Gates of Vienna News Feed 6/23/2019

Back in March the candidate for the Turkish ruling party AKP lost in Istanbul’s mayoral election. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan invalidated the result and ordered a new election. Today the opposition party candidate, Ekrem Imamoglu, won again with 54% of the vote. This time Mr. Erdogan congratulated the winner.

In other news, Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini said that the Netherlands and the EU are responsible for the fate of migrants aboard a Dutch-flagged migrant-ferry ship that has been denied entry to Italian ports.

19 Arrests Later, A Texas Town is Torn Apart Over Voter Fraud

EDINBURG, Texas—The story that thrust a Rio Grande Valley city into the national spotlight is hardly a new anomaly, say residents such as Richard Monte.

“Down here, voter fraud is not all that unusual,” says Monte, a city planning consultant in a brown suit jacket, sitting with other activists at a table in Coffee Zone on McColl Road. “It’s unusual when they get prosecuted.”

Now, for this south Texas town, that unusual moment has arrived. A November 2017 mayoral election has been under scrutiny from local and state officials, and 19 arrests have been made over alleged voter fraud. The mayor—and winner of the 2017 election—was indicted earlier this month, along with his wife.

70 Arrested in Protest Outside New York Times Building

NEW YORK — Police say 70 climate change protesters were arrested after they blocked traffic outside the New York Times building.

The protesters from the group Extinction Rebellion hung banners on the skyscraper in midtown Manhattan on Saturday and on the outside of the Port Authority Bus Terminal across the street.

The protesters were taken into police custody after they lay down on Eighth Avenue and blocked traffic. Charges are pending.

Activist Priest Michael Pfleger Says Yo-Yo Ma Bailed on Concert Over Farrakhan Speech

The Pfleger file . . .

It’s showtime!

Not.

Father Michael Pfleger tells Sneed there’s been new fallout stemming from Minister Louis Farrakhan’s incendiary speech last month at St. Sabina Church, which drew rabid criticism from members of the Jewish community for “anti-Semitic” remarks.

Renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma’s third annual St. Sabina Concert for Peace sponsored by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and initially scheduled for Saturday night was canceled two weeks ago, according to Pfleger.

America: There Will be Blood

The Muslims’ killing campaign did not end with their defeat at the gates of Vienna. Jihadism never changes. The long history of violent Islam speaks for itself. It’s a major reason that explains why Eastern European citizens do not accept mass immigration of Muslim societies with the same kind of “tolerance” demanded by the elitist governments of Western Europe. Their fury is slowly reaching a boiling point.

Their eviction from Spain was a temporary forced retreat. But now Muslims have, in huge numbers, penetrated the gates of every city and town in Europe and North America without even having to use their swords.

Worried by the Muslims’ trouble-making and killing sprees, civilized nations in both Western Europe and Northern America, are bending over backward in hope of placating them to join the family of humanity by admitting hordes of immigrants and offering them all manners of hospitality and assistance. All these gestures remain in vain and to no avail. Many of the new arrivals, deeply infected by their Islamic indoctrination and ethos, find it impossible to assimilate in any host countries. Instead, they strive to impose their defunct order which is the cause of their own misery, backwardness and inhumanity on the host nations.

Black SUNY Prof: ‘Seeing Poor White People Makes Me Happy’

A professor of literature at SUNY Old Westbury says it makes him happy when he sees poor white people on the street begging for food or money.

Nicholas Powers writes in Race Baitr (the article has since been deleted, apparently) that “white people begging us for food feels like justice. It feels like Afro-Futurism after America falls. It feels like a Black Nationalist wet dream. It has the feels I rarely feel, a hunger for historical vengeance satisfied so well I rub my belly.”

Breaking: FBI Was Giving Different Intelligence Briefings to Candidate Trump Than to Candidate Clinton (Video)

The Democrats and liberal media insist that Russia wanted Trump to win over Crooked Hillary.

The entire premise is ridiculous. The Russians had enough dirt on Hillary to fill the White House.

The TRUTH is that the entire DC establishment including the Obama White House, the liberal media and the Obama Deep State wanted Hillary Clinton to win… and they worked tirelessly and illegitimately to make it happen.

And still failed.

On Sunday former prosecutory and Rep. Trey Gowdy joined Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures.

City of Secrets: Estimated 10,000 People in DC Are Spies

In WTOP’s three-part series “City of Secrets,” WTOP National Security Correspondent J.J. Green talks to some of the best in the espionage game to find how spies have infiltrated Washington, D.C., and what can be done to catch them.

Every day, in the predawn hours, long before official Washington, D.C. stirs from its slumber, the quiet rumble of transit begins deep beneath the city, in the streets, on its waterways and in the skies. It grows, hour by hour, to a full-blown symphony of organized chaos, punctuated by voices, horns, sirens and motorcades, as the city of 700,000 swells to more than one million.

Waves of civil servants, military and law enforcement officers, business people, students, diplomats and tourists saturate the city.

That is the scene on a typical weekday in the world’s most powerful city — whose business revolves around secret meetings, information and documents. Woven into that orderly bedlam are sophisticated networks of foreign nationals whose sole purpose is to steal secrets.

They are spies.

Defense Lawyer Reveals Why Millennial Navy Seals Set Up Chief Gallagher for Murder… They Were Only There “To Say They Were Seals”

The Daily Mail is now reporting that the defense attorney for the Navy SEAL on trial for murder and attempted murder at the Navy Base in San Diego, California has claimed his client has been set up by younger SEALs who hated his ‘old school’ ways.

‘This entire case was built on a small group of people that had personal animosity towards Eddie Gallagher,’ Parlatore said.

Parlatore added that they despised Gallagher for being an ‘old school, hard-charging warrior’.

The younger millennial SEALs were just there to say they were SEALs,’ the lawyer claimed.

Parlatore had told reporters prior to heading into court that the story is a big lie.

‘This is not a murder this is a mutiny,’ Parlatore charged. ‘This is a group of young disgruntled sailors that didn’t like being told that they were cowards and so they decided they conspired to take down the chief. They made up a story and that’s why we’re here.’

