A White-Collar Sweatshop’: Google Assistant Contractors Allege Wage Theft

To some of the Google employees responsible for making the Assistant work, the tagline of the conference — “Keep making magic” — obscured a more mundane reality: the technical wizardry relies on massive data sets built by subcontracted human workers earning low wages.

“It’s smoke and mirrors if anything,” said a current Google employee who, as with the others quoted in this story, spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the press. “Artificial intelligence is not that artificial; it’s human beings that are doing the work.”

The Google employee works on Pygmalion, the team responsible for producing linguistic data sets that make the Assistant work. And although he is employed directly by Google, most of his Pygmalion co-workers are subcontracted temps who have for years been routinely pressured to work unpaid overtime, according to seven current and former members of the team.

Alan Dershowitz: ‘Shame on Mueller, ‘ He ‘Has Revealed His Partisan Bias’

“Until today, I have defended Mueller against the accusations that he is a partisan. I did not believe that he personally favored either the Democrats or the Republicans, or had a point of view on whether President Trump should be impeached. But I have now changed my mind. By putting his thumb, indeed his elbow, on the scale of justice in favor of impeachment based on obstruction of justice, Mueller has revealed his partisan bias. He also has distorted the critical role of a prosecutor in our justice system.”

Prosecutors are not in a position to determine anyone’s guilt or innocence, noted Dershowitz, recalling the presumption of innocence and reminding readers that determinations of guilt or innocence within America’s justice system require a “full adversarial trial with a zealous defense attorney, vigorous cross examination, exclusionary rules of evidence, and other due process safeguards.”

Attkisson: Why Obstruction & ‘Cover-Up’ Claims Smack of Desperation

A friend of mine who is — I’ll just say it — a devoted Trump-hater recently was talking about President Trump’s obstruction and asked what I thought.

After listening to his views, I told him there’s plenty about which to criticize the president, as is true of any political leader. But the obstruction charge doesn’t make logical sense. I used an analogy to explain why. When I finished, this friend still hated Trump — but surprised me by saying, “Nobody’s ever explained it that way. That makes sense. You should write about it.”

Obviously, I don’t kid myself that this analogy will “make sense” to everyone. But after listening to both sides and looking at the publicly available evidence, here’s how I see it:

Deep State Target: How I Got Caught in the Crosshairs of the Plot to Bring Down President Trump [Book]

“If you want to understand how the Russia Investigation started, read George Papadopoulos’s book.” — Rudy Giuliani

“George Papadopoulos was the whole reason for the Trump Russia investigation.” — Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C.

“Revealing… a troubling story of prosecutors railroading him… Papadopoulos’s saga unfolds like a spy thriller… He convincingly debunks anti-Trump theorizing about the supposedly sinister contacts of campaign underlings: it wasn’t collusion, he argues, but instead the normal, promiscuous networking of on-the-make foreign relations consultants like him looking to gain status by forging connections with and between powerful people. The result is a revealing . . . insider account of a seemingly central piece of the special counsel investigation.” — Publishers Weekly

DOJ Fines Bus Company for Hiring H-2B Foreign Workers Over Americans

The Department of Justice (DOJ) fined a bus company this week after finding that the business had discriminated against qualified American citizens and hired imported foreign workers on the H-2B visa instead.

On Wednesday, the Justice Department announced a settlement against El Expreso Bus Company in Houston, Texas which investigators discovered had wrongfully thrown out or ignored applications of qualified Americans for temporary bus driver positions.

Instead, the DOJ settlement found, El Expreso Bus Company hired imported foreign workers who arrived in the United States on the H-2B visa, which has been recently expanded to bring tens of thousands more low-skilled foreign workers to the country by President Trump’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Exclusive: Joe Biden Lived in House That Forbade Resale to Blacks — Unless the Family Had a Black Domestic Servant

Joe Biden wants you to believe he is a good friend of the black community.

In 2014 Joe Biden famously accused Republicans of wanting to put black Americans back in chains.

But in 1986 Jet Magazine had a different view of the Delaware Democrat.

According to Jet, a popular magazine marketed to African-American readers, Joe Biden once lived in a house that, per contract, prohibited ownership by “any Negro or person of Negro extraction” …unless they were a “domestic servant.”

How a Quick Walk Turned Into a 17-Day Survival Ordeal in the Hawaiian Jungle

More than 2 weeks ago, the news was abuzz about Amanda Eller, a 37-year-old physical therapist/yoga instructor who took a walk in a Maui forest and never came back to where her car was parked. Theories abounded about Amanda because she’d left her water bottle, cellphone, and wallet in her car. People wondered whether she’d been kidnapped or murdered.

The official search was called off after only 72 hours, leaving the hunt for Amanda in the hands of hundreds of volunteers who combed the forest. As well, people all over the world made donations to help fund the search.

The Makawao Forest Reserve is a 2000 acre area on the north side of Maui that is surrounded by even more thousands of acres of dense forest, steep ravines, lava rocks, and vegetation so thick that it often must be hacked with machetes to get through it.

There’s a lot we can learn from the survival stories of other people and Amanda’s story also has many lessons. While I’ll point out a few mistakes, keep in mind that nearly every survival story begins with something going sideways. Amanda survived a situation many people could not, and did so barefoot and with a fractured leg. Amanda did a few things wrong but did a LOT of things right.

How did she get lost in the first place?

Amanda told reporters she didn’t take her water or phone because she was planning only a quick walk. One thing Selco drummed into us during our course is that you don’t even walk across the street without a layer one that contains at the least some water purification tablets, a lighter, a whistle, a trauma bandage, and a knife.

According to news reports, Amanda intended to walk a quick three-mile trail. But when she stopped to rest, she got turned around and that was when things went wrong.

‘It Can’t be Them, They’re Black as Sin’

What Jussie Smollett told cops once Nigerian brothers were in custody as newly released police files reveal how he changed his story and asked them about ‘good pills and molly’ months before staged attack

When Jussie Smollett was told his Nigerian trainer and his brother had been arrested for the ‘homophobic, racist’ attack he said he was the victim of, he reacted with: ‘It can’t be them, they’e black as sin.’

His reaction was revealed for the first time on Thursday, buried in 470 pages of previously sealed Chicago PD files that have finally been made public.

The files, which DailyMail.com has reviewed in full, also reveal how Smollett changed his story throughout the police investigation, first telling police one of his attackers was white, then ‘pale’ and admitting that he had ‘presumed’ they were white because of what he claimed they said to him — ‘This MAGA country’.

Joe diGenova Unloads on Mueller’s Parting Shot to Trump: “We Are in a Civil War in This Country”

Joe diGenova has the best statement of all regarding Mueller’s parting shot to President Trump. He cuts through all of the bs and tells it like it is.

