Bi*ch Please: Democrat’s Bill Would Punish Curse Word With Jail
A new bill brought by a Massachusetts state legislator would make it a crime to maliciously call someone a “bitch” within the commonwealth, the Free Beacon reports.

Elizabeth Warren Joins Striking Chicago Teachers on Picket Line: ‘The Unions Are How We Have Power’
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) took her 2020 campaign for the Democrat presidential nomination to Chicago on Tuesday, where she joined striking members of the Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) on the picket lines.
Warren said in a speech delivered to a crowd of teachers gathered on the picket lines in West Chicago:
I’m here to stand for America’s public schools. I’m here to stand with Chicago’s teachers. I’m here to stand with Chicago nurses. I’m here to stand with Chicago’s librarians. I’m here to stand with Chicago’s bus drivers. I’m here to stand with the low wage workers in the Chicago schools.
I also am here to stand with our unions. To stand with SEIU, to stand with CTU, and here’s why—because the unions are how we have a voice. The unions are how we have power.

Facebook CEO Tries to Explain Digital Currencies to Maxine Waters & Her Committee
Update 2: Mark Zuckerberg’s latest turn before Congress slowed slightly after a lengthy lunch break, but the legislators who served as Zuck’s interlocutors’ turned on the aggression, and grilled him about Facebook’s advertising business — specifically its business for political ads.
In one particularly notable performance, AOC tried to suss out the subtleties of FB’s new policy for “fact checking” political ads. The questions made Zuck look befuddled, as he admitted that the company does have standards for removing political ads if they go way too far (though Zuck said he woulld have to check wth his team).

Gabbard: Clinton’s Foreign Policy ‘Proven to be Incredibly Destructive’
WASHINGTON — Democratic presidential candidate Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) said Hillary Clinton’s foreign policy has “proven to be incredibly destructive” and it runs contrary to the policy she’s been advocating for on the campaign trail.
Clinton recently said Russia was “grooming” Gabbard for a third party run.
Gabbard was asked on Tuesday at the Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit for her reaction to Clinton’s comments.
“It’s outrageous. It’s outrageous,” she replied. “Hillary Clinton throughout her career has espoused, advocated, and championed a very interventionist foreign policy, pushing for regime-change wars, toppling dictators in other countries, being the world’s police, using draconian sanctions to accomplish these things, and they have proven to be incredibly destructive. Here’s the big difference: I’m calling for an end to being the world’s police.”

Google Confirms Achieving Quantum Supremacy
This morning, Google scientists confirmed in a blog post that their quantum computer had needed just 200 seconds to solve a problem that they claim would take the world’s fastest supercomputer 10,000 years to complete.
The team first ran the algorithm last spring using a 54-qubit processor called “Sycamore.” While the achievement is called quantum supremacy, it doesn’t mean that quantum computers are suddenly more capable than classical computers, since Google’s quantum computer only beat the competition at a single, highly contrived problem. Quantum computers with day-to-day applications may still be decades away, but this is an important scientific milestone when comparing quantum computers to their classical counterpart.

NYT Edits Story to Hide Hillary’s Accusation Russia is Grooming Tulsi Gabbard
The New York Times stealth edited a story to hide Hillary Clinton’s claim that Tulsi Gabbard was being groomed by Russia, instead making it appear as though Clinton had said Republicans were grooming Gabbard.

Prof Admits Defrauding Taxpayers Out of $1.3 Million
Purdue University mechanical engineering technology professor and director of Purdue’s Center for Materials Processing Research Qingyou Han pleaded guilty to a felony wire fraud scheme involving the laundering of $1.3 million in federal grant money for the purpose of buying a house and funding other personal expenses.
Along with his wife, Lu Shao, Han admitted to several instances of using a private company owned by Shao called Hans Tech as a front to funnel National Science Foundation (NSF) grant money back into the family for personal expenses. The private company, Hans Tech, was created solely as a front to perpetuate an elaborate scheme in which Han used his wife’s name to write and submit grants proposals to the NSF, according to the Department of Justice. Some of these proposals involved the hiring of Han as a research subcontractor.
The NSF also paid two Hans Tech employees for research purposes. These employees turned out to be the couple’s minor children.

The Top U.S. States in Gun Sales
Due to a patchwork of state and federal laws, it has always been difficult to put a precise number on U.S. gun sales. But, as Statista’s Niall McCarthy notes, a new analysis entitled “Gun Country” from website security.org used information contained in the FBI’s National Instant Criminal Background Check System and an industry-accepted formula to estimate the number of gun sales in a given year.
The research found that 972,860 guns were sold in Texas in 2018, making it the state with the highest total.
When it comes to sales per 1,000 inhabitants, however, things look different with Texas only coming 34th with 46.5 guns sold.

1956 Hungarian Revolution: Why Central Europe Seems to Care More About Freedom Than the West
On this day in 1956, the Hungarian people rose up against their Soviet occupiers, an important chapter in the history of a country which jealously guards its freedom, and remains at odds with a European Union which continues to push for integration and conformity.

The Price Tag of London’s ‘Extinction’ Climate Protest
The so-called “Extinction Rebellion” protests — about which NR’s John Fund has written a first-person account — are international demonstrations organized by environmentalists hoping to secure radical changes in climate policy.
London has been particularly hobbled by the protests: Activists in the English city have climbed atop trains, blocked traffic, and glued themselves to buildings, bringing the city to a standstill as police remove protesters who block the organs of public transit. Commuters, many late to their jobs on account of the protesters, were furious with the delays, as Fund reported, occasionally seeking to displace the protesters themselves without consulting law enforcement. Vigilante justice, sure, but justice nevertheless.

