Two men have been arrested in connection with the incident.

In other news, the group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) protested against the eating of oysters, and advocated for the rights of bivalves.

A Constitutional Crisis, Part 4

Ignoring the guidelines of our Constitution concerning who we have in office is a Constitutional Crisis.

The argument that the 14th Amendment automatically makes a person born in America a citizen does not hold water. The 14th Amendment was passed to give slaves citizenship and the children they bore while here. But anyone born on US soil is a citizen. First of all the 14th Amendment state “anyone born within the limits of the United States, and subject to their jurisdiction, is by virtue of natural law and national law a citizen of the United States”. A foreigner is not ‘under the jurisdiction of the United States.’ In fact the author of the amendment, Senator Jacob M. Howard, even stated; “This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the Government of the United States, but will include every other persons.” So the author, and he should know, states that aliens here that have a child does NOT qualify for citizenship. This has been a ploy by the Democrats to increase their voting base for over a hundred years.

We come to Kamala Harris. Neith of her parents were citizens when she was born so she is not eligibli either. Her mother immigrated to America in 1960 and her father came in 1961 and Kamala was born in 1964. It take longer than three years to become a citizen.

We could look at Ilan Omar. She married her brother to get him into the United States. That’s called immigration fraud. That should be grounds for deportation, yet no one is doing a thing about it.

Then we have Rashida Tlaib, representative from Michigan. It is required that you live in the district that you represent. Her father has stated that she used a fake address on her election affidavit. He said his daughter misrepresented her residency when she signed an election affidavit in 2008 with the Wayne County Clerk claiming she was a citizen of Detroit.

According to that affidavit, Tlaib claimed she lived at 9123 Rathbone in Detroit. That house is owned in part by her father, Harbi Elabed, and he now says she did not live there and he was only recently made aware that she had claimed so.

Aw, Shucks: PETA Fights for Oysters’ Rights in Push for Veganism

In its new crusade for veganism, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has rushed to the defense of oysters and other bivalves, insisting they should be respected and never eaten.

“Oysters are never vegan,” PETA announced in a short video presentation on Twitter Saturday. “Bivalves are animals that deserve our consideration and should never be eaten or used in any other way.”

Deep State: First, The Attempted Coup. Now, The Political Prisoner…

Manafort was convicted earlier and is doing time in Pennsylvania for white collar crimes around taxable income and foreign agent registration. These are crimes few are ever prosecuted for, but they were real enough. Now he’s a wedge player in a new and very dirty deep-state political game. The Manhattan district attorney’s office is throwing the elderly, now wheelchair-bound former campaign manager into Rikers Island prison, not because of any Rikers Island-worthy thuggery he could have done, but because they want to pressure him to cooperate with them to deliver Trump’s head on a platter to them.

It’s unprecedented. Attorney Alan Dershowitz is horrified. Even the Daily Beast is horrified. Ocasio-Cortez is not saying something out of left field this time, and she has allies.

What we are seeing is Manafort now becoming a political prisoner. Which is insane, yet part of a believable continuum of fourth-world events coming from Trump’s enemies. We have just come off an attempted coup d’etat attempt by the Deep State, which went down in flames after the Mueller investigation and report. Yet this same Deep-State left, with its hands still on the levers of state power in an area outside Trump’s chain of command, is now responding with a new bid to Get Trump through its Manhattan district attorney’s office prosecutors. This measure against Manafort is a bid to secure his cooperation to take down Trump in unrelated real estate cases, and Dershowitz cites a quote from a judge stating exactly that. Manafort may not even have much information anyway, given that he was Trump’s campaign manager only for a few months. But that doesn’t matter to them, they want Manafort there to put the screws on. And they are willing to take hostages — political prisoners — to do it.

And like any political prisoner operation from a fourth-world banana republic, they’re putting him through torture — from a nightmarish insanity-inducing solitary confinement, which is the de facto condition that Manafort is going to get “for his own protection,” to the heat of the summer without air conditioning or ice water in the confined space with only a wall slot for food deliveries. Rikers, remember, is the prison where at least one prisoner, Jerome Murdough, died in a 2014 heat wave. It’s a jail so bad prisoners plea guilty to crimes they didn’t commit in order to be sent to real prisons just to escape the Rikers conditions. It’s so bad the entire complex is set for destruction based on human rights considerations. The Manhattan prosecutors doing this to Manafort, who is in ailing health anyway, may well kill him, and we know they may be trying to kill him. That’s based on widespread knowledge of the incarceration complex’s conditions, coupled with their unneccessary act of moving him from a Pennsylvania complex where he is serving time for unrelated crimes, to be available for them — and to pressure, pressure, pressure him based on the execrable conditions.