It’s worth the time to listen to his comments to Laura Ingraham regarding the “petty” and “vindictive” statement by Mueller. His comments are stunning. This is a wake-up call to anyone who hasn’t been paying attention.

“Where in the world have we come in the Department of Justice?” — Joe diGenova

diGenova believes this is all because of one man. Rod Rosenstein is the one man who is responsible for this.

“This isn’t about the law anymore.” diGenova believes this is part of an ongoing Civil War in America. He continued to say that the people will reject this impeachment and says things will get ugly.

Mueller’s statement was designed to do one thing. It was to kick off the impeachment process of a president who has done nothing.

Media Curiously Incurious About MLK Story

Is a Pulitzer winning biographer of Martin Luther King suddenly without standing?

he FBI investigated him under the pretext that his aides included people loyal to the Russian government rather than their own. They used electronic surveillance to spy on him. They pored over salacious material of a sexual nature. The administration that initially authorized the spying denied, denied, denied.

Sound familiar?

The parallels between the peeping-tom state that surveilled Donald Trump in 2016 and Martin Luther King more than a half-century earlier appear uncanny. Those parallels diverge when it comes to the mass media covering the ill-gotten, and surely in some cases false, information.

The UK’s Guardian commissioned David Garrow, a Pulitzer Prize-winning biographer of Martin Luther King, to write an article detailing his shocking discoveries about the civil rights leader’s behind-closed-doors behavior, before pulling out with a kill fee. “Garrow had similar experiences with the Atlantic magazine and with the Washington Post — both of which he had written for before,” Michael Mosbacher writes at Standpoint, which publishes the controversial article on Thursday. “Conservative magazines in the US also felt the story was too risky to run. The same response came from a web magazine whose raison d’être is to fight for free speech. When Standpoint decided to publish it, the longest essay we have ever run, I approached a prominent British historian to write an article putting the revelations into context. The response: ‘No way! I’ll try to think of someone else who has the guts to drink from that particular poisoned chalice.’“

The revelations say something unpleasant both about King and the FBI, which bugged hotel rooms where he slept and expected privacy. Surely if a private citizen acted in the way FBI agents did their names would eventually appear on a sex-offender registry. Law enforcement officers listening to what they characterized as a rape without intervening exposes the prurient nature of the investigation. “Well, the FBI is — from J. Edgar Hoover (why is his name still on the building?) to James Comey — a government unto itself, as we have been constantly reminded of late,” Roger Simon, a 1960s civil rights activist, writes at PJMedia. “Let us hope they, and others, get the mammoth house cleaning they deserve.”

But King’s antagonists remain mostly anonymous and beyond accountability; the Baptist minister’s deeds appear in publications around the world — but not much in the nation King called home. A Google search shows Garrow’s research making headlines in India, the UK, Russia, and points beyond. In the United States, listen to the crickets. This says something about the curiously incurious American media.

American journalists, who normally salivate over throwing mud on historical figures and find themselves in hysteria mode over the sexual conduct of comedians, producers, anchormen, and those far lower on the totem pole than King, balk at reporting on the finds of a writer to whom they once awarded a Pulitzer. #ThemToo. Apart from King emerging as a secular saint posthumously, making unflattering truths a sort of blasphemy, the allegations put off because they strike as so off putting. Nobody, perhaps least of all Garrow — a member of the Democratic Socialists of America — wants to write something nasty about a man responsible for so much good. The allegations make one feel ill in a literal sense.

“The FBI document says: ‘When one of the women protested that she did not approve, the Baptist minister immediately and forcefully raped her’ as King watched,” the Daily Mail reports. “He is alleged to have ‘looked on, laughed and offered advice’ during the encounter.”

King allegedly participated in an orgy along with a dozen others the following day. When one female expressed skittishness, King informed her that participating “would help your soul.”

“I always thought there were 10-12 other women,” the London Times quotes Garrow as saying, “not 40-45.” He comes to this conclusion after reading FBI summaries of audio surveillance of King. The tapes remain under lock-and-key at the National Archives until 2027. Raw FBI reports, particularly ones that rely on informants, often relay gossip and rumors and lies told by those looking for some advantage. Because these reports come straight from audio tapes, their level of authenticity, one presumes, likely rises to a higher level than other information gathered by the bureau. Perhaps the summaries exaggerate the bad, and in some cases criminal, behavior on the tapes. But did agents really just make it all up? Surely, some of the participants still live to refute or corroborate the allegations. Beyond this, a Pulitzer Prize-winning historian so obviously sympathetic to King and his aims vouching for the information grants it credibility. “It poses so fundamental a challenge to his historical stature,” Garrow says of what he saw in the archives, “as to require the most complete and extensive historical review possible.”

Police Were Told Deal Was in Works With Jussie Smollett

CHICAGO (AP) — New documents on the Jussie Smollett case released Thursday show that prosecutors told Chicago police detectives that a possible deal with the “Empire” actor was in the works a month before charges against him were dropped.

The approximately 460-pages of new documents show detectives investigating Smollett’s claim he was the victim of a hate crime were told by Cook County prosecutors a deal with Smollett could include a $10,000 fine and community service. The detectives did not pass the information to superiors.

“They didn’t pass it on because they didn’t know it (the case) was going to be handled the way it was,” said Chicago police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi.

Robert Mueller is a Sleazy, Shameful, Partisan Hack

Robert Mueller should have been disbarred decades ago, along with his enforcer Andrew Weismann; that is how egregious his record of malfeasance is, all matters of public record.

What he did Wednesday morning was his final IED tossed at the President to placate his Democrat overlords who desperately want to impeach Trump. But for what? Mueller gave no list of felonies in his report nor did he detail any crimes of which Trump is even amorphously guilty.

Volume two of Mueller’s report was entirely unnecessary but for this gang of thugs’ need to vent and hopefully give the Democrats something with which to move ahead with impeachment.

True to form, the dim bulb Democrats are such legal ignoramuses they have continued to insist the report found Trump guilty of all manner of crimes even though it did not. We can be sure that if they had discovered anything useful, they would have used it and recommended charges. But they did not.

Technotyranny: The Iron-Fisted Authoritarianism of the Surveillance State

“There will come a time when it isn’t ‘They’re spying on me through my phone’ anymore. Eventually, it will be ‘My phone is spying on me.’“ — Philip K. Dick

Twenty years after the Wachowskis’ iconic 1999 film, The Matrix, introduced us to a futuristic world in which humans exist in a computer-simulated non-reality powered by authoritarian machines — a world where the choice between existing in a denial-ridden virtual dream-state or facing up to the harsh, difficult realities of life comes down to a red pill or a blue pill — we stand at the precipice of a technologically-dominated matrix of our own making.