Democrats Lash Out at Millionaire Food-Stamp Whistleblower

Rob Undersander noticed several years back that income was the only criterion for receiving benefits from the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP), commonly known as food stamps.

A retired engineer with a seven-figure nest egg but no real income, Undersander decided to perform an experiment to determine if someone as well-off as he and his wife could obtain the benefits.

“I’ve got the [SNAP] form in my hand and I’m thinking of my financial situation, and I said ‘you know, I just can’t believe this,’“ Undersander told the Washington Free Beacon by phone earlier this week. “So I went down to the second floor of the Sterns County Courthouse, stood in line a little bit, handed in the application and three weeks later I’m getting food stamps, a balance on my EBT card.”

Democratic Aide Convicted of ‘Largest Data Theft in Senate History’

He was also convicted of obstruction of justice after attempting to silence a witness by threatening to release the private health information of a Senator’s children, bullying an individual into helping him ‘wipe down’ the scene of his burglaries, and attempting to destroy evidence in his apartment.

Jackson Cosko, a Democratic party IT consultant who carried out the “largest data theft in Senate history” as part of an “extraordinary” and “vicious” plot to harm Republicans by ‘doxxing’ them, has been sentenced to four years in prison.

Cosko, former aide to Senator Maggie Hassan and Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, committed “burglaries and sophisticated data theft offenses” over a period spanning several months, breaking into New Hampshire Senator Maggie Hassan’s office at night to steal data, mining the information for blackmail material and then maliciously publishing the home addresses and phone numbers of Republican senators Lindsay Graham, Orrin Hatch, Mike Lee, Rand Paul, and Mitch McConnell during the 2018 hearings for now-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

If Cosko’s actions weren’t shocking enough, the trial also revealed his activities were indirectly facilitated by a litany of failings by law enforcement and Democratic lawmakers…

That Cosko was even hired by the Senator in the first place is somewhat puzzling — he’d had repeated run-ins with law related to drug possession when he applied to be Hassan’s computer systems administrator in early 2017. Coincidentally, at the same time a scandal relating to congressional IT aides abusing their positions was just breaking in the media.

He was fired in May 2018 for reasons undisclosed — Cosko then hatched his plan to steal the office’s data, initially in order to extort a positive employment reference from Hassan.

Despite his acrimonious departure, Democratic congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas then gave him an unpaid position. It was during this period Cosko put his plan into action — he was also so heavily addicted to drugs and alcohol “the probation office indicated they’re surprised he wasn’t dead,” Judge Thomas Hogan said, although his epic illicit substance intake somehow went unnoticed in Jackson Lee’s congressional office.

Yeah…I suspect the above is the true reason this deplorable is not allowed on Harvard’s campus.

Inciting Violence? Antifa Anarchists Put Up Posters in D.C. With Tucker Carlson’s Home Address on Them

Another personal attack on Fox News’ Tucker Carlson happened tonight raising the question of whether the Antifa anarchists are planning more attacks on Carlson.

Antifa had previously harassed the Carlsons at their home last November and vandalized the home and car of the Fox News host. The Leftist Antifa mob shouted “racist scumbag leave town” and “we know where you sleep at night, we will fight.” The also yelled out, “No Borders, No Walls…No USA at all!”

Carlson’s wife was home at the time and had to hide in the house to call 911. Can you imagine?

Kagan Seethes as High Court Conservatives Deliver Property Rights Win

An ideologically divided Supreme Court delivered a victory for property owners Friday, over a vigorous dissent from Justice Elena Kagan that accused the conservative majority of smashing “a hundred-plus years of legal rulings to smithereens.”

The dissent noted Friday’s case was the second time this term that the conservative justices have overturned a controlling precedent, prompting Kagan to ask, forebodingly, which precedent the high court will overrule next.

NXIVM: Founder Found Guilty; Ties to Clinton and Other Prominent Democrats

On Wednesday, June 19, after just four hours of deliberation, a New York jury found Keith Raniere, 58, founder of the creepy NXIVM sex-cult, guilty on all counts — racketeering, racketeering conspiracy, wire fraud conspiracy, forced labor conspiracy, sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy and attempted sex trafficking. (Daily Mail)

Raniere now faces life in prison. His sentencing is scheduled for September 25 and he will continue to be held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn without bail…

Before Raniere was found guilty, his co-defendant accomplices already had pled guilty:

Clare Bronfman, 40, billionaire heiress who used her immense wealth to bankroll NXIVM’s activities, made a plea deal and pled guilty to racketeering conspiracy and conspiracy to commit identity theft. Allison Mack, “Smallville” actress, 36, made a plea deal and pled guilty to racketeering conspiracy, forced labor conspiracy, wire fraud conspiracy, sex trafficking conspiracy, sex trafficking, and attempted sex trafficking. Kathy Russell, NXIVM bookkeeper, 61, made a plea deal and pled guilty to racketeering conspiracy. Lauren Salzman, daughter of Nancy Salzman, 43, made a plea deal and pled guilty to racketeering conspiracy, forced labor conspiracy, and wire fraud conspiracy. Nancy Salzman, NXIVM co-founder and president, 64, pled guilty to racketeering conspiracy.

But NXIVM is more than a sadistic sex-cult. It also engaged in sex-trafficking of women and children, and had ties to Hillary Clinton and other prominent Democrats.

It appears Ilhan Omar may have filed fraudulent federal and state tax returns.

Regionalism is Communism

These well-meaning individuals who are recommending regionalism to solve financial and planning problems, have, through no fault of their own, been deliberately dumbed down (denied an education in the workings of our republican form of government which is the antithesis of the form of governance they are considering. I know “maleducation” is a fact due to an incident in 1974 when my son’s 11th grade public school teacher, a so-called “conservative” Republican, by the way, gave his class an assignment to write a paper on different forms of governance. My son wrote his paper on regional government and received a D for his politically incorrect effort. His conclusions, which were based on the scholarly research of the late Jo Hindman (The Metrocrats, Blame Metro, and Terrible 1313 Revisited, Caxton Printers, Ltd.) were that regional governance cannot coexist within a republican form of government since regional governance does away with or dilutes local representation and eliminates borders between towns, counties, states, and even countries. The latter can be observed in Europe with nations ceding their sovereignty and distinct cultures to the European Union (region), which former Soviet President Gorbachev enthusiastically refers to as the “New European Soviet”. Gorbachev also said in a speech to the Soviet Central Committee on November 2, 1987 “We are moving toward a new world, the world of communism. We shall never turn off that road.”

