Santiago Abascal: “You have been elected to represent the sovereignty of Spain”

Santiago Abascal is the leader of the anti-immigration Vox Party in Spain. In the two videos below from the Spanish parliament, Mr. Abascal speaks about the monumental hoax known as the Mediterranean Migration Crisis, and points out that the illegal immigrants are not at all refugees, and according to international law should never have been brought to Spain or Italy.

Video transcript #1:

00:08   Thank you very much, Madame President.
00:11   I want to begin this talk by asking for pardon.
00:15   Asking for the pardon of the Italian public for the brutal attack on their sovereignty,
00:19   going ahead with the march of the formidable international propaganda machine,
00:23   but as we have seen here today
00:26   that originates with Hollywood millionaires who live on luxury yachts,
00:30   to all the communication media passing through supra-international organizations,
00:35   or like, we have also heard, from the violent propaganda
00:38   of the extreme left and social networks
00:41   against whom one does not dare oppose massive immigration
00:44   And I ask them for their pardon because I believe that we all should ask for pardon because this
00:48   blackmailing of Italy, against the sovereignty of the Italian people is done, to our shame,
00:52   with the excuse of a boat that flies the Spanish flag.
00:56   And for this, I want to continue this talk by demanding, Madame President,
01:01   explanations by the government for having permitted this boat with a Spanish flag
01:05   to engage in illicit activity, already been advised by legitimate maritime authorities
01:11   led there by… this blackmail, first against Interior Minister Matteo Salvini
01:15   for Italian sovereignty, which we here support,
01:19   and against Italian sovereignty. And we come precisely
01:23   to talk about sovereignty, because all of you, all of us
01:27   are working here for the Spanish people
01:31   to represent and defend their sovereignty, though many of you don’t believe in it
01:35   and the laws that govern it. And this sovereignty
01:39   means that within the limits of our borders and the ships that fly our flag
01:43   we don’t live by the law of the jungle, rather
01:47   in a state of rights and laws that separate us from anarchy or piracy.

Video transcript #2:

01:13   …because many of you want to dress yourselves up as saviors of humanity — all of you.
01:18   You have not been elected for that. You have been elected to represent the sovereignty of Spain.
01:21   To comply with its laws, to defend its borders,
01:25   and defend the interest of the Spaniards, and for no other thing.
01:49   …play with the sentiments of the Spanish people, calling migrants “shipwrecked”. They are not.
01:53   Because if they were, at the moment of being rescued, they must be transferred to a safe port.
01:59   This would be Tunis (Tunisia), which seems to be a touristic and safe destination
02:02   for millions of people in the West, but doesn’t figure in the routes
02:06   or the plans of the mafias, of the NGOs and the oligarchies.
03:27   And Excellencies, although you don’t want to see it, the problem
03:31   that we must combat is massive illegal immigration,
03:35   which puts our nations and the countries of origin
03:38   like [unintelligible] many political and religious leaders of the lands,
03:42   who compromise our security and our freedoms.
03:46   And although Mrs. Calvo gave us false numbers [unintelligible] for years, what is certain
03:50   is that since Mr. Sanchez became interior minister, 71,000 illegals have entered Spain.
04:01   …according to the numbers of the Interior Ministry, [they are] 28% of foreigners
04:04   in jails, and according to the prison unions, 35%.
04:07   And this is a reality that you cannot hide, and that
04:11   we want to bring before this congress to be debated.
04:32   It is you, precisely, those who accuse; it is you who are responsible
04:36   for the tragedy in the Mediterranean.
04:42   Fight against the mafias and their accomplices, be they NGOs,
04:47   be they politicians or multi-millionaires. And proceed with the immediate repatriation
04:52   of illegal immigrants and the immediate deportation of legal immigrants
04:56   who have committed crimes in our country. Thank you very much.

  1. The balls of my fellow Europeans are growing. I thought they had been castrated by socialist globalist wreckers, but perhaps there is hope that we can avoid a massive bloodshed by beginning repatriation now.

    • Repatriation would be a good start, but it is impossible to drain the bathtub when the water coming out of the tap and into the bathtub is greater than the amount going down the drain.

    • Defeat in two world wars didn’t seem to have much of an effect on German arrogance and ignorance. If it were possible, Germany should be broken up into many smaller countries so that their stupidity and virtue signaling had far less muscle to cause harm to the rest of Europe. Unification of the German states by Bismarck led directly to the disaster that was the First World War and the destruction of western civilization.

      • Agree 100%. The reunification of Germany after 89 brought the disaster of today.
I have German acquaintances , they are arrogant and incredible ignorant of the needs of others.Exactly like their crazy country

    • I am of the opinion that the only person who could truly speak for the majority of people would have to be a certifiable idiot. And for the most part, certifiable idiots seem to be what fills the various halls of government across most of the western world.

There was a very good reason the Founders restricted the franchise from most citizens. There has to be some kind of skin in the game for those who are allowed to determine who will lead the country; either that, or restrict the power and reach of government so much that it has almost no impact on anyone’s life and thus does not matter which idiot aspires to lead it.