We are living the prequel to The Matrix with each passing day, falling further under the spell of technologically-driven virtual communities, virtual realities and virtual conveniences managed by artificially intelligent machines that are on a fast track to replacing us and eventually dominating every aspect of our lives.

Science fiction has become fact.

In the not-too-distant future, “just about every device you have — and even products like chairs, that you don’t normally expect to see technology in — will be connected and talking to each other.”

By 2020, there will be 152 million cars connected to the Internet and 100 million Internet-connected bulbs and lamps. By 2021, it is estimated there will be 240 million wearable devices such as smartwatches, keeping users connected it real time to their phones, emails, text messages and the Internet. By 2022, there will be 1.1 billion smart meters installed in homes, reporting real-time usage to utility companies and other interested parties.

This “connected” industry—estimated to add more than $14 trillion to the economy by 2020—is about to be the next big thing in terms of societal transformations, right up there with the Industrial Revolution, a watershed moment in technology and culture.

Trump to Replace Alarmist Climate Models With Sound Science

Given the fact that extremist climate-change-prognostication models have been wildly inaccurate, it would be wise to avoid basing any serious environmental policy on them. In fact, anyone interested in following the sound and time-tested scientific method would demand nothing less, and yet the Leftmedia is up in arms over President Donald Trump’s recent decision to do just that. The New York Times blows its climate alarmist’s dog whistle with the headline, “Trump Administration Hardens Its Attack on Climate Science.” Hardly.

The Times fallaciously asserts that “the attack on science is underway,” supposedly evidenced by Trump’s appointment of geologist and former astronaut James Reilly as the director of the United States Geological Survey. And how is Reilly “attacking science”? By insisting upon the practice of sound science. The Times huffs, “Reilly … has ordered that scientific assessments produced by that office use only computer-generated climate models that project impact of climate change through 2040, rather than through the end of the century, as had been done previously.”

In reality, Trump is pushing for the government to return to adhering to sound scientific practice for informing policy decisions, rather than agenda-driven hysterics. James Hewitt, a spokesman for the Environmental Protection Agency, explained, “The previous use of inaccurate modeling that focuses on worst-case emissions scenarios [and] that does not reflect real-world conditions needs to be thoroughly reexamined and tested if such information is going to serve as the scientific foundation of nationwide decision-making now and in the future.”

The Trump administration is also creating a new climate-review panel to be headed by respected Princeton University scientist William Happer. Long an outspoken critic of the alarmism surrounding rising CO2 levels, Happer has argued, “The public in general doesn’t realize that from the point of view of geological history, we are in a CO2 famine. … There is no problem from CO2. The world has lots and lots of problems, but increasing CO2 is not one of the problems. So [the Paris accord] dignifies it by getting all these yahoos who don’t know a damn thing about climate saying, ‘This is a problem, and we’re going to solve it.’ All this virtue signaling.”

If you’re running version 1709 or earlier on Windows 10 Home or Pro, your version has reached its End of Service date. Version 1803 (the April 2018 Update) will reach its end of service date on November 12, 2019.

Starting in June 2019, Microsoft says, it will begin automatically updating PCs running versions 1803 or earlier to the new version. The company has not supplied any details about how it will determine which devices get updated except to say that it will use a “machine learning (ML)-based rollout process several months in advance of the end of service date.”…

On a PC running Windows 10 Home or Pro, version 1803 or earlier, the version 1903 update will arrive sometime soon, and you won’t be able to delay it.

If you’re currently running version 1809, any edition, you can skip version 1903 by ignoring its entry in Windows Update.

On a PC running the Pro, Enterprise, or Education editions of Windows 10 version 1809, you can prevent the version 1903 Update from being offered by using Windows Update for Business to assign a deferral period of up to 365 days. That clock started ticking on May 21, 2019, with the public release of Windows 10 version 1903. If you also assigned the device to the Semi-Annual Channel, the start date is July 20, 2019.

Canada Votes 2019: Poll Tracker

The Conservatives have led in the polls since February, moving ahead of the Liberals as their support dropped in the wake of the SNC-Lavalin affair. The Conservatives would likely win the most seats if an election were held today, but whether it would be a majority is a toss-up. The New Democrats trail in third, while the Greens have hit new polling highs since the last election. The Bloc Québécois is in a good position to win more than the 12 seats needed to be a recognized party in the House of Commons.

‘A Zombie Party’: The Deepening Crisis of Conservatism

The traditional right is clinging on to power — but its ideas are dead in the water.

Conservatism is the dominant politics of the modern world. Even when rightwing parties are not in power, conservative ideas and policies set the shape of society and the economy. Ever since the transformative 1980s governments of Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher — with their new fusion of disruptive capitalism and social traditionalism — the assumption in Britain, the US and far beyond has been that conservatism is the default setting of democratic politics.

Even when other parties have been in office, leaders such as Tony Blair and Bill Clinton have continued with the conservative project of privatising the state and deregulating business. For decades, armies of rightwing activists — with rich financial backers and many allies in the media — have successfully spread and entrenched conservative ideas.

Many of conservatism’s opponents have come to expect that, somehow, it will always prevail. Despite the spectacular failure of Theresa May’s premiership and the unpopularity of her divided party, the contest to succeed her is likely to dominate British politics this summer, as if the identity of the Tory leader is its weightiest matter. The Republican Donald Trump, despite the most consistently bad approval ratings of any modern US president, is widely thought to have a good chance of re-election. In today’s otherwise unstable, fast-changing political world, conservatism has an air of permanence.

Yet this aura has led to an overconfidence about conservatism’s underlying health. In Britain and the US, once the movement’s most fertile sources of ideas, voters, leaders and governments, a deep crisis of conservatism has been building since the end of the Reagan and Thatcher governments. It is a crisis of competence, of intellectual energy and coherence, of electoral effectiveness, and — perhaps most serious of all — of social relevance.

This crisis has often been obscured. The collapse of Soviet communism in the 80s, the apparent triumph of capitalism during the 90s, the western left’s own splits, dilemmas and failures, and the ongoing surge of rightwing populism have all helped maintain conservatism’s surface confidence. Meanwhile, the rightwing media’s fierce, enduring faith in the ever-more distant politics of Thatcher and Reagan has helped delay the moment of recognition that those politics have grown obsolete. The right is still winning elections, from India to the European parliament, but transatlantic conservatism as we have known it since the 80s — pro-capitalist, anti-government, controlled by the traditional parties of the right — may be dying.

The signs of this crisis have been around for years, for those who cared to see them. In Britain, the Conservatives last won a solid general election majority 32 years ago, in Thatcher’s final landslide victory. The Republicans have won the popular vote only once in the last seven presidential elections: in 2004, in the afterglow of George W Bush’s deceptive early successes in the Afghan and Iraq wars.

