserve banking) would have the power to supply the federal government with the “money” it wanted.
So it was access to this credit which enabled the federal government to exceed its constitutional limits.
With this easy credit, the federal government was enabled to “buy” the States by giving them fiat “money” to implement unconstitutional federal programs:

New York Times Kavanaugh Book Bombs, Just 3,120 Sold, Amazon Rank #6,795
The latest book on Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh, a critical biography from two New York Times reporters that made new sexual assault charges that were immediately undermined, has suffered an epic sales crash, according to publishing insiders.
Expected to sell at least 10,000-12,000 in the first two weeks and propel The Education of Brett Kavanaugh: An Investigation onto the newspaper’s bestseller hardcover list, it has sold about a third of that in the first two weeks.
A publishing source provided the latest BookScan numbers, which can account for about 80% of sales. That number is 3,120. “If you add in ebooks — they may have sold a total of 4,000. That’s one of the most epic bombs in political publishing over the past decade,” said the source.
By comparison, another Kavanaugh book, Justice on Trial: The Kavanaugh Confirmation and the Future of the Supreme Court, which details the Democratic war on the Trump nominee, has sold 60,000 books and a total of 100,000 copies since its July 9 debut. It was written by Mollie Hemingway and Carrie Severino and published by Regnery.

4 NYC Homeless Men Brutally Murdered in ‘American Psycho’-Style Killings
Four homeless men were found murdered in Lower Manhattan Saturday morning. Police said the men were attacked and beaten to death, likely while they slept. A fifth man was found badly wounded, but alive.
Police discovered the first two victims after responding to a report of an assault in progress on Bowery Street near Doyers Street in Chinatown shortly before 2 am on Saturday morning, CNN reports.
The attacker fled as police approached, but officers soon found two men, both with severe head trauma after being bludgeoned with a bat or a pipe. One was pronounced dead at the scene. Another was taken to New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital.
A search of the area turned up three more victims with similar head trauma, all pronounced dead at the scene. Two of the men were discovered in front of a store on East Broadway, another was found across the street.
Police then spotted the suspected assailant — he was reportedly carrying a three-foot-long, blood-covered metal poll that he had apparently stolen from a construction site. The 24-year-old man was taken into custody, but police haven’t released his name, though they did say they believe the suspect is also homeless.

Antifa Protester Who Attacked Trump Supporter Pleads Guilty to Assault
An “Antifa” street thug can now look forward to continuing his fight — from jail.
David Campbell, 32, copped a plea for his role in a 2018 beatdown outside the Night for Freedom party in Manhattan organized by right-wing activist Mike Cernovich.
Campbell pleaded guilty to two counts of felony assault and will be sentenced on Oct. 23 to 18 months in the slammer, reps for Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance Jr. told The Post.

Appeals Court Upholds $130,000 Judgment Against Pomona College for Railroading Accused Student
Lawyers for “John Doe” wanted Pomona College to pay at least $250,000 in attorney’s fees for repeatedly violating its own policies to find the accused student responsible for sexual assault.
They got about half that from Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mary Strobel, who said Pomona’s conduct was so egregious that she couldn’t “conclude that the factual scenario was unique and unlikely to recur.” (Pomona attempted to retry Doe with the same approach Strobel struck down.)
The private college appealed. The result? More money for Doe.

Suicide and Murder — Side Effects of Medication
Violence, including suicide and homicide, is a serious side effect of at least 25 different psychiatric drugs, some of which are now given to young children, toddlers and even babies
According to a 2017 study,1 1 in 6 Americans between the ages of 18 and 85 were on psychiatric drugs in 2013, most of them antidepressants. Of them, 84.3% reported long-term use, and having filled three or more prescriptions during the study year.
Despite such pervasive antidepressant use, we’ve not seen any improvement in depression rates. On the contrary, it just seems to be getting worse, and the highest rates of depression are now reported among 18— to 25-year-olds.2
Suicide rates are at an all-time high as well. Statistics reveal suicide rates rose 31% between 2001 and 2017.3 In 2017, nearly 47,000 Americans committed suicide, making it the 10th most common cause of death that year.
While antidepressants are routinely used as a first-line treatment for depression, evidence suggests they cause more problems than they solve. Several studies have shown their effectiveness is on par with placebo,4,5 and some of the worst side effects have long been ignored, or worse, hidden.
Among them is the risk of violent acts against oneself and others. Research shows the proportion of adults taking at least one drug where suicide is a potential side effect hit 23.5% as of 2013, up from 17.3% in 2005,6,7 and 38.4% of American adults were in 2014 on one or more medications that can cause depression as a side effect.