Elderly Man Who Shot Two Burglars in His Home Charged With Felony Over Inherited Gun

An elderly man in New York was arrested for shooting two burglars in his house, not for murdering the intruders, but for shooting them with an unregistered gun.

“He was in the kitchen when he heard people in the garage coming up the stairs to the kitchen. When they got to the top of the stairs he told them to stop, but one started coming toward him. He fired three or four shots and struck both.” That’s how the scenario played out as 64 year old Ronald Stolarczyk did what he had to do when two burglars had broken into his home. This being in New York, police quickly arrested Stolarczyk and charged him not for any form of homicide, but for illegal possession of a firearm, because the gun he used to defend himself and his home had been inherited from his father and not registered.

BUDAPEST, Hungary — Newly elected Hungarian conservative Member of the European Parliament Balazs Hidvéghi predicted a second term for U.S. President Donald Trump, telling European leftists to get used to the idea.

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart London at his office in central Budapest, Hidvéghi spoke highly of the U.S. President saying: “Well, I think people just have to get used to Donald Trump. He is the U.S. president, he was elected with clear popular support and I think he’s on course to be re-elected as I see things. He’s an outspoken person, a very straightforward politician.”

Florida Man Disrupts Restaurant, Tells Officers ‘Go to Dunkin’ Donuts’

A Florida man was disrupting a Naples restaurant, standing on chairs while sticking out his middle finger and shouting at customers before his arrest, deputies say.

The suspect, John Toddy, 55, faces a Disorderly Intoxication charge.

The manager of the Latino America Restaurant on Collier Boulevard said Toddy began slamming the menu sign outside the establishment, according to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office arrest report.

Then, Toddy entered the restaurant, stood up on chairs and stuck his middle finger toward patrons while shouting and cursing at everyone.

Give Up Your Password or Go to Jail: Police Push Legal Boundaries to Get Into Cellphones

“The world should know that what they’re doing out here is crazy,” said a man who refused to share his passcode with police.

The officers demanded his passcodes, warning him they’d get warrants to search the cellphones. Montanez suspected that police were trying to fish for evidence of illegal activity. He also didn’t want them seeing more personal things, including intimate pictures of his girlfriend.

So he refused, and was locked up on the drug and firearms charges.

Five days later, after Montanez was bailed out of jail, a deputy from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office tracked him down, handed him the warrants and demanded the phone passcodes. Again, Montanez refused. Prosecutors went to a judge, who ordered him locked up again for contempt of court.

“I felt like they were violating me. They can’t do that,” Montanez, 25, recalled recently. “F*** y’all. I ain’t done nothing wrong. They wanted to get in the phone for what?”

He paid a steep price, spending 44 days behind bars before the THC and gun charges were dropped, the contempt order got tossed and he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor pot charge. And yet he regrets nothing, because he now sees his defiance as taking a stand against the abuse of his rights.

Glenn Greenwald Rips Liberals Who ‘Beg for Censorship’ After YouTube ‘Adpocalypse’

Journalist Glenn Greenwald blasted ‘liberal’ reporters who push for deplatforming and censorship of political opponents. “Imagine going into journalism and begging corporations to silence people,” he told Fox News’ Tucker Carlson.

Speaking to Carlson on Thursday, after YouTube demonetized hundreds of accounts for posting content even remotely linked to controversial topics, Greenwald excoriated Vox journalist Carlos Maza, whose clamoring against conservative shock-jock Steven Crowder triggered the crackdown.

“YouTube caved in defense of the powerful,” Greenwald claimed. “That’s what they will always do. Defend the mob and the powerful at the expense of those who are marginalized.”

“It would never occur to me to run to social media companies to beg for censorship,” he said. “In part, it comes with the territory of being a public figure. I don’t want to live in a world where our discourse is policed and determined by overlords who run Silicon Valley companies and will always cater to the most powerful faction.”