[…]

With some justification, conservatives had long prided themselves on their attention to facts, to how people actually lived, or wanted to live — rather than trying to build utopias, as they accused the left of doing. Even the most dogmatic Thatcherites had been keenly aware of social trends such as the rise of individualism, and how they might be politically exploited. But, starting in the 90s, on both sides of the Atlantic, much of the movement “ceased to be empirical”, Gray says. And without an interest in facts, it is hard to govern well for long…

Brexit Bludgeon Batters Britain’s Politics All Over Again — George Galloway

Desperate spin notwithstanding, the tsunami created by Nigel Farage’s six-week old Brexit Party may sweep away centuries-old parties which may now begin to split into their constituent parts.

But first a word about Farage. As a populist politician he is perfectly evolved. Cheerful, possessed of only the ordinary vices, personable, a communicator of genius. He is neither a philosopher nor an ideologue but gripped by one iron-clad obsession — British withdrawal from the European Union.

Single-mindedly pursued for a quarter of a century, this obsession has changed the course of history in a way not matched since Mr Churchill in the summer of 1940, Margaret Thatcher and Tony Blair not excepted.

I have privately criticized him for prematurely departing the stage when Brexit was won after the 2016 referendum — but in fact his timing has been perfect. He gave the ruling elites, conspiring to wreck Brexit and defy the voters, just enough rope. And now they have hanged themselves.

Delingpole: John Cleese is Right That London Isn’t English; His Lefty Critics Are Lying Hypocrites

Monty Python star John Cleese is under fire from the left for daringly, controversially pointing out that multicultural London no longer feels very English.

This tells us more about the hypocrisy and dishonesty of the left than it does about John Cleese — or London.

To say that Londonistan is a foreign city these days is about as contentious as saying that sheep make baaing noises and are a useful source of wool.

And who can forget the bizarrely inappropriate but hugely revealing comment of left-wing journalist George Eaton in the aftermath of the March 2017 terrorist attack on Westminster Bridge?

Four pedestrians had been mown down and killed, a police officer had been stabbed to death, and 49 people had been injured, some crippled for life.

But for woke crusader Eaton — then-deputy editor of the left-wing political journal the New Statesman — the main lesson of all these people being murdered and maimed by an Islamic terrorist was just how wonderful diversity is.

Eaton tweeted:

A snapshot of London’s magnificent diversity in those injured: French, Romanian, Korean, German, Polish, Irish, Chinese, US, Italian, Greek.

Yes, the tweet (which he subsequently deleted) was weird and disgusting and grotesque but it was also extremely valuable: it offered all us norms a window into how the liberal-left elite thinks these days.

EU Elections: No Sovereignist Upsurge

by Srdja Trifkovic

The trouble with last week’s elections for the European Parliament is that its results offer grounds for widely different interpretations of their meaning. Too many glasses are half-full or half-empty. One thing is certain: the upsurge of Euroskeptic, sovereignist-identitarian parties — feared by some, hoped for by others — has not materialized. The EU is not about to unravel any time soon, but it is not going anywhere in particular.

Let us start with the figures. Voter participation went up from 43 percent in 2014 to 51 percent last week. Pro-EU commentators hailed this as a sign that the Union is overcoming its perennial “democratic deficit,” but the reality is more complex. A close friend of mine in The Netherlands summed it up in an email last week: “If I vote, I’ll grant this monstrosity undeserved legitimacy. If I don’t, the bad guys will carry the day.” In the end he did not vote, and it is an even bet that millions of sovereignist sympathizers faced the same dilemma. We do not know how many of them were among the 49 percent who abstained, but its stands to reason that they outnumbered those who support the Union yet preferred to stay home…

France: Lyon Terror Suspect an Illegal Algerian

According to Breitbart, “sources speaking to Franceinfo have said that even after a day in custody, the suspect believed to be ‘the man on a bike’ (shown) who left in a paper bag filled with explosives outside of a bakery in downtown Lyon is not cooperating with police. Authorities confirmed that his parents, brother, and sister were also brought in for questioning.”

DNA evidence, those sources said, links the suspect to the scene, “while sources speaking to Le Parisien said that a search of the family home of Oullins, in Rhône, southwest of Lyon, uncovered the chemical elements used in the composition of TATP, the explosive substance identified in analysis of the bomb.”

And the French interior minister, Christophe Castaner, Breitbart reported, told CNews that cops caught the right man. “No doubt,” Castaner said, the Algerian was behind the attack, and he “certainly” meant to kill innocents.

Like so many criminal illegals in the United States, Hickem M., Breitbart reported, overstayed a visa:

LEDs Have Damaging Health Effects, French Assessment Says

Phototoxic and capable of causing diminished sharpness of vision due to irreversible loss of retinal cells

According to the ANSES reports, exposure to intense blue LED light — such as that emitted from newer flashlights and car headlights — is phototoxic and capable of causing diminished sharpness of vision due to irreversible loss of retinal cells. “Warm white” LED lighting, however, was found to have weak phototoxicity, which is precisely what you would predict as it has far less blue light.

An American review14 published in 2016 echoes these findings, concluding LEDs with a wavelength below 455 nanometers in the blue light range is damaging to the eyes in the long term. This paper also addresses the impact of blue light on the circadian rhythm. The two issues — your circadian rhythm and vision — are actually closely linked.

In an email, lead author Gianluca Tosini told CNN15 “There are blue light photoreceptors in the retina that directly communicate with the brain circadian clock,” and that “exposure to light in the evening affect sleep and circadian rhythms mostly by inhibiting the synthesis of the sleep promoting hormone melatonin.”

Right-Wing AfD Suggests Parts of Germany Are Now Under an Islamic “Caliphate”

Leftist says she would prefer to live under a caliphate than a Germany controlled by AfD

The German right-wing AfD party posted a graphic which suggested that parts of the country are now under the control of an Islamic “caliphate”.

Following the conclusion of the European elections, one of Alternative for Germany’s branches in Berlin posted an image on Facebook indicating that the western and southern states, where AfD received less support, had been taken over by Islamists.

The image showed the country split into the “republic of Germany” and the “German caliphate,” highlighted by a black banner featuring the Islamic declaration of faith.

The post, which was subsequently deleted, included the caption, “pictures speak louder than words”.

Despite receiving flak for the post, one respondent suggested she would prefer to live in an Islamic caliphate over a Germany governed by the AfD.

“If I had to live under AfD in something titled “The Federal Republic of Germany”, then I would take the green caliphate, please. There is sun and delicious food!” commented Christina Fischer.