Regional Governance emanates from the United Nations, which was formed in 1945 by a majority of communists, and it is essential for United States participation in the world government (international redistribution of wealth socialist state) being implemented right now under our very noses. Example: European Union, NAFTA, GATT, and CAFTA.

In “The Globalists,The Power Elite Exposed”, page 304, Denis L. Cuddy, Ph.D, says “Most members of the European Union are already members of The Socialist International, and if other nations around the world can be moved toward socialism and regional economic arrangements, then these regional groupings can be more easily merged into a world socialistic government. This scenario is quite similar to the three-stage plan outlined by Stalin at the 1936 Communist International. At that meeting, the official program proclaimed: “Dictatorship can be established only by a victory of socialism in different countries or groups of countries,” after which there would be federal unions of the various groupings of these socialist countries, and the third stage would be an amalgamation of these regional federal unions into a world union of socialist nations.

Readers of this article are surely asking: “But she’s talking about Stalin and international regional government…what’s going on at the local county level has nothing to do with that. Anyway, Communism is dead.” The most incriminating evidence regarding regional government being communism is found in “Planning is Socialism’s Trademark” by Morris Zeitlin which appeared in the Communist Daily World, November 8, 1975. Zeitlin says “We (U.S.A.) have no regional government and no comprehensive regional planning to speak of. Regional government and planning remain concepts our urban scholars and planners have long advocated in vain…In socialist countries, metropolitan regions enjoy metropolitan regional government and comprehensive planning. Of the many regions on the vast territory of the Soviet Union the Moscow Region commands special attention, for it has been, since the 1917 Revolution, the country’s economic and political center. The economic and functional efficiencies and the social benefits that comprehensive national, regional and city planning make possible in socialist society explain the Soviet Union’s enormous and rapid economic and social progress. Conversely, our profit-oriented ruling capitalist class makes comprehensive social and economic planning impossible, causing waste and chaos and dragging the entire nation into misery and suffering as its rule deteriorates and declines.”

June 2019 is an “especially menacing time” for Christians both on the domestic and international fronts, writes Christian persecution expert John L. Allen in a report Sunday.

The U.S. Catholic Church is facing “one of the most serious potential violations of religious freedom in its history in the form of SB 360 in California,” writes Allen, author of the 2013 bestseller The Global War on Christians: Dispatches from the Front Lines of Anti-Christian Persecution, since the bill would compel priests to reveal information learned while hearing confessions as evidence against possible sex offenders.

Tucker Carlson Takes on ‘Highly Partisan’ And ‘Desperately Unhappy’ Media

The results of a recent research poll signify the astonishing resentment the American people have toward the press. According to the study, the vast majority of the country distrusts the liberal media. Talking heads at CNN and MSNBC dedicate their livelihoods to lambasting the duly elected President, yet they are puzzled as to why the population holds them in low standing.

During a segment on Friday’s Tucker Carlson Tonight with author Robby Soave of Reason Magazine, Fox News host Tucker Carlson wondered: “And so, the press is what it is. They have taken a highly partisan, very aggressive position against a sitting president, fine. Why not just admit it? Why lecture the rest of us about how they are objective?”

3 Years After Brexit Vote, Dire Warnings for UK Economy Have Proved Wrong

Pollsters had heart palpitations in June 2016 as the people of Great Britain voted to leave the European Union.

A dismayed media spouted speculative hysteria about the British economy that spread faster than a fire at a match factory. Three years after the June 23, 2016, referendum, however, the establishment in Westminster remains incapable of admitting it was wrong.

The reality is that the uncertainty surrounding Brexit has had little obvious effect on the British economy.

Despite doomsday predictions, the British economy since the Brexit vote has not lived down to Brexit opponents’ expectations and has managed to outperform and outrank the other large economies of the European Union.

5G: Bigger Hot Button Than I Thought

*Please note: If you are not aware of the dangers of 5G and what the term “5G” means, please read my last NewsWithViews.com article before reading this one, or you may not understand the terminology in this article.

I was surprised by the amount of response to my article on June 2, 2019 about the life-threatening dangers of 5G. Since then, a lot has happened.

At the time the article was published, the Brussels, Belgium, announcement rejecting 5G had just been made. Thus, it didn’t get much coverage.

Celine Fremault, the Minister of the Government of the Brussels-Capital Region with responsibility for Housing, Quality of Life, Environment and Energy said:

“I cannot welcome such technology if the radiation standards, which must protect the citizen, are not respected, 5G or not. The people of Brussels are not guinea pigs whose health I can sell at a profit. We cannot leave anything to doubt.”

How nice it would be if our politicians didn’t view us as guinea pigs when it comes to 5G.

“We intend to maintain constructive dialogue with the EU and I am clearly representing this determination at the European summits and with my counterparts”. The European Commission has said an infringement procedure against Italy would be justified for failing to respect the debt rule and told the government to reply to it this week giving the reasons why this may not be the case. But Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Matteo Salvini, who is on a high after his League party’s triumph at last month’s European elections, is pressing hard for tax cuts to give a “positive fiscal shock” to the sluggish Italian economy.

“The upcoming European summits will have to be up to the task of what is at stake in the coming years,” Conte told the House.

“Solutions cannot be put off and they must develop within a new strategy, which no longer sees growth as being in contrast with stability or solidarity in contrast with responsibility”.

The premier said Italy wants to respect the EU budget rules while, at the same time, leading a debate about “how to upgrade these rules so that the Union is equipped to tackle global, systemic financial crises and guarantee a real balance between stability and growth”.