Harvard Scientist Warns: There’s No Way 5G is Harmless

A call for a moratorium on 5G specifically was issued in September 2017 by more than 180 scientists and doctors from 35 countries,6,7 “until potential hazards for human health and the environment have been fully investigated by scientists independent from industry,” noting that “RF-EMF has been proven to be harmful for humans and the environment,” and that “5G will substantially increase exposure to radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMF) on top of the 2G, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, etc. for telecommunications already in place.”

In an article8 on the Environmental Health Trust’s website, Ronald Powell, Ph.D., a retired Harvard scientist of applied physics, notes “there is NO SAFE WAY to implement 5G in our communities; rather there are only ‘bad ways’ and ‘worse ways,’“ and rather than argue about who should have control over its deployment, we should focus on preventing its employment altogether. Health Concerns Over 5G Abound

Wall Street analyst Sunil Rajgopal recently warned mounting health concerns may delay the implementation of 5G, Fortune magazine reports.9 Some countries have already taken steps to slow 5G deployment due to health risks, Rajgopal notes. The question is, can it be stopped?

5G testing was recently halted in Brussels, Belgium,10 and Switzerland is delaying its 5G rollout in order to create a system to monitor radiation.11 Syracuse, New York, is also attempting to set up some safeguards and has “negotiated the right to conduct on-demand safety inspections of 5G antennas,” to allay public concerns.12 According to Forbes:13

“In New Hampshire, lawmakers are considering establishing a commission to study the health impacts of 5G networks. And Mill Valley, Calif., near San Francisco, last year banned new 5G wireless cells.”

Many other areas, however, have chosen to trust the Federal Communications Commission and the wireless industry trade association, CTIA, which has created a “Cellphone Health Facts” website citing research showing no risk. However, if you believe the FCC is assessing health risks, you’d be wrong.

Minnesota Cop Sentenced to 12+ Years for Killing Unarmed Woman Who Called 911

A former Minneapolis, Minnesota police officer convicted of shooting an unarmed woman in an alley behind her home was given a 12.5 year prison sentence, in a controversial case that had the ACLU crying racism.

Mohamed Noor, 33, was convicted in April of third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter for fatally shooting Justine Ruszczyk Damond on the night of July 15, 2017. Damond had called to report a possible sexual assault taking place outside her home; Noor shot her as she approached his squad car.

“I felt fear,” Noor said at his sentencing Friday, but added “I knew in an instant that I was wrong” after he saw who he had shot.

Noor’s lawyers pushed for a light penalty, arguing a prison sentence would only deepen the tragedy, but Judge Kathryn Quaintance handed down the sentence recommended under Minnesota guidelines. The maximum penalty for third-degree murder in the state is 25 years.

“The act may have been based on a miscalculation, but it was an intentional act,” the judge said. “Good people sometimes do bad things.”

Over and Over Again… Republican Lawmakers Refuse to Support Trump or His Voters — is it Time for a New Party? Is it Time to Brexit the GOP?

When people show you who they are, believe them.

The Republican Party never much liked Donald Trump or what he represented. The GOP and establishment conservative groups never much liked Trump’s supporters.

Republicans were fine at cowering behind their desks at the first sign of adversity. They were used to making promises and not following through. They were happy to cede power to a radical fascist left that continues to tear away at the fabric of this great nation.

When Trump won Paul Ryan said he would build a wall. Paul Ryan lied… repeatedly. He never had any intention of building a wall.

Either did Mitch McConnell.

When Trump declared a national emergency at the border 12 Senate Republicans voted against him. TWELVE!

In May GOP senators killed off Trump supporter Steve Moore’s nomination to the Federal Reserve Board.

They did the same thing to Herman Cain.

Earlier this week GOP Senators undermined President Trump in his efforts to pressure Mexico to prevent the hundreds of thousands of illegals who are traveling through their country to the US.

They said they would not support tariffs on our southern enemy. They won’t support this president.

When Paul Manafort was moved to Rikers Island this week to continue his torture — REPUBLICANS SAID NOTHING! Do you think they will defend the next Trump supporter when his or her number comes up?

But the worst abuses are on the US Constitution.

On Saturday The Daily Beast published a nasty hit piece on the conservative leaning Natural News website.

