The great “stimulus” heist: Obama seems to think nobody will remember he grabbed almost a trillion dollars for “stimulus” spending, created virtually zero private-sector jobs with it, allowed a great deal of the money to vanish into thin air, and spent the rest of his presidency complaining that he needed hundreds of billions more to repair roads and bridges.
Vast sums of taxpayer money were wasted on foolish projects that came close to the Keynesian economic satire of hiring some people to dig holes, and others to fill them in. Obama added insult to injury by appointing Vice President Joe Biden as the “sheriff” who would supposedly find all that missing stimulus loot.
Operation Fast and Furious: Obama partisans seem to think any given example of abuse or ineptitude by their man stopped being a “scandal” the moment it seemed clear he wouldn’t be impeached over it. Operation Fast and Furious, the Obama administration’s insane program to use American gun dealers and straw purchasers to arm Mexican drug lords, is a scandal with a huge body count, prominently including Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agent Jamie Zapata, plus hundreds of Mexican citizens. Agent Terry’s family certainly thinks it qualifies as a scandal.
Sheriff Paul Babeu implicates Eric Holder and the Obama Justice Department as accomplices in the crimes involving weapons used in the “Fast and Furious” scandal:
Benghazi: This is the clearest example of Obama and his supporters think all of his pre-2012 scandals ceased to exist the moment he won re-election. Benghazi has been investigated extensively, and argued about passionately, since the night of September 11, 2012. Nothing can change the absolute fact that the Obama administration’s story for the first few weeks after the attack was false, and they knew it was false. They spun a phony story to buy themselves a little time during a presidential election campaign, and it worked.
Iran nuclear deal and ransom payment: Everything about Obama’s dealings with Iran has been scandalous, beginning with his silence while the Green Revolution was brutally put down by the mullahs in 2009. The Iran nuclear deal was pushed with lies and media manipulation. The infamous pallet of cash that wasn’t a ransom has become symbolic of Obama’s mendacity, and penchant for breaking the rules, when he thinks following them is too much trouble.

Biden Attacks Thomas Jefferson, Donald Trump, Using Lies to Announce Candidacy
That former Vice President Joe Biden has announced his third attempt at the White House was a surprise to no one who has paid any attention to Washington politics. Likewise, it is no surprise that he is — early on in his campaign — running on a platform of being the only one who can save America from the catastrophic destruction that he claims will necessarily follow another four years of Donald Trump as president. What perhaps is surprising is the lows to which he has already stooped in his efforts to paint Trump as a racist.
In a video announcing his candidacy, Biden used the August 2017 Charlottesville, Virginia, clash between white supremacists and Antifa as a background prop for his hyperbolic rhetoric. He begins the video by quoting the Declaration of Independence. Before quoting the most well-known portion of the Declaration (“We hold these truths to be self evident…”), Biden says, “We know it by heart.” And while Biden gets the quote right (which is a major feat for the man known for getting facts, figures, and people mixed up on a regular basis), it is worth noting that his former boss, President Obama, did not seem to “know it by heart” — he habitually left out the phrase, “by their Creator” when quoting it.

Concealed-Carry Permit Holder Tells Chicago Cops He Shot and Killed a Carjacker
A remedy to the wave of lawlessness overwhelming Chicago is suggested by the story told to police there by a victim of an attempted carjacking. Assuming that the story checks out, Illinois ought to consider easing its draconian gun control laws to permit more concealed carry permits to be issued, and thereby deter crime. From the Chicago Tribune A man with a concealed carry permit told police he shot and killed another man who ran into the back of his BMW in the Loop and then demanded the keys to the car at gunpoint early Friday, authorities said.
The owner of the 2015 BMW said his car was rear-ended by a Volkswagen at Ida B. Wells Drive and State Street around 4:30 a.m. The man said he got out to look at the damage and then went back to the BMW to get his cell phone.
The driver of the Volkswagen walked up with a gun and demanded the keys, pushing the other man into the BMW, police said. Both were inside the BMW when the owner grabbed his own gun and shot the other man, 22, in the head.

