Long ago, when some of us were in junior high (is that upper middle school?), there were different ways to gain attention. Some chose athletics or cheerleading, some chose to run for class office, some chose to work on the school paper or yearbook. Now and then, rarely, someone would find an unusual way, like selling more magazines than anyone else to support a school project. And of course, there were those who let it be known — although never in front of an authority figure — that they smoked or drank when they felt like it. Some even achieved a measure of fame by winning an essay contest — usually about patriotism or their hometown. And then there were the kids who thought they were God’s gift to entertainment, and somehow managed to weasel their way into talent shows and the like. Some of us may recall sitting through tooth-gnashingly saccharine performances of one kind or another.
But I cannot recall any schoolmates near my age who had discovered the real formula. All you had to do was stand up in school gatherings, town meetings or elsewhere and solemnly inform the adults that they had failed us. The Second World War, followed by the Cold War, was their doing. We were tired of being afraid and told to hide under our desks in case of nuclear bombs. This was their mess and they should darn well wake up and fix it. Then, of course, all the parents and grandparents and uncles and aunts would stand up and applaud loudly. And, of course, we would be asked to speak somewhere else, because adults were so impressed by this serious approach to the world’s problems. We might even be asked to speak to political gatherings, to the Congress, even to the UN, because, let’s face it, the adults need to learn a little humility. How can they expect us to take charge of the mess they have made?
Right! If any one of us had tried that, any one of a hundred adults would have stood and told him or her (sorry, those were the only genders we had at the time) to sit down and wait until he/she grew up to start judging things. I can just imagine my own father standing up and saying “Who the *&%$#@ do you think you are, talking like that to people who have forgotten more than you ever knew? Now sit down and listen!” And it would have been a favor in the long run, because the urge to be a fool would have been greatly diminished.
So why hasn’t someone done that favor for poor Greta Thunberg?

Swedish Church rings its bells for Greta

During Friday, Malmö church bells will ring for Greta Thunberg and the climate strike.
ToDAY Friday at noon, St. Paul’s church bells in Malmö ring the prayer for the climate.
This in connection with the global so-called climate movement Fridays for Future’s climate strike.
“In conjunction with the Global Climate Strike, the church bells ring and we gather for prayer for the future of the earth. the most vulnerable people – the poor, children and women. We pray that we believe in the human ability to change and change, “writes the Swedish church Malmö on its website.

At the same time, teachers in Malmö announce that they will strike on Friday, even though the Teachers’ Union is not on the strike. They call the Teachers’ Association no “a betrayal”, according to Sydsvenskan.

Teenagers are easy to manipulate. That is why they have been so often used by unscrupulous politicians – Hitler, Mao, Pol Pot, well, the list is long and growing.
What interests me in all this, is not Greta herself – she is just a poor sick girl used as a puppet by cruel manipulators – but who are her puppet masters? And how do they manage to remain anonymous despite the hyper-extensive media coverage of the girl’s ramblings. Why are they so shy? Does anyone have any information on them?
I feel sorry for her, she is obviously challenged (modern word that!) in some way, and her youth is being stolen from her by people who are using her. It is child abuse really.
I remember being 16, thinking I knew it all, when in fact…I knew d*** all, because I hadn’t actually spent enough time on the planet, gaining experience of events and human behaviour. My parents were sensible enough to listen to my immature garbage, smiling secretly, and tell me, maybe I was right, but perhaps I should wait a few years and reassess my views. They were right.
It is truly sickening to see this ignorant and mentally deranged child being offered up to the Nature Goddess as some kind of climate change sacrifice. I understand that both of her parents are “show biz” promoters of child actors or some such rot. Both of them belong in jail for child abuse in my estimation.

It would look that her handler is Luisa-Marie Neubauer, who belongs to something called the ONE foundation. Greta’s financiers include Bono, Bill and Melissa Gates and of course George Soros. Adults are telling Greta what to say and how to act all for their own benefit. It’s truly disgusting and yet typical of how such Globalists destroy the lives of children. Greta now even believes she can see CO2. People need to know this is the model they want children to follow. But know too that Greta’s brain won’t be fully developed until around the age of 21. Her puppet masters have no such excuse.

(This write-up makes me want to watch this show, which I have never seen (and I’ve only seen a few episodes of “The Big Bang Theory”)).
Maybe a Wagnerian-minded TV scriptwriter will recognize that Greta Thunberg has the perfect physiognomy (and genetics!) to star in a similar operatic Walkuere spinoff to be called “Young Bruennhilde”. And Greta’s UN speech shows that she has the talent to project the bossy tone of Bruennhilde as a young girl.
If you’re an American, you’ve possibly noted that over the past few years, American TV has become rife with programs featuring petulant, witchy, teenage females. It has become so bad, that I’ve stopped watching many shows that were basically tolerable to begin with. I’ve wondered for those few years why American TV programming has done this. Well, now I know.