True the Vote Wins Stunning Court Ruling Against IRS in Lois Lerner Scandal

Court Finds IRS Actions Unconstitutional, Awards TTV Increased Fees Based on “Bad Faith Enhancement”

The True the Vote v. IRS lawsuit has finally come to a close with a stunning ruling by U.S. District Court Judge Reggie Walton ruling in favor of True the Vote; penalizing the IRS with maximum attorneys fees due to their unconstitutional discrimination against the group and their unethical behavior in the case.

This decision marks the end of a nearly decade long battle that first began in 2010, when federal government agencies including the IRS, DOJ, FBI, ATF, OSHA weaponized against True the Vote and its founder, Catherine Engelbrecht. Under Obama Administration leadership, the agencies leveled a barrage of attacks, including twenty-three audits, investigations, and inquiries, against the group in an attempt to stop their work in election integrity.

In 2013, True the Vote brought suit against the IRS, seeking to prove that IRS actions were unconstitutional. The ensuing fight cost millions and nearly destroyed the only conservative voters rights organization in America.

True the Vote’s founder Catherine Engelbrecht said, “At the outset of this case, I testified before Congress and swore that I would never retreat or surrender. Today I have fulfilled that oath. Thank you to all the citizens across the country who stood steadfastly beside us. We could not have done it without your support.”

United States District Judge Reggie B. Walton signed a Consent Order that included the IRS admission of wrongdoing and affirmed that prejudice on the basis of an applicant’s name, association, or political viewpoint is an unconstitutional violation of First Amendment rights. Then, in a stunning rebuke of the IRS actions that led to this litigation, Judge Walton also ruled that True the Vote is entitled to a “bad faith enhancement” to its requested attorney’s fees. Judge Walton’s opinion held there is “clear and convincing evidence necessary for a finding of bad faith on the part of [the IRS]” in their discrimination against True the Vote. While the exact amount to be awarded is still pending, True the Vote’s application under the Equal Access to Justice Act requested the recovery of $1.9 million in attorneys’ fees.

[Comment: No jail time for the officials involved? What will prevent this from happening to another conservative organization?]

‘True the Vote’ Wins Big Case After Decade-Long Battle With IRS

The ‘True the Vote’ v. IRS lawsuit has finally come to an end. And it’s being seen as a big victory for freedom in the IRS-Lois Lerner saga in which conservative organizations were targeted and blocked from gaining tax-exempt status to keep them from being involved in the 2012 election.

This remarkable new ruling by US District Court Judge Reggie Walton was in favor of True the Vote, penalizing the IRS with extensive attorneys fees.

The ruling indicates that, throughout the case, the IRS displayed unconstitutional discrimination and unethical behavior against True the Vote, a group that fights for election integrity.

“Europe Will Not be Europe”

On the evening of May 26, Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Matteo Salvini commented on the results of the European elections, “A new Europe is born.” The party he leads, the League, had just won with 34.3% of the vote. Other parties defined in Europe as “populist” also won: in Hungary, the Fidesz-KDNP alliance (Hungarian Civic Alliance and the Christian Democratic People’s Party) received 52.3% of the vote. In Poland, the PiS (Law and Justice) party won 45.4% of the vote. Sebastian Kurz’s Austrian People’s Party (ÖVP) won 34.6% of the vote and the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ), his ally, was awarded 17.2%, despite a recent scandal that led to the resignation of Heinz-Christian Strache, chairma of the FPO, from his post as Vice-Chancellor of Austria (the Kurtz government fell on May 27). In the United Kingdom, the Brexit Party victory — at 31.6% of the vote — was a remarkable achievement that signaled the persistent willingness of millions of Britons to leave the European Union. There, the “populist” positions — the defense of national sovereignty and European civilization, refusal of uncontrolled immigration and diktats of Brussels technocrats — gained ground.

In many European countries, however, the results of the “populists” were mixed.

Boffins Stole Our 3D Files — and Gave Them All to Facebook’s AI Eggheads, Claims Lithuanian Biz

Facebook used a purloined database of 3D objects for its AI projects, according to a Lithuanian company that spent years and millions of dollars compiling the dataset.

UAB Planner5D has sued the antisocial media giant and Princeton University in the US, claiming the posh college illegally downloaded more than a million digitized objects and scenes from Planner5D’s website.

Facebook is named in the lawsuit because it used Princeton’s allegedly purloined data in its AI efforts.