He added that Italy wants to nominate a figure with a senior economic portfolio in the new European Commission.

Italy: EU Limits Help Berlin and Paris, Swindle Rest of us Says Salvini

Deputy premier confident Italy will be allowed ‘fiscal shock’

(see related story on Conte) (ANSA) — Rome, June 19 — Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Matteo Salvini said Wednesday that the EU’s budget rules were good for France and Germany but bad for the other States in the bloc. “There may be some in Europe who are scared of seeing Italy grow,” League leader Salvini said in a live Facebook broadcast.

“We must be able to compete on equal terms. Some European rules, some limits, were designed to help some people in Berlin and Paris and to swindle all the others”.

The European Commission has said an infringement procedure against Italy would be justified for failing to respect the debt rule and told the government to reply to it this week giving the reasons why this may not be the case. But Salvini, who is on a high after his League party’s triumph at last month’s European elections, is pressing hard for tax cuts to give a “positive fiscal shock” to the sluggish Italian economy.

“I am sure that the European Union will allow Italy to grow,” Salvini said.

“We don’t have ignorant, foolish governments (here) any more.

“We are working day and night to deliver a fiscal shock — cuts to taxes, cuts to bureaucracy, more investment.

“I don’t want a country that walks, I want a country that runs. “It is necessary to have better salaries and cut taxes”.

The Politicisation of the Gilets Jaunes

by Sophie Perryer

Jacline Mouraud sits before her computer screen, recording a video message to post to her handful of Facebook friends. “I have two little things to say to Mr Macron and his government. When will this attack on drivers end that you have put in place since you have been in office?” she demands. “I have made a little list of what we have suffered since you have been there, and we are fed up to the back teeth.”

The 52-year-old Bretonne native continues in that same vein for four-and-a-half minutes, lambasting French President Macron’s planned ‘green fuel tax’ as an assault on the common Frenchman.

Her diatribe certainly hit home — the video, which was posted to Facebook in October last year, garnered more than six million views in less than a month. It also catapulted Mouraud into the spotlight as one of the original exponents of the Gilets Jaunes, a grassroots revolutionary movement that are behind some of France’s most violent protest action in recent history…

The Suicide of France

“Regarding France in 2019, it can no longer be denied that a momentous and hazardous transformation, a ‘Great Switch’, is in the making”, observed the founder and president of the Jean-Jacques Rousseau Institute, Michel Gurfinkiel. He was mourning “the passing of France as a distinct country, or at least as the Western, Judeo-Christian nation it had hitherto been presumed to be”. A recent cover story in the weekly Le Point called it “the great upheaval”.

Switch or upheaval, the days of France as we knew it are numbered: the society has lost its cultural center of gravity: the old way of life is fading and close to “extinction”. “Frenchness” is disappearing and being replaced by a kind balkanization of enclaves not communicating with one another. For the country most affected by Islamic fundamentalism and terrorism, this is not a good recipe.

Thousands of ISIS Sleeper Cells ‘Could Attack Britain’ In Revenge for the Fall of the ‘Caliphate’ In Syria

Thousands of ISIS sleeper cells could be ready to launch revenge attacks on Britain in response to the fall of the ‘caliphate’ in Syria, it has been warned.

Fighters still loyal to ISIS following its destruction at the hands of Kurdish-led forces are now thought to be prepared to continue the fight on Western soil.

That was the warning issued by the Syrian Democratic Forces, which said ‘thousands of sleepers’ had disappeared and fallen from its radar falling ISIS’s defeat in Syria.

It is feared tens of thousands of ‘Cubs of the Caliphate’ currently in refugee camps could join the next generation of ISIS fighters ready to strike back at its enemies.

UK: Delingpole: Three Years Ago We Voted Brexit. Here’s the Real Reason We Haven’t Yet Got It…

Brexit was a binary decision. We voted Leave and there’s an end to it. No more can you be half in and half out of Europe than you can be half pregnant.

The idea that somewhere out there is some ingenious fudge whereby Britain gets Brexit but in such a way as to keep all the Remoaner losers on side was always one so stupid and dishonest that only a Remainer could have thought of it.

That’s because Remainers did think of it.

Every bad idea about Brexit that has emerged since the EU Referendum is essentially the product of Remainer holdouts who don’t merely disagree with the Brexit result but who actively want to overturn it.

Hard Brexit? A dishonest concept, fomented by the BBC, to conjure up the false notion that leaving the EU Single Market and Customs Union is so radical, nay extreme, that the sensible course is to water it down and make it softer.

No Deal? A deliberately negative phrase — the clue is in that first word — cooked up in order to suggest, falsely, that instead of simply telling Brussels we’re leaving, like it or lump it, it’s far better to go cap in hand to Michel Barnier, Jean Claude-Juncker, and Guy Verhofstadt and beg them for permission.

UK: NHS Founder’s Relative Died After Neglect by Hospital Trusts

A relative of Nye Bevan, the founder of the NHS, died after serious mistakes by two hospital trusts meant his lung cancer went from treatable to incurable, the Guardian can reveal.

Roderick Bevan would have survived but for the failure of two sets of doctors to tell him for more than a year that he had the disease, blunders that amounted to “neglect”, a coroner has ruled.

The deceased was a great-nephew of the health minister in the postwar Labour government who is widely revered for his role in driving through the creation of the health service in 1948.

Roderick Bevan died in May 2018 after NHS doctors diagnosed his lung cancer after a scan but did not ensure that he then underwent stereotactic ablative radiotherapy — treatment that if he had had it at the time was expected to cure him. The retired caretaker, who lived in Grantham in Lincolnshire, was 66 when he died. A catalogue of blunders meant that he was never offered the radiotherapy.

We Won’t Let EU Stop Italy Growing — Salvini

Deputy premier rules out corrective budget

(see related story on Conte) (ANSA) — Rome, July 21 — Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Matteo Salvini on Friday ruled out the possibility that the government could pass an additional corrective budget to avert the threat of Italy facing an EU infringement procedure. “We won’t allow anyone in Brussels to stop the country’s growth,” League leader Salvini said at a finance police event. “There will be no corrective budget”.