Romania: The Head of the Ruling Party in Jail

Corruption, 3,5 years to Dragnea. The premier: ‘hard times’

(ANSA) — BUCHAREST, MAY 27 — For the ruling Social Democratic Party in Romania, which has not even had time to figure out the heavy defeat in the EU election, another dagger plunged in the heart: the powerful party leader, Liviu Dragnea, considered the most influential national political leader, was jailed after being sentenced to three years and six months in prison for corruption. Dragnea, who was also speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, was accused of abuse of office, forgery and bribery for having imposed on the Institute of Child Protection of the province of Teleorman the hiring of two women belonging to the PSD party and who never even paid a day’s service in that institute, receiving regular salary and continuing to work quietly for the party. The facts date back to 2008 when Dragnea, taking advantage of his position as president of the Teleorman provincial council, had — according to the prosecutor — imposed this decision on the directors of the Institute. The former leader of the Social Democratic Party had appealed against the first sentence in 2018, but with no result. The judges, in fact, confirmed all the charges and the 3,5-year sentence with immediate execution. Dragnea arrived in Jilava prison in the early afternoon, appearing before an an angry crowd, the same one that during his ‘reign’ in the PSD had tried to shout all his outrage at the social democratic government’s corruption, organizing numerous demonstrations, the highest number since the revolution that overthrew the communist regime 30 years ago. The race for succession has already begun and among the eligible candidates for the party’s leadership is the current premier Viorica Dancila. She spoke of a “difficult moment” for the ruling party, which is also severely criticized by president Klaus Iohannis. No one knows what is now going to happen to the current government since the PSD-Alde coalition faced a debacle in the European vote and the center-right wing won hands down, paving the way for early elections.

The website of Egyptian daily Youm7 said Ashmawi is accused of 17 terrorist attacks and was arrested last October in the Libyan town of Derna in the Maghar neighbourhood “while wearing an explosive belt”.

Ashmawi is considered, among other things, to be “one of the most important terrorists” in the Egypt-based jihadist group Ansar Beit al-Maqdis (Supporters of Jerusalem), which merged with ISIS in 2014.

Saudi news channel Al Arabiya said Ashmawi is implicated in attacks on Egyptian security forces with dozens of deaths.

Haftar’s forces announced the capture of Ashmawi, whose name is often transliterated as Ashmawy and who is known as “the most-wanted terrorist in Egypt”, on October 8.

At the time, the website of Al Arabiya said Ashmawi was accused of being responsible for, among other attacks, the massacre of at least 16 police officers at the Bahariya Oasis in the Western Desert of Egypt in October 2017.

The group Ansar al-Islam, which was headed by Ashmawi, claimed responsibility for that attack.

Egyptian English-language monthly magazine Egypt Today said Ashmawi, previously known as Abu Omar al-Muhajir, is a former officer in the Egyptian special forces who had also trained in the USA but converted to jihadism in 2012-2013. He first became head of the military wing of Ansar al-Maqdis (which became the Egyptian branch of ISIS in the Sinai in 2014), then “emir” of the jihadist group al-Murabitoun, affiliated with al-Qaeda and in contrast with ISIS.

Some of the Egyptian attacks Ashmawi is accused of planning or executing include the killing of Egyptian Prosecutor General Hismah Barakat in July 2015, the December 2013 Mansoura bombing at the security directorate building of the Dakhalia (Nile Delta) Governorate, and the July 2014 attack on a military unit at the Farafra Oasis in the Western Desert.

The Latest Russian Fighter Jet Blows America’s Away

Outgunned by the Su-30 family of aircraft and suffering critical design flaws, the American F-35 is staring down the barrel of obsolescence — and punching a gaping hole in western air defences.

With more than 600 Flankers (Sukhoi-27s and its later iterations such as the Su-30, Su-34 and Su-35 Super Flanker) flying with air forces around the world, the fate of the fifth generation F-35 seems decidedly uncertain. Aerospace experts across the world are veering around to the view that America’s most expensive fighter development program (pegged at $1.5 trillion) will be a sitting duck for the flankers.

“It’s a turkey,” declares aerospace engineer Pierre Sprey in an interview to Dutch television. Few people are as qualified to speak about fighter aircraft as Sprey. He is the co-designer of the F-16 Falcon jet and the A-10 Warthog tank buster, two of the most successful aircraft in the US Air Force (USAF).

Winslow T. Wheeler, Director of the US’ Straus Military Reform Project, Centre for Defense information, agrees. “The F-35 is too heavy and sluggish to be successful as a fighter,” he says. “If we ever face an enemy with a serious air force we will be in deep trouble.”

So far the US has been lucky it has never really encountered a “serious” military. Over the skies of war-weary Iraq, tiny Libya and utterly defenseless Afghanistan, the American aircraft operated with impunity. But luck can run out — if they ever come up against the air forces of Russia, China or India the outcome won’t be so one-sided. In particular, the Indian Air Force has beaten the USAF’s fourth generation fighters using both third and fourth generation jets.

The biggest problem with the F-35 is that its US designers are betting on stealth and long range radar to compensate for its lack of speed and maneuverability. But stealth is not really all that it is cracked up to be; it is not the cloak of invisibility.

New Species of Rat Snake Discovered

An international team of scientists has described a cryptic new species of rat snake in the genus Elaphe.

Elaphe is a snake genus with distribution in temperate, subtropical, and tropical zones of both eastern and western hemisphere.

The genus is comprised of about 15 species, with most occurring exclusively in Asia.

The type species of the genus is the blotched rat snake (Elaphe sauromates), a non-venomous snake found in the Balkans, Anatolia, Caucasus, Ponto-Caspian steppes, and Levant.

“We studied the biogeography of Elaphe sauromates using both molecular and morphological data,” said lead author Dr. Daniel Jablonski of Comenius University and colleagues.

“We found that the taxon is, in fact, comprised of two distinct evolutionary lineages and the cryptic lineage represents a new.”

“It represents a cryptic species whose ancestors presumably diverged from their common ancestor with Elaphe sauromates around the Miocene-Pliocene boundary.”

The researchers named the new species Elaphe urartica. The common name is the Urartian rat snake.

“The specific epithet is a feminine adjective derived from the name of the ancient kingdom of Urartu that flourished in the Armenian Highlands and around lake Van, an area of recent distribution of Elaphe urartica, in the 9th—6th century BCE,” they explained.

“We are choosing this name out of respect for Peter Simon Pallas, who proposed the name for Elaphe sauromates, now the sister species of Elaphe urartica, which most likely refers to Sarmatians, a confederation of nomadic peoples inhabiting vast portions of the recent range of Elaphe sauromates between the 5th century BCE and 4th century CE.”

The total length of the new species usually does not exceed 4 feet (1.2 m), snout-vent length usually less than 3.3 feet (1 m), tail length less than 10 inches (25 cm).