The objects compiled by Planner5D covered typical household and office stuff and layouts. According to court documents [PDF] filed in California this week, Facebook used the database to train up its robots to identify typical three-dimensional spaces…

The actual alleged theft was apparently carried out by Princeton researchers, the lawsuit stated. We’re told the researchers wrote code to scrape Planner5D’s website and ended up downloading more than 5GB of data. Planner5D controls access to its database by requiring users to access it through its own proprietary software: something it claims the researchers knowingly bypassed.

The website’s terms of service are also clear, the lawsuit claims, and specifically states that people are not authorized to use “any ‘deep-link,’ ‘page-scrape,’ ‘robot,’ ‘spider’ or other automatic device, program, algorithm, or methodology which perform similar functions to access, acquire, copy or monitor any proton of the Planner5D project…”

There is no doubt that the researchers grabbed the database, the company says, because they then wrote about how valuable the Planner5D database has been in their research papers. Somewhat amazingly, the researchers then posted and promoted their own copy of the Planner5D’s database on their own servers for others to download, the lawsuit alleges.

by Matt Snape

With Britain on the verge of leaving the European Union and Italy drifting rightwards under Matteo Salvini’s direction, acting Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has pledged to use this opportunity to assert his country’s influence over the EU post-Brexit. The UK has always been Brussels’ biggest obstacle to further integration.

Sanchez’s Socialist Party had a strong showing at the European elections, winning 20 of the 54 seats Spain holds in the European Parliament. As a result, the Prime Minister stated Madrid will be pushing for a position on the European Commission. He also has a vision to complete the reforms needed to strengthen the EU’s Banking Union.

Italy’s clout over Brussels is waning. At the moment, it is the only nation to retain two of the five EU presidencies: Mario Draghi led the European Central Bank (ECB) and Antonio Tajani presided over the European Parliament. But the Italian Government’s demands that an Italian should occupy the presidency of the ECB will fall on deaf ears. This is because of Salvini’s open warfare with Brussels. Former Spanish Finance Minister, Luis de Guindos, is already the ECB’s Vice President. This further weakens Italy’s demands…

I’m More Centrist Than Salvini, Closer to M5S Says Farage

Lauds League EP group but says ‘we’re all different’

(ANSA) — London, June 7 — Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage said Friday he was “more centrist” than Italy’s far-right nationalist League party leader Matteo Salvini and felt “closer” to the League’s government partner, the anti-establishment 5-Star Movement (M5S).

Farage said he had decided not to join the far-right nationalist European Parliament caucus including the anti-migrant Euroskeptic League “because we are more centrist”.

Speaking to to SkyTg 24, Farage said he did not feel “any contempt” for the League’s caucus.

He said Salvini was a “very effective leader”.

The European parties, however, he said, were “all different”.

The Brexit Party, the former UKIP leader said, gathered “both former Conservatives and former Labourites”.

He said it was therefore “perhaps closer to the M5S, although they are clearly centre-left”.”

Italy: Tobacconist Shoots Dead Robber, Salvini Voices Solidarity

Investigators assessing if case of legitimate self defence

(ANSA) — Turin, June 7 — Investigators are looking into whether the case of a tobacconist who shot a man dead near Turin overnight falls within the remit of a new law boosting the right to legitimate self defence. The tobacconist is said to have gone outside with a gun when three robbers tried to enter his shop, in the town of Pavone Canavese.

The shopkeeper, who lives above the store, opened fire and killed a member of the gang, sources said.

Prosecutors have questioned the tobacconist but, so far, have not opened any other procedures against him. Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Matteo Salvini, who was behind the new legitimate-self-defence law, expressed his support for the shopkeeper.

“Total solidarity for the tobacconist, who I hope will be able to benefit from the new law that guarantees (the right) to legitimate defence to everyone,” the League leader said.

Pope Francis Denounces ‘Culture of Insult’ In the Digital Age

In our polarized world, people surround themselves with like-minded people to avoid having to confront different ideas, Pope Francis told the faithful at Pentecost Mass on Sunday.

“In our world today disharmonies have become true divisions. There are those who have too much and there are those who have nothing; there are those who try to live a hundred years and those who cannot be born,” Francis said in his homily.

UK Lawyer: Vegans Should be Exempt From ‘Discriminatory’ Work Tea Rounds

A lawyer has said that vegans should be exempt from the great British tradition of making tea for your colleagues because it is discriminatory to ask them to handle or buy milk.

