The Blind Men and the Elephant in the Room

With the European parliamentary elections rapidly approaching, and after today’s reports that Prime Minister Theresa May will seek a vote in the House of Commons on a second Brexit referendum, Seneca III sends these thoughts on the apocalyptic state of affairs in Modern Multicultural Britain.

The Blind Men and the Elephant in the Room

By Seneca III

The global war of minds continues unabated in virtually every sphere of our lives, always under the dark shadow of the elephant in the room.

For example, four top Western generals recently met at Sandhurst to debate items that change the essential character of war: the utility of autonomous weapons, the possibilities of pharmacological enhancement of soldiers, and the enduring importance of deception. It is reported that the discussion was held in a context in which each of them indicated the tension between military advantage and ethical constraints.

Why anyone would think there should be ethical constraints in a war against global Islam, which does not recognise such restraints in any way at all, is beyond me. The purpose of war is to ensure one’s own survival, and only total war seen through to victory can guarantee that. But, as always, at the end of the day policy is determined by politicians, as determined by their interests and those of their financial backers, not those of the body politic they were elected to serve.

In Westminster the current malignant proclivities of our parliamentarians, all of them, reminds me of a Wagnerian opera, where just before the gods marched into Valhalla it was said that it would end in Götterdämmerung… the destruction of the gods and of all things in a final battle with evil powers. The ongoing persecution of elderly veterans from wars long gone, wars which they were sent to fight according to the policies of the government of the day, is a living example of this process.

Thus, a problem I now foresee is that when the reality of their failing position and future prospects finally sinks in, the political classes will throw to the wind any sense of probity and decency they may have left and adopt a scorched-earth policy on their way out, doing even more damage to our democratic processes, our national security and the integrity of parliament than they already have, and leave us with nothing but the elephant in the room — that is why men and women of the indigenous ethnic majority must be able to decide on their own values and priorities and negotiate with others of the same to mutual benefit. When negotiation with invaders and their enablers is no longer an option, when that collection of deconstructionists is irrevocably determined to prevail in its interests alone, irrespective of ours, another dynamic enters human affairs from stage right.

That essential dynamic, freedom, is, above all other things, the most expensive, for it requires of us a willingness to confront those who would deprive us of that freedom — these days under the guise of ‘refugee’, asylum seeker’, ‘human rights’, ‘multiculturalism’ or those other moronic epithets bandied around with manic ferocity when anyone has the temerity to question the veracity of this evil nonsense — ‘Fascist!’, ‘Far Right’ and ‘Racist’. This is what unavoidably places us in the forefront of the battle ready to fight them to their death, for on that path is found the only way we can pass what is left of our freedom on to our children and grandchildren with any sense of surety.

Let there be no doubt about it — a willingness to risk sacrificing oneself for the greater good is a tribal survival trait that evolution has hardwired into our DNA for good reason. If we, in our current state of affluent moral and cultural decay, cast that eternal gift to the winds, we do so at our ultimate peril. Our tribe will thereafter cease to exist.

So how has this come about, you may be asking? The answer is the moral and cultural depredations of that insidious mind-worm Political Correctness. For example, I have for some time noted that Farage and TBP (The Brexit Party) are often excoriated in certain patriotic media for not mentioning or openly opposing Islamisation in any or all of its primitive manifestations in the UK and throughout Europe. Such critics are not thinking clearly nor with any deep understanding of how the ‘Long March Through the Institutions’ has made truth and fact not only hard to find but impossible to publicly debate, because freedom of speech no longer exists. To broach that subject now would be political and social suicide. The cacophony of screeching, wailing, tears and demonisation coming from the metropolitan chatterati, the brainwashed infants of academia, the police-supported Antifa thugocracy and the traitors in parliament would render any calm, rational dialectic an impossibility.

In the current UK Politically Correct climate it is not a matter of what is said, but of what cannot be said or even alluded to. ‘Current’ is the key word here, and a manumitted future must wait a little while longer… but only a little.

However, there is evidence that those who support TBP, as well as many supporters of different parties, may have their own perspective on this matter, and that perspective frequently manifests both openly and obliquely in many online comment sections and private conversations. There can be no doubt that the Muslim problem transcends all other concerns in the long run, and just about anybody with more than two neurons to rub together understands, even if only at a subliminal level, that sooner or later it is going to have to be neutralised or removed with extreme prejudice and total ruthlessness.