Laurent Sourisseau, more commonly known in France as Riss, tells the story of the terror attack in January 2015 that claimed the lives of 12 people, the majority his fellow Charlie Hebdo writers and cartoonists, France Inter reports.

France: Man Who Stabbed Four Police Officers to Death Was an Islamic Convert
The man who stabbed four police officers to death in Paris at police headquarters was a convert to Islamic who was furious for having been reprimanded by a female colleague, according to the new reports.
Michael Harpon, a 45-year-old IT worker, is said to have murdered his female supervisor, who had previously admonished him for refusing to deal with women, with a ceramic blade, before he went on to stab several other police in the building. Before he was shot, Harpon’s rampage left four dead and one critically injured.

France: Anti-Terror Cops Now Believe Paris Police HQ Murders Were an Islamic Terror Attack
The IT staffer at Paris’s police HQ and recent Islamic convert who stabbed four of his colleagues to death has been linked to radical Islamic terrorist organization.
Following Thursday’s bloody rampage which took place inside Paris Police HQ, 45-year-old Michael Harpon was shot dead by police who then raided his house and arrested his wife Iham, the Mail Online reports.
Upon searching Harpon’s home, police found evidence on his personal computer which links him to a radical Islamist group. Harpon’s wife Iham remains in police custody and is said to be cooperating with authorities.

Global Warming: Britain Braces for ‘Coldest Winter in 30 Years’
Researchers from University College London are forecasting an average temperature in the UK of just 3.9ºC (39ºF) for January to February in what is expected to be “the coldest weather in 30 years.”
Yahoo News reported Saturday that temperatures in Great Britain could reach as low as —14C with “snow event after snow event” expected to hit various parts of the territory.

Italy: 2 Police Shot Dead in Trieste
In shootout at central police station
(ANSA) — Trieste, October 4 — Two police officers were shot dead in a firefight with two alleged robbers, a pair of brothers, at Trieste’s central police station on Friday.
The men died of their wounds in hospital.
Both men were said to be around 30.
Three other police were injured in the shootout, along with one of the alleged robbers.
None of these four men are said to be a in a life-threatening condition.
The two brothers have been arrested, police said later.
The brothers had been taken to the station after a search for the robbers of a scooter early in the morning, police said.
One of the two stole an officer’s gun after being accompanied to the toilet, and fired at them.
Both brothers tried to flee.
President Sergio Matteralla voiced sadness at the “barbaric” shootings.
Interior Minister Luciana Lamorgese headed to Trieste.
The robbers, from the Dominican Republic, were named as Alejandro Augusto Stephan Meran, 29, affected by psychiatric issues, and Carlysle Stephan Meran, 32. The younger brother was the shooter, police said.
One of the two victims was named as Pierluigi Rotta, 34, the son of a policeman, from Pozzuoli near Naples.
The other was named as Matteo De Menego.

Italy: Bill to Give 16-Yr-Olds the Vote Coming Up — Di Maio
M5S will file constitutional bill in next few days
(ANSA) — Rome, October 1 — A bill to give 16-year-olds the vote is coming up, Foreign Minister and 5-Star Movement (M5S) chief Luigi Di Maio said Tuesday.
Italians currently qualify to vote for the House at 18 and the Senate at 25.
Di Maio said the M5S would present a constitutional bill to lower the age to 16 “in the next few days”.
Premier Giuseppe Conte and Di Maio said Monday that they were in favour of lowering the voting age to 16. “Lowering the voting threshold to 16 is fine by me,” said Conte.
“They already have it in other countries,” he said.
“We still haven’t started discussing it in the government but we could do: but it might be better to do it in parliament”.
Di Maio said via Facebook: “Giving the vote to 16-year-olds is a proposal that we have always been behind and which we support strongly”.
“In Italy young people are called choosy, spoilt, ‘Gretini’, (‘little Gretas’, referring to climate crisis activist Greta Thunberg).
“As far as we are concerned, these people should be respected, listened to and put at the centre of our political world. “If a 16-year-old can work and pay taxes, they should also have the right to vote and decide who makes decisions about their life”.

Italy: Tariffs Won’t Stop us Says Federalimentare
15% contraction in US export market
(ANSA) — Rome, October 3 — The head of Italian food group Federalimentare, Ivan Vacondio, said Thursday that new US tariffs of 25% on certain top exports like cheeses and spirits would not hurt its goal of exporting 50 billion euros in 2021.
“We remain optimistic and confident of reaching the objective of 50 billion euros in exports in 2021, provided that politicians play their part,” he said.
While not affecting exports as a whole, the tariffs will hit some top exports to the US, Vacondio said.
Last year alone Italy exported to the US 220 million euros’ worth of hard cheeses and 75 million in spirits.
Tariffs of 25% would mean a contraction on the US market of 15%, Vacondio said.
The government has vowed to help Italian exporters beat the new tariffs.