“The snake is distributed in Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Dagestan, Iran and Iraq,” the scientists said.

“Its geographic range is bordered by the Armenian Plateau, south-eastern foothills of the Great Caucasus, Alazan Valley, Kur-Aras, Lenkoran Lowlands, and the area of Qobustan.”

Dead Bodies Litter Mount Everest Because it’s So Dangerous and Expensive to Get Them Down

Dead bodies are a common sight on top of Mount Everest.

“I cannot believe what I saw up there,” Everest filmmaker Elia Saikaly wrote on Instagram last week. “Death. Carnage. Chaos. Lineups. Dead bodies on the route.”

Eleven people have died climbing Mount Everest this spring, in what has become the peak’s deadliest climbing sprint in recent memory. In 2015, an avalanche roared through Everest, killing at least 19 people.

When people die on Everest, it can be difficult to remove their bodies. Final repatriation costs tens of thousands of dollars (in some cases, around $70,000) and can also come at a fatal price itself: two Nepalese climbers died trying to recover a body from Everest in 1984. Instead, bodies are often left lying on the mountain.

Pakistan: 2 From Mob That Incinerated Christian Couple Given Reprieve

Two members of a Pakistani mob that incinerated a Christian couple and their unborn child, because they thought the couple had disrespected a Quran, have been acquitted.

However, the death sentences for three others involved were upheld.

The news comes from the American Center for Law and Justice, which has been monitoring the case since the horrific attack in 2014.

The couple, Shahzad and Shama, the mother of three who was pregnant at the time with her fourth child, was targeted by an infuriated mob because the Muslims were under the mistaken impression they had burned pages of a Quran.

Fake News: Trump, Navy, Pentagon All Deny Claim That USS John S. McCain Was Ordered Hidden

Wall Street Journal published an old photograph of tarp over ship’s name

With another day, another round of leftists are losing their sh*t over something that the President didn’t actually do, as claims have surfaced that the White House ordered the Navy to cover up the name of the USS John S. McCain for Trump’s recent visit to forces anchored off Japan.

The claim originated from the eponymous ‘anonymous White House sources’ in a Wall Street Journal article. The piece claimed that an email dated May 15 to Navy and Air Force officials, outlined plans for the president’s arrival and included instructions stating “USS John McCain needs to be out of sight.”

Thanks to Democrats China Monopolized the Rare Earth Metals Market — Now They May Restrict Sales to US

Thanks to Democrats, in 2013 the United States was tied for last, with Papua New Guinea, in the time it takes to get a permit for a new rare metal or mineral mine.

And, thanks to Democrats, the United States is now 100% dependent on 19 strategic rare metals and minerals, 11 of those are from China. American Resources Policy Network Principal Daniel McGroarty wrote about this crisis in The Wall Street Journal at the time.

A century ago, plentiful elements like iron, lead, and copper fueled our Nation’s transition to an industrial economy. But today, many of the materials that characterize the industrial cutting-edge—such as rare earths, indium, and lithium—are not as naturally abundant or easy to access as their predecessors…

[…]Jobs and capital increasingly flow to countries that command the resources to power modern manufacturing, and American manufacturing is more dependent on metals and minerals access than ever before. Yet there is no country on the planet where it takes longer to get a permit for domestic mining. Among other consequences of this red tape, there are now 19 strategic metals and minerals for which the U.S. is currently 100% import-dependent—and for 11 of them a single country, China, is among the top three providers.

Democrats, of course, are notoriously against mining efforts and even cheer the death of mining jobs. It’s the Democrat Party’s anti-American policies that have allowed China to monopolize the rare earth metals market. Now this…

China is now considering restricting rare-earth exports to the United States.

Reuters reported:

China is “seriously considering” restricting rare-earth exports to the United States, the editor in chief of the Chinese tabloid Global Times said on Tuesday.

Rising tensions have led to concern that Beijing will use its dominant position as a supplier of rare earths for leverage in the trade war between the United States and China.

“Based on what I know, China is seriously considering restricting rare earth exports to the U.S. China may also take other countermeasures in the future,” Hu Xijin wrote on his Twitter account.

A senior official from China’s state planner, the National Development and Reform Commission, said China will give priority to domestic demand but is also willing to meet reasonable demand from other countries for rare-earth resources.

Chinese President Xi Jinping visited a rare-earth company in southern China last week, according to state media reports. The price of shares in rare-earth producers gained amid speculation Xi’s visit indicated China was considering using rare earths as a weapon in the trade war.

Democrats have become the anti-worker party. Their policies continually put America in danger. Never forget who Democrats support. It’s not the American worker.

South African Mom Who Spoke Out Against Slaughter of White Farmers Found Stabbed, Beaten to Death With Hammer

South African activist and mom, Annette Kennealy, spoke out against the massacre of white farmers in South Africa on social media for years.

Kennealy had accounts on Facebook and Gab where she spoke out against attacks on farmers, anti-white racism and social media censorship.

Kennealy was reportedly brutally stabbed to death and beaten with a hammer on her own farm just last week, allegedly by a “40-year-old male suspect” police arrested but have still yet to publicly identify…

The controlled media threw a fit last year after President Trump ordered Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to “closely study the South Africa land and farm seizures and expropriations and the large scale killing of farmers,” insisting the killing of white farmers was a “white genocide conspiracy theory.”

Anti-Migrant Party Gets Most Votes in Slovenia

Jansa, ally of Hungary’s hard-line PM Orban, got 26.5% of votes

(ANSA-AP) — LUBIANA, MAY 27 — Election authorities in Slovenia say an anti-immigrant party has won most votes in the European election but less than allied moderate groups together.

The State Election Commission said Sunday that near-complete results showed that the Slovenian Democratic Party of former Prime Minister Janez Jansa — an ally of Hungary’s hard-line Prime Minister Viktor Orban — has won 26.5% of the vote. The Social Democrats are second with 18.6% while Prime Minister Marjan Sarec’s party won 15.6%. The two parties are part of Slovenia’s current coalition government. The right-wing Slovenian Democratic Party also won most votes at last year’s parliamentary election in Slovenia but remained out of the government after moderate groups joined forces to form a coalition. The opposition conservative New Slovenia party is fourth in the EU vote with 11.1%.

‘Dangerous’: Hungarian PM Orban and Jordan Peterson Slam Illegal Immigration During Meeting

Both the Hungarian prime minister and Canadian academic are known to be staunch opponents of the uncontrolled illegal migration that has been pouring into the EU since 2015.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban met with Canadian University Professor Jordan Peterson, who was attending the Brain Bar Festival in Budapest, on 30 May to discuss an array of topics. Namely, the two discussed the acute issue of illegal immigration, agreeing that it is both “unnecessary and dangerous”, Hungary today reported, citing Orban’s Assistant Under Secretary Havasi Bertalan.