Thus, patience and one step at a time should be everyone’s watchwords in the short term, because this survival fight is going to be a long campaign and each battle therein must be fought and won (with whatever weapons are available or quickly manufactured) in the isolation of its specific time and place, never forgetting the elephant in the room… whatever label is put on it, whatever excuses are put forward to ameliorate its depredations, no matter how many spurious ‘deradicalisation’ projects are set up to bleed the public purse to no avail, it remains Islam in all its primitive, brutal, atrocity-riven grotesquery. Everything else is a chimera depending on individual perspectives, as Saxe so eloquently put it in his poem ‘The Blind Men and the Elephant’, below.

It was six men of Indostan
To learning much inclined,
Who went to see the Elephant
(Though all of them were blind),
That each by observation
Might satisfy his mind.

The First approached the Elephant,
And happening to fall
Against his broad and sturdy side,
At once began to bawl:
“God bless me!—but the Elephant
Is very like a wall!”

The Second, feeling of the tusk,
Cried: “Ho!—what have we here
So very round and smooth and sharp?
To me ‘t is mighty clear
This wonder of an Elephant
Is very like a spear!”

The Third approached the animal,
And happening to take
The squirming trunk within his hands,
Thus boldly up and spake: “I see,” quoth he, “the Elephant
Is very like a snake!”

The Fourth reached out his eager hand,
And felt about the knee.
“What most this wondrous beast is like
Is mighty plain,” quoth he;
“‘T is clear enough the Elephant
Is very like a tree!”

The Fifth, who chanced to touch the ear,
Said: “E’en the blindest man
Can tell what this resembles most;
Deny the fact who can,
This marvel of an Elephant
Is very like a fan!”

The Sixth no sooner had begun
About the beast to grope,
Then, seizing on the swinging tail
That fell within his scope,
“I see,” quoth he, “the Elephant
Is very like a rope!”

And so these men of Indostan
Disputed loud and long,
Each in his own opinion
Exceeding stiff and strong,
Though each was partly in the right,
And all were in the wrong!

So, oft in theologic wars
The disputants, I ween,
Rail on in utter ignorance
Of what each other mean,
And prate about an Elephant
Not one of them has seen!

  1. Can England have a referendum on kicking out May from the country and making her a non citizen ?

    • [In my opinion], democracy as we know it is dead. What comes next will be along the lines of Franco or the It[alian] version, Mussolini, or a return of Kings to the thrones of Europe and a massive purge with a rich Balkan flavor on steroids.

Lots of us Americans of military background are watching Europe and the West, in general, speculating as to when the fun and festivities will kick off. Once the fun begins, it will quickly spread through Western Europe like wildfire and then the military will have no choice but to step in and take over from these treasonous and hapless things we call politicians. It will happen to the US as well as we are suffering the same problems from the invasion of the 3rd world as well.

  2. You must have some ethical restraints in war or else the government will use its pernicious powers in peace time. However, fighting Islam is a matter of will to keep it contained. The media and political class continue to sabotage common sense measures.

    • Islam cannot be contained, it must be completely eradicated from out western shores, to leave it so-called contained in our western nations allows it to fester and grow to the treat it always has been. No more Islam = no more problems will be the hue and cry of the day coming soon.

      • One can surely hope. I don’t think eradicating it from Western lands will be enough though. When western peoples finally start fighting back against islamists, muslims and other foreign invasive species, the fight will be existential in my opinion. It will not be enough to simply prune back the infestation and leave future generations to face the resurgent and vengeful descendants of those who were expelled or killed in battle.

        • Moon, the fight that is coming will be extremely brutal, bloody and final where no quarter, no mercy and no prisoners will be the order of the day, since the muslims will take the fight to a whole new level where only a old testament response will be the only option. Any attempts from outside forces(Turkey and Middle Eastern) will be met with either they being invaded or decimated from air and conventional missiles. You will also have the effect of democratic governments falling to a strongman or military since they will be overwhelmed by events as they consume them.

      • Muslim countries are not much of a threat to non-Muslim countries because their generally low intelligence and ability to cooperate puts them at a severe disadvantage. It’s easy to keep Muslims out of the country…or at least, it was until they began admitting enough Muslims to form a political bloc. Nevertheless, if the West can’t gin up enough resolve to just exclude Muslims from the immigration and visa process, what makes you think occupying Muslim countries will be easier.

And good luck on trying to eradicate Islam, except with mass murder. The Spaniards tried forced conversions after 1492, and ended up having to expel all people descended from Muslims because the conversions were phony and the Muslims were a hostile, disruptive force in Spain. But, even the Spanish government didn’t kill the Muslims; it simply expelled them.