Vegan lawyer Alex Monaco has said that being a vegan should be treated as a legally ‘protected characteristic’ like gender, race, religion, disability, or sexuality under the Equality Act 2010, and therefore vegans should not be asked to make other people tea with cow’s milk.

‘Action Should be Taken’: Indian MP Lashes Out at Praying Muslim Groups Blocking Roads

Muslim worshipers in India should pray in mosques while those who block public streets while offering Namaz should be dealt with, an Indian lawmaker has said, as the country’s Islamic community celebrates Eid-al-Fitr.

Some religious practices of local Muslims cause inconveniences to residents of Indian cities, Bhola Singh, who was recently re-elected to the Indian parliament, said on Wednesday. The lawmaker from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) is urging Muslims to restrict their prayers to specialized places of worship.

Muslim Mob Tried to Force Tribal Woman Performers to Dance Naked During Eid Celebrations in Assam, 2 Held

Sandipta Barua | HENB | Guwahati | June 9, 2019:: A mob of over 500 men from Muslim Community allegedly tried to force tribal woman dancers of a troupe to perform nude dancing during a cultural programme connected to Eid celebration in Assam’s Kamrup district, following which police arrested two persons involved in the incident, officials said Sunday.

The two men, Shahrukh Khan and Subahan Khan, were arrested on Sunday after a case was filed on the basis of a complaint registered by the cultural troupe against the organisers of the programme, which was held at a village under Chaygaon Police Station limits.

The dancers of the group named as “Ranbow Dance Group” were heckled by the spectators who demanded that they strip and dance, according to the FIR.

Some of the girls in the troupe were molested but they managed to escape from the programme at Asolpara and their vehicles were also pelted with stones, it added.

According to a complaint filed with police by Arup D Rabha, director of the dance group, a special cultural show was organised on the occasion of Eid in the Asolpara village in Chaygaon area in Kamrup District. Kuddus Ali, one of the organisers of the event, had contracted the Rainbow Dance Group of Boko in Assam for performing in the event on 7th June, and an amount of Rs. 37,000 was agreed upon for the same. Accordingly, the 42-member dance group reached the venue in the evening on the programme day, but they were surprised to see that there was not any environment of a cultural program there. When they contacted Kuddus Ali, he took them to a weird looking place which was surrounded by corrugated sheet fences on all sides.

It was alleged that the organisers had sold tickets to people at very high rates claiming that the troupe was coming from Coochbehar in West Bengal to perform strip dances on Friday…

BEIJING — Websites of The Washington Post and the Guardian appear to now be blocked in China as the country’s government further tightens its so-called “Great Firewall” censorship apparatus as it navigates a politically sensitive period.

Until this weekend, The Post and the Guardian were among the last few major English-language outlets that were still regularly accessible from mainland China without the use of virtual private networking (VPN) software, according to the censorship tracker greatfire.org.

Hong Kong Protesters Demonstrate Against Extradition Bill

Hundreds of thousands of people have marched in Hong Kong against a law critics fear could let China target political opponents in the territory.

The controversial extradition bill would allow suspected criminals to be sent to mainland China for trial.

Organisers say there were one million people, which would make it the biggest march in more than 20 years. Police say there were 240,000 at its peak.

After it ended, clashes erupted between hundreds of demonstrators and police.

Australia’s Growing Dam Crisis

More than 80 years ago, Dr John Bradfield, the great Australian engineer who designed the Sydney Harbour Bridge, could see what was needed — build dams to catch water on the rainy side and transfer it to the dry side, preferably generating some hydro power in the process. Water transfer could be achieved using tunnels and/or pipes-pumps assisted by syphon, wind or hydro energy. We have engineers and equipment able to drill huge traffic tunnels — let’s show similar skill in water management and transfer.

Once we had people with the determination and skills needed to create farsighted water projects like the Snowy Mountain Scheme, the Ord Scheme, the Gordon Dam, the Burdekin Dam and the Perth Kalgoorlie Water Pipeline. Those days are past.

“No Dams” Mafia

Today we have far more people but we are not conserving more water. It is 35 years since we build a large dam in Australia. And we neglect or waste underground water resources.

Urban dwellers demand cheap, clean, abundant water for long showers, washing dishes and cars, public and private pools, verdant lawns, fountains, gardens, parks, golf courses and weekend retreats.