Orban and Peterson also discussed contemporary political correctness, which in their opinion has made “sensible public discussions” virtually impossible. The two reportedly agreed that political correctness had been invented by a “small, ideologically driven group”.

Canadian clinical psychologist Jordan Peterson first shot to fame after refusing to use special pronouns for transgender people, but later became known as a professor with views often at odds with the mainstream, especially when it comes to free speech. He is renowned as a steadfast critic of political correctness, hard-line feminism, Marxism, and post-modernist narratives.

First-Ever Private Border Wall Built in New Mexico

A private group announced Monday that it has constructed a half-mile wall along a section of the U.S.-Mexico border in New Mexico, in what it said was a first in the border debate.

The 18-foot steel bollard wall is similar to the designs used by the Border Patrol, sealing off a part of the border that had been a striking gap in existing fencing, according to We Build the Wall, the group behind the new section.

The section was also built faster and, organizers say, likely more cheaply than the government has been able to manage in recent years.

Kris Kobach, a former secretary of state in Kansas and an informal immigration adviser to President Trump, says the New Mexico project has the president’s blessing and says local Border Patrol agents are eager to have the assistance.

“We’re closing a gap that’s been a big headache for them,” said Mr. Kobach, who is general counsel for We Build the Wall.

The announcement comes at a critical time for the border.

Mr. Trump’s plans to build hundreds of miles of new and replacement wall took a hit late last week when a federal judge ordered a halt to part of his emergency declaration and shifting of money within the Pentagon to make up for Congress’s refusal to grant him the money he wanted.[…]

France: Illegal Migrant Behind Lyon Parcel Bombing Confesses Allegiance to ISIS

The illegal immigrant responsible for a parcel bomb attack outside a bakery in Lyon has confessed his allegiance to ISIS after authorities initially suggested his motive was unknown.

13 people were injured during the attack last Friday, including an 8-year-old girl, but thankfully no one lost their life.

‘Immigrants’ Beat German Police While Mother Films

Two police officers in Berlin were attacked by a group of “immigrants” while the assailants’ mother filmed the beating, according to local media.

The attack, which was described by the police press office as mere “resistance” by suspects, was only brought under control after a female officer drew her service weapon while she was being assaulted and her partner was being kicked on the ground.

Officers reportedly approached a suspicious vehicle and requested identification from the 23-year-old driver, who returned their request with insults before he and a fellow passenger, 21, violently set upon the male officer.

“A 27-year-old woman, who had also been sitting in the car, also hit the female colleague of the policeman lying on the ground,” Junge Freiheit reports. “She finally pulled out her service weapon and threatened to shoot so that the two men would let their colleague go.”

Italy: Former Mayor of Settime Boycotted in Polls by Constituents

The sole mayoral candidate of Settime, a town near Asti, lost the election after voters cast blank and void papers in the elections on May 26. In his previous mayoral tenure, he introduced a project to host asylum seekers. Citizens: “We prefer a commissioner”

Filippo Femia The electoral manifesto is still tacked to the bulletin board that’s a stone’s throw away from town hall. It reads: “Settime: A precious village.” It’s the only list that appears in Settime, a town with just over 500 inhabitants, some 1,500 km from Asti. Campaigning for mayor was the 70-year-old lawyer, Guido Rosina, who needed a quorum for the votes.

There were 388 eligible voters, but only 277 casted their ballots. A shoe-in win? Hardly. There were 112 votes in favor, 122 void papers and 43 blank votes. Less than 51 percent of votes were valid votes, which is the minimum required by law. It was essentially a boycott—unprecedented in the country for the sole candidate for mayor to be rejected in the polls by its constituents. Since Tuesday, Massimo Dannielli, a commissioner sent by the Prefecture of Asti, has stepped in at Town Hall.

To understand why this happened, we need to go back to 2011. Guido Rosina was elected mayor three years earlier, and introduced the Sprar reception network in his town. He launched the Pais project, opening the doors to refugees and asylum seekers. Boys and families arrived from Afghanistan, Somalia, and Kurdistan. They cut the grass, helped with odd jobs, and suddenly, Settime was put on the map as a model of welcoming immigrants; a small Riace in the hills of Asti. The migrants saved the asylum that threatened to close. In 2014, when Paola Borgio won the mayoral elections, she pulled the plug on the project. “Those families never bothered anyone,” inhabitants of the town unanimously cry. But fear of new arrivals, even if few admit it, is the real reason Rosina lost the election…

Open Borders Activist Facing 20 Years for Harboring Illegals

Case could set precedent for aiding illegal migrants

Private Border Wall Going Up in Vulnerable El Paso Sector Even as Federal Courts Push Open Borders

In spite of ‘open borders’ Democrats in Congress and activist federal judges appointed by Barack Obama, a section of wall is nevertheless being erected in a busy half-mile corridor near El Paso, Texas, thanks to a privately-funded effort.

Kris Kobach, former secretary of state for Kansas and head of “We Build the Wall,” told Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” program Sunday that the wall is going up on private land in a section of the border that has become a heavy smuggling corridor for drugs and migrants.

Kobach said the wall section is “the first time a private organization has built border wall on private land.”

The sector where the wall is being built has seen an 1,816 percent increase in family unit apprehensions between March 2018 and March 2019, Fox News’ host Pete Hegseth reported, or about 930 apprehensions per day.

“It’s not just any piece of land,” Kobach said. “This piece of land separates El Paso and Ciudad Juarez [Mexico]. Where that wall ends, there’s been a half-mile gap between the existing wall and Mt. Cristo Rey.

“It was a ridiculously large gap where smuggling where both people and drugs would go through,” he continued. “But get this: The Army Corps of Engineers said that piece of land is too rugged to build on, you can’t build there. Well, We Build the Wall proved them wrong. The wall has been going up 24-7” over the holiday weekend.

Kobach said that the project is nearly complete already and that the wall consists of the same metal bollard design that the government is installing in places where dilapidated fencing once stood.

The big difference, Kobach said, is that the steel being used by his organization lasts three times longer — 75 years instead of 25.

On any given night, Kobach said, 100 migrants will sneak into the U.S. illegally and $100,000 in drugs will cross.

The new private construction comes on the heels of another decision by an activist federal judge last week barring the Trump administration from tapping $6 billion in Pentagon funds for wall construction after POTUS declared a national emergency along the border in February. […]

Environmentalism: Evidence Suggests it Was Always and Only About Achieving World Government

It is common sense to protect our environment, but what has occurred for 50 years is exploitation of that idea for a socialist agenda. We wasted 50 years believing that humans are not natural, and everything they do is destructive. We wasted and continue to waste trillions of dollars on unnecessary policies and useless technologies, all based on false assumptions, pseudoscience, and emotional bullying.