UK Police Launch Murder Probe After Finding 39 Bodies Inside Truck

A ‘Sly’ Species of Leaf-Tailed Gecko Uncovered From Madagascar
Until they looked into the mouth of a leaf-tailed gecko collected in Madagascar last year, scientists couldn’t be sure they were looking at a new species of lizard. The specimen looked remarkably similar to a known species, Uroplatus ebenaui, known as the spearpoint leaf-tailed gecko and found only in Madagascar.
Indeed, when the first specimen was collected in 2004, it was believed to be of an U. ebenaui. At first glance, apart from a slightly longer tail and smoother skin on its back, there was little to distinguish it from the spearpoint leaf-tailed gecko. The first clue to its distinctiveness came from its genetic differentiation from U. ebenaui. “We then had to find more animals to make sure that these genetic results were not an anomaly,” said Mark D. Scherz, a herpetologist at the Bavarian State Collection of Zoology in Munich.

Argentina Designates Hezbollah a Terror Group
The registry will function under the Ministry of Justice, but the Ministry of Security and our Financial Intelligence Unit or UIF-AR will have the power to designate terror groups by requesting to freeze the assets of known terrorist actors. This whole-of-government approach ensures that the country can use a variety of tools when targeting terrorists. Just a day after the registry was created, the Financial Intelligence Unit of Argentina (UIF-AR), led by Mariano Federici, ordered the country-wide freeze on Hezbollah’s assets in our country.
Before this executive action by President Macri, Hezbollah was not officially recognized [as a terrorist organization] in Argentina. If someone wanted to raise their flag, they would have been able to do so. Previously, the only people in Argentina labeled as terrorists were those considered terrorists by the U.N. Security Council. This [new] registry works to target all terrorist organizations in the international arena, as well as persons or entities under investigation in Argentina.

Wages in Venezuela Are as Low as $3 a Month as Hyperinflation Continues
Abnormal circumstances oblige people to be creative and innovative.
The hyperinflation in Venezuela made wages a complete joke. We’re talking about the equivalent of $3 USD per month. The inability of the government (by far the largest employer in Venezuela) to provide raises as this hyperinflation destroyed the remaining acquisitive power people once had and condemned millions of people to misery, hunger, and deprivation.
This has originated a myriad of protests and demonstrations all over the country. Entirely useless, as the country is not a democracy nor there are any high-level functionaries that are going to do something. They’re too busy trying to evade the sanctioning of other countries while looting whatever is left of the national treasure.

DJKM noted that U.S. District Judge Myron H. Thompson accepted the SPLC’s argument that the “hate group” accusation is protected by the First Amendment “because it is essentially meaningless and cannot be proved right or wrong.”

New Legislation in Poland Will Criminalize Any Promotion of Underage Sexual Activity
In yet another common sense measure to protect families and children, the Polish legislature has voted in favor of a new law that would criminalize any promotion of sexual activity of children under the legal age of consent:
About a 1,000 people held a rally in Warsaw as Polish lawmakers voted in favour of a new legislation set to criminalize “the promotion of underage sexual activity,” with protesters expressing concerns that the bill might be aimed at banning sex education by treating it as pedophilia…
Sexualizing children at younger and younger ages has been an essential part of the the LGBT agenda, and this new law is a simple and elegant solution to thwarting their indoctrination campaign. Of course, the Polish government has no intention of sending parent to jail for discussing sex with their children, but that’s how the opposition works: on irrational fear.
[Comment: Legislature realizing that sexual indoctrination, not education, is going on at public schools.]

Your Forced RSVP to the Cancel Party
This list is hardly a complete list but it should stimulate some critical thought when it comes to Progressives attempting to run our lives and force law and policy upon us. The Progressives equal the Democrats, the Socialists, the Liberals. The notion of civil society is fading fast.
Consider the following:
1. The impeachment inquiry consuming Washington, DC is effectively canceling not only the vote for Trump to drain the swamp but to undo and redo past administration(s) actions.
2. Canceling history, changing the education syllabus on civics, monuments, and principles.
3. Canceling the protections of the Bill of Rights, mostly all of them forcing government, state, and federal to dispense their own versions of protections.
4. Democrat organizations conspiring with media to cancel real news and facts with opinion.

UK Police Launch Murder Probe After Finding 39 Bodies Inside Truck
Latest news is that they are all Chinese. Police in Ireland raid driver’s family homes rumoured to be on the suspicion that they have been running a people smuggling ring from Armagh via Varna in Bulgaria.
And in our country, everything is more wonderful and interesting. In the conditions of the economic crisis, it seems that the special services decided to put Turkish “relatives” – Azerbaijanis on a strict collar.
For several days all the social. networks stand on their heads – the Nazi Azerbaijani group is “appearing” in the country. Acts for several years, but no one was in the know. And now this news unexpectedly (!) became known.
If “Komsomolskaya Pravda” printed about this, it is very very serious. Apparently, someone aimed at the assets of the Azerbaijani diaspora. Because all these years, the authorities have not been interested in these unfortunate victims.