In response to New York City mayor Bill de Blasio’s threat to make glass and steel skyscrapers “extinct” because “They have no place in our city or our Earth anymore,” the New York Post ran a cartoon depicting the mayor as Fred Flintstone presenting a building design made of rocks. A perfectly sound comment, given that those who proclaim themselves to be “progressives” are clearly rejecting the modern age and the true progress that has lifted humankind from millennia of abject poverty to abundance over the last few centuries. The process of advancement started in Western Europe with the rise of capitalism and has spread across the world. The process is not yet complete, as people even in the advanced nations still have unmet needs and desires. Indeed, the entire field of economics is based on the assumption that human wants are unlimited. The rise of the Green movement threatens to halt any further gains in material living standards and to roll back much of what has been accomplished since the Industrial Revolution.
The left has embraced the Green movement for a very simple reason. The left rejects the modern world because it was not built according to its ideology. Yet, its ideology, being pulled out of thin air, cannot build anything substantial or enduring. And most importantly, it cannot generate the kind of economic growth necessary to raise living standards across society. Most serious socialist ideologues know this. The strategy has always been, from Marx onward, that socialists would seize control of an already developed capitalist economy and then redistribute the wealth it had created in a more “equitable” manner. Creating new wealth after the revolution was known to be problematic, so the natural desire of people for more — the motive for the development of civilization from time immemorial, has to be curtailed. A “new individual” with less ambition must be created to fit the stagnant socialist model.

Kirk: 7 Years Later Shows Me Why I Am Thankful for Breitbart
April 27 marks the seven-year anniversary of the first op-ed piece that I had published. Not surprisingly, the platform willing to accept something from a conservative high school senior was Breitbart. Then as now, Breitbart was willing to provide a place for otherwise unheard voices to be expressed.
The headline for that 2012 column was “Liberal Bias Starts in High School Economics Textbooks.”
I pointed out that Krugman’s Economics for AP, written by Margaret Ray and David A. Anderson, and adapted from Paul Krugman and Robin Wells’ Economics (Second Edition), was being used as the textbook to teach the principles of economics to our supposedly best and brightest young people.
In that text, Krugman, who never met a free market he wished to remain free, dismissed the success of Ronald Reagan’s economic policies without any presentation of arguments to the contrary. In my 2012 editorial I wrote:
Throughout the entire textbook, there are historical, factual, and statistical distortions. For example, Chapter 36 (“The modern macroeconomic consensus”) contains 16 sweeping generalizations such as: “Nearly all macroeconomists now agree… There is now a broad consensus… Today, most macroeconomists believe… Almost all macroeconomists now accept…” (pp. 355-58). None of these assertions are backed up with even a single citation. If a student were to submit an essay with such disregard for basic evidence, it would ensure a failing grade.
I enjoyed looking back at that piece and reading the brief bio line at the end that identified me as a “…high school senior who will be attending Baylor University.” It also identified me as the co-founder of SOS Liberty. I could not have imagined then that Baylor and SOS were a dream and that Turning Point USA would become my reality. Much has changed in the past seven years.
And much hasn’t changed at all.

New York Times Publishes Antisemitic, ‘Offensive’ Cartoon, Forced to Apologize
In Thursday’s international edition of The New York Times, a cartoon with “anti-Semitic tropes” was published that portrayed a blind President Trump led by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu depicted as a dog with a Star of David collar around its neck.
The cartoon appeared in the April 25 international edition and coincided with the end of the Passover holiday and Shabbat, two days many observant Jews were not online.
The cartoon was quickly criticized by several social media users.