Boosted the League party’s triumph in May’s European elections, Salvini is pushing for the government to keep a pledge to introduce a two-tier ‘flat tax’ in order to give the sluggish Italian economy a “positive fiscal shock”.

“At least 10 billion euros are needed (for the flat tax), let’s make it 15,” he said.

Qatar’s Web of Geopolitical Relationships Threaten Its Stability

by Daniel Davis

The Iranian nuclear debacle may have replaced Qatar as the topic du jour in the Middle East, but if the pressure on Doha has changed, it has only worsened. Qatar’s already-complicated relationship with its neighbors and the United States leave it in political limbo, unable to entirely control its own fate yet also unable to sit back and idly watch from the sidelines.

In 2017, Saudi Arabia and the UAE successfully convinced the other members of the Gulf Cooperation Council to cut all diplomatic ties with the miniscule nation. They argued, and still maintain, that Doha is to blame for the spread of terrorism. Citing Qatar’s support for the Muslim Brotherhood in particular, the G.C.C. painted a portrait of the small nation as the world’s leading exporter of terror. Although Qatar admitted that it had, at times, given financial backing to the Muslim Brotherhood — a group that is actually a political party in Jordan — it denied all claims that it supported Daesh or al-Qaeda.

Doha’s official response is that Saudi Arabia doesn’t approve of Qatar — Iran relations, and considering the evidence, that seems to be the more pressing concern that Saudi Arabia and the UAE share. It was far more politically expedient to lambast Qatar as a terrorist-backer than to unravel the intricacies of its relationship with Iran. On the global stage, it’s easier to sell the idea, and the urgency of it, that Qatar is to blame for the region’s terrorism struggles. Looking at the matter more closely, however, it becomes clear that Iran is the main sticking point, as evidenced in a list of demands the GCC states delivered to Qatar…

Political Chaos in Mali: Fulani: Dogon and Tuareg Tribal Clashes Continue

by Daniel Davis

Internal conflict continues to threaten security and democracy in Mali. The African nation is reeling from a series of attacks between the Fulani and Dogon tribal communities. In March, an armed Dogon group massacred 160 Fulani; in what appeared to be a retaliatory move, the Fulani attacked a Dogon village on June 9, leaving only 50 of the villages 300 inhabitants alive.

Despite a U.N. peacekeeping mission and considerable effort by French military forces, the government of Mali has struggled to control regional in-fighting since 2012. The government’s inability to maintain order compelled the prime minister and his government to resign in April alongside calls for the president’s resignation.

At the heart of the conflict is the terrorist group known as Jama’a Nusrat ul-Islam wa al-Muslimin (JNIM). The organization is the latest stage of a series of mergers between Mali ethnic militias and al-Qaeda affiliates. Understanding how JNIM came to be is vital to comprehending the ongoing battle to rein in the violence.

Mali is a polarized nation predominantly comprised of 10 major ethnic groups. Of these groups, Fulani is the second-largest, followed closely by Dogon. Roughly 1 percent of the population also belongs to the Tuareg group who are ethnically outcast as Berber people, contrasting with the Sub-Saharan blood of most other Mali ethnicities.

Naturally, this has created some difficulties. The Tuareg society which lives in Northern Mali has made several pushes for independence over the past few decades, prompting two peace accords and more autonomy for the north. The most recent agreement, brokered in 2006, was unable to satiate the Tuareg desires for complete independence. Barely a year later, Tuareg rebels began abducting government soldiers and soon, armed clashes became commonplace once more.

Riding the coattails of the Arab Spring movement, Malian military officers carried out a coup in 2012, reasoning that the government was ineffective at combating the Tuareg rebels. At the same time, the Tuaregs formed a group known as the National Movement for the Liberation of Azawad (MNLA) which quickly became overrun by the al-Qaeda group known as al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM).

A few years later, a Fulani group known as the Macina Liberation Front (MLF) began attacking the government. The MLF’s rationale quickly became clear as it merged with AQIM in 2017 to form JNIM. This mega group combines all the elements of terrorism with domestic hostilities, each feeding off the other. Specifically, this terror group is pressing the government for the removal of international forces, such as U.N. peacekeepers and French militias which initially repelled Tuareg rebels. Of course, JNIM also seeks to impose Sharia Law.

Critically, JNIM attacks have been carried out all across central Mali in a clear attempt to incite violence and feelings of disdain for the government. Notably, JNIM focuses its attacks on security forces such as government outposts and military patrols. Taken together with rogue Fulani groups such as the one that attacked the Dogon village, JNIM continues to threaten an already instable government.

Tuareg rebels were not satisfied by two prior peace arrangements, so the rebel insurrection in the north continues. Fulani and Dogon factions continue their tit-for-tat attacks leaving villages razed and Malians brutally murdered. To cap it all off, JNIM thrives on the chaos by selling drugs and trafficking people, along with recruiting other radicals to its cause.

The situation in Mali is still salvageable, but the new government must be willing to make concessions to ethnic groups such as the Tuareg and come down harshly against rebel forces. Already, nearly 15,000 U.N. forces are deployed to the nation alongside 4,500 French troops. The Malian people are weary of the violence and most just want to see an end it to it all, regardless of the political outcome.

The greatest issue, aside from squashing JNIM and rogue militias, the Malian government faces is how to handle the Tuareg independence movement. In essence, this underlying issue sparked all of the troubles Mali now faces and the government’s inability to effectively deal with it only exacerbated the problem. One solution might be to allocate more legislative seats to the Tuareg people and more resources — northern Mali has historically been the poorest region. Investing in infrastructure and building up the populace may help alleviate the infighting, but first Mali must take a hard stance on security. Without security, no measure the government takes will be sufficient in the long run.