However, many of these same people tend to lead the vocal opposition to any proposal for a new dam. They criticise farmers who conserve water to grow our food and fibre, and promote high water prices in order to crush farm demand for it.

Exclusive: Via ‘We Build the Wall’ — Armed Mexican Cartel Member Filmed Crossing US Border in Broad Daylight! (Video)

Two weeks ago and over the Memorial Day Weekend the “We Build the Wall” organization led by founder and organizer Brian Kolfage built their first major border wall section on the West Texas-New Mexico border on the side of Mount Cristo Rey.

Brian Kolfage and “We Build the Wall” raised over $20 million in private donations from over 260,000 individuals to build a border wall on the US southern border with Mexico. The GoFundMe page was launched after Democrat and Republican lawmakers refused to work with President Trump to secure the border.

Since this wall was built in Sunland Park near Mt. Cristo Rey there have been no crossings by illegal aliens in the once popular crossing area.

The wall worked.

However, the Mexican drug and human trafficking cartels moved their operations.

How Italy’s Migrant Model Town Riace Veered Far-Right

Former mayor Domenico “Mimmo” Lucano encouraged migrants and refugees to come to the village to counter a gradual decline of inhabitants and workers and show how migrant integration could be done.

But now he is no longer even a member of the town council after his left-backed list lost in the elections, and he has been barred from the town.

Lucano is due in court next week to face charges including that he failed to put to tender a garbage collection contract that went to a migrant-linked cooperative.

German director Wim Wenders made a documentary in 2010 featuring the leftist mayor and Riace’s refugees, but Lucano was last year placed under house arrest for allegedly setting up fake marriages to help foreign women stay in the country after their asylum applications were rejected…

Over the years the town took in around 6,000 migrants, opened shops and workshops and even launched its own currency stamped with the heads of Nelson Mandela or Martin Luther King.

But that model of tolerance and inclusion has disappeared.

“Almost everyone has gone. There aren’t even any more children,” said Daniel, a 37-year-old Ghanaian, in perfect Italian.

[Comment: This is what happens when a town allows a communist to become mayor. Note the term “far-right” which is bogus. It is just a return to sensible governing before rabid leftists took charge with their multiculti garbage.]

Faith in the System: Protests Against Britain’s LGBT Schooling

by Alasdair Lane

“Relationships, aspirations, sparkle” reads the sign outside Anderton Park School in the English city of Birmingham. The words encapsulate the school’s ethos, and are to the outside eye completely harmless. But to those waving signs and chanting slogans opposite the picturesque red-brick building, the motto — or one third of it, at least — points to an issue of utmost acrimony.

Relationships — specifically of the same-sex nature — are being “forced” upon young pupils via the school’s curriculum, argue the protesters, the vast majority of which are Muslim. LGBT content, however educational, is at odds with their Islamic faith, they argue, and should not be taught to primary school aged children.

But now, after months of fiery demonstrations and national news coverage, the school-gate protests have been banned. “Too serious to tolerate” was the risk to children, who everyday were exposed to the demonstrators’ “increasingly unacceptable” behaviour, said Birmingham City Council, who brought the legal action. The protestors are undeterred, however, and have vowed to fight the “disproportionate and unjust” ruling in the courts…

  1. In other news, the group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) protested against the eating of oysters, and advocated for the rights of bivalves

There’s a very few things imaginable that could ever affect my love for all things molluscular:

    1.) Lemon wedges

    2.) Drawn butter

    3.) Shucking knife

Unavailability of garlic, capers, dill, horseradish, “deglazing” liquor [grin], sourdough, Shaoxing, wasabi, and Kikkoman sashimi kappuo shoyu are problematic but not necessarily deal breakers.

    • But don’t eat the mollusks from Seattle on down. They’ve been poisoned by all the drugs and other effluvia coming from the huge numbers of homeless.

      • How sad. For a short while, the unrivaled Olympia ister was making a comeback from all the Puget Sound pulp mill dioxin. Thems and Japanese Kumamotos are half-shell heaven.

WARNING: Never eat oysters when you’re lonely.

  2. The Greens Party ad Bob Brown stopped all the dam building in Australia. The Greens voters live in the inner city suburbs, are vegans and also anti vaxxers. All we need is some disease to come through.