United States Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) sat down for an interview with KARE 11’s Jana Shortal. During their discussion, Shortal asked Omar about her anti-Semitic remarks, as well as her flippant “some people did something” remark in reference to the Islamic terror attacks that took place in American on 9-11, during a recent CAIR event in Los Angeles.
Shortal asked Omar, “Let’s go back in time. On February 10 you responded to a tweet with the words, “It’s all about the Benjamins baby.” Do you regret that tweet? “

Satanic Temple Wins IRS Recognition as an Official House of Worship
Many Americans regard paying taxes as a necessary evil. If they want to worship Satan, now the IRS has officially given them a tax-exempt place to do so.
The Internal Revenue Service has granted the same non-profit status given to churches, synagogues and mosques to The Satanic Temple, an organization in Salem, Massachusetts, that calls itself America’s first devil-worshiping church. It is now protected by federal laws governing churches that operate as charities.
In a statement this week announcing the status, the group called itself “a non-theistic religious organization dedicated to Satanic practice and the promotion of Satanic rights.” Based in the town that hosted the Salem Witch Trials in the 17th century, the statement added that the group “understands the Satanic figure as a symbol of man’s inherent nature, representative of the eternal rebel, enlightened inquiry and personal freedom rather than a supernatural deity or being.”
Before the ruling, the IRS regarded the group as a “religious organization,” not as a full-fledged church with a place of worship. Churches are generally exempt from filing federal returns under the tax code.

Subway Riders Stop Hatchet-Wielding Maniac on Train: Cops
A hatchet-wielding straphanger tried to slice a passenger on Midtown subway train, but his ax-attack was foiled by a pair of good Samaritans, cops said Sunday.
The near-brutal encounter started Saturday night while the 46-year-old Reinaldo Reyes was riding the No. 1 train northbound just before 10:40 p.m.
The New Jersey man had gotten into an argument with another rider that turned physical near the W. 66th Street and Lincoln Center subway station, cops said.
But when the man pulled the hatchet from his bag of weapons, two good Samaritans tackled the ax-carrying man and held him down until cops arrived.

Microsoft has confirmed that Windows 10’s voracious appetite for storage remains undiminished in the upcoming May 2019 Update (1903).
Noted by Pureinfotech, Microsoft has quietly updated the minimum storage requirements for the OS from 16GB for 32-bit versions and 20GB for 64-bit to 32GB. Notably, the Windows 10 IoT Enterprise storage requirements remain at 16GB and 20GB for 32 and 64-bit versions respectively.
Minimum RAM requirements remain 1GB for 32-bit Windows 10 and 2GB for the 64-bit version. The minimum processor speed is also unchanged at 1GHz.
While the majority of Windows 10 machines enjoy a bit more than 16GB of storage nowadays, there were a good few tablets rocking less than 32GB back in the days when Microsoft was pitching the OS as touch-first with Windows 8 and 8.1. The Windows 10 May 2019 Update, however, is less than keen on such external storage shenanigans right now.
Microsoft is tight-lipped as to the reasoning behind Windows 10’s growing storage needs, but the new “Reserved Storage” feature has been fingered. The function swipes around 7GB (your mileage may vary) of disk space for its own nefarious purposes.

No truer words have recently come my way than those in an email letter sent by Cuban ‘Guillermo’today:

The irony in Guillermo’s intuitive thoughts is impossible to miss. While roughly 90 percent of the mainstream and social media spent the last two and a half years on a wild goose chase trying to prove Trump/Russia collusion, but came back totally empty of evidence, the KGB have “finally fixed all the details for our demise after decades of propaganda”.
The media made it appear as if the Russians were coming when they were already here.
Impervious to reality, the media, cheered on by the power-crazed Democrats, are STILL out there digging for dirt of any kind to bring down the president.

Top Chicago Prosecutor Kim Foxx Subpoenaed Over Jussie Smollett Case
Chicago’s top prosecutor, Kim Foxx, has been subpoenaed to appear at a hearing over her handling of the Jussie Smollett case, according to a new report.
The Cook County state’s attorney was slapped with the subpoena by a retired judge who’s pushing for the appointment of a special prosecutor to look into how Foxx dealt with the controversial case, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
Ex-appellate Judge Sheila O’Brien also subpoenaed Foxx’s top deputy Joseph Magats, and filed a document requesting that Smollett appear at the hearing, the report said.