Dutch Should Intervene on Sea-Watch Salvini Tells Conte

UNHCR urges Italy to let rescued migrants land on Lampedusa

(ANSA) — Rome, June 21 — Interior Minister Matteo Salvini on Friday wrote to Premier Giuseppe Conte reiterating his ‘closed ports’ policy and saying that the Netherlands should deal with the Sea-Watch 3, which has been stuck in international waters south of Lampedusa for nine days with 43 rescued migrants aboard.

Salvini, who is also deputy premier and leader of the anti-migrant League party, said “a fresh energetic initiative of sensibilisation” was needed towards the Netherlands, given that the ship, which is run by a German NGO, flies a Dutch flag.

Meanwhile the UNHCR, the UN refugee agency, again urged Italy to let the Sea-Watch migrants land on Lampedusa.

“These desperate people must be disembarked, it is an obligation sanctioned by international norms,” said UNHCR spokesman Babar Baloch.

“Italy has a responsibility to let these people land,” said Baloch.

“None of them must return”, he said, to war-torn Libya which has no internationally recognised ports of safety.

Salvini has vowed that “none of them will land in Italy”.

He reiterated Friday, after the UNHCR appal, that “the interior ministry decides who gets into Italy”.

Italy: Sea Watch Catania Case Shelved — Salvini

Jan case ‘wasn’t kidnapping but request for order’

(ANSA) — Rome, June 21 — A Catania probe into Interior Minister Matteo Salvini for allegedly kidnapping migrants aboard the Sea-Watch3 NGO rescue ship in January has been shelved, Salvini said Friday.

“Trials and investigations don’t scare me, but I’m happy that the magistracy, too, confirms that we can close the ports to pirate ships.

“I’ll continue to defend the borders”.

The cases against Premier Giuseppe Conte, Deputy Premier Luigi Di Maio and Transport Minister Danilo Toninelli, who had stood in solidarity with Salvini, were also dismissed.

Multiple Fingers Pointing at Alleged Leaker of Plans for ICE Raids Today

The chronic problem of sabotage by bureaucrats hostile to the outsider president shaking up the Deep State will never be solved until unmasking and punishment become the order of the day. That’s why it is so heartening that with unusual swiftness, accusations are pointing to the alleged identity of a leaker who successfully delayed implementation of a key Trump policy initiative, the planned ICE raids on illegal alien scofflaws who have defied court orders for theior deportation.

This exercise will — if the allegations are sustained by evidence — help establish a norm of exposing the rat finks that could discourage future saboteurs.

Leaks to multiple media outlets, first reported by the Washington Post, exposed plans for ICE raids on illegal aliens who have gone through the appeals process and ignored court orders for their deportation. As a result, following strong Democrat protests, implementation of the plan has been delayed by two weeks.

Abortion, LGBT Activists Disrupt Vatican Women Footballers’ Debut

By Anian Christoph Wimmer

Vienna, Austria, Jun 23, 2019 / 08:10 am (CNA).- The international debut of the Vatican women’s football team, which was scheduled to play in a friendly against the Vienna FC Mariahilf Saturday, was cancelled after abortion and LGBT activists disrupted the game before it began, local media reported.

According to several local media reports, players of the Viennese soccer team Mariahilf lifted their jerseys whilst the Vatican anthem was playing, displaying painted ovaries and pro-abortion messages. Activists also displayed LGBT banners on the sidelines at the venue.

The Vatican team, who had been invited to Vienna by FCM, decided not to go ahead with the June 22 match.

The Apostolic Nuncio in Austria, Pedro Lopez Quintana, witnessed the protests but was not involved in the decision to cancel the game, local media reported.

The friendly was scheduled to kick off in the early afternoon in a sports arena in Wien-Simmering. Beforehand, both sides had participated in a prayer service and blessing of the pitch.

Austrian state broadcaster ORF quoted one of the FCM players involved in the protest as saying the activists were “not aware of the consequences of their action in any way and would have liked to play the football match”.

The activists also handed out leaflets to journalists attending the match. These stated that the activists did not assent to the Church’s teaching on abortion and same-sex marriage.

“They were not aware that the timing of the action during the playing of the Vatican anthem and in the presence of the Apostolic Nuncio could be detrimental to the idea of sport and ruin many weeks of preparation”, reported the ORF.

When announcing the upcoming game, the German section of Vatican News reported FCM founder Ernst Lackner as saying he had initially not expected that the Vatican team would really accept the invitation, but that the Archbishop of Vienna, Cardinal Christoph Schönborn, had assured the Vatican team that FC Mariahilf was a serious team that was also strongly committed to charity.

The papal women’s football team had its first appearance in 2018 and immediately received an invitation from FCM, which is currently playing in the Wiener Landesliga, the third highest league in domestic women’s football.

Outrage as University Strips Name of Lillian Gish From Campus Theater

The “First Lady of American Cinema” Lillian Gish has had her name removed from a university theater and it’s not sitting well with many movie buffs. More than 50 film industry leaders ranging from Martin Scorsese to Helen Mirren to James Earl Jones are protesting the decision of Ohio’s Bowling Green State University to remove the name of actress Lillian Gish from a campus theater because she appeared in the 1915 film The Birth of a Nation.

Prager: Did Your Child Return From College a Better Person?

My belief is that most of the time, colleges today produce a worse human being or, at the very least, a person who is no better, wiser or more mature than when he or she graduated high school.

Let’s begin with behavioral issues.

There is a good chance your son or daughter will have spent much of his or her free time at college partying, which often means getting drunk, smoking marijuana and hooking up with someone for casual sex. While none of those activities necessarily means your son or daughter became a worse human being, all of us can agree that none of them made your child a better one.

Regarding college drinking, Alcohol Rehab Guide, an online alcohol addiction site, reports:

Rooftop Snipers Protect LGBTD Grooming Children

SPOKANE, Wash 6/19/19 Through the persuasion of Satan, an LGBTD* event, at a Washington Public Library allowed a “Drag Queen Story Hour” to take place there for children. A Drag Queen is a perverted man who wears bizarre women’s clothing along with thick freakish makeup that would anger any circus clown. These cross dressers read stories to kids, such as a child having two mommies or two daddies. This gives new meaning to the term, Fairy Tales. Make no mistake, they are messengers with a mission.