Italy: Don’t Mix Alitalia With Motorway Concessions — Conte
Atlantia threat to pull out unless concessions maintained
(ANSA) — Assisi, October 4 — Premier Giuseppe Conte said on Benneton holding company Atlantia’s reported threat to pull out of the Alitalia project unless the government promises not to strip it of its motorway concessions that the two issues should not be “mixed”.
“Alitalia is one issue, the motorway concessions are another,” he said.
“There should be no mixing”.
The government has said it will strip Atlantia of the motorway concessions because of its alleged failure to properly maintain Genoa’s Morandi Bridge which collapsed in August last year killing 43 people.
A consortium made up of rail group Ferrovie dello Stato (FS), Delta Airlines, motorway group Atlantia and the economy ministry was set to present a binding offer to take over ailing former flag carrier Alitalia.
Then Atlantia made a veiled threat to pull out citing the motorway issue.
The government issued a statement Thursday night saying it was “perplexed” by Atlantia’s new stance.

UK Police Arrest 10 Climate Activists Before Protests
LONDON (Reuters) — British police arrested 10 climate change activists in London ahead of a planned new round of protests by Extinction Rebellion on Monday, police said.
A Reuters photographer said he saw police using a battering ram to break down a door and enter a former court building that was used by Extinction Rebellion to store equipment.
A spokeswoman for London’s Metropolitan Police said seven women and three men had been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to cause public nuisance.

UK: ‘B*llocks to Brexit’ MP Fears Boris Calling State of Emergency to Deliver No Deal Brexit
Former Liberal Democrats leader Vince Cable has claimed Prime Minister Boris Johnson could declare a state of emergency to deliver a clean-break Brexit on October 31st.
The Benn Act prevents the prime minister taking the United Kingdom out of the EU without a deal unless he has the consent of Parliament. The law also forces Mr Johnson to ask Brussels for another Brexit delay if he is unable to pass an EU-approved exit treaty in the House of Commons by October 19th.
However, Mr Cable told POLITICO on Thursday: “My worry at the moment is that the government might try to fabricate an emergency situation as a pretext for pushing through changes around a no-deal Brexit that they otherwise cannot secure in parliament.”

British police are standing by an off-duty officer who was filmed subduing a man suspected of theft, making threats, and carrying a knife on a crowded London Underground train by headbutting him to the floor.
The viral video footage shows a highly agitated man with a foreign accent loudly remonstrating with a tall white male — later revealed to be an off-duty police officer — thrusting his head towards him aggressively and appearing to jostle with him.

Apple Reverses Ban on HKmap.Live App Tracking Hong Kong Protests & Police
A bit of good news for pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong, and the app developers trying to help them not get injured or killed by police.
Apple has reportedly reversed its decision to ban the app HKmap.live, which allows users to track protests and police activity in Hong Kong. The earlier move to ban the app was seen by many as acquiescence to China’s foreign policy, over the urgent needs of Apple users.

Major shopping malls across Hong Kong were closed and the city’s entire rail network remained shut down for the first time in its 40-year history on Saturday, but many residents felt the blame lay with the government rather than the protesters who had gone on a violent rampage the night before.
“I’ve never seen the whole network shut down in my life,” Serena Yang, 40, a North Point resident, said. “This does not make sense. It is not fair to citizens as the MTR makes a lot of money every year.”

Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Hong Kong on Saturday in the second straight day of defiance against a newly imposed anti-mask law, while dozens of radicals vandalised shops in the border town of Sheung Shui.
The new law came into force at midnight on Friday and, in a first, officers at Mong Kok Police Station, a regular flashpoint during protests, warned a crowd of about 100 gathered outside late on Saturday to remove any face coverings immediately or they could face criminal charges.

Two Italian police officers have been shot dead at police headquarters in Trieste after a detained robbery suspect managed to steal one of their firearms and opened fire on Friday afternoon.

Just under 90 per cent of the asylum seekers who came to Sweden at the height of the migrant crisis and have gained permanent residency are unemployed.

Hillary Clinton talked about her decision to stay in her marriage with Bill Clinton when he was president, saying it was not easy and comparable to a family having to deal with a girl telling their parents she is really a boy.