Twitch Streamer Banned for “Hate Speech” Because He Had ‘Trump’ In His Username
A Twitch streamer was apparently banned for “hate speech” because his username included the word ‘Trump’.
Twitch is a live streaming platform which is primarily used for streaming video games. It is owned by Amazon subsidiary Twitch Interactive.
In a Reddit post, the streamer wrote, “I got perma banned for “hate speech” because my name had Donald Trump in it.”

Windows 10 PC With Under 32GB Storage? No 1903 Update for You, Says Microsoft
Microsoft has raised the minimum storage requirement for Windows 10 version 1903 to 32GB for both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows.
Microsoft finally raises its minimum storage requirements to 32GB for the Windows 10 May 2109 Update.
The minimum is up from the entirely unrealistic previous minimum storage capacities of 16GB for 32-bit Windows 10 and 20GB for 64-bit.
While many people do opt for devices with larger storage than this, the previous minimum requirement did allow hardware makers to produce low-end laptops with 32GB eMMC storage, which leaves users with insufficient space to install new Windows 10 feature updates.
The new storage minimum appears in Microsoft’s recently updated minimum hardware requirements page and comes as the company continues a final phase of Preview testing for Windows 10 1903 with Windows Insiders. Windows 1903 should be released in May and is called the Windows 10 May 2019 Update.

Austrian Antisemitism Expert Fined for Claiming Academic is Member of Muslim Brotherhood
A court has fined Austrian political scientist Michael Ley, an expert in Islamic antisemitism, for claiming a University of Salzburg professor was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Mr Ley was handed down a fine of 2,400 euros after being found guilty of incitement and slandering University of Salzburg professor Farid Hafez, Austrian tabloid Kronen Zeitung reports.

Controversial French writer Renaud Camus could face being prosecuted under hate speech laws after he tweeted that it would be a better idea to send condoms to Africa than to allow Africans to emigrate to Europe.

German Far-Right Training for Civil War & Collapse of State, Intel Warns
German ultra-nationalists believe a civil war and an eventual demise of the state will come about, and are preparing for it by training to use firearms and explosives, a local security service has warned.

Iceland Court Orders Visa & MasterCard Partner Valitor to Pay $10mn Over WikiLeaks Banking Block
Valitor, a partner of Visa and Mastercard, must pay WikiLeaks US$10 million for refusing to lift its 2011 banking blockade against the whistleblowing site despite a court order, local media reports.
The District Court of Reykjavik is ordering Valitor to fork over some $10 million (1.2 billion Icelandic krona) to WikiLeaks payment processor DataCell and WikiLeaks publisher Sunshine Press after Valitor failed to comply with a 2013 Supreme Court order to resume processing credit card payments for WikiLeaks.
Valitor was warned when the ruling came down that if they did not lift the blockade, daily penalties would continue to pile up. It is reported that Valitor plans to appeal.

Italy: Won’t Apologise to Marino, He Wasn’t Fit — Orfini
‘My choice was political, he was running the city badly’
(ANSA) — Rome, April 10 — Former Democratic Party (PD) Rome commissioner Matteo Orfini said Wednesday he would not apologise to former mayor Ignazio Marino after his acquittal in an expenses case that contributed to his ousting by the PD itself.
Orfini said that, above and beyond legal matters, Marino had been shown to be “unfit” to be mayor.
“Marino was not fit for that role, he was running Rome badly, the city was a disaster,” said Orfini, also a former PD party chair.
Orfini said he had made clear at the time that the decision to get rid of Marino was not linked to the expenses case.
“My choice was a political one,” he said.
Marino said earlier Wednesday that being acquitted in the restaurant bill graft case that contributed to his ouster is “a relief but I can’t say I’m happy”. “I’m thinking, in fact, of all the people, family members, friends, companions in dreams and projects who have suffered with me, and for me, in these years,” he said.
The Cassation Court on Tuesday quashed a two-year term for alleged graft for Marino.
The supreme court issued its verdict because “no crime was committed” in a case of alleged embezzlement and fraud over receipts for hospitality dinners.
Marino, of the centre-left Democratic Party, had been acquitted at first instance and convicted on appeal.