One drag queen, who goes by the name of Katie Rockswell, read a book to the children entitled; “A Family is a Family is a Family.” The short story is about children having different parental situations, as some have a mom and dad, some have two ‘dads,’ some live with their grandmother, and some are split between both parents. It is indoctrination all the way.

There were those present at the library who protested this event and they were ordered to stay across the street from the library. Wait, isn’t that library a public place? How can those who want to enter be blocked since our tax money supports the library? It is for the public. The rough military style police threatened those who would not go across the street as ordered, and employed Swat Team roof top snipers to protect the sodomite cross dressers who teach children the joy of perversion. And they were prepared to shoot anyone who interfered with this nut-headed event. The area looked like a war zone. Actually it WAS one war zone of many.

A Baptist Preacher, Afhsin Yaghtin, would not go across the street and was promptly and roughly arrested by these gestapos. This pastor had a free speech right to speak at that facility. He was taken into custody and charged with obstructing the police and trying to enter the non-designated protest area. So the police protect the LGBTD crowd and persecute all others. This is a bit backward…

“The police presence was a little ridiculous,” said Anna Bohach of ‘500 Mom Strong’. “They had snipers on the roofs with binoculars. They wouldn’t allow us into the library.” The newspapers reported that 50 children attended with their knuckle headed parents who should be kicked in the buttocks for taking their children to such a sick event.

Scandal in Vienna: Vatican Footballers Did Not Appear in Protest

Vienna — It came to an at least small scandal on Saturday in Vienna-Simmering. The planned debut of the women’s football team of the Vatican against FC Mariahilf burst because the guest troupe in protest against political messages no longer wanted to compete. As several users wrote on Twitter, the Viennese had set signs against homophobia and apparently also for the right to abortion.

As the ORF radio station FM4 wrote on Twitter, Mariahilf players are likely to play during the anthem Have unveiled “Pro Choice” messages under their shirts. Furthermore, a banner labeled “Football Rules — not gender roles” was placed on the court. In addition, rainbow symbols were used to support the LGBT movement, including rainbow flags as corner flags.

The game was canceled after the Vatican team had not come to the field after the warm-up. The Vatican women should have given their international debut on Saturday on invitation. The team, consisting of Vatican staff members and members of Vatican staff, had been invited by FC Mariahilf. The club from the Wiener Landesliga celebrated its 20th anniversary on June 22.

Nuntius allegedly ordered a retreat

– APA [19659012] According to an ORF online report, the representative of the pope in Austria, Nuncio Pedro Lopez Quintana, was responsible for the withdrawal of the Vatican team. An official of the Vatican team visited the nuncio in the VIP tent, “followed by a visibly emotional conversation and the nuncio leaves with his companions the place,” it said on religion.orf.at.

Some Austrian women athletes would have theirs before Jerseys were pulled up “and ovaries painted on their bellies, as well as messages for the legalization of abortion showcased”. Leaflets were distributed to journalists present. The activists based their actions on the church’s position on same-sex marriage and its rejection of abortion. A participating Mariahilf player reported that the women were not aware of the consequences of their action. (APA)

Vatican All But Wipes Out Conservative Order of Nuns for ‘Too Much Prayer’

June 7, 2019 (LifeSiteNews.com) — All but five of the 39 Little Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Redeemer, a conservative French religious order, have been relieved of their vows by the Vatican after refusing to submit to a group of Vatican-appointed commissioners led by a habitless liberal nun who wanted to impose “modern orientations” on the group, in the sister’s words.

The 34 nuns, who dress in traditional habits and care for the disabled and elderly in four different nursing homes, have been asked to relinquish their facilities and their religious dress now that they are no longer considered members of their institute. The fate of the nursing homes and their residents is now in question.

The ruling comes from the Holy See’s Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, which oversees religious orders and institutes, led by Cardinal João Braz de Aviz. Previous attempts by the sisters to overturn the congregation’s rulings against them by appealing to the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura have failed, with the court reportedly dismissing their case without allowing them to fully present their arguments.

“Having looked to remaining faithful, as much to the Church as to the charism granted by Our Lord to Mother Marie de la Croix, having tried to find, many many times, a path of dialogue with Rome, having offered peaceful solutions, no agreement having been found, the authorities in Rome in charge of the Consecrated Life have now decided to choose to release us from our religious vows,” the sisters announced on June 3, following the issuance of the decision on May 23.

“Whilst it is true that in the context of the moral pressure and the impasse that we found ourselves in, we were driven, last October, against our profound wishes, to ask to be released from our vows, since no other solution had ever been offered to enable us to remain in communion with the Church: we are profoundly wounded by this and remain sadly surprised that Rome has preferred to accept that request rather than accepting the peaceful solutions which we had put forward and which were possible,” the sisters added.

The lay-led Association in Support of the Little Sisters denounced the decision as a “grievous injustice” and blamed the bishop of the Diocese of Laval, Thierry Scherrer, for a personal vendetta against the group’s conservative mother superior that has now led to the destruction of the order.

“Mgr Scherrer wanted the head of the Superior General on a platter,” wrote the association. “An entire Congregation has been destroyed!”

“This unjust and violent decision gives rise to grave damage both moral and material to the Little Sisters of Mary who have given their lives in the service of the Church, in perfect fidelity to their religious vocation,” they add.

According to their lay supporters, the sisters were accused of a variety of offenses against modern sensibilities, including engaging in “too much prayer,” the use of the traditional habits, “deviant authoritarianism,” being “too classical” in their thinking, and being “unmoving” in their adherence to the charism of their institute. They also say the commissioners tried to turn the sisters against each other, offering prestigious positions in the order if they would conform to the commissioner’s authority, but their tactics failed. When the nuns refused to admit the commissioners, they were threatened with excommunication and requested to be relieved of their vows to avoid that outcome.