        • RonaldB, Muslim countries still can be a major thorn in our side by sending material, financial and personnel support that will have to be dealt with.
As for the Spanish, they did in fact slaughter entire villages and towns full of muslims to get their point across to leave when it suited the Spanish Crown.

        • Oil-rich muslim nations use it to gain leverage in international relations, as Saudi Arabia does. They also use their riches to buy armaments and build mosques in overseas countries.

    • I agree with you.

Real ethics is a necessity, not an option. But, one should not confuse ethics with mindless generalizations.

For example, if the enemy is shooting rockets at you from the roofs of school buildings, you may have to destroy the schools, even with children inside. It is not a good ethic to allow your people to be killed because the other side hides behind children.

But, when it comes to diplomatic advantage rather than immediate physical safety, more traditional ethics come into play. It was unethical to destroy millions of Libyans, Iraqis and Syrians by toppling their governments, which had not threatened US security in the least. Not only was it unethical, but deeply harmful to real, long-term US interests. Ethics are a real tool for finding your way; just not leftist ethics.

  3. and you wonder why the politicians support Islam? what other system of beliefs endorses lying, cheating and stealing for the ‘greater good’ of the god that is worshipped and promises global domination to the ‘faithful’ advance the credo on the backs and carcasses of those who refuse to have anything to do with this hell-spawned creed.

  4. There are a lot of muslims out there. Are you suggesting we have to kill them all?

    • Unfortunately, yes.

What do you do with a fanatical enemy who follows a barbaric system of laws and beliefs that is incapable of being reformed to a less virulent form?

      • Establish which parts of Islam (effectively anything that smacks of supremacism) which are a threat to the non-Muslim world and proscribe them. Anyone overstepping the mark has to be deported to anywhere that will have them (or can be induced to have them) or interned until such time as they can be deported. And then we should remember what our borders are for.

Yes, I know it’s unlikely to work. Much more likely that we will end up subjugated or involved in a Europe-wide civil war, but perhaps there is a narrow channel between Scylla and Charybdis.

I would point out that Islam already comes in more and less virulent forms, the Medina form and the Mecca form. I cannot see how Muslims can ignore the Medina version but I’ve come across some who genuinely do.

        • ECAW, As much as I would like to believe that you can end this with peaceful means, history says otherwise. When the fun begins, all manner of so called western civilized behavior will go out the window as there will be no quarter and no mercy to any muslim, no matter his/her stripe because the muslim will give us absolutely no choice in the matter.

        • Why I believe it is incapable of being turned into a less virulent form is true believers are following the literal words of the koran. This mandates death to anyone who is not a believer, or leaves islam, or attempts to reform it, or who is muslim but doesn’t practice all the parts of the faith. It cannot be allowed any quarter or safe havens from which to recuperate and recover it’s strength.

Even if it were possible to kill all the fanatics and true believers, there would arise a new generation among who would be new fanatics. The entire religion and political system that is islam must be proscribed and discredited in a similar manner to nazism, and any who persist in following must be ridiculed and shunned by the rest of society. If this is not done, then the descendents will use the tools of modern technology in the form of plagues or genetically engineered superviruses against which there is no defense to destroy civilization. They believe they will be rewarded with paradise for doing so, and this is what makes islam and its followers an existential threat to human civilization and indeed, its very existence as a species.

  5. I can’t help but wonder if the elephant, or tiger, in the room is human nature stripped of its civilized veneer. If that is the case then we are blind as we grope around the edges of something that must be acknowledged in ourselves before we can see it, for what it really is. Could it be that the human nature finds its ultimate apologia in the Recitals that call for the worship of a god that is more ‘human’ than we are?
As for myself, I am leaving the room and the mess the occupants have made of it and taking my re-born nature with me and head home with my Lord and Savior as I don’t care to be trampled on or had for lunch.

    • Underneath the thin veneer of western civilization lies the man with conquer and kill in his DNA, all it takes to unleashed his potential is give him a dire set of circumstances to bring out the Viking,Saxon, Pole, Slav, Cossack, Norman, Angle and Celt to our 3 rd world enemies horror.

      • Brainwashing in past 50 years corrupted also DNA.. see the state of young men. Instincts are dead.

        • It just takes a few hard men to turn thousands soft boys into thousands of hard men again. Nature will sort out the rest.