Swedish Vegans on Trial for Starving Two-Year-Old Daughter
The trial of Swedish parents accused of nearly starving their two-year-old daughter to death because of their vegan diet began this week with the two being charged with serious bodily harm.
The trial is set to last for around four days in Gothenburg. The toddler’s father is also facing separate charges related to drugs which he admitted to police during his initial interrogation but denied the drugs were for his own personal use, Swedish broadcaster SVT reports.

The Hypocrisy Behind Calling Out Notre Dame ‘Truthers’
In the case of conservatives asking questions about Notre Dame, “truthers” is a vile epithet meant to silence and marginalize them. Looking at the evidence available, nearly all of it points to an act of arson, not some random accident, as Frank Hawkins explains at American Thinker. Renovation workers took special care not expose the flammable roof to anything that could short-circuit and create a spark, and none of them were even there to make that kind of blunder. Additionally, these kinds of attacks on Church buildings happened all across France — an arsonist tried to burn down St. Sulpice Church a few blocks down the road just the week before.
To make matters even more suspicious, Hawkins points out how investigators proclaimed this an accident before they could even investigate. Reporters and spokespeople dismissed questions about the cause while providing no evidence for their story. Hardly a day later, President Macron secured millions from wealthy donors to rebuild the cathedral bigger and better than before. If nothing else, the speedy, forceful response implies a cover-up.
Otherwise, why not look for evidence? Why not consider possible motives? Is it because renovation workers have every reason not to set fire to the most important building in Paris, and radical Muslim thugs or a corrupt government looking for free donations to help pay for its tourist site have every reason start a fire? People actually paying attention have already come to this conclusion and have accepted that French leadership is compromised and immigration has only brought harm. The only people the mainstream media and French elite have convinced are those who are apathetic and those who hate Gothic cathedrals because they somehow find them racist.

Paris Saint-Germain football fans chanted “f*** you Macron!” during last night’s Coupe de France final in Paris as the French president sat in the stands.
A video clip shows PSG supporters vociferously chanting the insult during last night’s game with Rennes in St. Denis.
According to reports, Macron’s presence at the match had to be very carefully handled so he wouldn’t draw attention to himself and elicit a chorus of boos from the entire stadium.

Two British health workers who sneaked into Islamic State territory carried out ‘Nazi-style’ medical experiments on prisoners, Syrian witnesses claim.
Issam Abuanza, 40, a former NHS doctor who left behind his wife and two children in Sheffield when he travelled to Syria in 2014, was appointed the terror group’s ‘health minister’, the British Government believes.
Abuanza, now thought to be hiding in caves near the village of Baghouz, carried out such brutal torture on his victims that even IS fighters opposed it.
He appointed Mohammad Anwar Miah, also 40, a former pharmacist from Birmingham, who helped him remove organs from detained prisoners, the Syrian witnesses claim.

Saudi Savagery: Kingdom Beheads 16-Year-Old for Sending WhatsApp Message
The controversy over Saudi Crown Prince MbS’s alleged orchestration of the murder of Saudi dissident Jamal Khashoggi has largely subsided since the government insider-turned-critic walked into the kingdom’s consulate in Istanbul in early October and never walked out. But a new controversy is brewing over one of the kingdom’s most controversial practices: Its mass-beheadings of men convicted of ‘terrorism’ charges, typically members of the Shiite minority living in the eastern part of the kingdom.
Saudi Arabia has long practiced execution by beheading. But this year, the mass extermination of 37 of mostly Shiite men this week provoked condemnation from the UN and other human rights organizations, as several teenage boys were executed for crimes as seemingly petty a sending Whatsapp messages about government demonstrations.
One particularly disturbing case was recounted in the UK’s The Sun tabloid. Abdulkareem al-Hawaj was just just 16 when he was arrested. Just a schoolboy at the time, he was detained and accused of being a “terrorist” for sending texts online about an anti-government demonstration.