The support association says the decision to relieve the sisters of their vows instead of working out a solution with them came at the behest of Sr. Geneviève Médevielle, the principal apostolic commissioner named by the Vatican. Médevielle is a religious sister who dresses in lay clothing and wears a short haircut without a head covering. She is a professor of ethics at the Catholic Institute of Paris and the author of the recently published book Migrants, Francis, and us. Médevielle writes in defense of Amoris Laetitia against “conservatives and traditionalists” who criticize it.

The nuns were also reportedly under attack by the archbishop of Toulouse, Robert Le Gall, who prohibited one of the nuns’ houses from attending their more traditional form of Mass in their community chapel, apparently following their refusal to participate in Le Gall’s mass at the nursing home chapel due to their rejection of his liturgical practices.

“Authoritarianism” and “moral harassment” from Church authorites led to destruction

The sisters’ support association is threatening to undertake legal measures against those who have brought about the destruction of the institute as an act of “moral harassment,” which is actionable under French law. The association promised that “as a matter of justice legitimate actions will be undertaken against those responsible, whatever their involvement, to obtain redress and to reveal the entire truth about this affair.”

The French Catholic newspaper La Croix further reported yesterday that the sisters “today are threatening Sister Geneviève Medevielle with a lawsuit for moral harassment.”

“It was with an authoritarianism and in a context of moral harassment, initiated by the Bishop of Laval, Mgr Scherrer, that the ecclesiastical authorities preferred to reduce the Little Sisters of Mary the Redeemer to the lay state, on 23rd May 2019, rather than opting for a peaceful solution, repeatedly proposed by the Little Sisters, but never really considered by the Congregation in Rome!” the support association declares on its website.

Our suffering enables us to live our vocation more fully, say sisters

The sisters, for their part, say they will continue to live their life of prayer and see their suffering as enabling them to live their vocation even more deeply.

“Certainly, we have not lived through these two sorrowful years in order to lose the treasure which is for us the charism received from Mother Marie de la Croix. We want to continue to live together, in a life of prayer and service. Ecce!” the sisters write.

“Paradoxically and mysteriously, we live perhaps more than ever perhaps what is at the heart of our vocation: following in the way of Our Lady, to take our part of suffering in the fulfilment of the plan of our Redemption, in reparation, for the saving of souls, for the sanctification of priests, for the Church so damaged by all sorts of scandals, for the world. If Christ, our souls’ spouse, judges us worthy of carrying such a Cross, we must render thanks to him, in all things.”

Requests for comment from the Holy See were not answered by publication time.

Scary Fast: The Global Hypersonic Arms Race That Will Change Warfare Forever

Hypersonic missiles — which travel at more than 15 times the speed of sound — are touching off a new global arms race that threatens to change the nature of warfare.

Griffin was referring to a revolutionary new type of weapon, one that would have the unprecedented ability to maneuver and then to strike almost any target in the world within a matter of minutes. Capable of traveling at more than 15 times the speed of sound, hypersonic missiles arrive at their targets in a blinding, destructive flash, before any sonic booms or other meaningful warning. So far, there are no surefire defenses. Fast, effective, precise and unstoppable — these are rare but highly desired characteristics on the modern battlefield. And the missiles are being developed not only by the United States but also by China, Russia and other countries…

The arrival of such fast weaponry will dangerously compress the time during which military officials and their political leaders — in any country — can figure out the nature of an attack and make reasoned decisions about the wisdom and scope of defensive steps or retaliation. And the threat that hypersonics pose to retaliatory weapons creates what scholars call “use it or lose it” pressures on countries to strike first during a crisis. Experts say that the missiles could upend the grim psychology of Mutual Assured Destruction, the bedrock military doctrine of the nuclear age that argued globe-altering wars would be deterred if the potential combatants always felt certain of their opponents’ devastating response.

And yet decision makers seem to be ignoring these risks. Unlike with previous leaps in military technology — such as the creation of chemical and biological weapons and ballistic missiles with multiple nuclear warheads — that ignited international debate and eventually were controlled through superpower treaty negotiations, officials in Washington, Moscow and Beijing haven’t seriously considered any sort of accord limiting the development or deployment of hypersonic technology. In the United States, the State Department’s arms-control bureau has an office devoted to emerging security challenges, but hypersonic missiles aren’t one of its core concerns. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s deputies say they primarily support making the military’s arsenal more robust, an unusual stance for a department tasked with finding diplomatic solutions to global problems.

This position worries arms-control experts like Thomas M. Countryman, a career diplomat for 35 years and former assistant secretary of state in the Obama administration.

“This is not the first case of a new technology proceeding through research, development and deployment far faster than the policy apparatus can keep up,” says Countryman, who is now chairman of the Arms Control Association.

Now I am visiting my mother in Crimea. How many Islamists have become here lately. In addition to the local Crimean Tatars, Volga Tatars and many Caucasians-Salafists appeared. In the window heard the Muslim call – adhan. Good it all does not end.

  2. Netherlands and Germany are behind this migration scam trip from Libya. They let Soros and others financial scammers to send their human smugglers across the sea.

At this point someone should cut the funds to such a harmful organization or the COE should cut its funds to the ECHR.

It is not possibile to go on with this trips again and again for ever.

    • “international socialist masonry (huh?) humanitarian religion”???

Hope the tinfoil hat is a good fit, robyt.

      • You should not disbelieve in our masters, the advancement and elevation of human kind is on the right path by the aid of the humanitarian creed. The universal human rights chart is an accomplishments of our masonry frères. We need to enforce the compliement to the international ECHR verdicts. 🙂

        • Well. I’ve (knowingly) known two Masons, my late father and my brother-in-law, both thoroughly decent people, so maybe you have a point.

  3. “I cannot welcome such technology if the radiation standards, which must protect the citizen, are not respected, 5G or not. The people of Brussels are not guinea pigs whose health I can sell at a profit. We cannot leave anything to doubt.” well that’s nice and all, but they still left all the rest of Europe and the West to be guinea pigs, this might as well be to keep Juncker and them safe in Brussels…

    • They are hiding the elephant in the room – that 5G is primarily the total end of privacy. I suppose the health effects are an issue too, but it is the lesser issue – at least in the minds of spies that work on the propaganda.
