The Utrecht Tram Mujahid Goes on Trial

On the March 18 of this year a culture-enricher killed four people in a mass shooting on a tram in the Dutch city of Utrecht. The police said it sort of appeared to be a terrorist attack, but they were never quite sure of the shooter’s motive — despite the fact that he told them he had committed the attack in the name of his religion.

The following video is taken from a TV news report about the trial of the Utrecht tram jihadi. Many thanks to C for the translation, and to Vlad Tepes for the subtitling:

Video transcript:

00:00   The court [judges]. Stand up please.
00:03   The suspect, Gokmen T., could not be filmed.
00:07   A judge asked him many questions, but he was not willing to answer them today.
00:12   He talked previously during an interrogation by police.
00:15   He told them he committed the attack in name of his faith.
00:19   The judge repeated his previous statement: “I won’t let anybody mock our faith”.
00:26   “I shot those people to show that you’re not made of diamonds, and we’re not made of sand.”
00:33   “If I had a thousand lives, I would give them to Allah.”
00:37   Matthijs van de Wiel is reporter for the NOS [state TV]. He was present at the hearing this morning.
00:42   The suspect Gokmen T. entered the room accompanied by four officers.
00:46   He was handcuffed, and the handcuffs were connected to a broad belt.
00:51   Very unusual, but this was done because he refused to go to court.
00:55   He was forced, and resisted. He was rude to the judges.
01:01   He refused to stand like everybody else, and he addressed the judge using “je” [informal “you”].
01:09   The case is about what happened here in March, in a tram on the 24 Oktober plein in Utrecht.
01:16   The suspect suddenly opened fire, inside the tram and outside.
01:21   A terrorist attack that shocked the nation.
01:25   It was very busy at the court. Many people wanted to be present, reports Matthijs van de Wiel.
01:30   Especially the people who rode the tram, and the family
01:34   of the victims showed a lot of sadness and anger.
01:38   Anger because the suspect showed no remorse whatsoever.
01:41   The father of one of the victims stood up towards the end of the session, and loudly yelled
01:46   “coward” and “you are a pig” at the suspect.
01:50   Many angry and sad people at this first court session. The suspect was returned to prison.
01:58   Only after the summer will he appear before the judge again. The case will first be
02:02   investigated further. This often happens in criminal prosecutions; it takes a lot of time.
02:07   Because even though Gokmen T. has confessed, police want to get to the bottom of the case.
02:11   More than fifty detectives are still working on this case.
02:15   They want to know why he did this, and how did he prepare?
02:19   And it still needs to be established whether
02:22   Gokmen T. was of sound mind at the time of the shooting.

  1. Sound mind? It depends. If being a Muslim becomes regarded as a mental illness then at least he can get the treatment he needs, along with the many millions in Europe. I believe China is leading the path to help these victims rehabilitate.

    • If being a Muslim becomes regarded as a mental illness then at least he can get the treatment he needs, along with the many millions in Europe.

And if that “treatment” ends up mimicking the Maotown Method™, who shall be expected to protest? Hell, even Wahhabist Saudi Arabia cannot bring itself to criticize the ordure of Beijing’s elephantine parlor occupant.

THERE ARE NONE SO BLIND AS THOSE WHO WILL NOT SEE.

  3. THERE ARE NONE SO BLIND AS THOSE WHO WILL NOT SEE.

And, additionally, there are none so blind that their eventually starving guide dogs (Mohammedan cats only, mind you!) will not turn upon and eat..

  4. It makes you wonder when European cops and prosecutors refuse to accept jihad for my religion as a valid motive. Is it stupidity or leftist ideology? If Muslims attack it must be for exceptional reasons. If a Christian attacker said his religion was his motive would they accept that as valid? Yes, they’d jump at the chance to slam a Christian. It’s not stupidity. They know exactly why Muslims are so notoriously eager to use violence. They WANT to cover for Islam, they want everyone to pretend Islam is peaceful. In Europe there’s a matrix of popular hatreds: capitalists, conservatives, Christians, Jews, and Americans. They see Islam as their ally in those shared hatreds. It’s truly sick. The targeting of tens of thousands of white girls and women by Muslims for rape and sex trafficking, and the open collaboration by the media and politicians in ignoring this for years — tells us how depraved Europe now is. I sincerely think Europe, esp Britain, deserves to burn for its betrayal of young working class girls.

So of course Muslims committing crimes mostly get off Scot free, or with absurdly light sentences, and their motives of hate and jihad are always denied. Europe will burn.

    • Is it stupidity or leftist ideology?

Ask me if I want pie or cake and you’ll get the same answer.

      YES!

    • Clearly, trams offend some people and provoke violence.

You’d best know that the gays are putting their oar in on this one. Now, they’re all agitating over civil rights for the tramsgendered!