Thousands of British tourists were scrambling to flee Sri Lanka last night after the Foreign Office warned it was no longer safe.

Sri Lanka Bans All Types of Face Covers Including Burqa After Easter Sunday Bombings
The decision to ban all types of burqas and face covers was approved by Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena after several bombs ripped through the island nation on April 21.
Almost a week after a series of bomb blasts ripped through three Sri Lankan cities, government authorities on Sunday ordered a complete prohibition on all types of face covers including burqas.
The information was conveyed late on Sunday via an official press release. The release said: “Any form of face covering that will hinder the identification of a person is banned under emergency regulations.”
“A decision has been taken by the president to ban all forms of face covering that will hinder easy identification under emergency regulations,” it added.
The move to ban face covers, burqas and masks comes after a Sri Lankan parliamentarian submitted a private members’ motion for the same.
In fact, an organisation of Muslim clerics named All Cetlon Jamiyyathul Ulama also asked women to avoid wearing a burqa/niqab in order to help security forces.
Earlier in the day, PM Ranil Wickremesinghe also said that he was not against the ban on burqa. A situation of emergency has been declared in the island nation since the bombings that claimed over 250 lives, including some Indians.

Sri Lanka Attacks: Relatives of Key Suspect Zahran Hashim Killed
The father and two brothers of the alleged organiser of the Easter Sunday bombings in Sri Lanka, Zahran Hashim, were killed in a security forces operation on Friday, police say.
Hashim, who blew himself up at a hotel in Colombo, founded an Islamist group, the NTJ, which has now been banned.
Police have raided the group’s HQ in the eastern town of Kattankudy.

New Zealander Faces 14 Years After Pleading Guilty to Sharing Mosque Shooting Video
A businessman from Christchurch, New Zealand pleaded guilty to two charges of distributing footage of the Al Noor Mosque attack, according to the New Zealand Herald.
Philip Neville Arps was convicted on both charges, one of which was for sharing raw footage from accused shooter Brenton Tarrant’s rampage to approximately 30 people on Facebook.
Neville’s other charge was for requesting that another person modify the footage by overlaying crosshairs and a “kill count,” which the court heard that he intended to distribute as an internet meme.
The 44-year-old Arps said that the modified footage was “awesome,” according to a police statement.
In 2016, Arps was convicted of offensive behavior for filming himself giving a hitler salute while delivering boxes of pigs heads and offal to the Al Noor mosque, according to the Herald.

Pirates Attack Gulf of Mexico Oil Rig, Lock Up Crew and Loot the Contents
Pirates attacked and plundered an oil rig last Sunday in the Gulf of Mexico, locking up the crew while they looked for loot.
Witnesses said at least six men armed with guns and knives boarded the rig at 9:30pm and proceeded directly to the third floor to wake up the crew. After locking up workers in the cafeteria, the thieves wandered freely, looting equipment, materials, money and anything of value they could carry.

France Saw Record Breaking 123,000 Asylum Applications in 2018
Final figures on asylum requests in France for 2018 have been released this week showing another record-breaking year with numbers higher than previously estimated.
According to figures released Wednesday by the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons (OFPRA), 123,625 people had applied for asylum in 2018, a 22.7 per cent increase from 2017 which had also been a record-breaking year.