We now know 50 years later that every single prediction concerning the environmental demise of the Earth and the people made in the original Earth Day Report was wrong. We also know that every additional claim, such as overpopulation, global warming, sea level rise, desertification, deforestation, and sea ice collapse, among many others, were wrong. I challenge anyone to produce empirical evidence that proves anything happening today is outside any long-term record of natural activity.

Convince the people that the entire world is threatened, and you can convince them that no nation can save it. It is then easy to convince them that a world government is the only way to save the planet. The trouble is that none of it is true. The World is in good shape, and people are living longer and healthier lives in every nation.

Like the majority of people, Elaine Dewar assumed environmentalists were commendable even heroic people. She began research for a book singing their praises. It didn’t take long to learn the basic premise was wrong. Following the traditional and proper methodology, rarely seen these days, Dewar identified the duplicitous characters involved in the Canadian environmental movement and laid them out in her book Cloak of Green. She spent five days at the UN with Canadian Maurice Strong arguably the world architect of official environmentalism. He was praised excessively, as in this article, “The World Mourns One of its Greats: Maurice Strong Dies, His Legacy Lives On.” Another article recognized the evil he personified, “Who is Global Warming Propagandist Maurice Strong?” After the five days, Dewar concluded,

“Strong was using the U.N. as a platform to sell a global environment crisis and the Global Governance Agenda.”

The environmental movement as the basis for a socialist world government was in the minds of people like Strong and fellow members of the Club of Rome in the late 1960s. However, it was launched on the world on April 22, 1970, by a small group centered at Stanford University. The date is critical because it was the first Earth Day. It is also very important to know the choice was deliberate because it is the birthday of Vladimir Lenin. The environmental movement was a deliberate program to impose communism on the world.

The underlying theme of the environmental movement makes the following false assumptions.

That almost all change is a result of human activity. The UN claim, using computer models, that 95%+ of temperature increase since 1950 is due to human-produced CO2. This works because they don’t consider most natural causes.

That humans are unnatural. The 1990 “Greenpeace Report on Global Warming” says CO2 is added to the atmosphere “naturally and unnaturally.” Yes, that unnatural production is from humans.

That we are not part of nature. Ingrid Newkirk, co-founder of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) comment explains.

“Mankind is a cancer; we’re the biggest blight on the face of the earth.” “If you haven’t given voluntary human extinction much thought before, the idea of a world with no people in it may seem strange. But, if you give it a chance, I think you might agree that the extinction of Homo Sapiens would mean survival for millions if not billions, of Earth-dwelling species. Phasing out the human race will solve every problem on earth, social and environmental.”

That we should be eliminated or dramatically reduced in number. In May 2015, the Pope produced Laudate Si an Encyclical about his view of the state of the Earth. It is a socialist diatribe, but that is not surprising since the main contributor was Hans Schellnhuber, a pantheist. This group believes the world population should be below 1 billion people.

That if the western world reduces levels of CO2 production, the rest of the world will follow. China has 2,363 coal plants and is constructing 1,171 more. The US has 15 and is not constructing any.

The US can build as many clean-burning coal plants as they want and burn coal pollution free. They don’t have to worry about CO2 because it is not a pollutant and is not causing climate change. No significant environmental problems are threatening the world. All the stories about impending environmental doom are fictions deliberately created to make people surrender control to the government. It is time to break the emotional stranglehold of those who used the environment to create global socialism. […]

[You’re an apostate if you refuse to believe the globalist claims.]

White Peoples and Their Achievements Are Headed for the Trash Bin of History

The Western world is collapsing so rapidly that I am afraid that I am going to outlive it.

The Western presstitutes and politicians have demonized Putin, Maduro, Iran, and Trump to the same extent as the patriotic propagandistic Western court historians have demonized Adolf Hitler. But no one is as demonized as white people, and the curious thing is that it is self-demonization—whites demonizing whites.

One can understand why former British and French colonies from Africa through the Middle East to India, and Washington’s former colony in the Philippines and its Latin American puppet states would look with disfavor on white faces and use harsh language. But why do the New York Times, CNN, NPR, and white professors throughout the university system, school boards, white politicians, such as France’s Macron and the European Community’s Jean-Claude Juncker and Germany’s Merkel and a wide assortment of British and Scandinavian politicians demonize white people? In Scandinavia a blond woman who reports her rape by the latest wave of third world “migrants” invited into the country by the crazed Scandinavian politicians is dismissed as a racist. Scandinavian people have told me that it is becoming difficult to report any crime by migrants as the report borders on being a hate crime.

Why is fake history created in order to support this hatred of white people? Not long ago I wrote about a white man who wrote in CounterPunch that Robert E. Lee owned 200 slaves and enjoyed abusing them. I pointed out that Lee spent his life, until Virginia’s secession, as a US Army officer fighting for the US empire against Mexico and against the native “Indians.” He never had 200 slaves or a plantation. He was a US Army officer who was so highly regarded by Washington that he was offered a Union command when the North decided to invade the South in order to preserve the Empire.

The fake history about Lee is just one example. I used it because it demonstrates how outrageous are the lies that now comprise American “history.” Despite being unattached to any known facts, they nevertheless get into history books…

Diversity has become such a value that the great universities have decided to destroy themselves in order to promote diversity. Oxford University, the most famous university in the world, has decided to lower its standards in order to promote diversity. Over the course of the next four years Oxford is going to reject 25% of the qualified applicants in order to make room for unqualified applicants who are “deprived” because of standards that cause “inequality.”

Goodbye the value of an Oxford education. The once prestigious degree is becoming equalized with that of a community college, Heaven forbid that there is anything but equality. The parents who sacrificed to send their kids to private schools to prepare them for success at Oxford, have wasted their sacrifice and their money, because the qualifications for 25% of their kids for admission are irrelevant for diversity admission.

  1. “The controlled media threw a fit last year after President Trump ordered Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to “closely study the South Africa land and farm seizures and expropriations and the large scale killing of farmers,” insisting the killing of white farmers was a “white genocide conspiracy theory.” any news on this?

  2. Brazil has all the rare earth metals we need. Stay the course, Mr. Trump.

  3. The effort to falsify, undermine and erase history is gaining speed in Central Europe. For example, the young Serbian man who shot the archduke Ferdinand and his wife Sofi — the event that started WWI — is now celebrated by some as a brave hero of the resistance. A noble activist, no less.

What bothers me about this is not so much that new angles of looking at said event are discussed. They are not discussed. The are superimposed. And that is just one tiny example. People are once again afraid to speak their mind in public, and there is a spike of denunciation and snitching on people who do.