Minnesota has the highest number of refugees per capita nationwide, according to the U.S. Census and refugee-support agencies. With 2 percent of the nation’s population, Minnesota has 13 percent of its refugees.
“Minnesota has been a magnet,” said Bob Oehrig, director of Arrive Ministries in Richfield, an agency that handles refugees. He said Minnesota has what refugees want — jobs, good social welfare programs, and plenty of people from their home country.
According to the American Immigration Council, Minnesota also has a sizable immigrant community, much of which emigrated from Mexico and India. Foreign-born residents account for over 8 percent of the state’s population, while 7 percent of residents are native-born Americans who have at least one immigrant parent.
With such a large number of foreigners living in the state of Minnesota, it’s no wonder lawmakers are pandering to their needs, as they work to ensure they get all of the same benefits (or more in some cases) as an American citizen.
According to the Star Tribune — The Minnesota House is poised to pass a measure Friday that would give all immigrants the ability to get driver’s licenses, even if they are in the country illegally.
“Immigrants, whether they are documented or undocumented, are Minnesotans. They are part of the fabric of our communities … It is time that we helped take away this shadow of not having a driver’s license,” House Majority Leader Ryan Winkler, D-Golden Valley, said at a news conference ahead of the vote.

Pope Francis Sends Half a Million Dollars to Assist Migrants in Mexico Trying to Reach U.S.
Globalist pontiff accelerates crusade against populism.
Pope Francis is sending $500,000 dollars to help migrants in Mexico who are trying to reach the United States.
“Pope Francis has donated 500,000 dollars to assist migrants in Mexico. The funds, from the Peter’s Pence collections, will be distributed among 27 projects promoted by sixteen Mexican dioceses and religious congregations, which requested assistance in continuing to provide food, lodging, and basic necessities to the migrants,” reports Vatican News.
The article notes that the migrants are primarily from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala but that they don’t plan to stay in Mexico, and are “instead hoping for a better future in the United States…however, the US border remains closed to them”.
The money will go to aid the more than 75,000 people who arrived in Mexico in 2018 as part of six migrant caravans.
As part of his crusade against populism, Pope Francis has repeatedly urged European countries to take in migrants from predominantly Muslim countries.

Pope Francis has appealed for the evacuation of refugees detained in Libya as the rebel Libyan National Army launches airstrikes in Tripoli in an attempt to seize the capital.

A cold-blooded murder by a violent gang Latin member who previously served time in a U.S. prison, was caught on camera in a parking structure in Miami, FL. The accused murderer, 29-year-old David Paneque, was supposed to be deported two years ago, but the U.S. hasn’t been able to deport him back to Cuba, because the Cuban government doesn’t want him back.
Tampa Bay Times — What the Cuban gang member did not know was that a restaurant owner in the strip mall had quietly installed a video surveillance system atop the garage to monitor his car after it’d been vandalized. From just feet away, the video captured Paneque pulling out his gun, hiding it from 31-year-old Leandro Lopez for a few moments before suddenly thrusting it into his face.
Brutal video evidence aside, it might rank as a typical South Florida murder except for the accused gunman, David Paneque, was supposed to have been deported nearly two years ago. But immigration authorities had to release him to the streets.
The reason: Paneque is Cuban. Even under renewed diplomatic relations established under former President Barack Obama, the island accepts back relatively few of its criminal citizens. Deportations to Cuba have risen under the aggressive policies pursued by President Donald Trump but still number only in the hundreds.

“Where is the solidarity for the Sri Lanka’s Christians?” asked the British scholar Rakib Ehsan, a Muslim.
“The differences in tone and nature between the condemnations of the Christchurch and Sri Lanka terrorist attacks are striking. After Christchurch, there was no hesitation about stating the religious backgrounds of the victims and directing emotion and affection towards Muslim communities. Politicians took no issue with categorising the events in Christchurch as terrorism.
“In contrast, the words ‘terrorism’ and ‘Christianity’, along with their associated terms, have so far failed to feature in much of the reaction to the attacks in Sri Lanka.
“What is evident is not only a clear reluctance to specify the religious background of Christians who were killed in Sri Lanka, but also an absence of heartfelt solidarity with Christian communities across the world, which continue to suffer grave forms of persecution on the grounds of their faith.”
Rakib Ehsan asked the right question. But it might be rewritten as: Where is the Western solidarity for the Sri Lanka’s murdered Christians?

Kansas High Court Approves Dismemberment
“Today is a tragic day that the Kansas Supreme Court would rule that the state constitution provides a ‘right’to tear apart innocent living, unborn babies, limb by limb,”
The Kansas Supreme Court has ruled that the state constitution allegedly protects the “right” for a woman to dismember her child in the womb, a barbaric and dangerous abortion procedure to kill fully-formed unborn babies. This Kansas law prohibits “knowingly dismembering a living unborn child and extracting unborn child one piece at a time from the uterus.”
The Kansas Supreme Court ruled against the Unborn Child Protection from Dismemberment Abortion Act stating that the law violates the state constitution’s so-called right to personal autonomy, including the decision whether to continue a pregnancy. The state Supreme Court issued its order today in Hodes & Nauser with six of the seven justices agreeing the state constitution protects the right to an abortion.
Senate President Susan Wagle said nowhere in the state constitution is there a “right to the violent act of abortion.” Wagle stated, “Today, the liberal, activist Supreme Court showed just how out of touch they are with Kansas values. Their ignorance to acknowledge that life in the womb, ordained by our creator and recognized by our medical community, as a separate life should … be protected by our laws.”

The Attacks on Christians and America’s First Freedom
The Islamic State (ISIS) has now taken credit for the Muslim massacre of Christians in Sri Lana. On average over 300 Christians a month are killed for their faith globally. This is the end result of a campaign of disrespect and hate towards Christians that have become a significant theme of American politics as well.
Is it merely coincidental that the most rapidly rising candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, Pete Buttigieg launched his campaign with an unfounded and unprovoked attack on America’s vice president because he is a Christian? In fact, as Buttigieg’s governor in Indiana, Pence had been particularly generous to Buttigieg when he publicly revealed his sexual orientation. But Buttigieg would not be dissuaded by Pence’s gesture of tolerance.
Buttigieg’s hatred was inspired by Pence’s Christian beliefs not any anti-gay behavior on his part. In other words, it was an assault on Americans’ most basic freedom — religious liberty. Buttigieg’s attack took place without so much as a demurral from any national Democratic figure, and in fact led directly to Buttigieg’s ascension to third place in the Democratic primary race. That alone speaks volumes about the anti-Christian prejudices manifested by the left in this country.

The most disciplined migrants in the Khabarovsk region will not be this fall
In connection with the UN Security Council resolution, all labor migrants from the DPRK must leave our country by December 2019. The last North Korean workers will leave the Khabarovsk Territory in October. Their work was very popular in the construction industry. North Korean workers have proven highly qualified, law-abiding, disciplined.
Recall that the UN Security Council last September unanimously adopted a resolution, according to which all countries must get rid of North Korean workers within two years.
The niche of North Korean labor migrants is occupied by immigrants from the CIS countries. In the first quarter of this year alone, 60,000 foreigners were registered. More than half of them are citizens of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. They also account for the most violations of immigration laws.

Finally we hear some of this truth emerging of UN grants for migrant helpers. I have heard and have seen for myself such things for years from internal government staff but I had no proof to show of this. It has always been known however that large NGOs receive funding but now we are beginning to see that the money is flowing in increasing amounts and to a wider array of groups and even individuals.

Seriously (?), how does this “academic” explain the apparent miracle of beings from another planet (?), having evolved separately, being able to interbreed with humans from Earth? Dohhh!

I welcome them to our planet as long as they are conservative and the UN does not fund NGOs to help them emigrate to Earth.

Even if the outbreak (at least in the US) is due to illegal migrants, as alleged, immunisation is the best protection. My partner, who nearly died of the disease as a girl, is almost tearing her hair out from anxiety because her daughter won’t have her granddaughter (coming up on three years old) vaccinated, having seen the (now totally discredited) stories about a link to autism.
Smallpox was eradicated by immunisation; polio almost was, but persists in Pakistan, Afganistan and Nigeria because of backward, bigoted imams telling people it’s a western plot to sterilise Muslim children.
